[YEA] 04/23/2008: Carol from Saint Peter, MN-USA: "I have huge fibroids, I'm now taking MILK THISTLE, and it seems to be helping my liver detoxify my system.
I've heard that for bleeding you can use CINNAMON. It goes take 1 teaspoon when it occurs, then wait a half and hour (30 min), then if not stopped take more. I have not tried it (luckily, my fibroids do not bleed) but it might help others.
NOTE: Dosage maybe 1 tablespoon but I'm not sure. (the lady I talked with was not too clear.) So to be safe take lower dose.
I've been reading and it said that estrogen was linked with copper. So the more estrogen you have in your system the more copper and the less zinc. the more copper the less the liver can work to detoxify the copper and the estrogen out of system. Too much copper gives you fatigue and like aluminum is support to build up in the brain giving you a sluggish brain.
The girl who was on birth-control pills is probably putting more estrogen in her system than she needs. Also she should stop eating liver or any organ meat as it has a lot of copper in it. I've heard that women need magnesium and zinc to stop the fibroid from growing. BSM has trace elements of zinc and it certainly has a lot of magnesium. The potassoum and calcium cannot hurt either."
Replies11/08/2009: Carol from Weston, Fl replies: "Hi. This is Carol. I posted just recently on 11/02/09 about my situation. To sum up, I have a huge uterine fibroid (9.4 cm in diameter, large grapefruit) and ever increasing terrible premenstrual and menstrual cycles with long periods, blood clotting, cramping, and very sore breasts--all of which make my life very difficult for that time of the month every month..... Well, although it is early in my protocol/changes and I have not done everything I plan to do (only things so far I have done are BSM, ACV, and Maca daily), I want to report the following improvements already: My period in the past years has alway been preceded by very sore/tender/heavy breasts lasting for anywhere from 3-8 days before my period starts. However, this month, my period started today and my breasts are not and have not been the least bit sore/heavy/or tender. They feel perfectly normal. That alone is great. Also, my period started a few hours ago. Usually I would have cramping for several hours before the period started, but this time I just got some very light cramping after the period started....So anyway, I am already starting to see some improvements, which I correlate with the Unsulphured Black Strap Molasses and the Apple Cider--and possibly the Maca (herb to balance hormones)--as those are the only changes I have made so far. Well anyway, I will post again with an update as this hopefully continues to work. My overall plan is to deal with symptom control with BSM and ACV, but to also aid in shrinking the fibroid use enzymes and Nattokinase, while to balance hormones use Indole-3Carbinol and Maca. Thanks for this great site that has given me hope!"
11/09/2009: Carla from Seattle, Usa replies: "Hi Carol - I too have fibroids and cysts, along with the horrible bleeding and cramping. The acv works miracles for heavy bleeding. When I have my period I drink it all day long.
One thing to research - look up "DIM" (it stands for a very long word that I can't type) on the internet...(go to a reseach site, not a site trying to sell you DIM!) DIM is amazing. I have been taking one capsule every night for over 6 months now - and will not go without it again. DIM converts bad estrogens (there are three types) into good estrogens. Too hard for me to explain - but well worth learning about if you have the time to search it!
Best to you - hang in there!"
EC: DIM is an acronym for 3,3'-Diindolylmethane
"3,3'-Diindolylmethane or DIM is an anticarcinogen compound derived from the digestion of indole-3-carbinol, found in Brassica vegetables such as broccoli and cauliflower.[citation needed] The reputation of Brassica vegetables as medicinal plants rests in part on the activities of diindolylmethane."
11/22/2009: Carol from Weston, Fl replies: "Hi. This is Carol from Weston. I posted a few weeks ago. In a nutshell, I have a large (grapefruit size) uterine fibroid with heavy prolonged bleeding (lasts about 2 weeks each month), terrible cramps for the first week, and tremendous blood clotting with the periods.... About 3 weeks ago, I started taking BSM, ACV and a variety of enzymes to help shrink the fibroid and reduct these symptoms. I am currently having my monthly period. Last month (before the protocol) I bled for 15 days. This month I am on Day 14 and still bleeding. The level of bleeding and clotting and length of period has not improved so far, as compared to the previous menstrual cycle. The bloating was just as bad as well--even worse maybe. However, on the positive side, my cramps were much lighter, I did not have to take nearly as much pain killers for cramps, and my breasts were not tender this cycle. So anyway, I am going to continue this protocol for another month or two and if I haven't had some more notable symptom improvement, I think I am going to go for the myomectomy or at least another measurement of the fibroid to see if the size has changed."
11/23/2009: Maitai from Tampa, Florida replies: "Dear Carol, can you plz write me at maitaz@yahoo.com

[YEA] 04/02/2008: Kyra Jones from Los Angeles, CA, USA: "Hi, everyone
This is what I did, and it really SAVED MY LIFE, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD
I checked out natural anti-inflammatories, and this is what I now do.
IT HAS CUT MY BLEEDING IN HALF, I NO LONGER HAVE CLOTS, OR GUSHING BLOOD, AND IT'S ABOUT 2 DAYS SHORTER.
MY HEMOGLOBIN HAS GONE UP ONE POINT IN ONE MONTH
If you are taking medications (ANY MEDICATIONS, INCLUDING BIRTH CONTROL PILLS), please discuss with your doctor any possible interactions with Grape Seed Extract.
Don't take Motrin or Advil, or any other of those types of drugs while taking Grape Seed Extract.
Here is the regimen to do on every day of your period:
These can all be obtained at Whole Foods or the Co-Op or Rainbow Acres or any other natural foods store.
These are ALL natural anti-inflammatories:
1) Grapeseed Extract (a potent natural anti-inflammatory) : Tablets: 90mg grapeseed extract - I took 2 x 90mg tablets three times a day, with meals, which works out to 540mg / day
(the recommended dosage is half that, but this is what worked. If you have concerns about doubling the recommended dosage of grapeseed extract, speak to your doctor or do your own indepth research)
Please make sure to feel okay with the dosage you will take of Grape Seed Extract.'I experienced no side effects and this is what worked miracles for me. But if you are on any other medication, speak to your doctor before taking Grape Seed Extract, because if you are on Coumadin, or other blood thinners it could increase bleeding if you have surgery, etc.
The liver also uses certain enzymes to break down certain drugs and if you take Grape Seed Extract and another medication that use the same liver enzymes to break down, it can result in a higher level of the medication in your blood.
2) Lakewood Organic Pomegranate Juice (one x 1QT bottle every two days, drink throughout the day)
This is mixed so it's not bitter.
I also bought pure pomegranate juice and mixed that with the Lakewood brand, so as to get more pomegranate concentration
3) Organic Ginger Aid Ginger Tea (Traditional Medicinals Herbal Dietary Supplement Brand, Caffeine Free) - 3 or more cups throughout the day.
Don't reuse same teabag, keep ginger concentration high.
4) Turmeric Powder (pure powder) - 1 tablespoon sprinkled over a mouthful (it doesn't taste that great at that concentration, so I just put it over one bite of my meal and ate it quickly) DO THIS AT LUNCH TIME, JUST 1X A DAY
5) one tablespoon olive oil sprinkled over the same part of your meal as the turmeric. Basically you want to get a concentrated bite with turmeric and olive oil. DO THIS AT LUNCH TIME, JUST 1 X A DAY
6) During your period, avoid all refined carbohydrates and sugars, which cause the body's inflammatory response to come into play. Just for those days, stick to as pure a diet as possible
7) Don't take any of the above ingredients (1 to 5) at any other time of the month, to keep their effect on your body optimal when you use them once a month.
8) Here is a link to the iron content in foods, so you can incorporate them naturally into your diet so your body can produce the red blood cells and hemoglobin necessary to regain your natural oxygenation levels and your body regain balance.
Iron is necessary for the body to manufacture hemogolobin. Hemogolobin is what the oxygen molecules attach themselves to, and it is responsible for transporting this oxygen throughout the body and releasing it into the cells.
http://www.bchealthguide.org/healthfiles/hfile68d.stm
And that's it!!
Also, STAY AWAY FROM ALCOHOL, AS IT DESTROYS RED BLOOD CELLS (See Google)
THE MASSIVE BLEEDING IS CAUSED BY INFLAMMATION, NOT NECESSARILY THE FIBROID ITSELF.
That's why doctors prescribe NSAIDS (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories) in such high dosages. But they have incredibly dangerous side effects and are themselves very dangerous.
I cannot tell you what this has done to my life. It is truly a miracle, and I beg you to try this regimen.
It has saved my life, because I truly was in great, great danger and distress. Nobody cared, and also the dangers of 800mg of Motrin 3 x a day are so high, that that in itself was a health risk.
Have you ever read the side effects? They include stroke and death. There is a lawsuit currently about Motrin causing blindness in a young girl.
BASICALLY THE POINT IS TO FLOOD YOUR BODY WITH NATURAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORIES THROUGHOUT YOUR PERIOD.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO SUFFER ANYMORE. I COULD ACTUALLY START WEARING TAMPONS AGAIN, WHICH WAS JUST A JOKE BEFORE!!!
I just could not believe it. It was an absolute miracle after four years of actually believing I was going to die.
No one can understand how horrible it is to gasp for breath constantly throughout the day, to have a heart rate of 112 as normal, to have heart palpitations and your body screaming out that something had to help it.
to not be able to walk from your bed to your closet without gasping and hanging on the light fixture and having a racing heart and heart palpitations.
Being so tired that ANYTHING was impossible to do, let alone be active and full of energy.
Oxygen starvation is bad and dangerous for the body and NO DOCTORS GIVE A DAMN!!
WHY DID NO DOCTOR TELL ME ABOUT THE ABOVE REGIMEN? What on earth are they doing for their $150,000 education?"
Replies01/09/2010: Carla from Kingston, Jamaica replies: "I was just confirm as having fibroid at age 39, and hoping to have a child. I am praying that that is still possible. What I have found out is that my period discomfort comes based on the diet I have before the cycle begins.I only eat fish for about three years and my breast and period was doing fine. Now I am eating red meat and drinking milk and my breast is tender, my back ache and my belly tender.
I realized that when I drink the beetroot, carrot and ginger, I do quite well and dont have to take any pain killer. I remember 2 doc telling me to do what works well with my body and now I tend to agree and will defineately taking that root.
I just lean about the molasses and apple cider vineager and will be trying these, both where alreading in my kitchen cabinet. I have tried the combination last night......I slept well. A problem I was having.
I am thankful I live on a tropical island, so fresh fruits and vegetable are easily assessible. I am now going back to nature. I have a vegetable garden that I will certainly be using. I will keep you ladies posted on my progress. Let reclaim our health for 2010."
01/09/2010: Annie from Old Greenwich, Ct replies: "Dear Carla,
I think you may be on to something important about red meat! I normally don't have painful breasts but over the holidays but I ate red meat at a friend's house for dinner (I never eat red meat, but it's what they served) and the next morning I woke up with very sore breast and sharp shooting pains near my armpits. Infected lymph nodes? I couldn't figured out what could have triggered it until your post.
Please keep us informed of your progress. I hope the remedies you are trying help you."
09/05/2010: Chinablack from Hamilton, Nj replies: "Hello Ladies, I agree that Red Meat may be a culprit, because while I have been diagnosed with one 7 cm fibroid, and two 2 cm fibroids, I do not suffer with cramps like everyone else complains of. When I was younger, perhaps I did have a lot of cramps, but I haven't in years because, I usually don't eat dairy (except of chocolate more often then I would like), and I don't eat red meat. I also try to eat a mostly organic diet, as well. God Bless you all. "China""

[YEA] 09/02/2007: Abs from Santa Maria, California: "I have been reading about how people are using Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) and Black Strap Molasses (BSM) to shrink fibroid tumors. I used low fat vegan and raw diet and I am fibroids free. Nutrition does wonders for the body and helps its ability to heal. I started out with a vegetarian and organic lifestyle after getting fed up with allopathic medicine's appproach to the fibroids I had. I progressed to a vegan and organic nutrition and I transitioned to a raw, vegan nutrition and the fibroids are all gone. I also used herbs and spices such as Vitex (chasteberry), red raspberry leaves, astragalus, garlic, ginger, turmeric, dandelion leaves and roots, milk thistle, cramp bark, fenugreek, red clover, and squaw vine in my regimen.
Within the first week of eating a wholly plant-based diet, all my symptoms were gone. I gained a surge in energy and three months later, overcame chronic anemia that had persisted for three years. The tumors started to shrink and my hormones started to balance; I was no longer irritable. I have since been cured of mood swings, PMS, breast tenderness and fibroids. I also had a tumor on my liver that disappeared as well and I lost 38 pounds without any extra effort. I now have energy for brisk walks, bike rides, weights, yoga and pilates. I am now a firm believer in nutrition and herbs as remedies for all kinds of ailments. There are a lot of research about the effectiveness of nutrition and herbs in curing all kinds of ailments. I shocked the doctors who wanted to surgically remove the fibroids and who told me there was no cure. I am tumor free and I thank all the people who share their experiences on the web and I also thank medical doctors who are using nutrition to help their patients. It is true that we are what we eat."
Replies09/12/2008: Mary fm Tampa from Tampa, Florida replies: "Can you share with me to my email at maitaz@yahoo.com on how large your fibroids were. I keep hearing that the BIGGER fibroids can't be healed naturally and it should just get cut out. I have been hiding and giving my doctor all kinds of excuses for the past year now and we finally set a surgery date 10/20. So please give me so hope and tell me if you know what was the largest size of your fibroid and honest to goodness did it go away?
I want to compare to my fibroid and hear anyone having a big fibroid but I need a size to really know that it is possible for me. Write me soon, please. I am so Scared and just don't want to get cut up. Anyone reading this can email me if they have proof it can be done for fibroid over 10cm big. Peace."
08/09/2011: Dee from London, Uk replies: "Hello, pls just like mary, please can you tell me the fruits especially you were taking for the first week and the fruits you avoided as some feed estrogen.. [BETTER BUT NOT CURED] 06/06/2009: Autumn from CA, USA: "Since we are going there...I just as well post what was TREMENDOUS in helping my fibroid symptoms, as well as keeping it from growing. I have a fibroid that is the size of a 4 month pregancy. It use to be the size of a 6 month pregnancy. I used REIKI. Reiki is a form of vibrational energy healing (research it on the net).
Reiki stopped the symptoms of, excessive bleeding, clots, nausea and pain. It stopped my fibroid from growing. Reiki did not remove the fibroid, but stopped the growth and all the symptoms. The fibroid shrank a little. The fibroid went from a 6 month pregnancy to a 4 month pregnancy.
When I told my doctor that I was going to get rid of the tumors using "natural medicine" and the New Age, he respected my decision, and just asked if he could monitor the situation. Of course I agreed to this monitoring. My doctor is impressed with the lack of symptoms, especially since the fibroid was so large in the beginning, and he admitted he is impressed by the lack of symptoms. It has been 4 years, and I have not been able to find anything yet that will finish the job of shrinking it completely. But I will definitely try the remedies recommended on this website."
06/07/2009: Jennifer from Mount Vernon, WA replies: "Hi- could you tell us how long it took to shrink it?and how often you did REIKI? Thanks"

10/30/2012: Linda From Florida from Zolfo Springs, Fl, United States: "My name is linda, im 46 yrs old and have suffered from uterine fibroids for yrs. In the beginning I had very heavy periods and painful, now the last 6 months they last longer but not heavy and no pain. Ive had 2 have 5 blood transfusions, and was told again I need a hystercomy. I have several fibroids, my dr put me on birth control pills to stop my periods but did not inform me the estrogen in the pills makes the fibriods grow. I DONT WANT SURGERY PERIOD. Is there really a natural way to get rid of them? i am currently taken serrapeptase and maca, and just had my period and it lasted 7 days instead of 2 or 3 wks. Im also anemic and taking iron pills. Ive been on serrapeptase for 1 month, I do feel better but im worried im not doing enough to try and get rid of them. Please help, im terrified of surgery. I just had bloodwork done 2 see if im going thru perimenopause, please I need help, anyone?"
Replies10/30/2012: Dliggz from Las Vegas, Nv replies: "hi linda. I too had uterine fibroids that caused me have extremely heavy periods, back and leg pain. I could hardly walk at times and had to literally run to the bathroom if I coughed or laughed. I never wanted to have any surgery at all in life, except the csection to deliver my daughter, so when my doctor told me I could have a hysterectomy, I wasnt receptive at all. I tried all the remedies I could find but the most effective was to have my uterus removed and to keep my ovaries.i will tell you that ws the best choice I have ever made in my life. Is wish I would have made he choice early. I am now forty six as well and grateful I no longer have the pain associated with my fibroids, but I do have the premenstrual symptoms but no actual period. I suggest any woman who is not trying to have any children, and has fibroids to have the surgery. I had my surgery on january twenty first, two thousand and six and that is when my life began.
there is a procedure call uterine fibroid emobilization that can save your uterus and kill the bloodflow to the fibroids whch will irradicate them. if you want something noninvasive as an actual surgery, I would look into that."
10/30/2012: Tina from Houston, Usa replies: "Find an accupuncturist, with chinese herbs you can begin dissolving the fibroids.Google 'pranic healing'. It is an energy based protocol that has a LOT of success getting rid of fibroids. Anyone can go this for you long distance if there is no one in your vicinity.
Look at 'Endoflex' is the oil name. They are therapeutic grade and have incredible results in resolving women's issues.
Also look at this link for successful resolution of fibroids with essential oils. (It is IMPERATIVE to use therapeutic grade essential oils to not harm your body. Only 2% of essential oils on the market are therapeutic grade).
http://tiffanyrowan.com/essentialoils/essential-oils/essential-oils-for-fibroid-pain/
Also google 'Weston Price' Foundation. There are many cases of women consuming high quality fermented cod liver oil which has gotten rid of heavy bleeding, fibroids and the like. This type of cod liver oil has great amounts of Vitamin A which can help your body heal itself.
I have resolved my fibroid issues with a combination of what I shared with you above.
Good luck, Tina"

It has helped me enough to think I can get to menopause now without surgery. I am 51... with many female issues, a large fibroid among them.Dim helps to regulate estrogens. 11/03/2012: Carly from Seattle, Wa - 98051 replies: "Hi - I agree with what Susan said - Make sure you are getting enough magnesium and vitamin D. Also, another thing you might want to read about is lithium orotate (not to be confused with straight up lithium acetate or carbonate, it is a different thing). My husband takes lithium orotate, and after reading about it you might want to try it. We buy his online (vitacost. com) where it is way cheaper than at a regular store.
Here is an excellent research starting point / website about lithium orotate written by Dr. Jonathan Wright of the Tahoma Clinic:

Good luck to you. :-)"
11/03/2012: Bagpuss from London, U.K. replies: "@Linda From Florida from Zolfo Springs, Fl, United StatesHi Linda, You mentioned that you are taking serrapeptase and that your fibroids have shrunk in size but you think this is a doctor error. I don't understand why you would think this as serrapeptase eats non living tissues in the body or in otherwords, serrapeptase is eating away at your fibroids. So, why are you surprised that they have shrunk? Fibroids have, from what I have read, been linked to a possible insufficiency of B vitamins, specifically B6 and B12. You are taking B12. It can be possible that you are not absorbing your B12 as you have mentioned that you are on a low protein diet and the B vitamins need to combine with protein when taken in order to be absorbed and used efficiently by the body. 10/27/2012: Sc from Somewhere, Usa: "Hi. I was recently diagnosed with a fibroid that has grown in the last 3 months to about 13cm-as big as a 6 wk pregnancy i'm told. I suffer from heavy periods--awful--clots, etc. I had a blood tranfusion last month because my hemoglobin was a 6. also had ovarian cyst on each ovary and was but on the Pill. At my last sono the cysts were gone but the fibroid had gotten bigger. Im told that I need a hysterectomy but my doctor was very understanding when I told her I wanted to take a more holistic approach to this. I've read about BSM and ACV and just started these today. I also have read about fermented cod liver oil and vitamin A treatment. I was wondering if I should also be taking vitamin A and if so what kind. In regards to taking the Pill-if fibroids "feed" on estrogen and the Pill contains estrogen or some form of it, shouldn't I come off the Pill? I am interested in whatever suggestions you have. I also need info on what diet I should be following to get rid of the fibroid. thank you."

09/11/2012: Uterine Fibroid: Help from Huntsville, Al: "All, In April 2008, I was told I had three large fibroid tumors on my uterus. At this time, I was only 27yrs single without kids so I wanted to save my uterus for fertility. My OBGYN referred me to a fertility specialist and he recommended I have surgery (abdominal myomectomy) to remove fibroids. I decided to research and find alternate solutions before agreeing to have my body cut on. After researching, I decided to get an opinion from a natural doctor who prescribed SSKI and didn't recommend surgery. The natural doctor showed me research on how SSKI helped dissolve uterine fibroid tumors. I also saw a chiropractor who stated he could help restore my body to its natural state with getting regular adjustments. I decided to try the non-surgical method excluding the adjustments. For over a year I did the Lupron Depo Injections, SSKI, and got colon hydro-therapy (colonics) to shrink/dissolve the fibroids but nothing helped. I was against surgery because I didn't have heavy menstrual cycles nor did I experience pain with the fibroids. However, in August 2009, I had an abdominal myomectomy to remove fibroids. They were so huge it was the second year the doctors could not get to my cervix to perform pap. During the surgical procedure I had six huge fibroids removed from my uterus; three more fibroids than the ultrasound showed the previous year.
Early this year (2012), I started to feel weak and exhausted and wondered if the fibroids had returned. In March/April, I started feeling pain in my stomach area when sleeping in a certain position. In May 2012, I had my annual exam and my OBGYN stated he didn't see any fibroids but I requested an ultrasound for confirmation. The next week, I found out I have three large fibroids and I've been devastated/down since getting the news. I'm very career driven so I still have yet to get married and have kids. I'll be 32yrs old next month and I do not want to have another surgery. I've been trying the ACV and non-sulfur black strap molasses.
During my research this time, the SSKI came up as being beneficial for shrinkage but only for small fibroid tumors. I've been seeing many success stories from those women taking Vitalzym with Serrapeptase. Has anyone been successful using this remedy? If so, where do you buy the Vitalzym? Can I get a prescription from my doctor? Is Serrapeptase inside the Vitalzym or do I need to buy an addition pill? Thanks in advance for any help/knowledge provided to me."
09/01/2012: Sunshine - Timah from Southfield, Mi: "Dear Ted, I emailed you almost a month ago in regards to the fibroid in my vagina. I am 26 and I really dont want to have surgery.
I am taking b-complex, for my liver, without fillers in a capsule form by Garden of Life, magnesium citrate in powder form. I make a seaweed paste, for iodine, to consume from wakame and kumbo I have also recently purchased some bladderwrack capsules that I may take twice a day and I have my miso soup with broccoli and kale. I drink plenty of water and I will have a cup of coconut water with chlorophyll. That is my medical regime. I have also been taking the ACV with sodium bicarbonate and lime with the bicarbonate.
Is there anything in my regime that stands out to you that I should eliminate that would keep the fibroid from being discarded or reabsorbed maybe like the miso?"
08/08/2012: Sunshine from Southfield, Mi: "I am new to the earth clinic site. I searched but I have not seen where anyone on the site has an issue like mine. I am 26, 5'2, 113lbs. Vegan /vegetarian diet (depends on time of year for me) My blood type is O-.
I visited the gyn in April 2010 and was diagnosed with a 2cm fibroid in my vagina, of which I could already feel and she recommended surgery/hysterectomy. It was causing heavy bleeding with clots, I have not had any pains due to it, and I was bleeding as if on my menses twice a month.
I tend to leak a faintly yellowish fluid now which I think is cervical fluid there is no smell and I can't have intercourse due to the fibroid. I saw on the earthclinic site where Ted mentioned using sodium bicarbonate and sodium carbonate. I am wondering if this is the best for me or should I use the Acv with sodium bicarbonate?
Currently, I am taking b-complex without fillers in a capsule form by Garden of Life, magnesium citrate in powder form. I make a seaweed paste to consume from wakame and kumbo I have also recently purchased some bladderwrack capsules that I may take twice a day and I have my miso soup with broccoli and kale. I drink plenty of water and I will have a cup of coconut water with chlorophyll. That is my medical regime. I don't have to take the iron pills since maybe 6 months ago because as you can imagine I had become anemic due to the blood loss and being so small. Is there anything in my regime that stands out to anyone that I should eliminate that would keep the fibroid from being discarded or reabsorbed maybe like the miso?
Also, my fruit smoothies consist of almond and or coconut milk, banana, mango, pineapple, raspberry and peaches I may add a drop of D3 and 1tsp of magnesium citrate.
My juicing consist of carrots, broccoli, green apple, seaweed sometime I may add coconut water for the potassium and I was thinking if I could or should add a pinch of taurine? I asked that because I read where Ted posted about taurine and how it may help the potassium etc go inside tumor.
I would appreciate any guidance on this. Thank you"
Replies08/15/2012: Sunshine from Southfield, Mi, Us replies: "Well, I've had no feed back from this site but I will say I have been taking the ACV and BSM also doing the lime and Baking soda (aluminum free) and I had myperiod which lasted 5 days. I did not have the heavy bleeding and the clots were lessened. My cycle was actually light everyday. I had also made a cinnamon tea out of cinnamon sticks and had it everyday. I really just want this fibroid out of my vagina, not my cervix but in my vagina. I was happy to see how my cycle was normalized back to 5 days. However, I am at the point of wanting to pull this thing out since it has already prolapsed into my vagina trying to be born."
09/13/2012: Crys from Venice, Fl replies: "I've had fibroids since I was 35, I'm now 42... Last October I started bleeding and didn't stop. My period had been irregular before then, I was getting it every other month, and in between, I would experience spotting. In July of last year, I discovered something called Diva Cup, which eliminates the need for using tampons. It may not be for everyone, but I prefer using it over the tampons that are full of ingredients that go into our bodies, as well as leach magnesium out of the body. After bleeding for 8 months, I was beyond frustrated, scared, wondering if life would ever return to normal.I went to a natural health food store in Englewood, FL, and a lady who worked there spent quite a bit of time with me, and she recommended an iodine supplement. She said it would help with the fibroids, my weight eventually and my thyroid, which I never considered having issues with my thyroid but took her advice. I took 2 tablets every morning, and after 3 weeks my bleeding stopped! I took note of the day, and counted forward 4 weeks, to see if I would get a period at that time. Well, sure enough, I did, and it was heavy and I felt pretty crampy, but it lasted about 6 days. So, I counted 4 weeks ahead again, and I got it again, albeit 4 days late. This time, though, it's not heavy or crampy, or clots like I used to have. Nothing else changed in my diet or lifestyle, for me, I simply added iodine and it's changed my life. The two tablets contain 30 mg of iodine, so it definitely matters what kind of dosage is taken. I had been to a gyn who wanted to do a hysterectomy, and had tried progressive cream. The iodine was the magic bullet for me. It isn't cheap, but it's so worth it. Its my first time posting and I wanted to share my experience, hoping it'll help someone else. Thanks be to God!"
09/14/2012: Heather from Leicester replies: "Hi, that's fantastic, well done. Can you give the name of these tablets as they maybe easier to take long term than lugols drops, thanks x"
09/14/2012: Crys from Venice, Fl replies: "Hi there; the tablets I take are made by Terry Naturally, called Thyroid Care. They're a little expensive, but you can also get them online for around $28 for 120 capsules. I'm still amazed the remedy is so simple, for my case at least. The heavy bleeding nonstop for such a long time makes you think it will always be that way; I never thought I'd be back to normal on this side of menopause, but am so grateful life feels normal again:) Those tablets were definitely the cure for me since that's the only thing that changed; I had read, probably on this forum, of the bs molasses, etc, and was kind of dreading going that route, so for me, this is much simpler. My husband and two teenage kids also take two tablets a day now, and its helping with acne, as well as my daughters cycle; it's much lighter and a little shorter. When appropriate, I relate this information to other women, also, the iodine is just good for everyone. I've learned (at the health food store), that your body will grab iodine from anywhere, even if its radiated, and with what happened last year in japan, who knows how much radiation is floating around everywhere. Anyhow, IODINE!!! Works wonders and I'm so glad:))"
11/26/2012: Sunshine from Southfield, Mi, Us replies: "I've been altering my regimine. I been taking bladderwrack powder on a daily basis, while still having my other seaweed, 3xdaily at double doses and the fibroid that has prolapsed into my vagina is noticeably smaller. I've been taking it on an empty stomach. 1000mg on waking, middle of day and before bed. The upped dosage is what seems to be the trick along with taking on an empty stomach. The bladderwrack comes in capsules but I open them to just use the powder in my water. The bottle says 580mg per capsule so I am taking 2 at a time, well actually I have also taken 3 at a time but always on an empty stomach. for my anemia which ahs gotten much better since I dont bleed heavy anymore, I take cocnut water with chlorophyl. I use at least 3ounces of chlorophyl to a cup of cc water. I had noticed that when I waas taking the vinegar and soda I would still be spotty so I stopped using it and the bladderwrack is so much better for me. I hope this helps someone. Get any brand of bladderwrack you want."

I am continuing oil pulling since lat 6 weeks which has helped me with stiff joints and cracked heels so far. Can I get rid of this fibroid by oil pulling? What are other posiible cures for fibroid. 07/18/2012: Blue from Middlesex, London: "Has anyone successfully treated fibroids naturally? Please help as I am not keen on having them surgically removed. My tummy is so big I feel like I am six months pregnant. The Sonographer mentioned the womb being very large with several fibroids. So if anyone has had success in getting rid of them please do share remedies, herbs etc. I was thinking of Chinese herbs or homeopathy but whatever will ease my painful situation, as I have painful crampy periods and chronic right pelvic pain, as well right leg and knee swelling. Thank you all well appreciated."
Replies07/18/2012: Lisa from Thousand Oaks, Ca, Usa replies: "Hi Blue, There is an entire section on fibroids in the ailments section. You can certainly read all the testimonials. Many women have success with apple cider vinegar and blackstrap molasses. I have never had fibroids but would like to suggest that you do try Traditional Chinese medicine. It is an ancient system that treats our bodies as a whole and I have used it for almost 30 years for various issues. I have sent over 30 friends to my acupuncturist and also Chinese herbalist. They have all seen success. If you can find a good TCM doctor I think you will be amazed. I know mine has treated women successfully for this condition. Wishing you the best, Lisa"
07/19/2012: Mrsj from Hawthorne, Ca, Usa replies: "I was diagnosed 3 years ago with "multiple" fibroids and also told I had an enlarged uterus. I had many of the same symptoms as yourself but without the heavy menstrual bleeding. I started taking Serrapeptase and Nattokinase (sic) which are natural enzymes that are reported to dissolve fibrin. Fibrin is what surrounds the fatty part of the tumor. My abdomen became smaller and the pain was reduced dramatically. My last visit for an ultra sound showed fewer fibroids and a normal sized uterus. Look these enzymes up and see if they can work for you."
07/19/2012: Steve from Las Vegas, Nevada replies: "My wife had some success with this issue using Essiac tea, you can google "bulk essiac tea" for the best price. It gets rid of fibroids, cleans the blood and helps normalize the monthly cycle. Has many other health benefits as well."
07/19/2012: Lisa from Manchester, Nh replies: "High dose fish oil. really high, like 5-10 grams a day. also tumeric (with bioprine) 1000mg a day and boswallia as directed on bottle. all strong anti-inflammatories."
07/20/2012: Blue from Middlesex, London replies: "Thank you all so much for your advice and suggestions I will definately try some if not all. Thanks for sharing and caring. You are all amazing!"

05/09/2012: "Hello my name is Lakeysha I am a 33 yr old woman I have suffered from fibroids and ovarian cyst since I was in my early 20's. I've been on BCPs since than. I want to get off the pills, as over the years it feels they arent doing anything but suppressing my reproductive system. I have irregular cycles still and experience nausea and vomiting whenever I take the pill. I really need help I want off the bcp pills. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you in advance"
Replies05/16/2012: Shanya from Queens, New York replies: "Hello Lakeysha, from what I know of fibroids is that they feed off of estrogen, so for you to be taking bcp's isn't a good idea. I started taking them back in 2007, and all hell broke loose. That's when I found out I had a fibroid. The bcp's mad it grow like crazy. Just be mindful that it be more harm than good to your body with the fibroid."

Just two weeks ago I came across ur website and I ready people testimony about ACV, SODA, BSM, i try them, but i could not get the bsm to buy in my location here in lagos.
the itching has stop but not permanent, my monthly cycle that use to stay for three days is now taking 7 to 10 days b4 it dry up. please i need your advice and also i want you to help me get the acv, bsm, tell me what it will cost to send 3 battles each to nigeria by post.
pls help me, this fibroid is eating me seriously as i cannot look at the self on the mirror.
i await your respond fast. may god bless you"
Replies04/14/2012: Heather from Leicester replies: "The black strap molasses( organic no-sulphur)is the most important. BSM is what is left of sugar cane after sugar production, it might have another name in your country, google other names perhaps. This stuff really does work. The ACV is good for alkalisation which you need too if you have fibroids growths but you probably could use other vinegars or citric acid instead along as you use these with baking soda( see teds remedies). Good Luck"

04/29/2012: Akb from Dallas, Tx replies: "I'm so glad I lucked up on this website! I've been suffering from fibroids for over a year. I recently found out that I have a 7cm intramural fibroid and two 4 cm cervical fibroids. The large one doubled in size over the last year and I know it has to do with my diet. Anyway, my cycle has been unusually heavy for the last several months. It just got progressively worse each month to the point that I was going through pads and tampons every hour. It was horrible. The up side is that I had no pain or bad cramping, just excessive bleeding and large clotting. This site is a God-send! I started taking Apple Cider Vinegar, Blackstrap Molasses, and baking soda, Monday, April 23rd. I took 1 tbsp of ACV, 1 tbsp of BSM, and 1/4 tsp of baking soda in mixed it in warm water. The taste is not bad at all... It's like drinking prune juice. My period came much earlier this month, five days early. It lasts between 5-7 days roughly. My period started April 26th and it was a light flow. Day 2 it was normal, slightly heavy, but normal flow. I stopped using tampons by Day 3 and went to strictly pads. I think this helped, too, because my cycle was heavy, but not excessively heavy like my previous cycles. Usually days 3 & 4 are ridiculous! I changed only 2x all day which NEVER happens. Today is day 4, and my cycle is super light and very little bleeding. I can't believe it! Light enough to wear only a liner, but I'm not that confident yet, but I'm just too happy!
There is something in that mixture that literally stops the hemorraging! I'm going to take this consistently on a daily basis and I hope eventually my fibroids begin to shrink. Give it a try! It does really works and it slows down the flow dramatically. Very impressive!"
08/17/2012: Sim from Gbagada, Lagos Nigeria replies: "Hi Vivian from Ketu Lagos, pls send me a mail @ coolcharliesangel@yahoo. com for information on where you can purchase Apple Cider Vinegar and bsm."
03/24/2012: Sharon from Salt Lake City, Ut: "I'm 52, never had kids and am experiencing perimenopausal symptoms... Infrequent menstration (about 1 every 3 mo), irritability, dimished sex drive, etc. I have been feeling a rather large fibroid that flucuates with my cycle... Large then small. I'm not interested in surgical removal since I understand that it will diminish as I progress into menopause. Since the fibroid can be quite large at times, it pushes on my bladder causing me to urinate frequently and sometimes without control plus it distends my abdomen. Is there an herbal concoction/remedies/vitamin regimen to help shrink or move this process along a little faster?"
Replies03/25/2012: Tristan from Alta, Wyoming replies: "Hallo, Take lots of Vitamin E - about 400IU minimum per day; you will find your issues will subside. This happened to me, and a nurse practitioner put me onto this.
Good luck!"
03/26/2012: Farah from Tehran, Iran replies: "Hello, I would like to add to the natural remedies such as diet and ACV SB, the specific exercise which it helps blood flow more to the fibroid area. The best exercise is cycling which supplies more blood (meaning more oxygen) to the unhealthy cells and it causes shrinking and vanishing tumors and bad cells. This method is practiced with a successful result. Thanks"
01/25/2012: Tyler from Chicago, Illinois, United States: "Hello, all. I am a young woman (21) and was diagnosed with Fibrosis last year. All years prior to my diagnosis, I'd experienced sharp pains in my abdomen and noticed that I had a permanent pudgy belly, as if I were pregnant. Of course, I knew that could not be the case. Well one day when I went to the doctor because of pains, I received the news about the fibroids that had formed outside my womb. Apparently there were quite a few, b/c the doctor was surprised when I told him I knew nothing of it before that moment.
The summer of 2011, I experienced the downfall of Fibrosis in the worst way. I'd always had a heavy flowing menstrual cycle, and it was always 7days.
This summer though, I bled for 31 consecutive days, ruined clothes because of accidents, and spent days in bed because I could not move due to the excruciating pain. I have other health issues, such as asthma/bronchitis, heart murmur, and iron deficiency anemia, so sickness is no stranger to me, neither is pain. However this was the worst predicament I'd ever been in. I am not able to have the surgical procedure as of yet. So I am seeking remedies for someone such as myself that has other health restraints, but wants to treat the fibroids as best I can, naturally. Any suggestions, aside from the Apple cider vinegar and baking soda? I've heard green vegetables and seaweed are good as well... Please help. Thank you."
