Natural Remedies for MRSA: Effective Solutions for Infection Control

Rosemary Essential Oil
Posted by CC (Canada) on 10/25/2020

I tried the tomato paste, the turmeric paste, tea tree oil, oregano oil, nothing helped, I had about 9 or 10 boils, took 3 times 7 days antibiotics (2 different kinds) and used antibiotic cream. The boils only started getting better when I after 3 months researching the web I found a page that had MRSA remedies.

https://joybileefarm.com/mrsa-natural-cure/

From everything on that page I took a chance and decided to tried the activated charcoal poultice and also bought an activated charcoal soap to use while on the shower, this really helped but still the boils didn't go away completely until I used Rosemary Essential Oil.

WOW ... in 24 hours poof !! boils are healed ...

after 3 months finally the boils are gone ...

Do keep in mind that using the proper oral antibiotic also helped, but no change was notice until the rosemary oil was used, also showering with the charcoal soap really made a difference.

My advice is to read all the different cures that site I link it offers you, rotate the oils and herbs until you find the one that really does it for you.

Turmeric and Raw Honey
Posted by Sue (Gold Hill, Or) on 06/19/2020
★★★★★

It is now 2020, and I am healthy and well. I was able to clear up MRSA, using raw honey & turmeric, along with diet changes. Removing sugar & white flour which feeds MRSA.

I find that if I go through any stress, such as moving or a new job, it starts to surface. So I immediately get strict and stick to a paleo diet.

I start alkalizing, using 1T. Lime or lemon juice in water, with 1/2 tsp. Baking soda, twice a day. It taste like a sparkling water.

There have been times, that the MRSA is in my nose. I discovered a silver cream, that is used on wounds, that I put on a q-tip And apply it in my nostril. It clears up in just a few days. I have used this same silver cream on MRSA sores, and it also works really well, as well as the RAW HONEY & TURMERIC paste.

I can say with confidence, that I cured myself, and I am enjoying life. MRSA is everywhere on shopping carts, on many surfaces, it is important to get your immune system strong again.

On open sores, it is important to cover with a bandage and seal around it, using silver cream or raw honey & turmeric paste.

Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation
Posted by Robert Henry (Ten Mile, Tn) on 12/12/2018

SETH,,,,,,, we do UBI instead of flu shots. This year we got our Integrative doctor to mix our blood with H202 and he was amazed how red our blood turned. Sad that us Rednecks have to teach our doctors. We read and they don't.

Right now I have no clue if my Cardiologist will do my EECP or not. It will be off label and subject him to an FDA audit. He is spooked as all doctors are. I understand, but we are a sick, corrupt nation. It's only about $$$$$$$.

Ultraviolet blood irradiation has been around for about 100 years but fell by the wayside when antibiotics came around. Naturopaths still use it in the U,S. My naturopath said it would cure me in a few treatments but I have some puss that needs clearing up, so it's taking longer. I do feel a million times better when I go in. I was going to wait to post this until I was cured but decided to post.

Natto powder is made by fermenting boiled soybeans with Bacillus subtilis. It's proven to kill MRSA. the antibiotic bacitracin is synthesized from the chemical it produces. It's working great for me. I'm taking a half teaspoon per dose. Look it up. They've used it on mice.

MRSA CURED | INGREDIENTS:

* 3% Hydrogen Peroxide (in a spritz bottle)

* Nano Silver Gel

* Antibiotic Cream

* Colloidal Silver Soap

* Baking Soda

* Activated Charcoal Capsals

* Coconut Oil

* Manuka Honey

* Silver Dressing / Bandage

* Cool Mist Vaporizer

DIRECTIONS: Use at least 3 times daily, morning and evening especially, prior to washing or showering affected area:

A. MRSA AREA WASHING & SHOWERING:

Stand in shower:

1) Generously spritz MRSA area with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide ("HP") rubbing it into site.

2) Let HP sit and bubble on MRSA site until almost dry.*

3) Take a small towel and vigorously rub MRSA site gently scrubbing old flaky skin off.*

4) Start shower or wash.

5) Use Colloidal Silver Soap and begin washing area.

a. Use a second Colloidal Silver Soap or silver gel soap and wash for non-MRSA areas all over.

b. Scrub and polish with baking soda.

c. Rinse off. Exit shower.

6) Take 1 clean towel pat dry MRSA site.

7) Spritz site with HP - rub and scrub MRSA area with towel again, gently exfoliating flaky skin, til dry.

8) Take a 2nd clean towel and pat dry non-MRSA sites.

9) Take Nano Silver Gel (Collodial Silver Gel) and Antibiotic Cream (combine) and rub all over MRSA site.

10) Cover with a (silver or manuka honey) dressing or air dry as needed.

11) Take 1 or 2 Activated Charcoal Capsals before bed

12) If necessary, add a 2 -3 capfuls of HP to Cool Mist Vaporizer and breath in as long as needed or comfortable before bedtime.

I read or work on computer and have my Vaporizer right near my face and nostrils breathing in HP vapors before. I do this for about 15 min to 1 hr. It adds oxygen to the system.

_____________________________________

*This often stings (but not as bad as MRSA). As site cures, stinging will subside. Keep repeating at least 3 times a day as a routine prior to washing and showering. The flaky skin must be removed to not allow MRSA crevices to continue growing and expanding in them. Only use towel once.

Wash in bleach. Keep lots of clean towels on hand for this routine multiple times daily.

Ideally have one towel for MRSA site and a second for non-MRSA site. Do not use MRSA towel on non-MRSA affected areas.

Toss MRSA towels directly into washer with bleach. DO NOT let it touch other surfaces or your skin. Treat it like it has MRSA cooties (cause it does) and it is only fit for the bleach and soap filled washing machine.

All of the ingredients can be bought at Health Food stores like: rainbow.coop, mountainroseherbs.com, starwest-botanicals.com, swansonvitamins.com, nowfoods.com, herbspro.com, sfherb.com, etc.

Turmeric, Coconut Oil, Honey

I used 2 Tablespoons of Turmeric and 5 Tablespoons extra virgin coconut oil and 5 Tablespoons raw honey, a few years ago. I would take it internally and put it directly on the site of infection about 3 or 4 times a day as needed for pain and swelling and then soak in hot baths or hot wash rags for pain and swelling as well.

I read that licorice has a strong inhibitory effect on mrsa and boosts the immune system. The first time I used it I sweated out and started feeling better. After a few days, I'm doing a lot better. I put about an ounce or so of dried root in tea 2 times a day. Also taking homemade milk kefir and kombucha but I need the licorice too or I don't do nearly as well.

Magnesium Oil
Posted by Holland F. (California ) on 07/16/2018

Possible MRSA infection experience. I had a weird bump on my back that I couldn't see. It had originally been a blackhead, which I could feel, but then it changed into a bump that just didn't ever go away, and the skin around it was odd. One day I was pressing on it a lot to try to force it to clean out, and managed to aggravate it so that it swelled up to more than 8" across after maybe 3 days. It was very uncomfortable with any pressure on it, but not "hot". I enlisted my son to try to help me put stuff on it and monitor what it was doing.

I'm describing this as a possible MRSA infection because he showed me some MRSA photos which he found later that he said looked pretty much exactly like what was on my back. I used several things, but the one thing that really started to turn it around was topical magnesium. The first time I used it one night, the next morning the surface felt different, as though the problem was becoming more superficial. Over time, my son and I applied a lot of magnesium and iodine. We tried a few other things in the mix but the most prevalent items were those two. We made a dressing and changed it 2x day.

After a few days, it suddenly drained out a whole bunch of a clear "gel" which had virtually no odor. It had started to drain a bit of this per day during the days before so the whole area gradually diminished, but once this large drain happened, the whole area reduced and healed up rapidly. I was surprised that it was the topical magnesium that was the most effective thing.

So, for what it's worth, I'm passing this on.

Baths With Bleach

Actually, bleach is a base, not an acid, so it makes sense to de-acidify the skin that way. Maybe baking soda is a gentler alternative? Don't know if it would be as effective though. I haven't tried either, but I have some pimple-shaped bumps appearing that I'm afraid might be mrsa.

Kombucha
Posted by Anon (Usa) on 07/06/2018

Fresh turmeric seems to work much better than the powder. Ginger from Hawaii. Consider horseradish, mustard seed powder, vitamin e, and lugol's iodine, too. Horseradish and onion can be mixed generously into coleslaw. Turpentine worked somewhat but only if I took it on an empty stomach (with the teaspoon of sugar). Mostly it made me feel very relaxed and warm and relieved some pain. Colloidal silver is amazing, the brand does seem to make a difference. Cranberries can help w/ co-infections. Papaya is also helpful, for me at least. Kefir. So a smoothie: fresh turmeric, papaya, ginger, cranberries, virgin coconut oil, fresh lemon juice, aloe, a scoop of frozen orange juice, and some water :) Grapefruit. The oxygen/magnesium colon cleansers are very refreshing, too. Make sure you make the kombucha correctly or you may be drinking more alcohol than you intend. Kefir can be made by adding milk to the nearly empty bottle of kefir you buy at the store, place in a warmish place overnight.

Kill it dead.

Turmeric and Manuka Honey
Posted by Jon (New Mexico, United States) on 04/27/2018

Are their other members in your immediate household? Often times reoccurent cases can be traced to other household members, such as children and spouses that can harbor the bacteria and me immune to it and end up unwitingly being dangerous carriers. Infectious Disease expert consult would likely be a good idea for every member of your household. Everyone you frequently come into close contact with reguarly should be looked at closely as being a potential carrier. Also, if you have a cat and have long term MRSA put your cat outside. Pets can be silent carriers, especially cats. Try cleaning your nose out with iso-blu twice a week and taking a bath with 1/4 cup (measured exactly) of bleach added into your bath water. This will help keep the bacteria count down on your skin which will lead to less infections. Also look into how you launder your clothes more carefully. The most important thing to pay attention too is frequent use of hand sanitizer, and changing your bed sheets every 2 days. Every 48 hrs!! This is a must. People with MRSA spend more time in bed, and this is the place most likely to be the cause of re-occuring infections. Bacteria from the bed sheets. 1 single MRSA bacteria cell can multiply into the millions in just 8 hours, this is how fast the bacteria replicate. Change your bed sheets every 48 hours and change your clothes daily, and keep your skin covered as much as possible with a light amount of clothing. Wear long sleeves and pants and keep all of your skin covered, protected and properly moisturized. These tips will help tremendously to cut down on your amount of preventable frequent re-occuring infections.

I believe this to be the absolute truth. I have one of the most severe cases of MRSA/Visa that has ever been found in the U.S. After 6 1/2years of nightmarrish suffering and disfigurement, I am near death from the absolute total destruction of my health due to MRSA. I have tried every remedy and then some. Most all do NOT work (most on this site unfortuantely) and the ones that do are never seemingly enough. Phage terapy is something I am now considering, only I understand you must travel to Russia or the UKRAINE to undergo the specific procedure which is my only barrier currently. If there is anyone who has any specific information about this procedure or who could help please feel free to contact me. I could use a friend, Thanks Jon

Topical Application of Povidone Iodine
Posted by Jon (New Mexico, United States) on 04/26/2018
★★★★★

For a MRSA Boil, Povidone Iodine 10%. Does not in the least burn your skin. It is the #1 way to kill MRSA topically. Of course it will only kill the bacteria topically, but for the surface wound and area nearby it is the best solution. I mix 10% Povidone Iodine w/a couple drops of neem oil and a couple of drops of 91% straight alcohol together for a stronger disinfectant with better skin penetration. It helps control the growth, and will kill the MRSA bacteria topically in less than 15 seconds. I have tested this in a lab and used the formula on myself for years.

Bee propolis, Buckwheat honey for MRSA:

Bee propolis chewed up a bunch of puss I had in my chest and kidney and spleen. huge relief as it had been there for years. I'm taking a tablespoon of the powder twice a day and can really feel it hitting hard. I guess they call it Russian penicillin. I can see why. im a big guy, you might not need this much. plus I started at a lower dose and it was working pretty good.

Buckwheat honey is as strong as manuka honey but a lot cheaper. Also, manuka honey doesn't work for internal infections because stomach acids destroy the antibacterial properties. I get as much honey as I can on a plastic spoon and put it in a cup of tea. 2 or 3 cups of tea twice a day. I feel like a normal person again. Honey and propolis have a synergistic effect too so take them at the same time.

I was reading that boils can be treated with copper. An 18 year old girl invented copper infused pajamas that cure MRSA. MRSA is killed in 90 minutes on a copper surface. I've been experimenting with copper to overcome candida overgrowth. It also fights parasites. Interesting stuff but be careful not to overdo. If you take too much, use zinc to bring it back into balance.

Kombucha

So, I was a bit worse than I thought last time I posted. The kombucha definitely helps a lot but it's not perfect. I started taking colloidal silver. That got me even better. Then I started taking turmeric, 2 tbsp. with pepper and whole milk. Now I feel like 99% better.

Kombucha
Posted by Seth (Morton, Wa) on 02/28/2018

I bought some Bacillus Coagulans Capsules. They do work but not nearly as strong as the Kombucha. Im almost totally better from the kombucha. I had a bunch of sores inside my body with puss in my kidney and chest. its all drained out now. not sure if the kombucha will cure me or if its like kefir and just puts them to sleep. My plan is to use colloidal silver now that they are knocked way down and keep drinking kombucha.

Kefir

Water kefir is so wonderful!

I had recurring staph infections for many years. At first I cured them with urine, and it worked wonders, at first. Then years later I got another infection and the urine wasn't working so well anymore.

I tried so many different remedies, turmeric, garlic, ACV, mushroom tea and tinctures, made my own colloidal silver, as well as many, many other things, including probiotics and sourkraut. I can't believe how much I did and some of it helped, and yet I continued to get worse, I know now it's because of stress. I got cellulitis and then knew that the bacteria was inside my body and I could feel myself getting weaker. Even the naturopath said to take antibiotics but I knew that was not the route that would cure me.
Thank God I found Kim's post on Kefir from 2015, after many hours of reading posts, and ordered some water kefir! The stuff I got on Amazon was ok, but seemed to break down after a month and never reproduced. I got some other grains, and those grains are still reproducing. Once I started drinking the water kefir my wounds finally started to go away, but not completely.

I found an article that said you need to drink 1 liter a day to get the medicinal benefits, so I doubled the amount I was making and sprayed it on my skin, as well as put the "grains" on my wounds, and that helped tremendously! The wounds dried up and were gone in a week!

It's been months and I no longer get an infection when I get a cut, which is such a huge relief!

I learned that in Hawai'i especially, or anywhere with lots of humidity and warmth and therefore lots of harmful bacteria and fungi, it's important to grow water kefir, and all fermentation, in an anaerobic environment, using an airlock lid. I found the pickle pipes to be the easiest, and am going to get the medical grade stainless steel airlock lids soon.

I hope more people find out about water kefir, and how more important replacing beneficial microbes are, rather than just trying to kill off the bad ones. It makes sense because of gut health depends on a diversity and balance of bacteria and fungi. In my opinion it's the first place to start. Lots of nutrients from green smoothies and Chlorella also made a difference I could feel!

Elecampane Extract

I wanted to update. I jumped the gun. My kidney was still hurting. I was feeling so much better I just wasn't paying attention. I increased the dose a number of times. Once I took about 8 oz, equivelant to the Hawaii pharm elecampane extract, ive been making my own though. it drained a lot of pus when I took this much. I could feel pus release and move. also I got nasea, so this is the max I can take. this is a lot of alcohol but the extract was only sitting for 2 weeks. if you let it sit longer it gets stronger. I thought it would be over with soon at this dose but I suspect the mrsa might have become a bit resistant.

Then my fingers started getting numb which im pretty sure was hypoglycemia so I stopped taking it and switched to food grade h2o2. Elecampane has insulin in it so at high doses it's bad for you. I also gained a lot of weight and was hungry all the time. I still think elecampane could work for some people. due to the pus I had built up the infection just keeps coming back. I cant even think about being cured until its all drained. so, bummer but the h202 is working for me.

Baths With Bleach
Posted by Eli (Usa) on 09/14/2017

Bleach bath doesn't help. It dries the skin, and that makes the skin more susceptible to infections. If you read here, you get the idea that much of this MRSA bacteria specifically enjoys itself in a acidic environment. So a bleach bath would just keep your skin at a low pH (acidic) which is really bad to treat these infections.

Hi, I've had Mrsa for years in my kidney. very painfull. recently I stumbled apon a website with an article about elecampane extract being 100% effective against mrsa colonies in tests. So I bought some. I think it's only the extract that works, not the tea. My first dose was a triple dose. I felt a very significant pain relief in my kidney. I knew right then this was going to work. I've since uped my dose to about 24 times the recommended dose. Elecampane is pretty safe. The worst that can happen is nausea and vomiting if you take too much.

I'm taking it 3 times a day. I'm no longer sweating out at night and feel totally strong and healthy. the pain in my kidney is gone. going to keep taking it for a while to be sure. what a relief. Hope this helps people. I read on a forum that elecampane cured someone else too, so it's not just me.

Blue Light Therapy
Posted by Twinkytoze (Malaga Province) on 07/17/2017

Three summers ago I was working in a retirement home and was exposed to a resident with MRSA. I had my first outbreak of boils shortly afterward. I tried every natural remedy on this site with moderate relief. I have to say, I also as a last resort went to the doctor and the emergency room, and the antibiotics they put me on didn't do diddly.

It was when I remembered that people were treating acne with exposure to a specific frequency of blue light that I thought to look up research on whether it worked with MRSA. By golly, yes there was research, and the light killed staph in a petri dish. I thought to myself "Well if it can kill it in a lab, it can kill it on me as well."

I ordered a 415nm blue LED light acne pen from AliBaba and haven't looked back. As soon as the itchy bump forms I will hit it with 12 minutes exposure, and within 48 hours in most cases, the bump subsides. All this without pain, swelling, draining, topical ointments, fuss or muss. Itching subsides within an hour or two in most cases. If it doesn't, I hit it again until it does.

I am currently managing a seasonal outbreak, with new lesions forming every day. I carry the pen with me so I can hit the site as soon as I feel it. For the past two years, what would be a major drama and trauma with ten or twenty of these on my body during bikini weather has been rendered a minor nuisance.

I hope this helps.

Phage Therapy

Phage therapy is the only real way to cure MRSA. Other "remedies" will help to keep the outbreaks under controls, but they will not cure it. There is a large and growing movement among health professionals in the western world to legalize phage therapy, but there is also a lot of resistance because phages can not be patented and patented drugs are part of the business model of western pharmaceutical companies. However, chemical antibiotic therapies stopped working a long time ago and now cause more problems than they solve. It is safe and effective and has been used to treat lots of bacterial infections for almost 100 years. Read about phage therapy. There are many websites that have information.
