If like YEA has shares in BSM as she seems to be the only one saying how good it is. I have used it and it doesn't work, it's like eating sugar. I would really appreciate it if anyone had some genuine remedies as I am also suffering. I have had embolisation but this was unnsuccesful.

Hi. I am battling with fibroids too. I found out taking seven seas oil reduces blood cloth and heavy bleeding. For those who are unsure about blackstrap molasses. They increase your energy level because of the sugar content and they are also good as a source of iron. I felt better after taking blackstrap molasses in terms of energy levels, I still take it now and again.

I am 51 years old and for the past year I have been experiencing very heavy menstrual bleeding.February 29th I was taken to the hospital by ambulance due to how heavy the bleeding was. I was diagnosed with anemia and the ER doc did see something resembling a cauliflower growth on the cervix. I am going to be having pelvic ultrasound and probably other tests this week. During the lapse of time between that ER visit and this apppointment next week I have been out of state taking care of a sick parent and put off tests which I know is bad. I found this website when trying to figure out what I can do to get the bleeding under control until I this is diagnosed. I have been taking 1 tablespoon of unsulphured blackstrap molasses per day from the day my period ends until 10 days beofre another one is due to start. At that point 10 days before and during the period I take 1 tablespoon in the morning and 1 in the early evening. I take it straight and just drink lots of water after. I am pleased to report that the bleeding is probably half of what it was. I have had two realatively easy periods now. The only down side I can report is that my stools are slightly loose and very black by the time I have doubled that dose for 10 days. I am assuming this is from the mineral content. My stools return to normal as soon as I go back down to 1 tablespoon. I would also like to add that long before my periods became so problematic that I had become housebound for the duration I had seen eraly symptoms that there is something wrong. Three years ago I started to have night sweats. Over a period of 3 years I lost 10 pounds without trying. My body composition changed dramatically from very muscular to flacid. I went to my physician who ran tests and found nothing to be wrong. In the years to follow I was going through a very difficult time in my marriage and the stress was unbelievable. I develped a tic in my eye, I started having anxiety attacks. I have had mysterious aches and pains all over and finally my periods became very heavy. I sought help from physicains 4 times over a period of 3 years and all 3 physicians thought I looked too good to be sick and ran just a few tests which did not show any problems. They concluded that it was due to the severe stress and suggested leaving the marraige and getting professional counseling. I know my body and my intuition was telling me there is something wrong but I ignored it probably because I wanted to believe the physicians were right. Now I hope this is not cancer and strictly due to either perimenopause or fibroids. I have periods every month right on schedule every 28 days.

Ailments: Fibroid, eczema and Meningioma (brain tumor)

Remedy: Blackstrap Molasses and Borax Cures

Do they work? Maybe

I have had eczema occassionally for years. I'm not sure of the cause. My dermatologist used to prescribe elocon cream; however, this is no longer on the rx formulary for my health plan and too expensive to purchase without insurance. I began putting 1/4 teaspoon of borax (laundry soap) in 1 liter of water and drinking this while at work. I'm not a water drinker so I rarely finish the whole bottle and don't do it consistently (4 days on and 3 days off) as Ted recommended. Despite this, the eczema seems to be improving substantially. It is no longer itchy and seems to be fading away after about 6 weeks.

I was diagnosed with uterine fibroid tumors in January 2003 and have been avoiding surgery. In 2006, a reproductive endocrinologist advised me that the fibroids had expanded my uterus to the size of someone who was 6 months pregnant. He scheduled me for a myeomectomy (abdominal versus vaginal) which I later cancelled. I wasn't comfortable with the doctor nor did I want to spend 2 months recovering. In 2007, I was also diagnosed with a meningioma on my right optic nerve close to where it intersects with the left optic nerve. Because of the location surgery wasn't possible so I did the recommended 6 weeks of Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy. This apparently has stopped the tumor growth but triggered a whole host of other problems (loss of taste sensation, more eczema, hair loss, exhaustion, black spots on my tongue, etc., etc) which is what led me to the earthclinic.com website.

Thanks to Ted and the other contributors to this site, I have found out that my body is acidic (5.9ph) which might explain why I had such a bad reaction to the radiation. In the meantime, I have been trying a few of the remedies with enough success to make me realize that modern medicine isn't always best for every health condition.

I have been taking Blackstrap Molasses since I first stumbled on the website about 5 months ago along with ACV and Baking Soda. I'm not very good at taking them daily since I forget, I have increased my intake of vitamins and supplements. I take a multi-vitamin (after breakfast of instant oatmeal) every workday with the ACV/BS in glass of water(before eating). My GYN prescribed Ponstal to contol the unbelievable bleading during my periods which come about every 21-24 days from the onset of one. I'm still in the phase where I only have about 5 days a month with no bleeding or discharge but I think this is improving. I went through some sort of healing crisis last November and thought I might have to be rushed to the hospital due to the uncontrollable bleeding but since then it has improved. The Ponstal must be taken with food every 6 hours so I generally do that for the first 4 days of every period. In addition, I take about 1-2 tablespoons of BSM in the morning before work and 1 after dinner at night while I'm taking the Ponstal. I seems to be reducing the bleeding and shortening my heavy flow days from 7 to about 4. It is difficult for me to say for sure that the BSM is the reason for my improvement since I'm doing a lot of cures at once. I'm also taking a garlic tincture that someone made for me which is supposed to help dissolve the fibroids (this is garlic cloves with vodka which sits refrigerated for 2-3 weeks, drained and then taken orally with a dropper). I also don't take that consistently either. You are supposed to take 25 drops 3 times a day (after the 1st month where the # of drops vary). I generally only take it in the morning and occassionally at night. To avoid smelling like garlic all day, I brush my teeth with baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and floride-free toothpaste, then drink water with a teaspoon of chlorophyl. I ususally do this every morning before work but have reached the point where it seems to give me gas later on during the day so I'm currently taking a break from the garlic tincture (2 weeks so far) until my stomach can handle it again.

I would really like to know what Ted thinks of my remedy experiments to see if they should be modified in any way. If any of your readers have suggestions, I would appreciate those as well.

Thank you, MB

I was diagnosed with uterine fibroid cysts in Feb. of this year. I decided to take an active role in my health and see what I could do to shrink them(or get rid of them entirely) naturally. My doctor didn't want to do anything about them because I'm 48(he's hoping since I'm so close to menopause they will take care of themselves)and other than some heavy bleeding a day or two of my cycle(which were 9-16 days by the way) I wasn't having any problems, so he just wanted to "watch" them. Watch them do what? Grow? What if I'm NOT close to menopause and I'm one of those women that has a cycle until I'm 55?(It does happen). No thanks!!! I came across this website and decided to try Blackstrap Molasses. It has been a miracle! I have only been taking it for two weeks(one Tablespoon each morning) and my oh my what a change! I had noooo PMS(even my sister noticed I wasn't as grouchy), very little cramping, no bloating, normal bleeding, and noooo clotting! A happy side effect(if you can call it a"side effect")is that my skin is as soft as a baby's bottom. I can't wait until I go back to my doctor next year and he finds NO fibroids! Oh, and I'm not sure, but the few gray hairs popping in around my temple area appears to have slowed.I will take BSM for the rest of my life! I will get back to you after my exam next year!!!!

The Blackstrap Molasses and Cider did slow/stop the bleeding for a day or two, but it would return there after. I tried Saw Palmetto 2 times/day followed by the BSM and Cider and the bleeding has stopped, but reoccurred. The latter method is causing my cycle to become more "normal". The fibroid has shrunk, and the 'jury is still out' as a cure. So far, I'm more satisfied.

I was the 16-18 day period and at first the black strap molassses just slowed the flow. I discovered if I take 1 tablespoon everyday and 2 tablespoons during my cycle the cycle only last 3 days!!!! Nothing for the gray hair.

I sincerely believe that a vegan diet works combat fibroids. I have just started the vitex or chasteberry but have been using normal molasses for quite some time. I had no idea it was useful for shrinking fibroids because I use it to detoxify. A level tbsp. in a glass of hot water first thing every morning. I just have one or two heavy days and I feel more energetic since using the molasses because of the iron content. Also, my breakfast consists of oats, almonds, grounded flaxseeds, raisins etc.

I just bought a great book for women with Fibroids. I was written by a doctor who has fibroids. It is called FIBROIDS-The compltet Guide To Taking Charge Of Your Physical, Emotional, and Sexual Well Being. Author:Johanna Skilling.

In this book they DO have a list of herbs known to help Fiorbroids and a list of some women with fibroids should NOT take: Blue and Black Cohosh, Chaste tree (Vitex), Dong Quai (also called Angelica or Dang gui), Licorice (the herb not the candy) and Mother Wart are no-no's for firoids. These herbs can make bleeding worse if you have fibroids and/or cause the uterine cells to divide (creating more fibroids) and can cause high blood pressure if taken for long periods of time.

The GOOD NEWS is there are herbs that this medical doctor and others have researched and have been found to work well for women with firoids"Beth Root (for bleeding control), Black Haw (to detoxify) Cinnamon (for bleeding) Cramp Bark (for cramping and bleeding control), Dandelion (to detoxify), False Unicorn Root (for bleeding control), Garlic (to shrink fibroids), Ginger-Hops-Partridgeberry-Raspberry leaves ( for cramping control), Shepard's Purse-Wild Yam-Partridgeberry-Nettle-Lady's mantle (control bleeding) and YARROW herb shrinks fibroids-controls cramps AND controls bleeding! This list doesn't have EVERY possible herb for every symptom but reflects information from several sources, including NATURAL HEALING IN GYNECOLOGY by Rina Nissim; THE COMPLETE WOMAN'S HERBAL by Anne McIntyre and the ENCYCLOPEDIA OF HEALING THERAPIES by Anne Woodham and Dr. David Peters. REMEMBER some plants (like ones I just listed not to take)have an effect like estrogen, others mimic progesterone-Fibroids get bigger and bled more as a result of either estrogen or progesterone, so be prepared to watch your symptoms. Some SAFE herbs for women with fibroids are listed above.

I am trying to have another baby, and after finding the website I decided to try the molasses to see if it will shrink the one very large fibroid that I have. I have been taking one teaspoon for about a week now, and I notice at night I have been having cramps not sure if its because the tumor is contracting or what. Any advice would greatly help. Thanks!

I have been anaemic for the past fifteen years and severely anaemic for the past six months. As I am 55 and in the midst of the menapause I just assumed that I was out of condition and overweight. I couldn't walk up the stairs without being out of breath. Last year on holiday in Florida, I was seriously considering hiring one of the electric scooters to get around the parks. My husband who has spinal arthritis and cannot walk unaided got around better than I did! I have suffered from fibroids for several years and last month my haemaglobin level was 6. My doctor wanted to take me into hospital for a blood transfusion. I said I would try the iron tablets first and see if they would help. I had a scan to locate the fibroids and discovered that I have several and an appointment was made for me to see a gyneacologist on 3/12/08 which I will attend. In the meantime I have been looking for possible cures on the internet and found your site. I have started taking BSM in capsule form because of all the positive feedback from other ladies who suffer as I do. One lady said she could feel one of her fibroids through the wall of her stomach, so I thought I would try to feel mine and sure enough, my husband and I felt one just below my navel. Today, 2/23/08, I cannot feel anything there! It has given me hope that this treatment will work and I will tell the GYN that I want three months to see if the BSM works. If the scan shows the fibroids are still there, I will have to consider an alternative cure but I am confident that the BSM will do the job! Will keep you posted!!

(Normal) Molasses has made a HUGE difference in my bleeding from fibroids! (BUT BLACK STRAP Molasses actually extended my bleeding due to the sulphur acting as an anti-coagulant! So I'm really wondering if most ladies here are calling Molasses, BSM or Black Strap Molasses, when they're actually using the sweeter one??)

MY STORY:
I've had 11-17 day long periods within a 28 day cycle for the past 5 years now due to having a fibroid. I've also been craving ice due to iron deficiency thorough summers and winters!

6 months ago I decided to drizzle Molasses (the normal sweeter one) into my ice-cubes, and what a hit!!! I just did it for the iron, but when I had my first and 2nd periods after that, I noticed that my bleeding was not as heavy, but thought it was just my imagination. The 3rd and 4th months my periods went from 11-17 days to only 6-7 days!!! Almost NO pain, and quite a lot less bleeding, especially after the first initial heavy days.

Then I tried ADDING BLACK STRAP MOLASSES to the normal molasses (1:2). This time my bleeding (the 5th period since starting this Molasses journey) just would not stop!! It was SO heavy and SO painful, day 9 was as heavy and painful as day 2-3, and for the first time in years I had to take pain medication! The only thing I had changed was the Black Strap instead of just the normal Molasses.
Then I remembered that the lady at the health shop said that the difference between Black Strap and normal sweet Molasses, is that Black Strap contains SULPHUR. I then read up about sulphur on the internet, and saw that it acts like an ANTI-COAGULANT (which stops your body from stopping bleeding!!) and can cause strong bearing-down pains, which was exactly what I was experiencing! So I immediately stopped the Black Strap and my bleeding immediately slowed down and stopped within 2-3 days.

This past month I've just been on the normal Molasses, and my 6th period has just ended in 6 days again!! I'm SO glad I've discovered this, and can feel my fibroid getting smaller!

WARNING: Just make sure you don't overdose on Molasses!! It was very easy for me to do since I was already in the habit of eating ice all day, and found that by drizzling Molasses into my ice was so delicious that I would often prefer that over food! I was going through 1 BOTTLE (250ml) every 1-2 DAYS!!!
Molasses is very high in iron, copper, etc. These nutrients in high doses can be bad for your liver/pancreas, etc, and yesterday I was extremely weak, shaky, yelow/green/nauseas, with a temperature, after having had diarhoea for 2 days before (could be a sign of iron overdose). I immediately stopped eating my Molasses ice and feel a lot better today.

I think I'm first going to research and find out exactly how much of each nutrient is in Molasses, and how much is safe to take, so that I don't overdose and cause some serious dammage... (Scary!!)

But over-all I'm feeling amazing (before yesterday!) and everyone is saying how much better and healthier I'm looking!

I would like to know though, if most people here are calling 'normal' Molasses: Black Strap Molasses???

No they aren't. You mentioned sulphur being an anti coagulant. Everybody here is talking about unsulphured Black Strap Molasses so there is no sulphur. It is mentioned over and over again. Sugar is supposed to be bad for fibroids so that is probably why they don't use the regular one. I think the BSM is more nutrient dense.

i just found this site tonight. my dr wants me to have a hysterectomy, but i won't. i know that it is an unecessary surgery. i have like 10 fibroids. i timed my bleeding to the minute. i can soak up a superplus tampon and pad every 30min for 8hrs, day 1. day 2 its every 2hrs then day 3-5 normal. i rarely have cramps. i thought my case was bad until i heard about people being on their periods for 2 plus weeks. i asked my dr to let me try the pill, which he really didn't want me to being that the pill feeds the fibroid and makes it larger. anyway, the pill worked just a little, such as bleeding every hr for 8hrs instead of every 30 min.... i had to switch pills because my insurance accidentally found out that they gave me the wrong type. when i switched, it gave me an allergic reaction; switched again, still a reaction (made me break out in bumps/hives) was taken off until i go to my next drs appointment. i think the pill is still in my system because now i will break out in hives out of the blue, put benadryl on it and it goes away. i just found a site today that said 200mg of ibuprofen every 4-6hr will slow it down by 25-30%. i have been taken it every time i change my tampon which appears as if it works because i change every 1-2 hrs...(hope i don't OD) i am about to get off of work. i hope that ___ sells the molasses. i hope it works. glad i ran into this website. will keep yall posted.

I am 50 year old female in excellent health I have been taking ACV for a year and half have lost 38 1lbs without having to diet and my skin looks great I sleep well at night and no longer suffer from depression or any digestive problems. I have lots of energy and look 38 instead of 50. My whole entire Family takes Vinegar I take it 3 times a day before 15-30 min before meals.

I have 3 Fibroids tumors the largest one is now giving me problems, prolong bleeding during my cycle which is still regular and comes every 21-28 days I still ovulate too. I saw info on your site about blackstrap molasses. I just started taking a Tablespoon 3 times a day a week ago and have notice some changes. I am not bleeding now and I sleep better at night I am hoping the BMS shrinks the Fibroids ASAP the one is pressing on my bladder is causing me to have incontinence which is very embarrassing if I am out and can not get to a restroom I have had accidents. I have referred my friends and family to your site for help. Thank you for the info on Blackstrap.

I have been taking BSM for about two weeks now--and am keeping my fingers crossed that something wonderful is going to happen. The possibility of surgery to remove my fibroids totally scared me. I was scared not bec. I didn't want to remove the fibroids, but bec. I knew that there was a better way to handle the problem. Additionally, my doctor kept telling me that he was 90% certain that he would be able to remove the entire fibroid throught surgery; however, not once did he mention that the surgery indeed guaranteed that the fibroid would not grow back once removed. Luckily I discovered the BSM through this site and have been taking it since. The everyday bleeding has ceased, and I can finally say that I had an almost normal five day menstral flow. After all of the intense bleeding--when the initial bleeding began on day one--I was so scared that I was going to bleed so heavily. Now, I am confident that next month, I will have a normal flow. My rec. to anyone is---schedule regular/routine sonagrams. Don't let anyone talk you into surgery until you are completely certain that the fibroids are indeed in your way or are not shrinking. Last but not least, I just would like to greet everyone and highlight the fact that being able to share our thoughts/feelings/experiences on line like this is simply priceless. We are able to communicate and we are able to enlighten--what a powerful TOOL!!!

This stuff works! I have suffered badly from fibroids for about 3 years now. I have tried alot of remedies to no avail. I was scheduled to have a myomectomy. Then I came across this site and started taking the blackstrap molasses in September 2007. Three tablespoons a day every single day. It has a horrible taste, but it is SO worth it. Immediately, I noticed a tremendous change in my bleeding. I would almost hemorrorhage, but now it is almost a normal flow. I was absoutely amazed! I had been praying for a a natural remedy and I think I have found it. It has also helped tremendously with my anemia. Previously, I had been to the hospital 3 times because of fainting spells. I have also totally changed my diet and only eat natural foods now and I get foot reflexology treatments done once a month. Also, saying the Lord's Prayer 15 times daily is good too.(If you're religious or spiritual). I have made alot of progress, but I still get hard cramps, but my periods are about 70% better than before. Ladies, just try it and give it chance, because it truly works!!!!

I have been trying to loose weight in my stomach for the last 8 yrs and no luck. The whole time it has been the fibroids. In July I started doing Ionic foot detox and the fibroids became more apperent. It Works!

In December of 2006, I found out that I have fibroid tumors and that was the cause of my heavy bleeding and low iron level. At the end of January of this year I started taking BSM, hoping for that cure that everyone was talking about in shrinking those fibroids. Well I have been taking it every day ever since the first of Febuary.4 tbs a day. 2 in the morning and 2 at night. And it didn't work for me. I still have heavy periods, and blood clots.I guess it isn't for every one. But the ones that it did help, I'm glad for you, Just wish I was that lucky... :)

In response to Bonnie in Hamilton, Ontario, many have specified that the black strap molasses **must** be unsulfured for it to have effectiveness. Did you use unsulfured? I'm another victim with the same sad song for years, but I have high hopes and can't wait to try it. Hope it relieves my suffering also. Important Note to Everyone: If this is really working, please be careful about what you say to your medical professionals. We wouldn't want big brother to take it away from us (for instance, the way Lugol's was outlawed, which was used for years to treat our elders thyroid conditions, and other ailments). Fewer med appointments = less money made (less pharms and surgeries sold), could = no more BSM. Don't be foolish to think it can't or won't happen. God Bless to you all, and good luck to everyone in this endeavor.

This is one of the best of many links I have found about problems caused from a Vit. K deficiency. I suggest everyone read it (especially women.) Many people are deficient because of antibiotic use that destroys the flora in the intestines....which produce Vit. K for the body. Easy bruising, blue circles under the eyes, heavy periods, ovarian pain, etc.

After my third period using Terramin Clay and BSM I can confirm that the tumors are no longer present.

When I began the Terramin treatment I noticed an abscess on my left breast that drained for appox. 4 days (the scarring remains as proof this occurred). Since then I no longer experience phantom pains that I had from my left breast. As I continued my treatment I noticed that during the second of the three periods an abscess formed outside my vaginal area. This drained for appox. 4 days concurrent with my period.

After the second period I've begun to experience an increase in energy, weight loss has continued (the fibroids increased my weight and this is being automatically reduced),dark circles under my eyes are gone, and NO MORE tumors as of third period. Also, no acne.

Native Americans use[d] clay to remove tumors and I can confirm that it works. Also, using BSM regulates the period VERY well. I will now decrease my use of Terramin and increase the use of BSM to regulate my cycle.

This is a wonderful cure for tumors, both the BSM and Terramin have similar mineral components and you don't need surgery to be healed
