I found your site recently while looking for help with allergies/sinus problems. I now realize that I may have a sinus infection from a recent cold I had. I've been taking the apple cider vinegar regiment for two plus days now and I've noticed at least two things: higher energy, and better complexion. My sinus problem is putting up a fight, but I have a good feeling about this cure. I hope it works.

I am continually prone to sinus infections due to allergies. I recently had a horrible sinus infection and didn't want to take yet another round of antibiotics. I searched the internet and found your website. I began drinking the Apple Cider Vinegar with water and the infection was gone almost overnight. I am planning to drink the ACV daily to keep my allergies in check and hopefully prevent future sinus infections. Thanks for the MIRACLE CURE!

Since stumbling on your webpage I have completly gotten off sinus meds. I went through the whole ACV diet but could never get the dose right. I have no doubt that the ACV healed me but sometimes if I took too much I felt like I would jump out of my skin!

I am looking forward to reading through the pages and pages of natural remedies! I've been on antibiotics (Azithromycin) for the last two years and can tell I'm becoming immune.
I suffered with sinusitis and bronchitis my entire life and was finally diagnosed with PCD. My cilia do not work and my sinuses and lungs have no way of filtering out impurities. PCD is genetic and very rare so there is very little info on how to treat. So far, Zpack is the only thing that has shown to reduce inflammation in people with PCD, thereby producing less mucous. There's no cure.
The information in this article and the comments are priceless, perhaps lifesaving in my case. I will definitely give ACV a try and try going gluten-free as well. I've noticed I am worse after having ice cream, so I've already limited dairy products.
Thanks so much!

I'm so glad I remembered this site. I haven't had this bad sinus infection for a long time & the Apple Cider Vinegar was just what I needed. It started working right away, I used as a sinus rinse. I'll drink it with tea through out the day. Is there any thing else I should do? Do you recommend the B----g organic acv? I didn't have it so I used what I had of another brand. Thank you.

Hello Anne, I have only just found out that sinus problems can be caused by acid reflux.
I used to get throat problems where I tried to clear it like you and it just comes back time after time. I also used to get anxiety attacks through it until my GP told me it was acid reflux and prescribed omeprazole. I am now using silicolgel before meals as this coats the stomach lining and this seems to work better. Hope this helps.

Zinc is said to help ringing in the ears. Zinc is helpful for immunity, too. They say no more than 100mg per day.
A half teaspoon each nutmeg, cloves, and turmeric stirred into a glass of water and drunk should dry up the sniffles and help you feel better. Drink plenty of water, not milk or coffee. This is helpful if you have to go to work, or out among people and such and you don't want to be sniffling.

I use Oil of Oregano capsules for cough and colds twice a day till I'm better or to max of 3 weeks. Oil of Oregano is very effective to kill of upper respiratory viruses. It also comes as wild Oil of Oregano drops in a bottle but I prefer the capsules. Make sure it's 70 - 80 % Carvachol.

Question: do I take the ACV on its own, and then drink loads of liquids. Or do I put the ACV in the liquids each and every time, for my sinus congestion?

Listen in high school I drank almost two gallons of water within a couple hours! It was my silly way to try get rid of a UTI my body began to tremble and shake it was like going into SHOCK. So it disrupts the electrolytes balance. So be reasonable drinking 9 to 10 glasses a day seems fine.

I had been suffering the last three days with a Sinus infection and spent over 30 dollars on over the counter Sinus meds and sprays only to get temperary relief. I finally gave in and went to the doctor, who only gave me yet again, another nose spray and a perscription for an antibiotic (basically 8 capsules of cultivated mold) for 50 dollars... I don't know about you guys but I don't have 50 dollars to drop on my nose. But thank god I found the Apple Cider Tonic on this site, and within less then 30 minutes I could breathe through my nose again. Thankyou earth clinic, I'm going to continue using this treatment with a little less ACV though to see how it fairs againt my allergies. <3

I think you just click on the treatment tab next to the reviews and ratings tab, and it will show you the recipe.
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
- 16 0z water
- 1 drop to 1 tsp of honey (optional)
I have heard of using 2 tbsp of the ACV in the same amount of water.

This works. I was suffereing from a full blown sinus infection. It takes longer than antibiotics to kill all the bugs and feel the difference, but I did it with the fresh ginger tea mixed with unfiltered organic AVC and oregano leaf oil 3 times a day, Neti pot 3 times a day, frequent hot showers, and humidifier. Yes, the drinks are so intense even the bacterias can't survive.

I have a severe sinus infection and it's the same old thing everyone else has commented on in regards to antibiotics, steroid nasal sprays, saline nasal sprays, hot steam, etc. Nothing has given me relief. I thought I'd try your recommendation with the ACV. I tried it using just regular organic ACV. It worked wonders after just one cup and, bonus, it relaxed me. I had another cup this morning and same results. I went to the health food store and purchased the raw ACV with the "mother" and I must say I didn't get the same results. I had better results with the regular, plain organic ACV. The one with the "mother" made me hyper and did absolutely nothing for my sinuses compared to the awesome results I had with the plain ACV.

I have had sinus problems for at least 10 years. I have used all the allergy medicines in combination with antibiotics, but hated the side effects. After getting this last infection I checked the internet for a cure and the ACV article came up, I thought I would try and after about an hour felt relief in my sinus. Nice simple cure. Thanks for the information.

I had to add my success with ACV for sinus infections. I recently got hit quickly with a sinus infection after having travelled on a long flight. I've been a sufferer for several years now and have always gone to the doctor for a script. Never again! This worked so well! The infection hit me Tues morning and I knew I wouldn't be able to get in to see my doc - plus, I was so tired of being bound to going to the doc and to prescriptions every time this happened. I found this site and got the recipe for a couple of TBSP ACV (organic, raw, unfiltered with the "mother" - that's the key), warm water and honey. I eyeballed the amounts and took the first cup on Tues night. I couldn't believe that I slept through the night - that never happens with the onset of a sinus infection. I continued to drink 3-4 cups throughout the day on Wed. By Wed night, I was feeling fine. Fine!! I will continue to drink it today because I'm not quite 100% yet, but I am stunned by the effectiveness of this natural remedy! Very happy to report a very enthusiastic "yea". Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Since Oct 2011 I've been ill. Sudden confusion and weakness took over and panick from not knowing what was going on. My vision gets worse, liteheadedness, and balance was off. Even tremors would happen and this extreme pressure in my head. I do remember getting sick later on one time which was very odd. Seemed like a cold but sooo dry and painful. It took so long to get a little better. But even after I still had these strong symptoms occuring almost everyday.
I've been to ER over 7x with no answers. Seen doctors who'd only try to give me depression pills. NO THANX! I've tried everything from stores. And finally I've come to think maybe it's a sinus infection? I've never had them b4.
Found this site and decided to try ACV. The 1st day I did my vision blurred up. I didn't feel good at all. (Yes I made the mixture correct. ) I felt soo tired and just went to bed. The 2nd day I drank it 3x I was finally feeling pressure release from my head. I couldn't stop sneezin and my nose was runnin all day. I even had a fever. And today I feel like I can see almost perfectly. Still sneezin and whatever but I feel a bit better. Just can't figure out why my legs are cold to the touch.
Gona keep drinkin it but my guess is that if it is an infection it's pretty bad. Probly take awhile to get through it. I've lost my job in 2011 cuz of this. I can only work 3days a week now due to how this has taken over my body. I'm close to losin this easy job 2cuz I can't function normally. I've gained weight cuz how weak I am. IT SUX BEIN ME!!!! I'm only 28yrs old.
Hopefully this is the answer to my problems. If it is I'll be in touch. I'm so desperate for my health to improve I hardly even remember what it's like to feel like my old self again. I never had problems b4. Pray for me please!!!!!

I'm trying the ACV today for the first time. It is so delicious with the recipe mentioned. Constant sinus infections and many other issues have been a mystery to me until I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. It has so many symptoms its a hard one to figure out. Even testing isn't that good. I'm not well but at least know the root cause of the sinus issues.

I must say I was fairly skeptical when I read about the Apple Cider Vinegar cure for an acute sinus infection. In all of my 48 years I had never once heard anyone mention this, but after feeling absolutely miserable for 3 straight days I was willing to try anything.
I see by the feedback it doesn't work for every individual, but it does work for the vast majority of people (185 out of 200) and I am very pleased to say that it worked wonderfully for me.
Within an hour of drinking a concoction of 8oz hot water; 2 tablespoons ACV; 1/2 packet of Instant Ginger Honey Crystals and 2 tablespoons of honey I noticed the pressure in my sinuses was greatly reduced. 30 minutes after that I could breathe clearly through my nose for the first time in 3 days and my headache was finally gone. Although I wasn't suffering any longer I opted to get up in the middle of the night and drink another glass. Afterward I slept soundly through the night and feel really good this morning. I have been blowing my nose all morning and as the cure stated the mix did thin out the mucus and is now coming out. Will bring enough to work with me today (yes, I feel good enough to work! ) and be sure to redose if I feel any sign of a relapse coming on.
Thank you so very much for this natural way to alleviate my pain. If I can avoid taking OTC or prescription medications I ALWAYS prefer the natural method.

I came across this site earlier in the week, and I found lots of good information, especially about apple cider vinegar! It is working! 20 out of the past 30 days I have been on antibiotics, and now I am fighting off my sinus infection (albeit slowly, but still... I am making progress without antibiotics).
Here are the following ways I have been taking apple cider vinegar (about a total of 3 TBS a day):
1. Add 1 TBS of vinegar to a water bottle and sip all day.
2. Add 1 TBS of vinegar to steamed, chopped spinach.
3. Add 1 TBS of vinegar to a cup or two of steamed peas (this was a family favorite of ours growing up - for some reason peas and vinegar taste great together).
4. Take 1 TBS of vinegar as a tonic. You have to like vinegar (which I do) to tolerate this, although even I find it hard on my stomach when I do this.
5. Add 1 TBS vinegar to a fresh salad with dark greens.
I also have been drinking this tea at night and it has helped immensely with releasing sinus pressure and chest congestion before I go to sleep. It also has been helping my cough:
1 LARGE CUP WATER
1 TBS APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
1 WHOLE CLOVE
1 PORTION FRESH GINGER ROOT (CHOPPED)
1 TSP GROUND CINNAMON
1 TBS LOCAL HONEY
I boil all of this together. The cinnamon won't dissolve in the drink (it will collect on the bottom), but it really helps with the taste. This tea isn't bad tasting - I also would say it isn't the best tasting. But it is POTENT and has immediately effect for me. I think the ginger especially has been helping me mixed with the honey and vinegar.
I also have taken all dairy out of my diet for the time being as well as caffeine. I think it's making a difference.

Apple Cider Vinegar for sinus infections works like a charm. I was a complete non-believer but found myself a bit desprate as I am flying in 2 days and had a pretty good sinus infection going. Major symptoms included: running nose, clogged ears and tremendous pressure in my face. I filled a mug half way full of water and microwaved until hot. I then filled the rest of the cup with several tablespoons of Organic ACV. I added a bag of ginger/lemon tea, local honey and a strong pinch of ground ginger. After the first mug, the pressure in my face began to reduce. About an hour later, I had another mug and the pressure continued to subside. The tonic increased my runny nose and reduced some of the ear pressure. It was by no means a great but was improved. The next morning, I was shocked at how much better I felt. Again, I made the tonic 3 times that day seeing some improvement after each glass. The next day (today) I am feeling about 85% better. Only symptoms being tiredness and slight pressure in one ear. Overall, this is a wonderful way to get rid of a sinus infection quickly. I will add that I am taking a Z Pack but historically, they take 5 or 6 days to work (if it works at all... ). I feel very confident that the ACV is what pushed me back to health so quickly.

Try adding in LOCAL HONEY. It has to be LOCAL or say LOCAL on it. Here is my recipe. 8 oz of hot water in a cup. 2 tbsp of ACV. 1 tbsp of local honey. - Usually completely cured in 2-3 days max. We have lots of trees out here with lots of pollen. It's not uncommon for us to get sinus infections and/or allergies.
