Earth Clinic Guidelines

Updated April 13, 2022

Earth has been online since 1999, so we'd like to explain how we do things here since we go back a very long time!

Stay on Topic

First and foremost, Earth Clinic is a health site that lists and discusses health remedies that have worked or are working. Keeping posts on topic is essential and helpful for the Earth Clinic community. It makes it easier to keep postings organized and easy to find by the community members and visitors.

Be Clear and Concise

It is imperative that when submitting a post that the writer is as clear as possible with the title, content, and remedy as quickly as possible because people who are looking for treatments for themselves are frequently not feeling well. Or the person they are helping is sick, and they are looking for remedies that they can find quickly. These people need to read and understand the treatment and put it to use for themselves or their family and friends as soon as possible.

Help Our Moderators

Please proof your post for typos and misspellings before submitting a post. Earth Clinic is translated into many languages and it is important that posts be readable.

Keeping it simple in this way will make for a better experience for the entire Earth Clinic Community. Posts that stray too far from the current EC guidelines may not get posted.

Earth Clinic Accounts

If you have not signed up for an account on Earth Clinic, you can still post anonymously to our site. However, you might find it challenging to locate your posts without an account, given that Earth Clinic is a massive database of pages and posts. Please use our form for comments, questions, and feedback to Earth Clinic.

Please note that your email address will NEVER appear in any posts on our site.

The Submission Process

Within 24 hours, your submission will be reviewed by our staff for appropriateness and then posted to the site. The team will assign it to the appropriate page(s) and give it a 1-5 star rating if you did not do so. Staff will also create new pages or content areas as necessary. Many (but not all) posts will be visible in our Recent Posts section.

If you are a registered user, please check your account to determine where we posted your feedback. It will appear in the "My Feedback" section of your account once it has been reviewed and approved by Earth Clinic staff.

Don't Publish Your Email Address

If you add your email address to one of your posts, our moderators will delete it as part of the approval process.

The Approval Process

It can take up to 24 hours to review and post your feedback to the website. Posts that mention products or include links to sites that sell products may be edited or deleted in their entirety.

Contributors who regularly post to Earth Clinic for the past few years are allowed to publish product names. However, we make allowances for hard-to-find remedies and supplements on occasion.

How Your Post is Handled

EC's behind-the-scenes moderators handle every submission before it hits the website. If you haven't done so, a moderator will assign it a 1-5 star rating and shuffle it off into the proper pages, attach it to the right ongoing conversations, or start a new topic or even a new page whenever necessary.

Finding Your Post

Registered Users can log in to their accounts and click the "My Feedback" section to instantly find all of their published posts and links to the specific page where their post is.

If you can't find your post in the Recent Posts section, try using our Search Box. Search under your name and city (i.e.., Donna from Chicago, Steve from Los Angeles).

Health Question for Ted in Bangkok

Sadly, our famous and brilliant health contributor Ted had a stroke at the end of June 2015 and cannot correspond at this time.

Specific Health Questions

Please use our general form if you have a health-related question you would like posted on Earth Clinic. Your question will appear on our Recent Posts page and the referenced ailment page on

Helpful Tip!

If you are asking for advice, please make sure you first read the section for your ailment and try some of the remedies first before submitting your questions. Our regular contributors are much more likely to respond to you if you've read the entire section on your ailment and tried some remedies.

How to Write a Good Post

A few suggestions can help you put together a most helpful submission to the EC community and are more likely to help you get the practical advice you need from other forum participants!

First of all, be clear about what condition you are addressing.

Second, please remember to mention how you went about treating that condition. It's best to offer exact measurements, numbers of doses, and notes on how long you used the treatment.

And lastly, consider including a few pertinent details about your general health, such as your:

  • Age
  • Gender
  • Race/Ethnicity
  • Blood Type
  • General Health/Weight

Note 1: Please remember that your feedback will be read by people from all over the world who are unfamiliar with American slang. Kindly phrase your input so that all may understand!

Note 2: Sarcastic and attacking posts are forbidden on Earth Clinic. If you disagree with a post on the site, be kind in your response.

Note 3: Please do not mention any product or website unless it is a difficult-to-find item (like colorless iodine, borax, etc.) or an interesting or informative article on a website that does not sell products. We want Earth Clinic to remain neutral and have people do their product research. If you mention a product or website URL, be forewarned that we may not publish it.

Note 4: Please no religious references in your remedies feedback/postings.

Earth Clinic wishes you the best in trying any of the remedies suggested on our site, and we look forward to hearing about your results. Still, please consider waiting for a day or so after beginning treatment before you post your comments. Your actual results and experiences will be more beneficial for our online community than notes about your minute-to-minute progress.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Enjoy our website!
