Hi, I started to put a bit of Cayenne pepper, along with some lemon juice into my morning tea, as an immune booster, but, I must say, I have found that I have been in an extremely energetic and jovial mood. I had not noticed this until yesterday, my 3rd day doing this regimen---just thought I would share.

I began reading about cayenne pepper and acv after realizing the pills i take for my heart, high bp, circulation and high colesterol were not working. B4 i started drinking the cayenne pepper tea i could not walk a half a block. Now, i can walk for one mile and my leg does not hurt. I have had heart attack, two leg by-pass surgeries. My energy level is great and I just can't believe my leg does not hurt. I also went to the doctor after not taking my bp medicine for 5 days and drinking the tea 2-3 times a day. Usually if i go that long w/out my medicine, my bp is sky high. This time my bp was norman. I mean normal. I was amazed. I still take my fluid pill to release those fluids but I feel great. thx ever so much

I have been on a regimen of 2 tbls of ACV and 1 tbls of blackstrap molasses 2x's a day for about 4 months now. I've just recently in the last month added 1/2 tsp of cayenne (1 tsp/day total) to my ACV and chase it with a glass of water. I read on your site that cayenne helps circulation and that was the primary reason I started adding it to my ACV. Before that I would cook with it and added it to my food everyday as I really like hot food. Well, I was pleasantly surprised with what happen next... The puffiness around my eyes (due to some kind of allergies food or airborne I'm guessing) and face is COMPLETELY gone! No kidding! I have a healthy glow to me now and the puffiness around my eyes that would make me look tired all the time, has vanished. The next thing I noticed is that my sinus' are clear, the dull sinus headache that I lived with for so long is gone and I can breath through my nose at night. As a result I think I'm getting more oxygen to my brain and body now and I definitely feel much more clear headed. I had no idea how much congestion was in my sinus' that I had just learned to live with. After ingesting a teaspoon a day for about a month, although results came within a couple of days, I look and feel so much better. The only thing I can attribute to the changes to is the cayenne. Thank you so much for posting this remedy. Makes me want to kiss you guys right on the lips! SMACK!

To the person who had extreme side effects after taking cayenne capsules:
The reason you had this over reaction to the cayenne pepper pills is because you should never take anything that tastes hot in a pill form. The body needs to sense that some thing as hot as cayenne pepper is on its way down to the stomache and the stomache is then prepared with the appropriate digestive acids to accept the cayenne pepper to handle it and digest it without any reaction.
You may have been told by the people who sold you the pills that it's okay to take cayenne pepper in this form, but I will assure you it is not. Please listen to my advice or better yet do your own research on this and you will see I am telling you the truth.
Good luck,
Ellen
P. S. It is very easy to get cayenne into your diet and it is so cheap too. I put my cayenne in a glass of lemon juice which was freshly squeezed (and it needs to be an actual lemon, the fake plastic lemon juice dose nothing to help your health) and put a little cayenne pepper in and sweeten it with liquid stevia. It tastes refreshing and it is health promoting.

I had pain for years in my bones a month ago before I started to take cayenne pepper capsules and I now am pain free. I continue to take 1 capsule per day. It's nice to be pain free.
I started off with 2 daily then I increased the dose 1 per day until I reached 5 i stayed at 5 a day for a week. Then I decreased then to 1. This works well on the heart, diabetes, and diverticolosis which I have. A big improvement.
Oh, 400 gram capsules they were.

Cayenne Pepper For Cuts
I had a piece of loose cuticle skin on the side of my left thumbnail. One evening while watching a movie I did a stupid thing and tore it off. I tore the top two or three layers of skin off the entire side of my thumbnail leaving raw skin. I cleaned it with peroxide, put on some ointment and a bandage and forgot about it. Three weeks went by and it did not heal. Usually if I keep it pulled away from the nail it will heal up ok. But three weeks went by and now my thumb was swollen and an ugly purple color and hurt bad. I had some antibiotic on hand and after taking that I began to feel better but the ulcer had formed under the cuticle. I knew the ulcer had to be removed before the skin would heal. I got a new razor blade and every thing I would new to clean it and moved to the bathroom sink to do the operation. The cuticle was still raw, ugly and painful but it had to be done. After removing the top half of the ulcer I let it bleed out to self cleanse the wound.
Before I did the operation I went to this site to see what others had used to heal cuts and I read the post by the women who was stuck on an outpost island for two days and put cayenne pepper on her husbands severe head wound. Up to this point everything I had used, ointment, iodine, peroxide, etc, had not worked. So I went to the cupboard and got the cayenne pepper and poured a generous amount over my raw and bleeding cuticle. It absorbed into the wound and stopped the bleeding immediately. I let it set for a couple minutes then shook off the excess and lightly put a bandage over it. Over the next few hours I could feel a slight stinging in the wound but I could also tell my thumb did not hurt as bad.
The next morning my thumb did not hurt at all so I removed the bandage and discovered my thumb was a nice healthy color and not swollen at all. I could not believe it!
The cayenne pepper had form a very healthy looking closure to the wound. When I washed my hands the pepper remained so I decided to let it stay a couple days to keep the wound clean. Two days later my thumb was completely healed so I washed off the pepper and everything look nice and healthy.
From now on when I get a cut or scratch I am NOT reaching for commercial ointments or salves, I am reaching for the Cayenne Pepper.
Best Wishes for a Peaceful World,
Don

I've been having the same experience for about 10 days now. I started taking cayenne to help me knick some "under the weather" feelings that were going around the office. Coworkers were feverish, phlegmy, etc and I wanted no part of it. Goodness me, my mood has gone through the roof! I seriously went to journal today because I don't remember any of the things I was so upset about, ha. It's like the pattern of inconsistent moods has been completely interrupted... My mind just doesn't go there. I don't suffer from depression but I haven't felt this consistently jovial and energetic outside of times when I was working out every single day. It's fantastic and I feel so alert and even-keeled.

Dr. Richard Schulze was perhaps the #1 student of Dr. Christopher; Schulze was born with bad heart valves and not expected to live. He cured himself using cayenne, to such an extent he was called by fellow students of Christopher "Dr. Cayenne."
Schulze has cured thousands with "incurable" conditions. See his site herbdoc.com. He generally adds cayenne to any herb tincture he makes to amplify its effectiveness. Cayenne opens the capillaries and allows whatever herb or supplement you take better ingress to your cells.
Here is a link to a book he did "Curing with Cayenne:"

Sluggish Digestion

Cayenne Pepper helps my sluggish digestion. I have episodes that last for weeks sometimes where it seems as if my digestive system just stops. It causes tremendous stomach discomfort in the middle of the night, no matter how many hours it has been since I last ate (the problem is exacerbated by laying down). So, needless to say, I have many sleepless nights being awakened by a burning, bloated stomach. Lately I have been taking 1 capsule of 100,000 Heat Units Cayenne pepper after my last meal. From things that I have read, I decided to open the capsule and put half in a small glass of warm water with honey, then swallow the half-filled capsule. It has done wonders for my stomach discomfort and has allowed me to have very restful sleep. I believe it is helping the digestion process. I really don't know what my digestive problem is, but the cayenne pepper makes my stomach feel great and actually normal for a change.
ADVICE WHEN DRINKING CAYENNE PEPPER POWDER IN WATER: do not inhale as your bring the glass to your mouth unless you want to really clean out your sinuses! Cheers to all who are taking charge of their own, and their loved ones, health.
Wounds

Today I cut the tip of my index finger and a bit of my nail off while cutting a watermelon. The wound isn't that deep maybe about 1/4 inch at the very most. Anyways, after 30 minutes the bleeding was still flowing. So, I decided to hop on to Earthclinic to do some research!
I decided to try using Cayenne Pepper on my wound after hearing so many good reviews. So, I dumped a good amount on CP on my wound and waited 10-15 seconds. The bleeding stopped and sort of cauterized right before my eyes. It was pretty cool!!
I allowed the CP to "soak" into the wound for about 5 minutes and then I added a bit of organic raw honey on top. I then wrapped the finger with some gauze and tape.
Before using the CP I cleaned my wound with rubbing alcohol which stung and hurt way more then the CP. When I put the CP on the wound it did create a burning sensation but that slowly faded into a nice warm feeling.
I have read to leave the bandage on for 1-2 days. Depending on how my finger looks I might use the CP again. I did read that the cayenne pepper will help dry the wound out which allows for faster healing.
I love this website and I will definitely update again in the next few days or weeks.

Mix the cayenne pepper with tomato juice or vegetable juice. It goes down much easier than mixing it with water.

Hemorrhaging

I have had personal experience with cayenne for stopping hemorrhaging. Immediately after the birth of my second child, I began hemorrhaging pretty badly. The midwife tried everything she could think of to get it to stop, but it wouldn't. Finally, on the insistence of the birth assistant, they gave me two full droppers (not two drops) of cayenne tincture. The bleeding stopped instantly. My mouth was on fire, but at least I was safe.

I tried so many things to overcome my candida infection but the single most effective thing I tried was drinking a few dashes of cayenne pepper powder in a beverage. Vitamin and probiotic supplementation also helped some. It also relieved my depression/fog, fatigue, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, yeasty body odor, itching, allergies, anxiety, high blood pressure, "blurred" vision, generalized muscle pain and spasms.

★☆☆☆☆WARNING!
CAYENNE PEPPER WARNING- My 80 year old father in law recently had neck surgery to replace 2 discs that had trapped his nerves, he was becoming paralysed, he lost his bladder control and had to have a bag and catheter fitted, on removal the doc notice that his prostrate was hard and enlarged, We recommended that he start on cayenne pepper slowly and build up over a few weeks, the hope is that pepper should improve his blood circulation which will help his nerves heal quicker as well as de-clog his prostrate that was probably blocked from the catheter and poor flow, well he loves curry and all things hot so took quite a lot from the start, after 10 days or so my wife received a phone call from her mother saying her father had had a stroke! He was ok but it had set his recovery back (from nerve damage) a few weeks, when I quizzed him about the pepper he confessed to liking it and taking a lot more than suggested, (more than ½ tsp. 2 x daily) he just can't taste it like most do! It was a pretty hot one too, not a cheap store bought.
Any how, he has had 2 heart attacks and a quadruple bypass many , many years ago ( even though he is has never smoked and was a keen athlete! ) I suspect he is a little clogged up and the pepper acted to unblock him just a little too quickly removing all sorts of nasty stuff from his arteries and possible causing the stroke? he has resumed the pepper but at a pinch daily with the aim of increasing slowly over the weeks, fingers crossed this time, ironically cayenne is touted to stop strokes!
The lesson here is if you are just starting on cayenne pepper don't take the whole jar in one go! Build up slowly- its powerful stuff!

I've read about people having problems with Cayenne, Habanero or other "hot" chilies or sauces and as a Chef who specializes in Mexican fare, plus I now live in Mexico too, I can give you a very easy and efficient remedy to ease the burning from peppers. Also, it doesn't matter if the burning is in your mouth, lips, face (from touching it with your hands after handling peppers) or hands, it works:
Put a little salt on the palm of your left hand, wet the tip of your right index finger in your mouth slightly and dip it in the salt and place it UNDER your tongue (sublingual) in the tender area on your jaw and not ON the underside of the tongue. Relief is very quick, easy to do, you can do it anywhere (like a restaurant) and works for everyone plus you can find salt everywhere.
