Nail Fungus Natural Remedies

Nail fungus (also called onychomycosis) is a common condition that can cause nails to turn yellow or white, thicken, become brittle, and sometimes lift from the nail bed. Prescription options exist, but many people prefer natural remedies for nail fungus because they want gentler, lower-risk approaches they can use consistently at home.

Quick Take
  • Consistency beats intensity: nail fungus often takes months, not days.
  • Treat the skin too: athlete’s foot can reinfect nails repeatedly.
  • Support regrowth: you’re not just “killing fungus”—you’re growing a healthier nail.

Quick-Nav

Understanding Nail Fungus

Nail fungus develops when fungi (often dermatophytes) or sometimes yeast/mold invade the nail bed or nail matrix. Nails grow slowly and have limited blood supply compared with skin, which is one reason onychomycosis can be stubborn.

Common symptoms:

  • Yellow, white, or brown discoloration
  • Thickened nail, ridges, or distortion of nail shape
  • Brittle, crumbly, or splitting nails
  • Debris or “chalky” buildup under the nail edge
  • Nail lifting from the nail bed (onycholysis)
Important Safety Note

Dark streaks under a nail, rapidly worsening pain, pus, spreading redness, or severe swelling should be evaluated promptly. People with diabetes or immune suppression should be cautious and consider medical guidance early.

Athlete’s Foot to Nail Fungus (Lesser-Known Pathway)

Many cases of nail fungus begin as athlete’s foot (tinea pedis). The fungus thrives on moist skin, especially between toes, and can migrate to the nail edge and nail matrix over time.

If athlete’s foot is treated aggressively on the surface (including with strong essential oils like oregano oil) but the infection is not fully eliminated—or footwear, socks, and toe-web moisture keep reintroducing it—fungus can persist and later involve the nail. This is less about the fungus “escaping” and more about incomplete eradication + ongoing reinfection, which can coincide with treatment attempts.

Practical takeaway:
  • If you have athlete’s foot, treat skin + nail edges at the same time.
  • Use strong oils diluted and consistently, not as a one-time “blast.”
  • Disinfect footwear habits (dry shoes, change socks, keep toe webs dry) or the cycle repeats.

Best Natural Remedies for Nail Fungus

Natural remedies tend to work best when you combine three elements: (1) an antifungal topical, (2) nail thinning/penetration, and (3) reinfection control.

1) Tea Tree Oil (Diluted)

Why it helps: Tea tree oil is widely used for fungal skin and nail issues due to its antimicrobial properties.

How to use: Mix 5–10 drops tea tree oil with 1 teaspoon of coconut or olive oil. Apply to the nail, under the nail edge (if accessible), and surrounding skin twice daily.

2) Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

Why it helps: ACV creates an acidic environment that may make fungal survival harder and supports skin pH balance.

How to use: Soak feet in equal parts ACV and warm water for 15–20 minutes daily. Dry thoroughly, especially between toes.

A Time-Saving Alternative to Daily ACV Soaks

Many people are interested in using apple cider vinegar (ACV) for nail fungus but find that daily 15–20 minute soaks are unrealistic long-term. An alternative approach reported by readers focuses on prolonged contact rather than soaking time.

ACV contact method (for busy schedules)
  • Soak a small piece of gauze or cotton pad with apple cider vinegar.
  • Place it directly over the affected nail.
  • Secure with a breathable bandage or medical tape.
  • Leave in place for several hours or during daily activities.
  • Remove at night, cleanse the area, and reapply if desired.

This method emphasizes extended exposure to ACV rather than short, concentrated soaking sessions. Some users find it easier to maintain consistency this way, especially when treating a single nail.

Helpful tips
  • Use diluted ACV (typically 1:1 with water) if skin irritation occurs.
  • Allow the skin to dry fully before reapplying a fresh dressing.
  • If redness or burning develops, discontinue and allow the area to recover.
  • This method works best for one or two affected nails, not widespread infection.

Editorial note: Whether using soaks or contact methods, results with ACV are gradual. Most improvements reported by readers occur over weeks to months, not days. Consistency matters more than intensity.

For a more detailed, standalone guide to using apple cider vinegar for toenail fungus — including alternate methods for busy schedules, reader experience highlights, and practical tips — see our full Apple Cider Vinegar for Toenail Fungus page.

3) Coconut Oil

Why it helps: Coconut oil contains fatty acids often cited for antifungal activity and helps protect irritated skin.

How to use: Massage into the nail, cuticle, and toe webs 2–3 times daily.

4) Baking Soda

Why it helps: Helps reduce moisture on the surface and may make the environment less favorable for fungus.

How to use: Apply a paste of baking soda + water for 10–15 minutes, then rinse and dry.

5) Hydrogen Peroxide (3%)

Why it helps: Acts as a disinfectant; some use it to reduce microbial load on the nail surface.

How to use: Soak in a 1:1 mix of peroxide and water for 10–15 minutes once daily. Stop if irritation develops.

6) Garlic

Why it helps: Garlic contains compounds often associated with antimicrobial effects.

How to use: Apply crushed garlic for 20–30 minutes, then rinse. Discontinue if burning or rash occurs.

7) Oregano Oil (Use Carefully)

Why it helps: Oregano oil contains potent compounds (notably carvacrol) with strong antimicrobial activity.

Do not use oregano oil undiluted.

Undiluted oregano oil can cause burns, blistering, or prolonged irritation—especially between toes or around cuticles.

How to use: Mix 2–3 drops of oregano oil into 1 teaspoon of carrier oil (olive/coconut). Apply to nail and surrounding skin once or twice daily. If you also have athlete’s foot, apply to toe webs (diluted) and keep the area dry.

8) Epsom Salt Soaks

Why it helps: Softens thickened nails and supports routine cleaning, which may improve topical penetration.

How to use: Dissolve ½ cup in warm water and soak for 15–20 minutes. Dry thoroughly afterward.

9) Aloe Vera

Why it helps: Soothes irritated skin and supports barrier recovery (useful when stronger remedies cause dryness).

How to use: Apply pure aloe gel 2–3 times daily.

What to Do If Nails Have Been Thick for Years

Long-standing nail fungus often leads to chronic nail thickening, where the nail plate and nail bed produce excess keratin over time. Even after trimming, the nail may quickly grow back thick, layered, or distorted. This does not mean treatment has failed—it means the nail needs a different strategy.

Important to know:

Aggressive cutting, digging, or tearing thick nails can worsen thickening by triggering more keratin production. Slow, consistent thinning works better than force.

Step 1: Soften Before You Trim

Thick nails should never be trimmed dry.

  • Soak feet for 15–20 minutes (Epsom salt, ACV + water, or warm water alone).
  • This reduces resistance and lowers the risk of cracking or splitting.

Step 2: File, Don’t Just Cut

Trimming removes length, but filing reduces thickness—which is the real goal.

  • Use a coarse emery board, crystal file, or disposable nail file.
  • File gently in one direction across the nail surface.
  • Stop if warmth, tenderness, or pain develops.
Frequency that works:
  • Light filing 1–2 times per week
  • More is not better—over-filing triggers rebound thickening

Step 3: Improve Topical Penetration

Thick nails block antifungals from reaching the infection.

  • Apply treatments immediately after soaking or filing.
  • Focus on the nail edges and underside if accessible.
  • Consistency matters more than product strength.

Step 4: Reduce Pressure on the Nail Bed

Constant pressure tells the nail bed to keep thickening.

  • Wear shoes with a wider toe box.
  • Avoid repetitive trauma (tight footwear, long downhill walks).
  • Rotate shoes to allow drying between wears.

Step 5: Know When Professional Debridement Helps

For very thick or painful nails, a podiatrist can safely thin the nail (called debridement). This does not cure fungus by itself, but it can:

  • Reduce pressure and discomfort
  • Improve topical treatment effectiveness
  • Lower the risk of splitting or infection
Do not attempt at home:

Grinding tools, aggressive clip.

A Simple Daily Routine That’s Realistic

Morning (2–3 minutes)
  • Dry feet thoroughly (including toe webs).
  • Apply a diluted topical (tea tree or oregano + carrier oil) to nail and surrounding skin.
  • Put on clean socks (preferably moisture-wicking).
Night (Active time: 5–8 minutes + optional soak time)
  • Soak (ACV or Epsom salt) 15–20 minutes if you can, even 3–4x/week helps.
  • Dry thoroughly.
  • Apply topical again, focusing under the nail edge if accessible.
  • Once weekly: gently file thick nail surface to improve penetration.

Timeline: Expect early cosmetic improvement in 6–10 weeks with consistent routines, while full toenail regrowth may take 9–12 months.

Natural vs Prescription Nail Fungus Treatments (Comparison Table)

Option Typical Use Pros Cons / Cautions Best Fit
Natural topicals
(tea tree, diluted oregano, coconut)
Daily application for months Lower systemic risk; accessible; can treat skin + nail together Slow; depends on consistency; essential oils can irritate if undiluted Mild to moderate cases; prevention; people avoiding systemic meds
Prescription topical
(medicated lacquer/solution)
Long-term daily/weekly use Targeted; less systemic exposure May have modest success alone; still slow; cost/coverage varies Early infection; those who can’t take oral meds
Oral prescription antifungal Weeks to months (per clinician) Often stronger for deep nail involvement Potential drug interactions; monitoring may be needed; not for everyone Severe/thick multi-nail cases; recurrent infections
Procedures
(debridement / clinician trimming, etc.)
As needed Improves comfort and topical penetration Doesn’t always cure alone; requires follow-through at home Very thick nails; pain/pressure; recurring cases

Prevention & Reinfection Checklist

Make your routine work by preventing reinfection:
  • Dry between toes after showers.
  • Change socks daily (or twice daily if you sweat heavily).
  • Rotate shoes and let them fully dry between wears.
  • Disinfect nail clippers and files after each use.
  • Avoid barefoot exposure in communal wet areas.
  • If you have athlete’s foot, treat it immediately (it can “feed” nail fungus).

When to See a Doctor

Natural remedies may be helpful, but consider medical advice if:

  • No improvement after 3–4 months of consistent treatment
  • Multiple nails are involved or nails are very thick and painful
  • You have diabetes, circulation issues, or immune suppression
  • There is redness, warmth, drainage, or increasing pain

What Earth Clinic Readers & Users Report

In real-world use, people commonly report that the best results come from combining a topical remedy with basic nail care and reinfection prevention.

Common reader patterns:
  • Daily topical + weekly filing: Many report improved nail clarity when they gently thin thick nails so remedies can penetrate.
  • ACV soaks as a “foundation” step: Often used to support pH balance and reduce skin fungus that reinfects nails.
  • Oils must be diluted: Readers frequently note better long-term consistency (and fewer setbacks) when strong oils are used safely.
  • Foot hygiene matters as much as the remedy: Repeated reinfection from sweaty shoes is a common reason for “it came back.”
Reader caution:

If a remedy causes burning, redness, cracking, or worsening pain, stop and switch to a gentler approach (such as coconut oil or aloe) while the skin barrier recovers.

Final Thoughts

Nail fungus can be persistent, but steady daily care and smart prevention can make a meaningful difference over time. If you are also dealing with athlete’s foot, treat the skin and nails together to reduce the chance of ongoing reinfection.

Alkalize

I think that alkalizing had the biggest affect on curing my nail fungus. I undertook a number of means to alkalize. That included virgin coconut oil, olive leaf extract, alkalized water, alkaline foods, zeolite, heavy metal detox, etc. I also found that wearing a poultice of zeolite powder and cayenne pepper also has good healing properties. I would often soak my feed in zeolite and acidic water. And after I put my socks on, I would soak some coconut oil and essential oils into the sock just above the nail. But I think the ultimate cause is being too acidic (I had candida too). I have now raised my pH to over 7.0 - up from less than 5.0 a few months ago. My ORP has changed from -ve 20 mV to close to -ve 200 mV. From what I have read, fungus can't exist in an alkaline body.

Hi John, I was wondering how you found out about your ph level and how to measure it, keep it in check, so forth. I have nail fungus on my big toe and am prone to candida as well. I've been trying a variety of cures for this and would like to be fungus free! Thanks, Rula

The easiest way to alkalize is to use baking soda 1 teaspoon in a large glass of water once a day for 2-5 times a week depending on ur situation. Baking soda alkalizes you and helps to clear up all kinds of things in your body. We are way too acidic from the food we eat. This causes many physical problems. Don't buy expensive alkalized water. Baking soda is cheap and it is used in many foods . It is harmless unless like anything else u use way too much too much of anything is not good. GOD BLESS ALL WHO READ THIS.

I just wanted to point out that there are higher-quality baking sodas available if one is going to ingest baking soda; which is typically not the brand name most are familiar with.

Two that I can suggest:

1. Bob's Red Mill Baking Soda

2. Unpretentious Baker's Baking Soda

Note that the latter currently advertises itself as "aluminum free"; whereas, the Bob's Red Mill website has this about its baking soda:

"Our Baking Soda does not contain added aluminum, but because its naturally mined from the earth, it could contain trace amounts of naturally occurring aluminum. Because of this, we chose to remove 'aluminum free' from our packaging."

I would suspect (though I don't know it for sure) that Unpretentious Baker's baking soda is probably the same, not 100% "aluminum free." But would need to double-check with them.

I also had toenail fungus. I started taking 2 tablespoons of ACV with honey twice a day. The fungus gradually disappeared and has not come back. It did take a while but when the new nail grows in the fungus will grow out with the old nail. It was about three months or a bit more for it to be completely gone. It has been nearly a year and it has not come back. I had it in both big toes and it had been there for quite a few years.

Hi Carol, I have used the ph strips which are cheap but found them to not be accurate enough. On EC Ted said the meter is beter and they are now cheaper to buy so I had a look around and have now bought a ph meter. Plus they have come down even more, mine was just under $20 and it is great. It is easy to check your urine 1st thing in the morning and also at other times throughout the day. It allows you to check your progress when using any alkalizing remedies, you may even find that you need to take them at different times or you may need to use Ted's carbicarb (especially at night if your 1st morning urine ph is very acidic). Also in addition to Debbie's suggestion you may also get some benefit with soaking your toes in an ACV & water mix, or just dabbing them with straight ACV. All the best, Maria

Had my toe nails done in salon 3 times in a row and ended up with a horrible case of toe nail fungus on both big toes. So of course did my research and was using a combination of essential oils to kill the fungus. It was a very slow kill and turned my toe nails an ugly brown. Oh and I also used Grapefruit seed extract. I will have to say these were not working so well so went to doctor. He prescribed the toxic cream and also recommend getting aloe Vera leaf, real whole leaf, not in a bottle or tube. He said to wrap a piece of it around each toe and sleep with it. I will have to say this worked. I was very amazed at how quickly too. After the first initial sleeping with the leaf on toes I applied the gel from the leaf twice a day a.m. and p.m. It has been a month now and I am still applying the aloe Vera mainly because I have it growing in my yard abundantly and for precaution. Really don't need to. While I am at it I put some on my face and complexion is looking very nice. I hadn't realized how hard it was to get rid of toe nail fungus if it really set in. I had always dealt with it when it was just starting and easy to get rid of with essential oils. So grateful for the aloe Vera leaf and the doctor who recommended it.

For better results and penetration of every active ingredient you use, a Scholl product suggests filing the infected nail first. Their plan is to file the nail once per week (with a new or disinfected file) but apply the active ingredient every day. Repeat this for four weeks. Then in the second stage of protection just aply once per week until the new nail is developed and no discoloration exists.

For fungus, Press'n Seal is absolutely great to wrap a toe with for during the day or a bedtime. You will be sealing it from the air. But, whatever you apply it will still be there twelve hours later. Just a 4 inch by 6 inch piece.

Treating Nail Fungus:

I'm going to add my tuppence here. The nail and the skin directly underneath it are so pressed together that it is impossible for cream or liquid to get at it. Any remedy should be loaded to the sides and tip of the nail and left to the air for 20 - 30 minutes so that it can spread skin cell to skin cell for effectiveness.

I know someone who tried many things for this but would put socks and shoes on straight away so that the liquids would soak straight into the wool. A clever nurse told her to do it half an hour before she got into bed and, hey presto, faster results.

I have one foot cured and the other almost done with this new approach. I dip my toes in scalding hot water (one at a time) long enough that I can't take the pain anymore. I dry them off with a hair dryer and then apply antifungal ointment. I trim the nails as short as possible. I have been doing this for two weeks at bedtime and in the morning. It's working for me so far. I make their home small, hot, and poisonous. If they still want to live there, they will be uncomfortable

Just a hint for all the medications you try. I found it best to appy after showers, soaking etc. But also needed to use on perfectly dry nails like at bedtime. You can see the liquid being pulled in by the dry tissue. Cures work much quicker.

Hey there!

I've written before but no one got back to me. I hope I have better luck this time.

I'm trying to find Azoxystrobin without added chemicals but have not been able to locate any by web searching. It was mentioned by some ppl on your site but I could only find some huge $500 gal sources and again not sure if there were other ingredients with it.

Can you help me with this or at least respond this time?

Catherine: It would be good if you provided a little more detail on what you have tried that didn't work. Anyway, there really isn't any short answers and magic bullets when it comes to fungal infections simply because most times, especially w/ Candida, it's only a manifestation of an underlying immune problem which is sometimes greatly helped by detoxing and a parasite cleanse.

Here is a link to the E.C. Candida page for your perusal https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/candida.html

Have you read Bill's Killing So Sweetly book advertised here on E.C.??

I have been battling toe fungus on 3 toes for years. Vinegar, borax and now baking soda soaks have all slowly helped. I feel like I'm finally on the home stretch and my nails are looking healthy again.. thanks to baking soda. I wish I'd thought of this at the start! I am still soaking for 20 min daily. I alternate between straight vinegar, borax in water, or baking soda in water. All have helped. But what has really seemed to help is putting a little baking soda in the toe of my sock! I'm sure that not wearing socks and getting sun on my feet will help when the weather gets warm, but during the cold months, baking soda in your sock keeps them in an inhospitable environment for fungi all day long. I also give them a little dusting of it before I go to bed. I hope this helps! I will never get another pedicure. Now, I really prize the look of healthy natural toe nails!

For nail fungus, I found that making a baking soda paste and letting it sit on your toes for 10 minutes each day does the trick. Make sure that you clean your toes afterward.

I also found that washing your toes before bed each night really speeds up the process.

In the past (per Earth Clinic) I tried vinegar and tee tree oil, but experienced no results.

I have suffered from toenail fungus on a toe that got injured, years back, and I have erratically tried the medication from the drugstore, and a doctor prescribed some for me that can damage your liver, et cetera. I will not take anything like that that hurts my liver, so I had to find alternative ways to do it. For a while I soaked my feet in warm water and dish soap to soften the nails and then I purchased one of the battery operated nail files and filed the diseased nail down. Eventually I got rid of most of the unsightly nail, and change my socks twice a day. It was amazing how much the filing took care of it, and then air was able to get it the rest of the nail bed and the healthier nails. I have noticed that is a little tiny bit in the one corner that I don't want to encourage to go on so I purchased a heavy duty nail file and keep it filed down, and now I put a paste of baking soda on it and let it sit on it. It looks better! So I'm pretty excited about that. I'm thinking I'll also try the apple cider vinegar. Thank you for your great article I've been looking for this help for a long time. It's encouraging to know I'm not alone in this.

Fungus and Cancer:

I've used baking soda and maple syrup to cure fungus that I had on my big toe. In a matter of 3 days of taking one batch of this every day I saw the difference.

What I did, in a small pot I put 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 3 tsp of maple syrup I heated it up on medium (setting at 5) then reduced to 3 to allow it to boil for 5 minutes in all. Do not try to double the recipe otherwise you take away the effectiveness. Before it cools down too much I transfer onto a sandwich bag (not sure if this is wise, but that's what I've used so far) and I've put it in the freezer for about 3 to 4 minutes to let it cool and once cooled it comes off the plastic very easily, now don't let it sit in freezer too long otherwise it'll get real hard. Check it often and when it comes off then its ready to make into small pieces, I find its like making toffee, I twist it so that it looks equal lengthtwise and then take the scissors and cut into small sizes, once that is done I then take half of what I've cut and swallow them down with water. Some have eaten it straight from the pot I can't handle the taste and it seems to work just as well.

I learned this at another site and was wanting to share it since I've gained so much more from this site. APPARENTLY, HEATING it is VERY important. the molecules of the salts and sugars must be bonded by heat. THE FUNGUS OR CANCER loves the sugars of the syrup but then the attached sodium bicarbonate is A LETHAL TROJAN HORSE. I didn't use this for cancer but this information was given along with the fungus.

I couldn't cook it the five minutes because it foamed up so high I had to take it off the burner. What a hoot! Next time I'll try it in the full cup or buy a really small pot. It's in the freezer now. Hopefully it will come out o.k.

In response to Janice from Coloma, please do not double or try to alter the recipe, its simply 1tsp to 3tsp of Maple Syrup, you start at low heat which is a 6 on the dials after it comes to a boil which would be about 2 minutes reduce it to 3 and keep on stirring, caramel brown would be the color once done. Do NOT leave in freezer too long otherwise your going to make it hard as rock.

I currently have two friends who are trying it out, one has been on this for three days now and we are now seeing little dark dots on her planters wart.

Another has sebaceous cyst on his head, he's double the dosage, taking one recipe in the morning and one at night, it being his first day of using this he says "the cysts on my head didn't hurt today" his head was hurting so we'll see what happens in a few days. I'll keep you posted on results of the two people.

Response to Rena, my fungus dried up in three days a noticeable difference could be seen.

I wonder if blackstrap molasses would work as well as maple syrup as a trojan horse for the baking soda? For one thing, it is way cheaper than maple syrup (anyone notice how the price almost doubled last year when there was a supposed poor yield, but have not come back down at all??), but also this method of heating and allowing to cool and harden and then cutting off a piece in solid form might make the taking of BSM on a daily basis easier for those of us who really have a hard time taking the stuff in liquid form.

Is there any reason why the BSM might prove a less effective trojan horse in which to conceal the baking soda than the maple syrup?

Would the nutrients in the BSM be adversely affected by bringing the BSM to a boil in the manner described?

Thanks!

What ever remedy you try, even if it were to kill the fungus, is NOT going to change the nail as it exists. You can only hope that in 4-6 weeks that you start seeing pink at the base of the toenail. Yes, it takes that long! Most people stop way short with their treatments.

Baking Soda

I had the horrid nail fungus many years ago and took Lamasil to clear it up. When my father failed to do the same, the fungus returned years later, both pinky toenails now fully infected. Without the money for the medicine and the will to again risk its side-effects, I lived with it. 11 days ago, I adopted a baking soda regimine for other reasons (cancer preventative). Today, my right pinky nail simply fell off when I was drying after my morning shower. Beneath, a new nail - a perfect nail - was found growing in. Nothing else in my diet or lifestyle has changed other than the baking soda addition to my routine. Most Americans' lifestyles and diets leave our bodies too acidic for good health. Baking soda balances the bodies Ph, creating a more alkaline system. I mix 1 teaspoon in a glass of water at bedtime. Ideally, it's recommended taken in the morning with no food or drink for 1 hour before or after; however, as I'm hypoglycemic, I have to have my Coca-Cola (others have coffee) first thing each morning, so I don't drop dead. Regardless, I've noticed a number of improvements since adopting the baking soda routine (which is terribly easy to do - quick and simple). I'm sleeping better, my skin is clearing up, and, lo and behold, my toenail fungus is obviously dead... in eleven days!!! [Insert delighted giggle here] I couldn't believe it when I discovered the old infected nail barely holding on and falling away with the first touch and a shiny new healthy nail beneath (even if it is small yet). Now, I'm watching the still-infected nail on the left, and yes, it's got a line of "disconnection" appearing. I recommend giving the baking soda a try and do so for more reasons than defeated nail fungus. Go ahead, google "baking soda" and see how much you discover. In some European country (think it was Italy or Germany), a doctor is actually curing cancer with baking soda therapy, even in serious cases where changing the bodies Ph to one more alkaline is making all other treatments (as chemo) doubly effective. Cancer cells cannot thrive or spread in an alkaline environment. And consider this - it's in your kitchen. You cook with it. You eat it. It's non-toxic, has no ill side-effects, costs almost nothing, and even whitens teeth. I can't say everyone will have the astounding all-around results I have so quickly encountered, but I'd have to encourage them to give it a shot. It's too easy to implement not to try. That's one teaspoon baking soda stirred into one glass of water, once a day, preferably in the morning (but it doesn't seem to matter), with no food or drink for an hour before or after. Good luck.

I have a question about the baking powder treatment. I've read on another site, to only take baking powder for 3 weeks or it will change the ph or alkalinity (I can't remember which), of your body to much and cause other problems. Hopefully the original poster will respond. How often and how long have you been drinking the Baking Powder water mixture? Also confused about the ACV treatment. It seems some people drink it as well as applying topically? Is it safe to drink ACV, and how much per day?

EC: Note: Remedy is baking soda, not baking powder ...

What?! You're taking alkaline water to prevent cancer - but you drink Coca-Cola daily???

Coke causes major diseases, possibly even cancer. Please research, you need to drink something different (orange juice?) for your hypo-glycemia.

Thank you. I'm going to try it myself and I'll have my mother try it. She's a cancer (non-curable according to western medicine) carrier. I'll be ever so grateful for your insight if the cancer dies.
