[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  Hi, I found this site after being diagnosed with a huge fibroid last month after 6 months of terrible periods. My fibroid was about the size of a softball, I'm 32 and relatively healthy (although apparently very anemic from the fibroid). Mostly vegetarian and try to not to eat a lot of processed foods but I do drink a ton of coffee. I'm terrified of having surgery so I immediately began taking 2 tablespoons of ACV morning and night (I definitely forget to take it some mornings/nights) I tried taking a teaspoon of molasses (blackstrap unsulphered) but I find it upsets my stomach, I'm assuming because I don't generally eat a lot of sugar) but I do take it a few times a week.

I also have been doing castor oil packs a couple times a week and have been taking cayenne pepper almost every day (in capsule form). I tried taking Vitex but I felt like it made me depressed and made me very tired and I broke out almost immediately, I only took it for 4 days though so I did not give my body time to adjust to it so I may try it again.

So I just had my period for the first time since beginning this and there was such an improvement! I didn't even know it was coming and even began to get nervous that I wasn't going to get it but I did and at first it started out very heavy like normal (but with no cramping) but that only lasted for a few hours and then it slowed and by the next night it was completely gone and it normally lasts 5-7 days. I had literally no cramping the entire time, I consider it a miracle. Also immediately after beginning the ACV I had so much more energy. I have no way to know if my fibroid has actually shrunk or not but I do feel so much better!

Stacey, do you know if your fibroid shrunk? I also live in boston area. Had a myomectomy the summer of 2009, had a baby last year and want to get pregnant again and now I have a orange size fibroid behind my cervix. I went for an MRI and saw a specialist and now I'm afraid that I might miscarry if I get pregnant but he said the risk of the surgery outweighs the benefits at this time. I will try anything that might help. I have been reading all the posts. Should I try 1 tsb of ACV and molasses daily or twice a day? any suggestions from anyone would be appreciated. Thx! W

Hi There, I'm 47 years old and have been suffering from very heavy periods. I know you girls know what that feels like the cramps aren't bad, but it's just terrible to never know when your period is coming. I would love to take a trip with my family for March break, but last year we landed and the day after boom-I got my period for 9 days it was terrible and ruined my whole trip. Besides the pill do you have any suggestions on how to stop the bleeding naturally.

Please help

I use to bleed very heavy and some times I think I went three months straight, and sometimes my periods will come thee times in one month and it will last for eight to nine days. And I will bleed a lot thru two pads and I will have to take a bed sheet and tear it and make myself a padding that will try to hold all of that blood. I did not go to no doc because I know that they cannot help me, they will give me pills that will not solve my problam and then they will tell me get a operation and take out my womb. And then they may kill me trying to take out my womb. I do not trust doctors. Because I know women that have this bleeding problem, and some of them end up dying on the operation table. I am telling you that to tell you this, I believe in God and I believe in his words and he say in his words that the herbs are the healing of the nation and I do not believe that GOD give us women a womb to be taken out. The chemicals that mankind put into the animals feed does destroy our health imaging God make male and female to produce a yong one and they having female chicken laying eggs without a cock (male) by just putting chemicals in the feed, and they just produce eggs the chicken, eggs, let's say meat is damaging our body...

Let me tell you what I took to stop my bleeding, cayenn pepper and, black strap molasses, or molasses and apple cider vinegar. I know because I am a living proof of what I write and tell you. I am healed. I do know that this will help.

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  I have had fibroids for about 5 years. The pain during my cycle was incredible. Motrin barely put a dent in the cramps. I have tried the following remedies and found them to be successful to different degrees:

Turmeric capsules - When I take one of these with a Motrin I feel much less pain.

Pommegranate Juice - This juice completely wipes out the pain for me. It does make me a little sleepy so I usually drink it at night or when I can stay at home.

Pistachio Nuts - I know this sounds crazy, but these really help with the pain also. I tried them after I read an article on-line about a study done in Iran which stated that Pistachio's helped with women's monthly cramping.

Green Tea - Really gets rid of the pain. But I am sensitive to caffeine so I can only drink it during the morning and early afternoon.

One more note, DO NOT DRINK COFFEE DURING YOUR PERIOD. I was feeling fine one morning, no pain and then I drank grande latte and within 1/2 an hour I was in terrible pain.

These are my weapons against fibroid pain. I hope they help someone else.

Black strap molasses is a miracle drug for me and my menstral cycle. I buy organic unsulphured (wholesome brand). I take one tablespoon in the morning daily. When I am having a period I take 1 tablespoon every 12 hours... My cycle was last 12-16 days... after the Blackstrap Molasses I am down to 3 days.

[YEA]   Apple Cider Vinegar is the absolute BEST remedy there is for fibroids and bad mentrual cycles! My sister in law is now a true believer too- she was having all the bad symptoms and I told her how to take it and this past month was a LOT better for her! It stopped my heavy bleeding and the HUGE clots I was passing too.

Try this: 1 Tb ACV, add 1/8 tsp aluminum free baking soda and let it bubble up for about 20 seconds. Then add 100% apple juice (as much as you like) and drink it. You'll feel a difference in your PMS symptoms as well- almost no crankiness. I call it my "Happy Juice. " LOL

Hope this helps!

PLEASE READ THIS POST. I felt compelled to let you ALL know because I share your fears and pain with these awful issues. I am 51 and have never had any issues with my cycle. I have always had very short light periods for years (thankfully).

Recently I noticed my period was heavier and longer than my usual 2 days. I got concerned as to changes I may be experiencing. I went to GYN, confirmed Fibroids. I took a pro-active approach in dissolving these fibroids before they would get worse. I want you all to know 2 of the best products I have been using for a few months now that are remarkable in stopping heavy bleeding, normalizing it and totally gets rid of fibroid tumors (NO JOKE) I am living proof. I have no more urgency to get to the bathroom, no pressure on my bladder, and my stomach has totally shrunk back down to normal size again and back to minimal bleeding during my cycle. All of this happened extremely quick I must add. I am so happy this very knowable guy in a health food store I have dealt with for years, led me to these awesome products. TRUST ME THEY WORK!!! If you have any questions please feel free to email me, I do not mind at all! DIM AND Vitex taken together 2X's daily. I took 2 each morning and night and was amazed by the 2nd day.

I met a woman about 4 months ago. She was having severe vaginal discomfort from itching and had 9cm fibroids. After 3 months of treatment including, bathing in lavender soaps, using olive oil for skin and hair moisturizer, eating royal jelly and using it topically, drinking apple cider vinegar, also using olive leaf extract and lemon balm extract amongst other herbs she was able to receive some relief, but it drove her to eventually get a biopsy, get a prescription for an anti-fungal (diflucan), after further investigation she found out that her tumor had shrank to 5cm and the itching had stopped. Most of the herbs mentioned were taken in the morning and evening, by the products recommended doses. Apple cider vinegar was administered, by adding it to salad dressings, baths and from time to time an oz in water. She also used two bottles of floressence during this time and drank roobis tea and started to increase her intake of fruit and veggies(especially the combo of broccoli and tomato, which has been getting better results on prostate tumors, than rounds of chemo. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/6163233/Broccoli-and-tomato-ketchup-could-prevent-prostate-cancer.html

Mostly, i've just encouraged to keep fluids up, and keep up herbs and foods that work on thyroid function(royal jelly, lemon balm, grapefruit and grapefruit seed extract) Keep up with probiotics, whether be pills or greek yogurt, buttermilk, etc. But to keep up light exercise and mostly, pray and belive. Godspeed ladies!

[YEA]   I want to let all the ladies out there know how I got rid of my uterus full of fibroids. A few years ago I had a uterus so full of fibroids that at a University hospital here in Utrecht the UMC, they were speaking of taking out my Uterus because it had become one big clump of fibroid and was causing me so much problems, blood loss etc, pain, infertility, you know it all. I called the first natural doctor in my area and he told me he could do something about it and had me come. He had me do 7 days ( 2 day weekend break) of 9am-5pm bioresonance therapy. ( which I had never heard of) Coincidence had it that the day I finished this therapy, I was expected back at the UMC to discuss surgery. When they were taking the sonogram, they couldn't find the fibroids and said that they must had gotten the pictures mixed up earlier with someone elses. Of course they didn't believe in the bioresonance therapy. I have never had them again since. I am posting this, hoping someone else will be helped with this. I know I sat in a room with about 5-7 people all in large leather arm chairs with metal bracelets around our wrists attached to some low electricity, and sometimes we could slightly feel the electricity - it might have been our imagination too though. We were told to drink at least 2 litres of distilled water while in therapy per day, and we did get mega headaches within the hour that we were in therapy - each day, although the second third and fourth day were the worst. I don't know if it is available everywhere, but I know what I would do if I were to have it again. Plus point, I got pregnant next month, after 5 years! Hope this helps someone. Tina

Hi AWA, I would just look for a natural doctor or try Google and type in "bioresonance therapy italy" just like that but then in Italian. It will give you the adresses of places where you can get bioresonance therapy in Italy. Good luck, I hope you get the same quick results as I did! I'm sure there are people out there in Italy who offer bioresonance therapy. Tina

Hi all. I have a large uterine fibroid, for which the longest diameter is 9.4cm--in other words the size of a large grapefruit. They symptoms are awful--periods lasting 15 days a month and terrible cramping and blood clotting. I thought surgery was the only answer, because of the size, but did some research, including your site, and decided on the following protocol instead. I will have the fibroid re-measured in 3 months and hopefully it will have shrunk. Here is the protocol I have just started, which I will do daily:

1) Blackstrap Molasses 3TBS per day and ACV 2tsp per day to relieve symptoms and hopefully shrink fibroids. UNSULPHURED BSM!!!!

2) Indole-3-Carbinol to remove excess estrogen

3) Nattokinase to help break down fibrin and break down blood clots

4) Maca--helps to rebalance hormones, generally in favor of progesterone

5) Serrepaptase and digestive enzymes to break down fibroid

6) May add progesterone cream, but have been using the cream for 3 years and it is obviously not working, so not sure if will use that as my progesterone has nor increased on it. Have an oral progesterone (Prometrium) not sure if will take or not. Is supposed to be for people who can't absorb the cream. However, some believe that if fibroid is bigger than a grapefruit, it may not be a good idea to take progesterone, as the fibroid may convert that to estrogen--so again, not sure if will be taking progesterone or not.

7) Diet--Mostly raw, no meat, no dairy, no wheat

8) Exercise--hard to do cause of fatigue but will try

9) Avoidance of xenoestrogens (parabens, plastics, etc)

10) Avoidance of things such as caffeine, MSG, aspartame, etc.

11) Milk thistle to help liver

12) Would like to do some liver flushes but body doesn't seem to handle it well, so not sure.

Well anyway, I just started this protocol. My period is due in about a week so it will be interesting to see at that point if my menstrual symptoms are any better. I will re-update at that time.

Hi,

Just wanted to update my previous posts. Brief history: I have had a growing fibroid for at least 3 years and in the fall of '09 it got much bigger (9.4 cm) and symptoms of long menstrual cycle and huge blood clots started. Anyway, for the past 2 cycles I have taken unsulphured BSM and my cramps are much, much less. However, length of period and clotting has not improved, bloating during period is tremendous, and I don't have the sense that the fibroid has shrunk at all. I have not been very consistent with the ACV. I tried Nattokinase and Indole 3 Carbinol but they producted severe diarrhea, so I had to stop. I am happy that at leat the BSM helps with cramps and energy so that I can now function during my period. However, as for shrinkage, I don't know what to do. Many of the women who have posted here did not discuss how much their fibroids shrank but emphasized symptom relief instead. I would be most curious to know if anyone had fiboid shrinkage from the BSM and ACV. Thanks

Hi this is Carol from South Florida (formerly of Tampa) again with another update....Well the BSM does seem to help very much with the cramps. However I continue to bleed even more every month with even more blood clots then before. My large uterine fibroid last measured at 9.4 cm back in October. On the positive news, I found two surgeons in Florida who have removed fibroids much larger than mine while leaving the uterus intact (not a hysterectomy, you can keep your uterus and keep your reproductive abilities). I have in-office consults with both of them next week. One has taken out ones as large as 17cm and the other has taken ones out as large as 15cm with the laparascopic treatment--and WITHOUT removing the uterus. So anyway, with mixed emotions, this is the direction I am heading. I have tried so many things with the natural approach but I could not find the right thing and with my periods lasting now for 18-20 days of bleeding every month and a huge protruding stomach that looks like a bowling ball, it is just too out of control....Wish me luck and prayer!

Hello Carol:

I am a novice at treating my fibroids holistically, but I do use numerous natural remedies such as Oil of Oregano for common colds and to ward off other parasitic infections. I believe God has a cure for everything, naturally. In any event, I prefer holistic remedies over and above all others. Regarding the Black Strap Molasses (BSM), and Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV). I have been combining approximately 2-3 Teaspoons of each, in a 16. 9 Fl. Oz. Spring Water bottle, adding 1/2 Teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper, and filling the remaining space with Spring Water, which I shake well and drink from 2-3 times a day (definitely during the a. M. Prior to eating, and during the p. M.). I usually obtain 3 applications from the bottle. As God is my witness, I have obtained energy, and my stomach has begun to shrink. I've also been walking for only 30 minutes a day, 3 times per week for the past week, and I've been drinking water with lemon juice (no sweeteners) before and after every meal. I simply take 3-4 sips/gulps, which I place approximately 3-4 Tablespoons in a bottle of 16. 9 Fl. Oz. of water. Additionally, someone informed me that Lemon Juice is supposed to help with shrinking fibroids, as well. (It certainly can't hurt). One other thing, I'm also taking a natural fat burner, which does have caffeine, but I think the benefits outweigh the means. Since, I haven't been back to the doctor's yet, I don't know exactly how much my fibroids have shrunk, but I can honestly say that I can actually suck my stomach in, it is much smaller, my menses have been lighter, and I am not feeling that hard mass where I believe my 7cm fibroids were. I am prayerful that there are no negative side effects, but I feel like a new woman, and I'm on my way back to my supermodel body. God is Good. I pray that God be with each of you women, who are battling with these parasitic fibroids. Peace, Love, and Happiness. China

[YEA]  Fibroids and Anemia GONE!

I have wrote on here a couple times and this is my 1 year update. My anemia is gone, my iron has been normal for voer a year now and my periods are light and normal. I was in really bad a shape over 2 yrs ago and although I was only 40 my Dr. wanted me to get a hysterectomy. I refused and did tons of research about fibroids and anemia. This is what I learned:These are the things I did immedietly: Got off the pill, Fibroids are cause by estrogen so I figured why feed it more? I did the BSM in Cream of Wheat with raisins(cream of wheat, raisins and black strap molasses are very high in Iron and you will be feeling better)every morning, Apple Cider Vinegar with apple cider at night and watched what I ate and drank. Caffeine and alcohol effects fibroids and can make bleeding worse. Don't take your iron with calcium or calcium fortiifed OJ.

My routine for the past year has been:
Glass of green juice every morning ( I drink Odawalla), if I drink coffee I order a single shot only, and have only one a day. My vitamins are Garden of Eatin Perefect Food (more green minerals and vitamins) Women's Living Green Liquid-Gel Multi Vitamin, Irwin Naturals, (lots of minerals and vitamins from plants) DIM(helps regulate estrogen), B-100, Evening Primrose Oil, and occasionaly Iron Picolate during my cycles. I've come to the point that if I don't need the iron it will make me nauseated.

I'm telling you this has worked for me! And I tried all kinds of things! I read tons of books, posts, tried this that! But thak God I did not listen to my Dr. and get a hysterectomy! At one point my cycle was so bad I almost passed out! My iron was 24! So don't think maybe her problems weren't that bad! They were bad and I was really scared!

So, I hope this helps someone out there, our bodies are amazing and when they try and tell us something we just gotta listen and rethink the way we do things. Good luck and feel free to write if you have any questions!

Can you tell me what you mean by 'BSM'? You said you put it in your Cream of Wheat with raisins. Also, where did you purchase your vitamins and minerals? Thanks :-D

EC: BSM is the acronym for Blackstrap Molasses.

[YEA]  I have huge fibroids, I'm now taking MILK THISTLE, and it seems to be helping my liver detoxify my system.

I've heard that for bleeding you can use CINNAMON. It goes take 1 teaspoon when it occurs, then wait a half and hour (30 min), then if not stopped take more. I have not tried it (luckily, my fibroids do not bleed) but it might help others.

NOTE: Dosage maybe 1 tablespoon but I'm not sure. (the lady I talked with was not too clear.) So to be safe take lower dose.

I've been reading and it said that estrogen was linked with copper. So the more estrogen you have in your system the more copper and the less zinc. the more copper the less the liver can work to detoxify the copper and the estrogen out of system. Too much copper gives you fatigue and like aluminum is support to build up in the brain giving you a sluggish brain.

The girl who was on birth-control pills is probably putting more estrogen in her system than she needs. Also she should stop eating liver or any organ meat as it has a lot of copper in it. I've heard that women need magnesium and zinc to stop the fibroid from growing. BSM has trace elements of zinc and it certainly has a lot of magnesium. The potassoum and calcium cannot hurt either.

Hi. This is Carol. I posted just recently on 11/02/09 about my situation. To sum up, I have a huge uterine fibroid (9.4 cm in diameter, large grapefruit) and ever increasing terrible premenstrual and menstrual cycles with long periods, blood clotting, cramping, and very sore breasts--all of which make my life very difficult for that time of the month every month..... Well, although it is early in my protocol/changes and I have not done everything I plan to do (only things so far I have done are BSM, ACV, and Maca daily), I want to report the following improvements already: My period in the past years has alway been preceded by very sore/tender/heavy breasts lasting for anywhere from 3-8 days before my period starts. However, this month, my period started today and my breasts are not and have not been the least bit sore/heavy/or tender. They feel perfectly normal. That alone is great. Also, my period started a few hours ago. Usually I would have cramping for several hours before the period started, but this time I just got some very light cramping after the period started....So anyway, I am already starting to see some improvements, which I correlate with the Unsulphured Black Strap Molasses and the Apple Cider--and possibly the Maca (herb to balance hormones)--as those are the only changes I have made so far. Well anyway, I will post again with an update as this hopefully continues to work. My overall plan is to deal with symptom control with BSM and ACV, but to also aid in shrinking the fibroid use enzymes and Nattokinase, while to balance hormones use Indole-3Carbinol and Maca. Thanks for this great site that has given me hope!

Hi Carol - I too have fibroids and cysts, along with the horrible bleeding and cramping. The acv works miracles for heavy bleeding. When I have my period I drink it all day long.

One thing to research - look up "DIM" (it stands for a very long word that I can't type) on the internet...(go to a reseach site, not a site trying to sell you DIM!) DIM is amazing. I have been taking one capsule every night for over 6 months now - and will not go without it again. DIM converts bad estrogens (there are three types) into good estrogens. Too hard for me to explain - but well worth learning about if you have the time to search it!

Best to you - hang in there!

EC: DIM is an acronym for 3,3'-Diindolylmethane

"3,3'-Diindolylmethane or DIM is an anticarcinogen compound derived from the digestion of indole-3-carbinol, found in Brassica vegetables such as broccoli and cauliflower.[citation needed] The reputation of Brassica vegetables as medicinal plants rests in part on the activities of diindolylmethane."

Hi. This is Carol from Weston. I posted a few weeks ago. In a nutshell, I have a large (grapefruit size) uterine fibroid with heavy prolonged bleeding (lasts about 2 weeks each month), terrible cramps for the first week, and tremendous blood clotting with the periods.... About 3 weeks ago, I started taking BSM, ACV and a variety of enzymes to help shrink the fibroid and reduct these symptoms. I am currently having my monthly period. Last month (before the protocol) I bled for 15 days. This month I am on Day 14 and still bleeding. The level of bleeding and clotting and length of period has not improved so far, as compared to the previous menstrual cycle. The bloating was just as bad as well--even worse maybe. However, on the positive side, my cramps were much lighter, I did not have to take nearly as much pain killers for cramps, and my breasts were not tender this cycle. So anyway, I am going to continue this protocol for another month or two and if I haven't had some more notable symptom improvement, I think I am going to go for the myomectomy or at least another measurement of the fibroid to see if the size has changed.

[YEA]  Hi, everyone

This is what I did, and it really SAVED MY LIFE, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD

I checked out natural anti-inflammatories, and this is what I now do.
IT HAS CUT MY BLEEDING IN HALF, I NO LONGER HAVE CLOTS, OR GUSHING BLOOD, AND IT'S ABOUT 2 DAYS SHORTER.
MY HEMOGLOBIN HAS GONE UP ONE POINT IN ONE MONTH

If you are taking medications (ANY MEDICATIONS, INCLUDING BIRTH CONTROL PILLS), please discuss with your doctor any possible interactions with Grape Seed Extract.
Don't take Motrin or Advil, or any other of those types of drugs while taking Grape Seed Extract.

Here is the regimen to do on every day of your period:
These can all be obtained at Whole Foods or the Co-Op or Rainbow Acres or any other natural foods store.

These are ALL natural anti-inflammatories:

1) Grapeseed Extract (a potent natural anti-inflammatory) : Tablets: 90mg grapeseed extract - I took 2 x 90mg tablets three times a day, with meals, which works out to 540mg / day
(the recommended dosage is half that, but this is what worked. If you have concerns about doubling the recommended dosage of grapeseed extract, speak to your doctor or do your own indepth research)
Please make sure to feel okay with the dosage you will take of Grape Seed Extract.'I experienced no side effects and this is what worked miracles for me. But if you are on any other medication, speak to your doctor before taking Grape Seed Extract, because if you are on Coumadin, or other blood thinners it could increase bleeding if you have surgery, etc.
The liver also uses certain enzymes to break down certain drugs and if you take Grape Seed Extract and another medication that use the same liver enzymes to break down, it can result in a higher level of the medication in your blood.

2) Lakewood Organic Pomegranate Juice (one x 1QT bottle every two days, drink throughout the day)
This is mixed so it's not bitter.
I also bought pure pomegranate juice and mixed that with the Lakewood brand, so as to get more pomegranate concentration

3) Organic Ginger Aid Ginger Tea (Traditional Medicinals Herbal Dietary Supplement Brand, Caffeine Free) - 3 or more cups throughout the day.
Don't reuse same teabag, keep ginger concentration high.

4) Turmeric Powder (pure powder) - 1 tablespoon sprinkled over a mouthful (it doesn't taste that great at that concentration, so I just put it over one bite of my meal and ate it quickly) DO THIS AT LUNCH TIME, JUST 1X A DAY

5) one tablespoon olive oil sprinkled over the same part of your meal as the turmeric. Basically you want to get a concentrated bite with turmeric and olive oil. DO THIS AT LUNCH TIME, JUST 1 X A DAY

6) During your period, avoid all refined carbohydrates and sugars, which cause the body's inflammatory response to come into play. Just for those days, stick to as pure a diet as possible

7) Don't take any of the above ingredients (1 to 5) at any other time of the month, to keep their effect on your body optimal when you use them once a month.

8) Here is a link to the iron content in foods, so you can incorporate them naturally into your diet so your body can produce the red blood cells and hemoglobin necessary to regain your natural oxygenation levels and your body regain balance.
Iron is necessary for the body to manufacture hemogolobin. Hemogolobin is what the oxygen molecules attach themselves to, and it is responsible for transporting this oxygen throughout the body and releasing it into the cells.

http://www.bchealthguide.org/healthfiles/hfile68d.stm

And that's it!!

Also, STAY AWAY FROM ALCOHOL, AS IT DESTROYS RED BLOOD CELLS (See Google)

THE MASSIVE BLEEDING IS CAUSED BY INFLAMMATION, NOT NECESSARILY THE FIBROID ITSELF.
That's why doctors prescribe NSAIDS (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories) in such high dosages. But they have incredibly dangerous side effects and are themselves very dangerous.

I cannot tell you what this has done to my life. It is truly a miracle, and I beg you to try this regimen.
It has saved my life, because I truly was in great, great danger and distress. Nobody cared, and also the dangers of 800mg of Motrin 3 x a day are so high, that that in itself was a health risk.
Have you ever read the side effects? They include stroke and death. There is a lawsuit currently about Motrin causing blindness in a young girl.

BASICALLY THE POINT IS TO FLOOD YOUR BODY WITH NATURAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORIES THROUGHOUT YOUR PERIOD.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO SUFFER ANYMORE. I COULD ACTUALLY START WEARING TAMPONS AGAIN, WHICH WAS JUST A JOKE BEFORE!!!

I just could not believe it. It was an absolute miracle after four years of actually believing I was going to die.
No one can understand how horrible it is to gasp for breath constantly throughout the day, to have a heart rate of 112 as normal, to have heart palpitations and your body screaming out that something had to help it.
to not be able to walk from your bed to your closet without gasping and hanging on the light fixture and having a racing heart and heart palpitations.
Being so tired that ANYTHING was impossible to do, let alone be active and full of energy.
Oxygen starvation is bad and dangerous for the body and NO DOCTORS GIVE A DAMN!!

WHY DID NO DOCTOR TELL ME ABOUT THE ABOVE REGIMEN? What on earth are they doing for their $150,000 education?

I was just confirm as having fibroid at age 39, and hoping to have a child. I am praying that that is still possible. What I have found out is that my period discomfort comes based on the diet I have before the cycle begins.

I only eat fish for about three years and my breast and period was doing fine. Now I am eating red meat and drinking milk and my breast is tender, my back ache and my belly tender.

I realized that when I drink the beetroot, carrot and ginger, I do quite well and dont have to take any pain killer. I remember 2 doc telling me to do what works well with my body and now I tend to agree and will defineately taking that root.

I just lean about the molasses and apple cider vineager and will be trying these, both where alreading in my kitchen cabinet. I have tried the combination last night......I slept well. A problem I was having.

I am thankful I live on a tropical island, so fresh fruits and vegetable are easily assessible. I am now going back to nature. I have a vegetable garden that I will certainly be using. I will keep you ladies posted on my progress. Let reclaim our health for 2010.

Dear Carla,

I think you may be on to something important about red meat! I normally don't have painful breasts but over the holidays but I ate red meat at a friend's house for dinner (I never eat red meat, but it's what they served) and the next morning I woke up with very sore breast and sharp shooting pains near my armpits. Infected lymph nodes? I couldn't figured out what could have triggered it until your post.

Please keep us informed of your progress. I hope the remedies you are trying help you.

Hello Ladies, I agree that Red Meat may be a culprit, because while I have been diagnosed with one 7 cm fibroid, and two 2 cm fibroids, I do not suffer with cramps like everyone else complains of. When I was younger, perhaps I did have a lot of cramps, but I haven't in years because, I usually don't eat dairy (except of chocolate more often then I would like), and I don't eat red meat. I also try to eat a mostly organic diet, as well. God Bless you all. "China"

Nutrition and Herbs   1  0

[YEA]  I have been reading about how people are using Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) and Black Strap Molasses (BSM) to shrink fibroid tumors. I used low fat vegan and raw diet and I am fibroids free. Nutrition does wonders for the body and helps its ability to heal. I started out with a vegetarian and organic lifestyle after getting fed up with allopathic medicine's appproach to the fibroids I had. I progressed to a vegan and organic nutrition and I transitioned to a raw, vegan nutrition and the fibroids are all gone. I also used herbs and spices such as Vitex (chasteberry), red raspberry leaves, astragalus, garlic, ginger, turmeric, dandelion leaves and roots, milk thistle, cramp bark, fenugreek, red clover, and squaw vine in my regimen.

Within the first week of eating a wholly plant-based diet, all my symptoms were gone. I gained a surge in energy and three months later, overcame chronic anemia that had persisted for three years. The tumors started to shrink and my hormones started to balance; I was no longer irritable. I have since been cured of mood swings, PMS, breast tenderness and fibroids. I also had a tumor on my liver that disappeared as well and I lost 38 pounds without any extra effort. I now have energy for brisk walks, bike rides, weights, yoga and pilates. I am now a firm believer in nutrition and herbs as remedies for all kinds of ailments. There are a lot of research about the effectiveness of nutrition and herbs in curing all kinds of ailments. I shocked the doctors who wanted to surgically remove the fibroids and who told me there was no cure. I am tumor free and I thank all the people who share their experiences on the web and I also thank medical doctors who are using nutrition to help their patients. It is true that we are what we eat.

Can you share with me to my email at maitaz@yahoo.com on how large your fibroids were. I keep hearing that the BIGGER fibroids can't be healed naturally and it should just get cut out. I have been hiding and giving my doctor all kinds of excuses for the past year now and we finally set a surgery date 10/20. So please give me so hope and tell me if you know what was the largest size of your fibroid and honest to goodness did it go away?
I want to compare to my fibroid and hear anyone having a big fibroid but I need a size to really know that it is possible for me. Write me soon, please. I am so Scared and just don't want to get cut up. Anyone reading this can email me if they have proof it can be done for fibroid over 10cm big. Peace.

Progesterone, Soy Isoflavones   1  0

Posted by Suzanne (Olympia, Wa) on 03/19/2014

[YEA]  Several months ago I was told by my family doctor that a hysterectomy was my only option for the fibroids and polyp that was causing lots of daily bleeding and pain. Thanks to your website, I decided to do some research prior to agreeing to any drastic measures. I read that natural micronized progesterone may help shrink the fibroids, along with soy isoflavones. It's working!!! I'm taking 100 mg. of micronized progesterone and 100 mg. of organic soy isoflavones every day. I will reducing my dose from that soon. In 3 months since I had an ultrasound and CT scan, an MRI shows that both the polyp, fibroids and fluid in my uterus have substantially shrunk. Also, the bleeding has almost stopped-I'm dealing with only some slight pink looking fluid now, and the pain is almost gone. I will go back for another ultrasound in June, along with a consultation with my GYN doctor, who is working with me in my attempt to naturally shrink the growths. She would like to do a D&C, but since I'm getting results so soon to show the hormones are working, I want to wait on the D&C, too. I had previously taken a slight amount of estradial, unopposed with progesterone, and I believe that is what caused the problem. I was only taking 1 mg. of estradial every 4 days, but it apparently was enough to cause the problem. At that time, I had a lab test to determine how much progesterone my body was making, and thought that was enough to offset the estradial, but apparently not. I tried the apple cider vinegar, baking soda and Blackstrap Molasses (BSM), but that didn't seem to help me. Although I'm now taking the soy isoflavones with a spoonful of BSM, so maybe that is helping. Research on-line revealed that micronized progesterone (I'm taking it in a gel pill with peanut oil), is supposed to shrink fibroids/polyps--it has really helped me. With the agony I went through, I would like to help others with the same problem, if possible. Surgery should be the very last resort. The agony and wait have been worth the effort so far as my symptoms are disappearing, along with the fibroid/polyp. (I read that it is the polyps that cause the bleeding and pain.) I've also read that the cramping and bleeding are an attempt by the body to eliminate the polyps. I decided to follow-up on any advice I saw if it will eliminate the need for surgery!!!! Reiki   0  0

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  Since we are going there...I just as well post what was TREMENDOUS in helping my fibroid symptoms, as well as keeping it from growing. I have a fibroid that is the size of a 4 month pregancy. It use to be the size of a 6 month pregnancy. I used REIKI. Reiki is a form of vibrational energy healing (research it on the net).

Reiki stopped the symptoms of, excessive bleeding, clots, nausea and pain. It stopped my fibroid from growing. Reiki did not remove the fibroid, but stopped the growth and all the symptoms. The fibroid shrank a little. The fibroid went from a 6 month pregnancy to a 4 month pregnancy.

When I told my doctor that I was going to get rid of the tumors using "natural medicine" and the New Age, he respected my decision, and just asked if he could monitor the situation. Of course I agreed to this monitoring. My doctor is impressed with the lack of symptoms, especially since the fibroid was so large in the beginning, and he admitted he is impressed by the lack of symptoms. It has been 4 years, and I have not been able to find anything yet that will finish the job of shrinking it completely. But I will definitely try the remedies recommended on this website.

Stop the Microwave   1  0

Posted by Karol (Portland, OR) on 02/22/2009

[YEA]  for fibroids -stop all microwaved meals or foods. This works and works fast. I did this about 10 years ago and did not have to have surgery. Recently, last year, I got rid of the microwave altogether. I have not missed it at all. Heating up foods does not take that long. Please stop with the micro wave. Thanks

Tanya's Fibroid Remedies   1  0

[YEA]  I have wrote several times and have was diagnosed with anemia and fibroids last September. I have tried everything from black strap molasses, to Apple cider vinegar and those remedies have helped. I got an ultrasound in June and my fibroid is still there, it hasn't gotten any bigger though! My anemia is gone, it has been for about 6 months! My Naturopath was amazed that I have kept my iron up for so long. Ok, so this is what I have been doing everyday now for the last 3 months and it has made a huge dfference: I drink Odowalla Superfood green juice every morning. I had read spirulina is good for fibroids and was taking supplements, I believe that works also if you don't like Odawalla. I take Garden of Life Perfect Food Super Green Vitamins, Irwin naturals living green liquid gel womens multivitamin, a B-100, Evening Primrose, and DIM. I read that DIM helps balance Estrogen and since I have been taken it I have noticed a big difference in my cycles being lighter. I was taking vitex (chasteberry). I take iron picolate if my cycles are heavy but they haven't been.

This routine has been so wonderful, my cycles have been light 3 days, and they have been 21-28 says apart. They were 15-17 days and horrible. My anemia was so bad my iron was 29, now it is 42! I got all the supplements at super supplements. The iron picolate I got from my naturopath.

So if you have anemia and fibroids give this a try, also cream of wheat blackstrap molasses and raisins helped when my iron was really low.
I also have gotten off the pill (everything I read says estogen makes fibroids grow) and watch my caffeine and alchohol intake. Good luck ladies! Your body can heal itself, my Dr. suggested a hysterectomy last year, I'm only 40 years old! Thank goodness I didn't listen. I feel great!

Ted's Remedies   1  0

Ted: I plan to try your recipe of 2 Tbsp ACV (Heinz) and 1/4 tbsp Baking soda in 1 cup of water to remove fibroids and excessive bleeding and clots formation and severe pain in periods. I have understood that it has to be taken 5 days a week with 2 days off.

But my query is :

a) Whether we have to take it 2 times or 3 times a day??

b) Whether it has to be taken 3 times a day during periods also or stop it at the time of periods? Once Periods are over, start it again??

Thanks.

I have fibroid and I have travelled a lot around in the aircraft. Recently I had blood clot and my doctor suggested that because I sit in the aircratf alot it makes the fibroid to sit on my vital vein and that is why I have a blood clot. It has been treated and my doctor says that since I am 50years old that menopause would set in and and the fibroid would shrink but meanwhile a friend told me of teds remedy and I looked it up but unfortunately I have been using the lime and soda with a few drops of vinegar. What should I do to neutralize it since I have taken too much acid for one month now non stop. Do I start taking only lime and soda and for how long do I have to take it before the fibroid would shrink. Pls tell me exactly how to take the remedy cos am stil on a high dosage of asprin and high blood pressure medication. Does vinegar and lime have side effects and what are they, and how do I use molasses. Please reply urgently. Felicia from nigeria
