My friend was diagnosed as important arteries blocked 50%. Doctors appointed him to insert a stent for the next week. He told the doctor that his horoscope was not good that time frame and dragged another weeks. But the doctor gave him 12 days appointment. Mean time he tried the ACV, Garlic, Ginger, Lemon recipe with 1 table spoon in the morning and one in the afternoon. On the day of operation, the doctors found out that the arteries were only 10% blocked and told him no need to insert the stent. Amazing home remedy.

Question - why are we cooking the fresh garlic juice, lemon juice, ginger, apple cider down to 8 oz. Personally doesn't make any sense, I believe it would be more powerful with the juice extracted and taking 8 tablespoons of the original mixture. When you boil/simmer you are destroying all the natural vitamins, vitamin C and flavonoids are gone. All enzymes are destroyed, the sulphur and the allicin in the garlic? Ginger? Apple cider vinegar?

By juicing we have separated the nutrients out from the pulp excellent! The only thing we are possibly doing in the concentration in concentrating the minerals. If you think we are making a 4 -1 concentration I believe we are wrong, 4-1 concentration means that exact nutritional profile would be the same as the 4 in the1. This I can guarantee is not happening, so many of these nutrients are going to get destroyed by the heat, that's a FACT.

Herbal Companies make extract of ginger, garlic, etc, by first soaking the herb in alcohol or water for a period of time, and then pressing the ingredients out of the herb, some use over 1 million pounds of pressure to make the concentrate. NO HEATING! STORY - Man gets married see his wife cutting the ends off of the pot roast, he asks his wife, why are you cutting the ends off the pot roast? She says with a strong voice, that's the way my mother did it ask her. So the next time the family is together at the holidays he asks his new mother in law why do you cut off the ends of the pot roast? Mother in law say snaps, I don't know ask my mother, so he goes over to the grandmother and tells the story to the grandmother and she laughs and says, the reason I cut off the ends of the pot roast is because I didn't have a pan big enough to cook it in. I think the ingredients will help clean up the arteries and blood pressure, I believe it would be better formula without cooking and consuming 8 tablespoons of the extracted juice. Linus Pauling had Dr Rath spend 15 years researching why people get heart disease, and his answer was Heart Disease is really scurvy of the heart! Vitamin C deficiency, you body can not make 1 drop of vitamin C, we no longer have in our body's the enzyme to make vitamin C, the animal kingdom doesn't get heart disease/strokes because they can make their own vitamin C, a 65 lb goat can make 10,000 mg of vitamin C a day, put that goat under stress and he can make over 100,000 mg. Yo and I can't make a drop. Sharks don't get cancer, sharks product over 400,000 mg of vitamin C, in fact if you did a tissue sample of a shark you can't tell the age from a young shark or an old shark, Incrediable! Cooking the Lemon juice has destroyed the vitamin C. What is left I don't have the time/money to have the concentrate analyzed.

QUESTION IS WHAT AM I missing in the cooking of these ingredients???????

I have been suffering from angina and shortness of breadth for more than three years. Upon advice from my cardiologist, I went for an angiogram three months ago and found 7 of my arteries were blocked, 2 at 90%, the rest were between 40 and 80%. A stent was immediately inserted on the artery with 90% blockage, and I was asked to go back for another angioplasty in two weeks time. I hesitated as I dislike the invasive operation and I wanted to have a more conservative approach to my heart problems.

My son suggested I should try the concoction of garlic, ginger, lemon and apple cider vinegar juice.

I did try for about 6 weeks and then one day I suddenly found myself have a very uncomfortable chest pain, and I was very much alarmed because of my heart history. I asked to be sent to the Emergency at Sunny Brook, a reputable research hospital, right away. In view of my recent record the doctor on duty scheduled me to have angioplasty the following morning, and immediately gave me a series of tests. The next morning, the cardiologist in charge studied results of my tests and could not found anything wrong with my heart but he could not take my case lightly in view of the record of blockages.

He then decided to give me further tests, including the Echo Stress Test. And again everything was found to be in excellent health and I was discharged in the evening. The cardiologist believed my chest pain was due to indigestion. I have no proof that my blockages were cleared since the doctor saw there was no need to give me an angiogram.

But I do believe it is the concoction that brings me back my heart health. I strongly suggest that anyone with a heart problem should try this remarkable concoction.

SPECIAL PROBIOTICS F0R CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE.

Cardiovascular Disease is caused by a built-up of fatty calcium deposits on the walls of the arteries around the heart (Coronary arteries). There is a video available in the net titled “Vitamin K2: What is it? Can it remove your plaque? “. This video is by Dr. Brewer. According to this video, Vitamin K2 guides calcium in the blood to its final destination: bone and teeth. When there is a deficiency of Vitamin K2 in the body, calcium will deposit in the wrong areas like coronary arteries, lung, kidney, etc. Chemical name for Vitamin K2 is Menaquinones. There is an article available in the net titled “Production of Menaquinones by Lactic Acid Bacteria”. According to this article, probiotic bacterial strain Lactococcus Lactis synthesizes Vitamon K2. This is done in the digestive system from the food we consume. If the count of this probiotic bacteria is very low, the production of Vitamin K2 in the digestive system will be low also. Vitamin K2 deficiency is the main cause of cardiovascular disease.

Regarding cholesterol, there is an article titled “Effects of milk products fermented by B. Longum on blood lipids in rats and healthy adult male volunteers”. According to this article, 32 male volunteers with serum cholesterol from 220 to 280 participated in a study for four week. There was a considerable reduction of total cholesterol, triglycerides and bad cholesterol for the male volunteers who took B. Longum for four week. There is another article titled “Effect of Probiotic Lactobacillus on Lipid Profile”. According to this, there was a significant reduction of bad cholesterol for the people who took L. Plantarum and L. Reuteri. According to another article titled “Effects of Probiotics on Blood Lipid Concentration”, L. Plantarum reduces both triglycerides and bad chlolestrol; L. Achidophilus and B. Lactis reduced bad cholesterol. The following probiotic strains play a role in cardiovascular disease in the order of importance:

1) Lactococcus Lactis 2) B. Longum 3) L. Plantarum 4) L. Reuteri 5) L. Achidophilus and 6) B. Lactis.

Out of this six probiotic strains, Lactococcus Lactis is very important since it is involved in the production of Vitamin K2 which is needed for the calcium metabolism. Since I have cardiovascular disease, I searched in the net for more than one hour to find multi strain probiotics containing Lactococcus Lactis.

I found the following probiotics in alphatical order:

1) CaptainBiotic Probiotic. 2) Digestive Bliss Probiotic. 3) INNATE Vitality Women's probiotic. 4) InnovixLabs Multi Strain Probiotic. 5) NewRhythm Probiotic. 6) Wholesome RAW Probiotic 100 Billion CFU. 7) Terranics Probiotic.

One can do search in the net for any additional probiotics. It is time consuming. Then select a particular probiotic you like most. While selecting probiotics, make sure it contains most of the remaining five probiotic strains. Take one tablet or capsule per day. One can expect good results in about 8 weeks. I am taking one of these probiotics. My calcium blockage is decreasing and I feel great. Only regret I have is that I did not know this treatment earlier. But people who are taking any immune suppressant drug cannot take any probiotics since probiotics will increase immunity level of the body. In my opinion, this is a simple and effective treatment for cardiovascular disease.

I hope the information provided here will be useful.

Best wishes.

Probiotics and Alkalizing Green Drink
Posted by P. Raghavan (Virudhunagar, Tn, India) on 04/11/2017

Re: Probiotics and Alkalizing Green Drink for Heart Disease.

There are a number of articles available in the net on the effects of different probiotic strains on lipid profile. There is an article available in the net titled " Effects of Probiotics on Lipid Profile: A Review " by Aziz Homauouni, et al. This article summarizes various animal and human studies using different strains on lipid profile. If one analyzes the summary, one can come to the conclusion that effective probiotic strain that can reduce total cholesterol, bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides is : B. Longum. There are two other probiotic strains namely L. Reuteri and L. Plantarum and these two probiotic strains can reduce total cholesterol and bad cholesterol.

According to a research paper titled " The Hypocholesterolaemic Effects of Milk Yogurt and Soy-yogurt containing Bifidobacteria in rats fed on Cholesterol-enriched diet " by Abd Ed-gawad, et al. According to this paper, forty eight hypocholesterolaemic rats were used in the study. Twenty four rats were given ordinary yogurt (control group) and the remaining 24 rats were given ordinary yogurt + B. Longum for 35 days. The rats which were fed by B. Longum showed the following results at the end of 35 days:

1) Total Cholesterol reduction = 50.3 %.

2) Triglycerides reduction = 51.2 %.

3) Bad Cholesterol reduction = 56.3 %.

There is another research paper titled " Effects of milk products fermented by B. Longum on blood lipids in rats and healthy adult male volunteers " by Xiao, et al. This study uses 32 male volunteers with serum cholesterol from 220 to 280. The study duration was 4 week. At the end of 4 th week, there was a considerable reduction of total cholesterol, triglycerides and bad cholesterol for the male volunteers who took B. Longum and also their initial total cholesterol levels in the range of 240 to 280. Also, for the volunteers who took B. Longum, there was an increase of 14.5 % of good cholesterol (HDL).

One way B. Longum reduces bad cholesterol and triglycerides is as follows: B. Longum produces Bile Salt Hydrolases (BSH) enzymes. These enzymes will convert bile salt into amino acids and cholic acids. Cholic acids are not soluble in water and they are excreted. Amino acids acids are reabsorbed into intestinal track. Since the production of cholesterol is reduced by the BSH enzyme activity, serum cholesterol will also reduce. Because of this, bad cholesterol and triglycerides levels will come down. Once the bad cholesterol and triglycerides return to normal levels, fatty deposits in the coronary arteries will slowly dissolve.

According to an article titled " Daily doses of a new probiotic reduces 'bad' and total cholesterol by JO, 127 adult patients with high cholesterol participated in a study. They took 200 mg of L. Reuteri per day for 9 weeks. At the end of 9 weeks, the following are the results:

1) Total cholesterol reduction = 9.1 %.

2) Bad cholesterol reduction = 11.6 %.

According to an article titled "Cholesterol - lowering efficacy of L. Plantarum in hypercholesterolaemic adults " by Fuentes, et al, 60 volunteers participated in the study for 12 weeks. Those volunteers who took L. Plantarum and also their initial total cholesterol levels between 251 and 300 showed the following results :

1) Total cholesterol reduction = 17.4 %.

2) Bad cholesterol reduction = 17.6 %.

If one wants to control only bad cholesterol and triglycerides levels, there is no need to take alkalizing green drink. Take one multi strain probiotic capsule 30 minute before breakfast for 60 days and see the results after 60 days.

This thread is based on my understanding of various articles on this subject in the net. Any correction or additions will be appreciated.

Best Wishes

P. Raghavan.

ACV, Garlic, Ginger, Lemon recipe

Severe heart pain that would not go away the whole day. Drank a third of a glass of this juice right away and 3 tablespoons thrice a day after that( the juice was lying around for a year that a thoughtful brother had ordered for me mainly because he knew I had no insurance and had high blood pressure! ) and the pain gradually disappeared in three-four days. Would like to mention that I felt a warm burning but not uncomfortable feeling in the region of the heart while taking this wonderful concoction and pressure dropped from 170/90 to 130/85.

This works!

After a crisis, a tablespoon or two as a preventive would be prudent along with healthy portion controlled eating, 20 minutes of brisk walking(walking ups your master molecule -glutathione! ) and regular visits to a good holistic cardiologist.

Vitamin C, Lysine

I have had broken capillaries on my face and neck since I was in my teens. Recently I read that broken capillaries anywhere on the body could be a sign of heart disease as they show that smaller capillaries in the body are under stress and possibly blocked with plaque. Since I have a family history of heart disease (mother, grandmother, grandfather and two great aunts) I started taking 6 grams of vitamin c and 3 grams of lysine daily. This is the basic Pauling protocol for the prevention of arteriosclerosis. It has been three weeks since I started taking this and the thread veins on my face and down near my ankles have nearly disappeared. Also my feet are warmer. Both of these supplements can be bought cheaply in bulk powder form, so for anyone who has a family history of heart disease or broken capillaries this may well be worth trying. For the record, I have taken large doses of vitamin c, complete with biovflavanoids and rutin, for years. The vitamin c by itself has never helped. It was only after I added the lysine that they virtually disappeared.

EDTA Chelation

To JOE who is about to have a triple bypass:

run, do not walk to the nearest doctor that does EDTA Chelation. Do two treatments a week for 15 weeks and test again. I got into this 10 years ago when my carotid arteries were over 50% plugged. After 30 EDTA Chelations they were less than 10% plugged.

Wish you well.

Probiotics and Alkalizing Green Drink

Probiotic Capsules and Alkalizing Green Drink For Heart Disease.

Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is usually caused by a build-up of fatty deposits on the walls of the arteries around the heart (coronary arteries). It is caused by high level of bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides in the blood. One of the main reasons for high level of bad cholesterol and triglycerides is the probiotic imbalance in the digestive system. Probiotic imbalance in the digestive system is caused by:

1) Antibiotic / Steroid treatment

2) Stress

3) high fat diet

4) Sedentary life style

5) Smoking

6) Alcohol

7) Refined sugar, etc.

The probiotic strains most often mentioned in the research papers for high level of bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides in the blood are the probiotic deficiencies of :

1) Tier I (Critical ) = B. longum, L. Plantarum and L. Reuteri.

2) Tier II ( Useful) = L. Fermentum, L. Casei and L. Achidophilus.

There are multi-strain probiotic capsules containing the above six strains ( including other probiotic strains) available online. One such probiotic capsules in Amazon.com is :

ULTRA-30 Probiotics - 18 strains - 60 capsule.

It cost about US Dollar 28.

One can follow the following protocal for the treatment of coronary heart heart disease:

1) Take one probiotic capsules containing the six probiotic strains in the morning 30 minutes before breakfast for 60 days.

2) If there are damaged cells in the heart (due to heart attach), coronary arteries ( due to fatty deposits ), and other parts of the body, take alkalizing green drink 30 minutes before dinner for 60 days.

It has to be prepared by taking chlorophyll-rich foods like spinach, cilantro, parsley, wheatgrass, etc. and add half cup of water. Extract green juice and then add 2 teaspoon of Apple cider vinegar, lemon juice from one lemon and pinch of sea salt. Apple cider vinegar and lemon juice will keep the body alkaline. Chlorophyll will repair the damaged cells under alkaline cellular environment.

After 60 days, if the bad cholesterol and triglycerides return to normal levels, you are cured. But one has to follow the protocol two days in a week for maintenance. Once the bad cholesterol and triglycerides returned to normal levels, the fatty deposits in the coronary arteries may start to dissolve.

If there is no improvement in the levels of bad cholesterol and triglycerides after 60 days, the cause of coronary heart disease is other than probiotic imbalance. It may be due to:

1) Enzyme deficiency

2) Coenzyme deficiency,

3) Genetics, etc.

Best wishes,

P. Raghavan.

Probiotics

I read many research papers on the use of probiotics for the treatment of Cardiovascular Disease. From these papers, one can come to a conclusion that the following five probiotics in our digestive system mostly determine the bad cholesterol (LDL) level, triglycerides (TG) level and good cholesterol (HDL) level in our blood. They are:

1) Tier I (critical) - B. Longum

2) Tier II ( useful) - L. Plantarum, L. Reuteri, L. Achidophilus and L. Fermentum.

If these five probiotics are in the correct normal levels in our digestive system, we will not get cardiovascular disease. In this, B. longum plays a critical and important role. If some of these five probiotics are well below normal levels, one may get cardiovascular disease and the bad cholesterol, triglycerides, and / or good cholesterol may go to abnormal levels. Also, plaque will start depositing in the arteries.

Milk Kefir contains all these five probiotics. For treating cardiovascular disease, one can take one half cup of home made milk Kefir in the morning on empty stomach for 3 months. To get better results, one can also take B. Longum rich foods or tonic in the evening as follows:

1) 15 cc of Ayurvedic fermented tonic - Hridhayasanthi. or

2) one fourth cup of fermented cabbage.

After this probiotic treatment, bad cholesterol, triglycerides, and good cholesterol will come to correct required levels and plaque in the arteries will start dissolving.

After three months period, one can continue this treatment 2 or 3 days per week until the plaque in the arteries is sufficiently dissolved. This treatment is working very well for me. Others can try this treatment and report the results.

Best wishes, P. Raghavan.

To add to the suggestions on "heart health" I see something missing that has been in the alternative arena for many years.

The "whole foods" theory that emerged in the 1950s was that the wave of heart disease which began rapidly accelerating after the Second World War came about because of the refining of flour, especially wheat, in order to give it shelf life. That theory was that the natural vitamin E was being milled out of the wheat and all the grains to provide shelf life. So the germ of the wheat was removed giving us white flour in loaf bread without any of the "germ"; the processed food revolution was on. Of course, refining grains has been an ongoing process especially where the "elite" preferred the lighter flour to the courser flour for thousands of years. The difference was that there was a wholesale movement to refining flour in most of the western countries in the last 50 years. Butter, was also replaced by hydrogenated oil which was another factor that damaged the arteries. As the arteries were damages there was no E circulating to stop the oxydizing process which produced blockages. Also without the E, oxygen was not being transported properly to the muscles (heart/legs) endangering the essential ability to function.

The first medical doctors who asserted the causation of heart and circulatory diseases was this refining of flour were the Canadian Medical Doctors, brothers, the Shutes. They made the assertion that the refinging of flour was depleting the basic source of E out of the bread and in time that depletion which was central to circulatory and heart health was causing a sharp increase in disease. So they propelled the consumption of supplimental E (natural and not synthetic). And of course, consume as much whole grain as you can versus eating refined white refined foods. Most all E comes from our breads.

My formula is:

1, 000 iu daily of d alpha tocopherol... Vitamin E (work your way up to the 1, 000 slowly, starting with 200 iu and in a month increase to 400 and next month another 200 etc till you get to 1, 000. I have been on this for more than 30 years. I do not take even one prescription drug. There are over 20 benefits from natural E... PLEASE... Natural Vitamin E... D alpha tocopherol and not dl alpha tocopherol which is synthetic. Vit E is a blood thinner when inside the body but helps with clotting when exposed to the air. So if one is on blood thinner, gradually reduce as you increase the E. Asprin is a blood thinner when you use daily, so cut down on the asprin as the E is being used.

- 500 mg of the herb hawthorne
- 500 mg of CoQ 10
- 1,000 mg of Arginine
- 500 mg of magnesium (and with that you can consume sea salt)
- 1,000 mg of assorted amino acids daily (giving even more arginine)
- a good mineral suppliment
- 500 mg of Calcium AEP (AEP is a wonder worder... This is NOT merely calcium)
- 2 garlic capsules daily (or one live clove daily)

To research each of these simply google search the term and add "benefits" and you will find lots of information. Also this formula helps with circulation problems. Circulation in the legs for instance is helped by using this formula.

Hi Grace,

You can join either or both of two statin Facebook groups that have been around for many years. Both moderators have personal knowledge of statins, and have either suffered damage or a loved one did. They are extremely knowledgeable, (Christopher was a critical care nurse before statins caused him to become unemployable as a nurse, but he is so knowledgeable of statin facts and literature) as are many of the long-term members. (Fran is like a book of knowledge and facts, after losing her husband to statin side effects many years ago).

Most of the members are also very well read about statins. They will all help you. The first group is “Stopped Our Statins” and the other group is “Side Effects of Lipitor, Lovastatin and Other Statin Drugs.”

I first saw a post from Christopher on Earth Clinic and have read his posts and advice for many years since. I found Fran several years before that. A good book on the subject is “The Truth About Statins” by Dr. Barbara Roberts, MD. She was the head of woman's cardiology and has analyzed all the statin studies to date, concluding that no woman has benefited from a statin. Eliminate high sugar and try to minimize inflammation and eat a Mediterranean diet. All the right tests, supplements and more are found on these sites, with comments from thousands of members who have gotten off their statins.

Best wishes.

Apple Cider Vinegar
Posted by Saundra (Cleveland, Oh) on 09/06/2010

I do not know the name of the herb mentioned in the original post but I would like to share my experience. My 48 year old husband had a massive heart attack on 7/6/10. His right coronary artery was 100% blocked. He was life flighted to the hospital and had to be shocked as his heart stopped a total of 7 times. He received a stent, suffered a groin bleed when the balloon was removed, and was finally released from the hospital 10 days later with a prescription for Plavix, Metoprolol, Simvastatin, and Nitro Glycerine tablets. He was also instructed to take asprin daily. One week after release, he collasped on the floor after having what he thought was a bowel movement of all blood, and told me to call 911; he was hemorraging from his rectum. We later learned that this was a side effect from the Plavix. Luckily, he had not begun taking the asprin. He was in intensive care for 2 weeks and received a total of 10 units of blood. After myriad tests (2 endoscopys, 3 colonoscopys, 1 red blood cell tag, and another one that I can't recall), they still could not find (or stop) the source of the bleeding. On more than one occassion, his blood pressure dropped to 77/44; I was literally watching my husband bleed to death!

I came home and went online. What I found was that cayenne pepper stops internal bleeding, regulates blood pressure, and cleans/unclogs arteries, and increases circulation. I also found that ginger root powder stops clots from forming. I forgot to mention that in the midst of everything else, he formed a blood clot in the femoral artery that required a filter (they had trouble stopping the bleeding when the balloon was removed, and as a result he suffered a groin bleed that caused his scrotum to swell to small cabbage size), and had an allergic reaction to one of the statin drugs (Lysinopril)they gave him. He and I agreed that he would receive blood, but no more medication.

I made him a tea of the following and took it to him in a thermos. Within 24 hours, THE BLEEDING STOPPED! He was released from the hospital on 8/6/10 and is doing fine. His first follow up appointment showed that his red blood count had improved and his LDL cholesterol levels are within normal range. He is still not taking any beta blockers, blood thinners, asprin, or ANYTHING other than this tea that I made up:(2) 450 mg capsules Cayenne Pepper; (1) capsule 550 mg Ginger Root; (2) Tbs ACV; (2) Tbs Honey; 6 oz. Hot water. One cup morning and night.

Hope this helps someone. I am so grateful for having the Love of My Life still here with me! Thank you EC for such a wonderful forum and wealth of information.

Adi,

I have very positive experience with this fermented ayurvedic fermented tonic. It has 15 ingredients : raw sugar for fermentation, woodfordia fructicosa flower to start the fermentation process, hot extracts from dates, cardamon, cinnamon, black pepper, nutmegs, grapes, terminalia arjuna tree bark, etc. My feeling is it is reducing my blockage since it brings my bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides to normal levels. I am not sure about blood clots. You can try 2 teaspoon of this tonic per day. It would not hurt you.

Best wishes.
