Diarrhea   8  0

Posted by John (Colton, CA) on 02/12/2008

[YEA]  I should've written this earlier, but just been busy... which is a testament to its success.

The only thing I can think of is that I ate some bad (very bad soup) for dinner on January 31st (2008). Later that evening I started having bad diarrhea. Liquid coming out of me from the wrong place. I've had diarrhea before, but this stuff was different. I nearly drank a whole bottle of Pepto (large) and NOTHING changed. I went to the bathroom a lot! I was getting raw... I had completely forgotten about this website.

Last year I came here to cure myself from a kidney stone (lemon - olive oil) and it worked. But re-finding this place was such a pain. I had a bookmark crash in mid January (long story).

I read the testimonies for both the Apple Cider Vinegar and Turmeric. I went with the latter. To be honest I don't like the smell of vinegar. I wouldn't be able to keep that down. I bought my Turmeric from Stater Bros.; McCormic brand for about five bucks.

Okay. I know I messed up here, but be warned. This cocktail is bitter as hell. I actually spit out part of it, which looked like I had vomited on my shirt. Which I suppose isn't too far off. I'm so gald I only had to take this once. I don't want to do this again anytime soon. This happened on February 3rd.

As I wrote, I had been looking at the Apple Cider Vinegar cure too. I ended up messing the measurements. I was suppose to take one teaspool NOT one tablespoon with a warm glass of water. That got me real paranoid.

I felt the results within four hours. I went less and more... firm. By that evening I was back to normal. Let me clear that; I was releasing something that was far solid that didn't require me to to visit the bowel every thirty - forty minutes.

I'm back to my old self now. This stuff works! I'm so glad I re-bookmarked this wonderous place. Dudes you saved my rear, quite literally, especially since that afternoon (Jan 31st) I had a root canal. Believe me, I didn't need that grief. Thanks!

Hi I was just reading your comment about the turmeric and I take turmeric capsules I make at home.. Just a thought over it being in water.. I can't take it in just water like that...

[YEA]  I had the worst case of diarrhea I'd ever experienced, and not sure of the cause -- 48 hours of running to the bathroom every 15 to 30 minutes. I wanted to try a natural cure before resorting to medication, but none of the "cures" I'd read were feasible. I found this site and read the advice to try 1 tsp. of turmeric spice in a glass of warm water (only once a day) and tried it. I could feel my stomach settling down as I slowly downed the drink. For the rest of that evening until the morning I was able to rest and not go to the bathroom at all. In the morning I had some loose stools again but not as bad as they had been. I waited a little while until just before I was set to go on a long drive and then took my 2nd day's dose. That was about 10 hours ago and I haven't had any bowel problems since. I'm still amazed at how effective this was.

[YEA]  I was suffering from such a bad stomach virus for 10 days. I must have been going between 10 and 20 times a day. I was at the end of my rope because immodium and pepto did not help at all. And then i found your website. I can't believe the results of taking 2 doses of turmeric a day have done. I am a believer. i am going to get the apple cider vinegar to take daily to give me all of its wonderful benefits also. I love this website.

[YEA]  1 tsp. of turmeric spice to a glass of warm water once per day for 3 days cured chronic diarrhea and intestinal bleeding. All I can say is THANK-YOU from the bottom of my heart. Had your site not been there, I just don't know how I could go on another day, I thought I was dying.

After the first week of constant diarrhea. I went to see my doctor. We did blood tests and stool culture tests and all results came back negative. He then referred me to a Gastroenterologist who put me on antibiotics for 1 week, these pills did nothing except make matters worse. Then we scheduled a colonoscopy and he said that my colon was all inflamed and scared but could not understand why and that they would need to do more tests. I went on the BRAT diet in the meantime but that did not help either. I was so dehydrated and lost 25 pounds in this ordeal. After almost 8 weeks of constant diarrhea with no end in sight. I started searching on the internet for anything I could find relating to my symptoms. Then I stumbled upon this site and read up on the Turmeric cure. It WORKED!!!

It's a miracle! I have never been seriously ill in my entire life (I'm 46) prior to this. I am on my 4th day AFTER that 3rd glass of Turmeric and it's like it never happened, I am back to my old self!

[YEA]  I've tried everything to stop loose stools and gas. I've taken 1 tsp turmeric in hot water for three days and the gas has been relieved and the stool is formed. Sure glad I ran into this site. Thanks!!

[YEA]  I WAS RECENTLY DIAGNOSED WITH IBD (INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE). THANK THE LORD (LITERALLY), HE LED ME TO THIS WEBSITE. MY DOCTOR PRESCRIBED AN ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PILL AND IT DID NOT WORK OR AT LEAST I DID NOT THINK SO. MY STOMACH KEPT FLARING UP AND I WAS HAVING BOWEL MOVEMENT AFTER BOWEL MOVEMENT. I DRANK SOME TURMERIC TEA----1 TSP OF TURMERIC IN 4 OZ. OF WATER AND I COULD IMMEDIATELY TELL A DIFFERENCE. I HAVE NOT HAD A FLARE UP YET EVEN THOUGH ITS ONLY BEEN 1 DAY, BUT JUST THE IMMEDIATE RELIEF WAS GOOD FOR ME. ONCE AGAIN, THANK GOD FOR THE ADVICE AND WEBSITE.

[YEA]  This post is regarding the use of Turmeric and Coconut milk for the treatment of IBS/Gastritis/Indigestion and other related intestinal problems.

I suffered for nearly 3 weeks with what I believe was gastritis related to IBS and this happens to me periodically throughout the year. It happens when I eat anything tomato based or certain hot spices, along with alcohol, smoking, and lactose.

I began using coconut milk, and coconut water along with turmeric. I drank the coconut water almost constantly. It helped a lot. I began mixing 1/8 tsp (teaspoon) of turmeric with about 4-6 OZ or about 1/2 CUP of warmed organic coconut milk. But don't heat up the coconut milk much. I drank this twice a day for the first couple days and within hours I felt SO MUCH BETTER. The turmeric really helps with inflammation of the stomach lining and the coconut milk just seems to coat and sooth the intestinal tract. I highly recommend this. But it is very important to stay away from problem foods.

Additionally I used about the same mixture and added it to white rice AFTER I cooked it and this helped give me sustenance while I stayed away from problem foods.

[YEA]  I have taken tumeric with a glass of warm milk for heartburn which I used to get often. Almond milk actually works much better and goat milk is the best.

[SIDE EFFECTS]  I tried tumeric as suggested: 1 spoon in a glass of water on empty stomach. I had nothing else but trouble. Pain, upset stomach, heartburn. I did a bit of research and that's exactly what tumeric's side effects are. Good luck!

[YEA]  Recently I went to India. When I returned I started to have diarrhea. I thought it would go away in a day or two but it did not. After five days of misery I went to the CVS and bought keopectate. Didn't work. I tried a vegetable diet, sea salt, apple cider vinegar, nothing worked. Now it's ten days and I'm fifteen pounds lighter, weak, and finding it hard to keep hydrated not to mention that going to the bathroom was now agony. I was ready to go to my doctor/hospital.

My wife who was still in India told me to take Tumeric. There was a big container of it so I mixed a heaping teaspoon in a glass of water and drank it down. Slightly bitter but I liked the taste. The next morning I took another dose and that was it. My stomach settled right down and a day later it was gone. Really amazing.

[YEA]  I had the worst Diarrhea of my life for two days. Pepto Bismol and Kaeopectate were completely ineffective against the problem. Having used Apple Cider Vineagar prior for various cures based off reccomendations on this site with great success I turned to that. I took 2 Tbls for 2x's a day for a day and a half and while it cured my rumbling stomach instantly it did little if anything to cure the Diarrhea.

So I turned to the Turmeric remedy listed here. Went to the store and paid a whole .99 for a little bottle of the spice. Filled up a small glass of water with 1 teaspoon of the spice, stirred it in and took it down. Insta-cured. It stopped the problem from the moment I took it. Keep stirring or sloshing the spice around in the glass when you drink it so it doesn't build up and get really hard to take down during the bottom of the glass.

As a sidenote, my mom got sick with the same symptoms a day later, and again nothing was working. She took the same stuff as I did and again, she was cured instantly.

I'm amazed!

[YEA]  It really works! After trying everything I could get my hands on, and six days of constant diarrhea, I tried the turmeric - and within hours I am back on track. Thanks for saving me the Doctor bills. I used one teaspoon in an 8 oz glass of warm water. Had to hold my nose to get it down but it was worth it.

[YEA]  have the indian spice turmeric on hand for emergencies. Usually IBS has a lot to do with our emotional well-being and suggests something is or many things are stressing us and we need to make changes in ourselves. However becoming perfect can take more than a life time so i recomend turmeric, i swallow half a teaspoonfull when I have a bad case of IBS and in half an hour I am much better. Only thing is as with lots of cures natural and pharmaceutecal, if the IBS keeps coming back eventually the effect of the turmeric or other cure is lessened. what it gives us is a chance to feel better while we try to solve the underlying problems.
