Guiafenesin
Posted by Scorpioempress (Ridgecrest, Ca) on 05/03/2011

I have been doing many of the things that are suggested for fibro here on Earthclinic.com, but I am wondering if guiafenesin has been tried by anyone here. According to the guiafenesin theory, FM is a genetic disease, not a flouride poisoning. I was also wondering if taking guiafenesin and boron at the same time would be counter productive or even bad. The guiafenesin theory does not address the high need for Mg by fibromyalgics, or other minerals. The fluoride theory actually makes more sense... Less holes. But, the guiafenesin folks say it works. Any thoughts? Oh, and do you have any idea how long you are supposed to take it??

Hello, I am very interested in whatever you find out about Lysine. It is one of my favorite meds to recommend to people and family. I have used it several times myself for colds and flu and have had excellent succes. I belive I stayed out of the Hospital because of Lysine. Please continue keeping us updated. L-Lysine
Posted by Wydo (Ventura, Ca, United States) on 04/05/2011

Merryanne the L-Lysine maybe more of a training of the gut to brain axis but then again it might be a cure. I wish that EC would have put this post with remedies. If you have the IBS symptoms you will surely have to treat for candida because it will be there. I also think you cannot ignore EDTA for heavy metals and then of course look above at the post on fluorosis. So if you have done your reading and are taking mag citrate for awhile then consider the L-Lysine if you would like an immediate relief for some of your symptoms then go ahead and start on the L-Lysine now. I am still getting slow improvement on the muscle pain but mentally I feel better and the sex life is better. L-lysine has an anxiolytic action on the serotonin receptors so it helps with the anxiety. I add the L-Glutamine with it to help with the gut and make your first dose first thing in the morning. Both should be powders and you can find them on ebay. I would love to hear from you with your response. I think that one important aspect of Earth Clinic is the responses.

Miracle Mineral Solution

I have found much success in taking Miracle Mineral solution for Fibromyalgia. I am 61 now and started taking it in my mid 50's. I suffered with it for many years. Found relief in just a couple of days. I find hydrogen Peroxide helps with infections like MMS does. My first read through on this site, I went out and purchased baking soda, borax, tea tree oil, hydrogen peroxide, Apple cider vinegar, and castor oil. Find I'm doing very well taking these products for ailments discussed on this site. These remedies are fantastic. I feel blessed. Thank you.

Fibromyalgia Questionnaire & Results

Hi EC,

I was looking at some of the results of your older questionnaires and you had included a question about long-standing viruses. It seems to be missing from current questionnaire.

I have autoimmune, sjogrens, Raynauds and arthristis issues which are worsening. I am also battling shingles and herpes. Many of the older questionaire replies mentioned shingles, epstein Barr, Mono etc. which I think could be a leading cause. Please correct your current questionnaire to include the virus question, or ask about chickenpox and herpes. I think it could be useful info. Thanks, Dot (Sydney)

EC: Thanks for the suggestion, Dot. Can't remember the exact reason why, but we removed that particular question from the fibro questionnaire a couple of years ago. I agree with you, however, and have asked the programmer to add it back into the form.

I was diagnosed with fibro 11 yrs ago, after a year and a half journey thru the medical system (4 doctors later) before I received a final diagnosis. I tried everything and researched the subject extensively when able.

This last year, I have been occassionally researching high dose vit D3 therapy. After moving from NM to OH recently, the change in climates affected me so adversely, I decided to try D3.

In looking back at my medical history, I suffered from SADS growing up and felt I was a good candidate for such therapy, if there was anything to it.

I have to say, having tried everything available on the market over the years, high dose D3 has had a remarkable improvement for me in numerous ways.

1. Better quality and uninterupted sleep cycles.

2. Dramatic reduction in pain

3. Energy is improving

4. Cognitive skills are improving.

(This has only been 2 weeks therapy for me)

I just started ACV and am working on upping my magnesium intake, since many people with fibro report improvement with mag. I will be trying magnesium chloride and mag lactate (for muscle cramps) since my research shows they are the most absorbable forms.

I am taking 70, 000 IUs of D3, 3x's a week, mind you I do this without doctor supervision, however don't let my disillusionment with the medical profession disuade anyone from seeking physicians that are knowledgable in high dose D3 therapy. The research I have read recommends 50, 000 IUs to as much as a 100, 000. 50, 000 IUs had no affect on me. Timing schedules also varied but seems to be consistant in terms of longation of a 6 month time frame due to the fact that D3 can be toxic to some in high doses and some people cannot tolerate high dose D3 either due to gastro intestinal discomfort or diaharrea.

I would be interested to know if anyone else has tried D3 and what results they have had.

Apple Cider Vinegar, Baking Soda, Magnesium

It works wonders! Yesterday I took 5 Advils, and I could barely move my neck 1-2 cm. I could not sleep all night from all the pain. This morning I started taking ACV, BS, and magnesium, and I could feel getting better by the hour. I still cannot believe how much the pain subsided. It is still there, but it is bearable. I drank ACV with water, about 3-4 tbls in a glass of water, and had 3 glasses today. I also bought ACV pills from the health food store. No stomach pain. Aside from FM pain, I also have a hard time digesting carbohydrates. Today, after taking the ACV pill, 20 min before the meal, I noticed a huge difference in how I felt. I did not want to lay down after eating. I know there are many benefits from taking ACV, and I am very excited to feel them.

This is for Roni in Weslaco, TX. Try following a GLUTEN-FREE, CASEIN-FREE diet. I know it sounds impossible, but there are many good food substitutions out there. I'm still working on trying to go casein-free (I'm a dairy food junkie). I was diagnosed in 2000 with type 2 diabetes, and in March 2008 with Systemic Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis. In Sept 2008 I gradually came off Plaquenil, Methotrexate, and Prednisone (I'm NOT making any suggestions here regarding meds... Just telling what I did that personally worked for me).

In April of 2009 I began a gluten free diet (I weighed around 260 at the time). At my heaviest, about five years ago, I weighed 313 lbs. Right now, I have stayed around 165 lbs for about a year by sticking to a gluten free diet, walking, and doing some resistance training. Supposedly, a casein free diet can cure rheumatoid arthritis (from what I've read online). Here is one link I found interesting: http://www.notmilk.com/forum/798.html Returned to the rheumatologist a few months ago and my joints are none the worse than they were two years ago(I think the gluten free diet is to thank for that). Good luck to you, Roni.

I have to say to look at the oil pulling. I also was in agony a couple weeks ago from sugar, flour and yeast, but I quit that and immediately the pains stopped. In what I read of oil pulling, however, I would love to share that you might find some help in there. I prefer the sesame oil and look forward to it each day, sometimes twice a day. I can go for 15 minutes now, working up to that from 10 for the past 11 days.

Coumadin is rat poison.
"According to the Institute of Traditional Medicine website, warfarin has been used as a rodenticide since shortly after World War II. Karl Paul Link at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF), associated with the University of Wisconsin, discovered coumarin, a substance that prevents blood from clotting, which is the basis for both the thinner marketed under the name Coumadin and warfarin. "

Coumadin almost killed my father. He now hemoradges easily and his heart is enlarged. After he was on it a couple of months, he felt sick all the time and bled easily. He asked his doctor about the percentaged and discovered he had a greater chance of hemorrhaging to death on Coumadin then of dying of a stroke without it, so he removed himself. About the same time, he began to produce huge amounts of red blood cells which made his blood very thick. His heart then enlarged because of the thick blood, and he had to have blood removed two or three times a month. I associate the enlarged heart to imbalances created in the bone marrow by the coumadin, but as I said, I am no doctor and there is no proof to substantiate this assumption.

That was about 12 years ago. My father continues to have a gammet of health problems, but he has taken fish oil to thin his blood for a number of years. I take 1000 mg 2 times a day to keep my blood pressure and colestorol down. I am almost 60 and obese, but the doctors are always amazed at my blood reports.

My daughter was in severe pain with fibro for months until she found a mangosteen juice mix that has completely taken away the pain. It is the rind, juice and other purees (a premium brand). She drinks 4 bottles a month, has gone without it and the pain returns. It is expensive but worth it. If she doesn't drink it, the pain returns so she knows it isn't something else she is doing.

Resistant Chronic Fatigue/Fibromyalgia

Helpful news from my doctors office yesterday. I was given info on a retrovirus XMRV showing up in the blood work of those who suffer from CFS and Fibromyalgia. (see link below) The article did not state Fibromyalgia but many who have Fibromyaglia have CFS. My doctor told me in approx. 2 months the blood test should be ready for use. This can be helpful for many who has tried everything with limiting results.

I have a request for help from our posting gurus to help with natural remedies for muting virus. I know BHT has been mention as one. But how much and how often, and are there other remedies?

While researching info for rash I stumbled on the Fibromyalgia questionairre. I haven't been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia but suspect I may have this condition. In November 2007 I had a benign lump removed
from the right breast. At the time I was working an office job 8-5 and packing/cleaning a home in the evenings. I took 2 or 3 days break from the packing after the procedure then back to work. I began to have lower back pain radiating into my legs and attributed it to the increased physical activity and not resting enough. Over the next 5 months I was involved in moving my belongings from the Midwest to Florida and working on the house in Florida, it was very physically demanding. I had surgery for a complete tear in my right rotator cuff, a year later surgery for carpal tunnel in right hand. About 3 months after the rotator surgery I began to experience flu-like pain all over my body and was prescribed a well known medicine for arthritis. It helped but had to be increased eventually. Within a few months the carpal tunnel surfaced and I was prescribed a drug that is most commonly prescribed for Fibromyalgia. The commercials for this drug got my attention, as they address other symptoms I've experienced. It could be a coincidence but the symptoms seemed to start after I had the lump procedure and worsened after the rotator surgery. If I miss taking the arthritis med it's like I have the flu, actually worse, the slightest touch of my skin is excruciating. I want to wean from the second drug because I think it's causing weight gain. I received a lumbar injection yesterday and the Dr. wants me to continue that drug for an undetermined time.

The profiles from the Fibromyalgia questionnaire got my attention with the question about recent surgery. Does there seem to be a connection between surgery and onset of Fibromyalgia? Also I was in the military for eight years, 2 overseas and I can't donate blood due to possible exposure to mad cow disease. I'm 49, I've always been strong and healthy, the last 3 years have taken their toll physically and mentally. I'm a fighter and beginning to feel like a hypochondriac, any advice you can give is welcome.

My research is preliminary though I have experienced a reduction in all over body pain. I was beginning to think that I might have this new silly mutant desease that is now being titled Fibromyalgia. I am a daily reader of this site and was one day reading of aspartame poisioning. I was shocked that my beloved coffeemate creamer contained this new lab created sweetener stuff. I quit adding it to my coffee two weeks ago. Within a day/day and a half my all over body pain had quit.

I checked out this page today and was surprised to see so much pointing to flouride poisioning. I was sure I would see something about these artificial sweeteners causing what is now being diagnosed as Fibromyalgia.

I read of airmen being poisioned in the gulf war of aspartame. What I read was it was linked to pallets of diet sodas shipped to the desert. Being in the desert these cans were exposed to heat. Aspartame and its related biproducts are known to become toxic both in consumption and exposure to heat. Unknowingly they were consumed and that is what made these veterans sick.

http://www.dorway.com/guilford.html
http://www.mercola.com/article/aspartame/gulf_war.htm

Check your diet! The FDA has approved this stuff for use in our food products. OMG!!! We (consumers) are the guinea pigs. Do some research of your own. You don't have to look very hard either.

I generally eat fairly healthy though I love my junk food/fast food as much as the next. I do not like this diet stuff and even turn down sugar free items as I don't like the taste of those artificial sweeteners. I was surprised to find it in my coffee creamer and stopped it immediately. As stated, my pain has been gone for two weeks so far.

I wanted to add to my previous post from last week on Fibromyalgia. I did want to add that I first suspected candida as the culprit to my body pains. I first read of candida and discovered coconut oil around the first of December 09. I read up and experimented with the Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and diagnosed myself with candida as I was experiencing candida die-off symptoms right away upon ingesting the VCO. I backed off and used as a lotion/moisturizer after a shower and under makeup to start with. I backed off again if the die-off symptoms returned. I started taking about a teaspoon daily of VCO internally this past weekend, six weeks later. So far no more die-off symptoms have returned.

At the same time just over two weeks ago I quit drinking the coffee creamer I suspected had this sweetener in it. As stated, my constant all over body pains were gone within 2 days and still have not returned.

My point--before masking symptoms with these drugs, try and find the source. I am only 30 and don't follow history much...but where was Fibromyalgia 50 years ago...even 30 years ago? Take a look at what is in your diet and check out candida symptoms and check yourself out. Modern medicine mainly antibiotics is a big culprit in causing candida from what I have read.

Both aspartame and candida are linked to body pains and a multitude of other side effects. My previous post list some aspartame websites, below are some candida websites.

http://www.holistichelp.net/candida.html
http://www.candidasymptoms.net/

Eliminating candida and as many of these darn toxic artificial sweeteners from my diet I am positive is what has made my symptoms disappear.

Hi - "Google" Serrapaptase and Fibromyalgia.

I have been taking Serrapeptase (a natural enzyme that breaks down fibrin) for a couple of months now. It is good for MANY ailments, not just fibro, and has zero side effects if / when taken with other meds.

I am amazed by it, and plan to take it forever! My fibro is greatly improved and my blood sugar is now normal, (when I was in pre-diabetic numbers! ).

Also supposed to be fantastic for cysts and scar tissue of any type, which was why I first started taking it...

Good luck and good health!

Posted by Katy (Waynesboro, Va) on 10/30/2015

I, too, found that artificial sweeteners were causing fibromyalgia-like symptoms 10+ years ago. For me it was Splenda, the "natural sweetener that is made from sugar." BS. That stuff made me ill, even when aspartame did not. I thought I had "cured" my fibromyalgia---honestly, I thought I was misdiagnosed or that it wasn't a real disease. Now, years later, I am finding myself with the same symptoms despite a pretty clean diet. I definitely steer way clear of artificial sweeteners and try to avoid processed foods. Since my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer, we have also cut out beef, pork, and decreased dairy fat.

All that to say that fibromyalgia is real. For some lucky ones, a change in diet and/or lifestyle could put them in remission for a while but I now know that that is what it was for me---remission. I suspect that I will find some good remedies to treat the symptoms for a better quality of life but I think I've got this stinkin' disease for life :(

Avoid Raw Fish
Posted by Janet (Pasadena, Ca) on 11/18/2009

Jason Uttley's theory about fluoride poisoning causing fibromyalgia really resonates with me. I don't have fibromyalgia per say, but every so often I get a strange sensitivity, burning sensation on the tops of my legs, sometimes on my upper arms. I haven't been able to figure out what triggers this fibro pain except on two occasions. One of those occasions was today. I had seared tuna (raw sushi) on salad for lunch at a restaurant today and an hour later, I had (still have) burning on my left thigh. The other occasion was after I got a deep tissue massage. Both tops of my legs were so sensitive that if I brushed them ever so slightly the pain would be so intense I would scream. The effects lasted over 24 hours. I know raw tuna has mercury, but I don't know about fluoride. Anyone have ideas? I am going to start detoxing with Ted's borax remedy because it seems like one of the best things to remove heavy metals, fluoride and mercury. I thought I would mention this in case it solves part of the fibro mystery for someone.

I know Chlorella supplements and cilantro will detox some metals. Try looking up a recipe for cilantro pesto. Mine is pretty basic, although I don't remember exact measurements. Last two questions from your Fibromyalgia Survey:

Here's my best pain reliever (I avoid the drug store kind.) Saving in the freezer all peach pits, placing just one in a plastic bag and hitting it with a hammer, eating the seed inside when I have pain. Dramatic difference for me.

Also guaifenesin (plain expectorant).

--------

The Merck Manual gives Fibromyalgia etiology as lack of approval from the mother. I've read most fibromyalgiacs strive for approval and thus over-do. You can see how this is related to energy issues. Striving = strife, a sin in the Bible; of course, it doesn't really bring happiness. Add such related questions to your survey to address mind-body links.

You notice how many name stress as a cause in their surveys. Aim to live (and teach the children to live) a competition-free, strife and striving/ambition-free life outside the normal culture of living for commendation (being "cool", better looking, appearing richer, having a more noteworthy job, etc.). Remove yourself from high stress entertainment, unnecessary criticism, importance for importance sake, and "extreme" everything. Let yourself enjoy your own person as you are. Take time to do what _you_ enjoy. Live gently with good common sense routines of mealtime, sleep, work, play, spirituality and rest. When you do _not_ do these things, you are living with fear of not being approved.

Many fibromyalgiacs are addicted to hurry. Hurry makes people feel important. Hurrying gives the "free drugs" (adrenaline) that makes people feel involved in something important.

Unstable Pelvic Girdle Connection
Posted by Fibrodoc (Eureka, California, Usa) on 10/15/2009

in a september 2009 doctor oriented writing a doctor has announced the discovery of the cause of the disease which is the effect of gravity upon an unstable pelvic girdle. This discovery is based upon the medical examination of hundreds of patients documented with the disorder. The cure involves natural therapies, prolotherpy, and advanced methods of physical therapy, ionotophoresis, and a revolutionary sleep system that relieves pelvic subluxation while the person is reclined. The cause is mechanical injury to the low back, often from mundane injuries and pelvic ligamentous laxity secondary to multiple pregnancies. Reported by Dr. Badgley.

EC: This post is a little confusing, but we've figured out from the screen name that the doctor is referring to the cause of fibromyalgia. Sending it to Jason Uttley for response.

Unstable Pelvic Girdle Connection
Posted by Kelsie (Springville, Ut) on 10/18/2009

I'm not certain that just an unstable pelvic girdle could cause all the symptoms of fibromyalgia (such as brain fog and numbness in the arms and hands), but it is definitely a piece to my puzzle. It's also possible that an unstable pelvic girdle is caused by fibro rather than the other way around.

I've been experiencing fibro-like symptoms for 7 years and have also been diagnosed with PCOS, but even when managing PCOS, I have had muscle pains, brain fog, migraines, and extreme fatigue.

During the pregnancy of my first child, I had terrible hip pain that I was told would go away when the baby was born. The pain became worse and was quite debilitating. My lower back and right hip socket would slide around and pop in and out of place. I saw an orthopedic surgeon who X-rayed me and told me nothing was wrong, then I saw a GP who said I had bursitis and gave me a cortisone shot in the hip which helped immensely. He also prescribed physical therapy which I believe strengthened my weakened hip muscles to the point where they could support the other structures and weight of my body normally and took my hip pain away.

Now, I have had a second child 10 months ago and had hip pain during the pregnancy, although not as severe during the pregnancy. Two months ago I started to work out regularly and recently started a jogging program (I am quite a bit overweight). I was able to get up to jogging a mile without stopping faster than I suspected I would, but I'm afraid I am going to have to stop and try a different approach since the hip and back pain, along with the joints sliding in and out of place have returned. I am also experiencing a lot of fatigue and pain up through my back and shoulderblades. I am going to try the hip strengthening exercises again before I try heavy weightlifting or jogging again, and I'll try to come back and report on how much it helps. Like I said above, I am not convinced that my hip problems are the source of all fibromyalgia symptoms. I don't think I was clear on this point in my history so I will say it now: I have had most fibro symptoms for 7 years (some I have had as long as I can remember, but not the debilitating ones like fatigue), but the hip problems only really began just over three years ago during my first full-term pregnancy. I did have some slight weakness in my right hip going back at least 8 years, but it was not noticeable except in a kickboxing class I took.

I am very interested in more information about what you have posted. Do you have a web link or any additional information about this?

I've been reading the posts on fibromylgia and although I've suspected for some time that I have one, these postings have helped me realized perhaps I really have fibromylgia: my symptons are fatigue, achy muscles , excessive thirst, nausea. Ive been experiencing these for years and they seem to get worse over time. recently I've been to the doctor but test results indicate I'm fine (although I'm not).

Anyway, the posts here are helpful. I've one more thing to add though. Recently I tried visualization and imagery - imagining a bright white light over your body, esp. on areas where they ache - the results were quite good. Not 100 % cured but there was a considerable, or for me, great improvement. I also am doing some detoxification and reflexology for this and started to change a few things about my diet.

Guaifeisin, and its herbal form guaicum potentially can help-its thought to help eliminate excess phosphates in the blood. Dr St Armand recommends not using essential oils if using guaifeisin, as it is thought to interfere with the guai working.(more info in elsewhere on the web)

Pain management is excellent, i.e. pacing, so that activity is stopped before the pain increases. (i.e. not continuing doing an activity until the pain increases, which can worsen the pain long term). Then gradually, the actvities can be increases in time etc.

Acupuncture, oesteopathy, energy healing, shamanic healing also help me, but most of these only work fairly short term, and have only worked long term when I did these reguarly e.g. weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

however, the long term benefits may increase if used with the pacing. the shamanic healing, and spirtiual/ energy healing in particular i have yet to try while being able to keep to my pain management program. (I know have a young child!), so I will find out soon (when I finally get enough help again) if these can work long term.

Herbs such as chammomile, scullcap, passionflower can help reduce pain, but only worked for me for a while, before i became tolerant, so just use these sporadically for extra.

Also, meditation/relaxation exercises are wonderful, and can easily be done daily- relaxing the muscles, which reduces pain. (breaking the pain cycle of pain=muscle tension=more pain etc etc)

Also a healthy diet, vegan, sugar free and gluten free, with the more raw foods the better helps so much too.

Tens machine, and acticare help too- as does acupressure, indian head massage etc.
5http helped give me better quality of sleep, which helped too.

I still have had to use mainstream medication, but with this various help, I manage just to only use one mainstream medication (tramadol).

Hello - I am a 49 Year Old Pre-Menopausal Female with fibromyalgia for the past twenty-something years.

They say people with FMS are usually depressed, and if you treat the depression the FMS will get better. I think if the FMS went away I would be GREAT emotionally. I think the depression is a result of feeling like absolute CR@P all of the time. (My Opinion).

That being said - here are the things I have been using and found helpful (not necessarily for Fibro)
Along with a question at the bottom re: a supplement called D-Ribose.

Thanks if you have read this far. Sorry if you are a fellow sufferer of Fibromyalgia - it truly is a misunderstood and lonely syndrome to have. Nobody really understands what you are going through unless they have suffered with it.

I use: (for past 6 months or longer)

Apple Cidar Vinegar and Baking Soda

2 tablespoons ACV with 1/2 teaspoon of Baking Soda / 2x - 3x a day - I find it is excellent for heavy menstrual cycles, somewhat good for energy levels - and not so great at helping the muscle pain of fibro (for me anyway).

VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil) 1 tablespoon 3x day.

It doesn't seem to be helping my muscle pain, but it does boost my energy levels - dramatically. I find it "Jacks me up" - I feel like I am on speed or something when I take it.... Sometimes to the point where my heart feels like it is beating out of my chest. (Hey, at least I am not laying around in bed!).

I use VCO on my face and body every morning after showering also. I have noticed a skin tag on my eyelid is almost gone, which is kind of a miracle to me, because I have had it forever. A spider vein on my calf I have been watching has no change at all. Not so sure if it is helping wrinkles, I don't think so. My hair does seem to be a bit thicker, but I could be imagining that.

Vitamins / Minerals:

Magnesium - 400mg at bed - sleep better with it.

I am Not taking supplemental Calcium after reading what Ted said about it and muscle pain - and wondering if this might be a mistake?

Vitamin D 1000 mg & Vitamin C 1000 mg 2x day.

DIM-Plus (25% Diindolylmethane) 100 mg 1x day - DIM is a phyto nutrient that is getting all kinds of good reviews from studies done - "Google" it to learn more about what it does to balance Estrogen levels in women and men).

My QUESTION:

I am wondering if anyone has tried a supplement called D-Ribose for Fibromyalgia? I just started reading about it after seeing something on TV, and it looks very interesting.

I am thinking about trying it, and would really like to hear first hand accounts what others who have used it think of it, and if it really helped their symptoms - how long did it take to start working if it did, and if they are still using it.

ALSO - If you have any suggestions of any kind to make re other things to try for muscle and joint pain - That would be great. I would love to hear them.

Best,

Carla

Hi Carla,

I'm sorry to hear that you have suffered so much and for so long. I have dealt with lots of physical pain for almost 5 years and through my ongoing journey of trying to find a way to heal myself, I discovered this site. It's been about a year and a half since I've been coming here and have tried many of the remedies that are spoken of. Baking soda, ACV, VCO, oil pulling, H2O2 and each has given me some results. I tried all of them separately to see results they would give. The H2O2 was amazing in that the amount of mucus it rid me of was astounding! Have never been sick since that treatment! (Although I hardly ever get sick anyway) Then, I read about the mini beet protocol back in early Oct. on this site and decided to give it a go. In trying to find more info on it here and all over the net, I came up with nothing. But it led me to amazing juicing sites then onto rawfood sites and then to some of the most amazing people ever! I thought, what do I have to lose? Listening and seeing testimonials from people completely healed from heinous diseases and plagues of all sorts convinced me to give it a go. Within a couple days of juicing my physical pain was gone. I started eating about 90% raw food. Around the holidays it was a bit difficult to maintain that so I backed off some. What that did for me was make me realize just what a huge difference I felt in my body from the combo of juicing and rawfoods. I have lots of posts about the transformation on this site so I hesitate to go on about it. But, I would urge you to learn about detoxing your body. Just yesterday, I posted about an amazing woman that you can google named Donna Gates and learn all about that. Also, listen to Dr. Brian Clement on youtube who is remarkable and has healed thousands through green juice, wheatgrass, sprouts, sea veggies and rawfoods at his institute. I can't afford to go to his place but I can certainly listen to his protocols and implement them into my life. I used to be rendered helpless on the couch all afternoon in pain but that is the past now! Now I have my afternoons back to enjoy.

I really do hope this info helps you. It is a lifestyle change for sure, but one that has been so life-changing for me I will not go back. I continue to eat raw and take no dairy, pasta or bread. I think I've had meat about 6 times in the smallest of quantities since Oct.

I am 53 years young and my period ended 5 years ago with no other symptoms that women report when they go into menopause. I added that because I think it's important to know the place a person is at because our bodies are different at different ages and stages of our life.

I wish you the best in finding your wholeness once again. Lisa

Hi Lisa, I always read your postings with interest. I have also tried many of the same remedies, with great success. I usually suffer with spring hay fever and would like to purchase food grade h202 and see if it helps. For some reason, I am very much afraid to try it. I'm wondering if you are still using this protocol - and would greatly appreciate it if you could share your method of using it. If EC feels that this is too personal a request, I would love it if you could just email me. Thank you so much. Lee

Hi Lee,

I just wanted to let you know that I did not use food grade but just went to the local store, Fresh and Easy and bought a bottle. Both my husband and I did it but each differently. He did it the spray method but I just took a q-tip and swabbed it way up in my nose. Now, I'm not telling you to use this method, I'm just telling you what I did and the results were amazing. My oldest daughter, age 23 was having a lot of trouble with her sinuses at the time and did this as well. My husband says to tell you his method gave him "radical results"! I also want to add that I then had to blow my nose continuously for about an hour afterward, it was like I turned on a faucet. Also, to others it appeared I had a cold but they had no idea I was doing this protocol. It was worth it though because I have never been so clear. Again though, I have radically changed my diet since Oct.09 and I am certain it has had profound effects on my health and body, restoring its balance. I hope this helps you. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask and if I can answer them, I will.
Lisa
