Severe Anxiety relief, what helps for Benzo withdrawal/taper off symptoms?
L-theanine 800mg helps, mulungu 500mg helps (most people never heard of) psychedelic mushrooms, ketamine may help. What helps you when you must withdraw (taper off Benzo addiction)?
I used to have panic attacks that had my husband rushing me to the emergency room all the time! I thought I was losing my mind with fear and anxiety. I would feel like digging a hole, jumping in and pulling the hole in with me!
In my case I found that "acid reflux" was the cause of my problem. Whenever I start to have a panic attack---I take a few TUMS as it works the best for my acid/panic attacks! Baking powder will work too if I don't have Tums. But for some reason Tums works best on me.
Panic attacks are the scariest thing I ever experienced in my life. I hope this little secret helps someone with this problem.
Strong Coffee and hot chili can bring on an attack.

I began experiencing anxiety and depression four months ago as a result, of extreme stress from grad school/ life circumstances. It quickly became severe. I stopped eating, was nauseous every day and could barely get out of bed. I am on antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds, which arent doing much. I am also going to therapy.
I read about ACV on this site and decided to try it a few days ago, using the standard recipe of 2 tsp in water 3 x a day. For 3 days, it has been amazing! My motivation, appetite, energy, ability to function, all came back within a day and by the second day my constant stress headache had vanished.
I took the same amount today and nothing happened. My headache is back, my motivation/energy are low. Is it possible for your body to become used to the ACV that quickly? Should I stop taking it for a few days? I am afraid of what will happen if I do. But I am also concerned because I have osteopenia, and have read that ACV taken regularly can exacerbate this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Apple Cider Vinegar
I started taking ACV to lower my blood pressure. Not only did it lower my pressure (My doctor was shocked at how low it went) It also cured my anxiety and a wart on my hand that i had for over a year. I tried everythin except going to the doctor to have it froze off. ACV made me a New person. Everyone at work said that i have more patience and am more relaxed. It is the Greatest thing since the invention of the wheel. I put a teaspoon full in a glass of water.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Hi. I am a new user of ACV and am very pleased and surprised at the way it is helped me to feel better. I know that I have always struggled with candidiasis, but never got the complete relief from it using other remedies. The ACV has made an incredible difference in how I feel. I have also experienced the other benefits of increased energy, decreased anxiety, better sleep. However, there is one concern I have that I hope someone can help me with. Sometimes when I take the ACV it seems to upset my stomach. Help! I really value this remedy, but I'm concerned about stomach upset. Thanks.

Apple Cider Vinegar
Ok, I have been reading about HBP, which I have and decided to go get some ACV. I went to the grocery store. I mixed 2tbls. with water and drank about half. It hurt my stomach at first. I think I needed more water. After about 30 minutes I noticed that my anxiety was gone. For the last week I have been panicking about my HBP, Just found out last week. I went to the emergency room 2 nights ago for it. And they told me it could be anxiety. This stuff stopped it. I didn't know that it could do that. I did a search on it and sure enough, it can end anxiety. Praise God. Now I waiting for my blood pressure to go down. I am already impressed. I feel happy. I never feel happy. I have been depressed for along time.

Apple Cider Vinegar
I suffered from depression and anxiety for many years. I tried at least six or seven medications over a five year period but nothing worked. They all were just expensive and had bad side effects. A naturopathic biologist told me to take ACV and after a couple of days I felt much better for the first time. I believe there are people who need the prescription medications -and counseling is a great help to most of us- but for those of us suffering from occasional recurrent depression/anxiety I believe it is a fantastic cure. I have only taken it when my depression pops up and found relief every time. After reading the benefits for weight loss though, I believe I will begin taking it daily - and brushing my teeth afterward!
I had years of horrible irrational anxiety while driving. I discovered that something in apples releived much of my anxiety----maybe it was just the distraction, but it worked. Later, I read that dehydration (thirst) is a contributing factor in anxiety. I started taking a bottle of water with me in the car and that works great. Im not cured, but, way better.
Try it, hope it helps.

I have found myself to dramatically feel less burdened by daily stress when I'm taking Ashwagandha twice a day. My counselor suggested the improvement was attributable to other changes I've made in life but when I tested by ceasing Ashwagandha I returned to having more tense feeling days including clenching of teeth. I have tried both Organic India brand which is available at Whole Foods and Swanson's Ultimate Ashwagandha and while both were effective I believe the Swanson product worked best. Both of these products were only made from the root of the herb and I would love to hear from others if results have been better from taking both the root and leaves (I haven't yet tried).
I am a chronicly (sp?) anxious person. B complex really helps with it. It gives you energy when you don't want to get out of bed and it makes you able to resolve the things you're so busy worrying about. I take it every day- I did here though, that it's kinda hard on your kidneys. I try to take a few days off a month to give my body a break. Hope this helps!
I have found that taking B complex vitamins work very well for depression and anxiety. Also repeating positive affirmations like "I am healing" while imagining a white light covering your entire body has worked very well for me! Much peace to you all!!
I had horrible anxiety and paranoia a few years ago. It seemed to come out of no where. I couldn't get any relief. My doctor ran some blood tests and discovered I was extremely low on vitamin B12. I was prescribed B12 shots because I eat plenty of meat so I shouldn't be deficient. Shots are the only way my body can absorb this vitamin. Well, after the first shot I felt a peaceful calm settle over me. The paranoia left at the same time. It was like a miracle.
I have to take monthly B12 shots or the anxiety and paranoia come back. Google B12 deficiency and see if your son has some of the other symptoms that come with this disease.
If you are having anxiety, get your Vitamin B12 level checked by your doctor.
I was having horrible anxiety and was seeing a therapist who kept trying to give me anti-anxiety medicine. When I had some blood work done it was discovered that I was very low on B12.
Apparently, B12 deficiency causes anxiety, depression and insomnia, in addition to numerous other dangerous health problems.
After I started loading doses of B12 shots, my anxiety DISAPPEARED COMPLETELY. Just like magic.
If you think your B12 level must be OK because you are taking an oral supplement you might be wrong. B12 is the only vitamin that requires a cofactor (intrinsic factor) in order for your body to be able to use it. There are many reasons why your body may not be able to absorb B12 properly, including use of PPIs. So, if you can't absorb B12 the normal way, get a B12 shot. You'll be so glad you did.
I was under constant attack from anxiety, and depression was setting in because of it. I saw a therapist who taught me about positive thinking and ways to get myself out of a panic attack. It kinda worked but was a constant effort to always be managing my moods and still fighting random panic attacks. I started self medicating with a popular narcotic made to ease anxiety. We all know it as a small white rectangular pill. I became dependant and my tolerance built up way to high. I lost my job, and almost my wife and kid because of that stupid pill! I checked myself into a rehab...mainly to get it out of my system while in a secure, stable environment. My mind was definetly set on getting that pill out of my life so it was easy to kick. When I got out I was so scared of my anxiety coming back...and it did! I then remembered someone telling me about B-12 and Folic Acid as a natural cure for anxiety. I went to the store found the vitamins and saw it was like $6 for a 3 months supply and said "what the heck, I'll try it".....2 years later only one ten minute panic attack! The one I did have was after a night of drinking and did not take my vitamins...so def. my own fault. I take 500mcgs of B-12 and 400 mcgs of Folic Acid twice a day (i'm a big guy) I rarely, very rarely even think of my anxiety.
I have also, overtime, added a supplement called 5-htp and always carry around Altoids. I take the 5-htp when it just feels like things aren't going my way, and within an hour I am as giddy as a 3yr old watching blues clues! The Altoids help me out just whenever, they give me my own personal break from everything. The freshness it gives just puts everything back on a balanced level. The extreme peppermint taste relaxes me. I pop one in before any stressfull meeting, event, issue and i'ts like my own personal shield from stress!
As a side note since taking these new vitamins I have only been sick with a cold for one day out of 2 years! I have not gotten a single sore throat, flu, ear ache...Everyone in my family can be sick and I get nothing! I feel invincible! Smiling more.
