[YEA] I always believed in magic and you proved it today. I have had a big ugly and terribly painful boil on my stomach for a few days. I know this must be because of hair follicle infection as well as fat (yeah yeah, stomach with loads of fat, and hair on it too. hmmm not nice but real). It has been very painful and I am on mission in Nepal of all places. So I googled "boils" this morning to make sure they were not cancerous, and I fall on your website and the turmeric suggestion. Since I do happen to be in Nepal where everyone believes in ayurvedic medicine, I went to the hotel kitchen and asked for turmeric, and drank a full glass of water with a tablespoon of it. Yuck but the waiters were telling me that they drink this with milk to cure their sore throats. I went back to my room and forgot it although I smelled quite bad. 4 hours later, padam, the front of my pants got totally wet with blood and pus. The boil burst open and I burst out laughing. Your remedy WORKS; I thank you so much and will keep this website bookmarked for life.

[YEA] I tried the TURMERIC remedy for boils about 4 days ago, initially with little hope it would work, but in a state of desperation, since this was my THIRD boil in less than 6 weeks, and I had 2 more starting! I went out as soon as I finished reading all of the testimonials on your site, and bought a bottle of Turmeric capsules from my local GNC. That night I took three 500mg caps with dinner, and another 4 capsules before going to bed. (If a teaspoon is good, a tablespoon is better!) The next morning the boil on my stomach, which was a dark purple golf ball radiating excruciating pain the night before, was now a light purple golf ball that was starting to drain, and the pain had gone down by 80 to 90%!
In addition, one of the new boils that was just starting, (a tiny painful pimple,) started to heal, and the other one, slightly larger, while it didn't go away, it stopped growing, and with 72 hours it too drained (really like a normal pimple, only thicker discharge and more painful.)
It's now been about 4 days, and while the large boil is still draining (the core came out yesterday) and is still very tender, it is healing and no other boils are starting.
BUT! The big BONUS is this: The arthritis in my shoulder that I've been suffering with for the last year, is gone, and even more exciting, I have been dealing with Heal Spurs (Plantar Fasciitis) for about 2 years, and have been suffering TREMENDOUS pain in my foot, every day, all day.
Within 24 hours of taking the Turmeric, my feet have COMPLETELY stopped hurting!!!I plan to continue taking at least one capsule a day indefinitely as a preventative for recurring boils, and as an apparent remedy for my Heal Spurs!!! The real miracle here is that I don't even believe in natural remedies! Thanks so much for the great advice!!!

[YEA] Turmeric is undoubtedly one of the aces in ayurvedic medicine. I've seen my grandmother & then mother using turmeric for variety of skin problems & wounds, trust me it does work immaterial of what this modern day medicine claims. For those who find ingesting turmeric really difficult can boil a spoonful of turmeric in a glass of milk (sugar to taste) and drink it. It tastes great, try it!

[YEA] Turmeric cure for bunion pain. Rub dried turmeric spice directly on the bunion for relief. You can also take turmeric pills internally to reduce inflammation but I have not tried that yet. It is a bit messy to rub it on so I do it over the bathroom sink and use a plastic glove so that my hand does not turn yellow. I need to reapply every few days to keep the pain away. It is an easy remedy. You can buy Turmeric cheaply in bulk at the health food stores or in the spice aisle of the grocery store.Posted by Amandav (Mastic Beach, Ny Usa) on 09/15/2011
Any additives that you find in encapsulated herbals is inevitably going to be a "flow agent", or "packing agent". The flow agents allow the herb to travel through a hopper and into the capsules during the manufacturing process. It also helps the machine in that the parts do not get clogged up as much. The packing agents are for powders that are too slick - where they just fall all over and cannot be controlled. By adding rice or maltodextrin, the powder gets stickier and will pack into the capsules much more readily.
All manufacturers/encapsulators must follow strict FDA guidelines. Any additive must be at a very low percentage - so much so that a person's body will not exhibit side effects. These ingredients are listed as "inactive" so that persons with known allergies can avoid them.

[YEA] Turmeric is very amazing. I have been using it as an antifungal and antibacterial for awhile now, due to my overgrowth of candida and overgrowth of bacteria. I am a male, 27 years old, so it is common in males as well.
In the morning, followed by a warm glass of lemon or lime water, warm a glass small glass of coconut milk, with out sugar, and add a teaspoon of organic coconut oil (virgin). Mix well. Grind up organic peppercorns, black, to a fine powder ( I use a mortar to sqeeze the oils better). Mix in a teaspoon of this pepper to the milk. Add one teaspoon of organic turmeric. Milk VERY well. Add a half teaspoon of organic clove power. Drink fast, and stir while drinking to get all of the pepper down.
Drink this TWICE daily. Before breakfast, and after dinner.Replied by Dustin

[SIDE EFFECTS] Turmeric for Chronic Condition:
Hi I have on going health conditions for 14 years mostly chronic fatigue. Pain which seems to have spread from lower right hand bowel area burning into lower back. Now in my liver and scan has suggested that their are noncancerous tumors, though I don't think they are tumors as they are painful wondering if they are abscess, may by some kind of infection that has spread. I don't know though I am wondering if it may be some kind of autoimmune like lupus because I now have burning in hands and knees.
Anyway the turmeric seemed like it would be good as many of the symptoms I have seem to be relieved by it. However I took it for a week and my symptoms seem to have got worse to the point that I have now stopped it. In the first few days I developed a cough and it hurt the painful bit in my liver when I coughed. I don't know if I should try it again but just take a really small amount.
Any advise would be welcomed. Moonie64Replied by Om
