I give my ( cat sized) dog turmeric.. she wouldn't eat it if I mixed with food ... so I bought empty capsules and fill the small part with turmeric powder plug the end with steak I minced in the blender and rolled a tiny ( small as possible) ball of meat with the half capsule inside . If I make the meat balls small she gulps them down capsule and all -IF I make them bigger she has to chew and she discovers the capsule and spits it out .. so keep them small .. even if you have to do it twice to get the dose into her. I do this for all the supplements she is on for cancer .. so far tumor shrinking and she is doing well .. vet said she was dying but she's looking good in the last 2 weeks.

Hello,

7 months ago my dog was diagnosed with stage 2 sinus cancer and a fungal infection. His symptoms were a nose bleed 1-30-2015 then another in June of last year. Also for a few years he had clear nasal drip. But I noticed in September last year that there was no airflow in his right nostril. In September they diagnosed him and gave him 3-6 months and if we used radiation we would get a year, but he would go blind and have severe nasal mucus and pain. We opted out and went holistic.

Took him to a holistic vet which put him on max formula and turmeric, mushroom and curcumin. I also added to his therapy homemade liposomal c, hemp oil, krill oil, spirulina/chlorella/hemp dry powder mix, ip6, human grade DE, homemade dog food (chicken, mixed broccoli/cauliflower, carrots, pumpkin, black beans, quinoa) and half raw ground chicken backs with organ meat.

2 months ago he had massive nose bleeds from sneezing then a miracle, the tumor popped out at 2" the size of my baby finger. Had it tested and it was indeed the cancer tumor with the stem. Unbelievable but true.

Now I'm fighting his fungal infection which after the tumor flew out (btw it was an inoperable tumor) he had airflow from his right nostril but only lasted about a week. That is when I believe the fungus invaded and since then he has about 20% airflow.

I would like to know what i can give him specifically for nasal fungal infection. My dog (Chucky) is going on 8 years old in July and is a golden retriever. Otherwise healthy and happy, eats well at 110 lbs.., and stocky build so he may be about 10 lbs. Overweight..

Now you have a background. Do you have any suggestions on how to treat a sinus fungal infection. Thank you so much..

Hi Denise, I would put your dog on vit c, oregano oil and colloidal silver and a couple of drops down nostrils.

Budwig Formula
Posted by Lee (Jacksonville, Nc, Usa) on 07/18/2015

Hi, Adrienne,

I hope your kitty is still doing ok. I am also using the Budwig protocol for my scottish terrier who was diagnosed with cancer and has a tumor on and all around his eye. It grew within 2 days. The vet really can't do anything and told me to keep him comfortable and he is taking Tramadol for pain.

I searched several Budwig sites, some relating to dogs and cats. My Scottie weighs about 23 pounds. Your kitty should be getting half of my Scottie's dosage.

Dosage for your cat:

1/4 TBSP flaxseed oil equals 1 scant teaspoon

1/2 TBSP cottage cheese equals 2 "" teaspoons

1/4 TBSP freshly ground flaxseeds

Also can add, if using:

1/4 tsp organic Turmeric powder (to make sure the Curcumin is still in it is the reason for organic)

2 short grindings from a small peppermill (freshly ground pepper is needed for the Turmeric to be absorbed and activated into the cells.

Make sure you only mix the oil and cottage cheese with a blender until it becomes one. I bought the immersion blender with the stick blender and the whisk 2 in 1. The amounts I am making are so small that the stick blender is not blending it so I use the whisk attachment.

Then I stir in the flaxseeds, turmeric and pepper with a spoon. At the moment I am not using the turmeric and pepper because turmeric is also a blood thinner, and the tumor is making my Scottie bleed pretty bad from his eye and also the oozing lesions from the tumor. I wash it and put triple ointment on it.

During the first week I fed him this 3x a day, now only once, because my boy sometimes does not feel like eating. I also mix a little liverwurst in it or some good canned dog food to entice him to eat.

I hope this helps you. Wishing you and your kitty all the best.

Castor Oil

Strange thing happening. I have been putting the castor oil on my cat's tumors and the skin on top became black and hard and fell off. Under this I can see the pink tumors. I applied castor oil and aloe vera to them and am hoping this continues the healing. Anyone else have this happen with the castor oil?

Kathy, research on ESSIAC four herb with all roots from ESSIAC WEST online. It will remove those tumours and cleanse the system. I am using it for myself for detox. It could be your dog will be like new.

If a tumour does rupture, put loads of turmeric into the opening. Do not add pepper to turmeric - it is nonsense.

I have read a lot about cats with this particular type of cancer. There seems to be a great deal of information with possible positive outcomes mixing DMSO and Colloidal Silver. Try reading more about this and see what you think. Just a suggestion as I too, am seeking assistance in treating/curing my 16 year old cat with this same horrible disease.

I have a 10 year old, 20lb terrier. She has had a benign fatty tumor just above her chest bone and below the collar line for several years and about 1/2 a golf ball in size. I have been giving her about 1/2 tsp of turmeric in her food every day for about 3 weeks. It has shrunk considerably I may up the dosage for the next few weeks to see if we can completely dissolve the tumor.

Seabuckthorn Oil
Posted by Beanie (La, Ca) on 08/17/2013

Hi, I just read this. Sorry to hear about your dog. Please do a search online at Amazon or iherb.com for the seabuckthorn berry oil. It is not that hard to find. Since your dog is 71 pounds I think you could give him 2 to three droppers per day. Maybe one dropper in the morning and one in the evening. You can always adjust it. It sounds like a lot but it is a fruit oil so it really is like food. However, this is not professional advice. I know it sounds good to be true but it really shrunk the tumors on my dog. She is still with me. Please try it. And, best of luck to you. Please post here to let us all know if it helped so others will know too.

p.s. As I posted, my dog is 19 pounds and one dropper full (not drop) was a good dose for her.

Hey CJ!

Start by reading up on the Earth Clinic brain tumor page:

https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/brain-tumor.html

Given the weight of your dog the nutritional doses in the formulas on the tumor page could reasonably be halved.

The linking to topics is goofy - but this is posted on the real time page for you also:

Hey Lily!

I have no first hand experience with naltrexone but I did some research for you.

If you have it in liquid form, you can add water and draw it up in a syringe and drip that into your dog's mouth. If you have a tablet then hide it in some cream cheese or other soft food.

I hope this helps!

Hey Nayibe!

I am sorry to hear the biopsies revealed cancer :-(

You and Bailey have been together for quite some time; now is the time to really turn inward and turn the inner ears on. I say that because IF Bailey is going to leave you soon, it is important to know that her leaving is part of the plan, part of Bailey's solution to a problem that you may not be able to articulate, and the natural progression of her soul path. So in your natural attempt to keep her with you, please listen - and give permission for her to leave when the time does come, as all of us must do one day.

Now, a plan of action:

Essiac Tea - Om has much info on this tea, there is the original and then the knock offs, so get the original and brew it and add to her food 3x day or so.

Chaga - steep it and add to food as you do the Essiac. Read up on Chaga:

http://oriveda.wordpress.com/chaga-the-facts/

Read up on EC how Chaga helped a Beagle with mammary cancer [scroll down]:

https://www.earthclinic.com/pets/tumors2.html

Castor Oil pack/wrap - you have the info on this already, this seems very promising IMHO.

One thing to also consider - this thinking outside the box - is putting mind over matter and the laying on of hands. Consider EFT:

http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2013/12/26/emotional-freedom-technique.aspx

Consider Tellington Ttouch:

http://www.healthharmonyvistas.com/tellingtontouch.htm [scroll down and read about Bernie's tumors please - *many* good ideas]

And it never hurts to hold and hug and say a prayer and ask for healing.

Hydrogen Peroxide, DMSO

I'd like to know more details. My GSP canine has multiple benign tumors, most concerned with the ones in her belly area (I see a change in her poop). Tested, show benign but growing - spreading. I was going to get her shaved and use castor oil. I've read this and would like to know 1/2 n 1/2 each mixture? Did you shave the area? Use any kind of large bandaid? I may need to use an elizabethan collar so she won't lick it. I'd love for them to be gone in 10 days. She gets grain free food n treats, filtered water, chloraphyl and Garden of Life Superfood (greens) which I think is why they are benign. I want to cleanse her lymph system as this may be the real issue as well. Thanks!

Tumors in pets; Several years ago my cat developed a mass which my vet said was a tumor. I was taking shark cartilage for osteoarthritis (which did relieve the pain) and added some to my cats food. After a few weeks I took her back to the vet for an exam. He found that the tumor had liquified. If you read the book "SHARKS DON'T GET CANCER" it claims the shark cartilage cuts off the blood supply to the growth.

Hey Barb!

Despite the yucky experience, it would seem healing has been taking place and the body is working to expel this tumour.

Keep a closer eye on this thing. And keep doing what you are doing.

Is the bleeding stopped? Change dressing daily if not oftener to ensure the bleeding is in check.

Scroll down below/latest pet posts for "Jack Russell with Cancer" - Dennis from Mississippi posted his "Magic Milk "Tonic" that will fight the tumour from the inside via nutrition.

Consider adding turmeric to your castor oil - mix them 50/50.

Thought I should post an update on my dog with a cyst that would not stop draining since it finally healed. I did try silver sol but that didn't work. I had tried manuka honey for a couple of days but that didn't work so went on to try something else. After trying different remedies I went back to manuka honey. I used it for 4 days and gave him 2 separate doses of Cell Forte. It hadn't drained for a couple of days but the cyst was squishy so I knew I had to drain it. This time what came out was dark red blood and it wouldn't stop draining which worried me because it had never done that and the fluid coming out had always been clear with a little blood. After that, it healed and never filled up again. Don't know if it was the manuka honey or the Cell Forte. The first time I used the manuka honey I only used it for a couple of days so maybe I didn't use it long enough. I love Cell Forte because I'm treating a cat with it and I think it's helping her so maybe that helped my dog heal too.

What I did was to use a "cotton round", the kind you use to remove makeup, put a good amount of manuka honey on it and then pressed it against the cyst. Next, I put a piece of flannel fabric over that to help keep the honey from spreading and then put a long piece of duct tape across it and then a couple more pieces in different directions so it would stay in place. The whole ordeal lasted 4 months. My dog is so good, I had a hard time keeping the bandage on because of the location... the rump, on the side, so had to use the duct tape and it worked great but he did look kind of funny.

My 13 y old dog, Jamie has had fatty tumors for several years, now. When he was eleven, the vet removed one at the "elbow" joint of his front leg but it has since grown back. He was dealing with it though, and the vet recommended doing nothing to the re-grown tumor, due to his advanced age and declining health.

Then about 6 weeks ago I noticed a different large, red, golf-ball growth in the same area. This was in addition to the re-grown tumor. The new growth looked like a water balloon.

That's when I started surfing the net looking for options. One night, I spent several hours reading about herbal medicine, and TCM/TCVM vs Western philosophies about cancer and tumors ... interesting stuff, but I just wanted to help my dog.

Also, as an aside, I noticed that Jamie's breath smelled a lot worse than usual ... (sort of sour.) He was in bad shape, and I was in the middle of a move.

There are "vets" out there selling their special blend of herbs and medicines ... but I wanted to "know" what I was giving my dog. So I was looking for something I could get from any herbal supply store.

Affter reading information here and elsewhere, I decided to try curcumin (which is a turmeric extract) It cost about $10/ bottle, over the internet and comes in capsule form. I take 1 capsule apart and sprinkle it over his food (I feed him twice a day).

After 3-4 days the big red tumor burst IT SMELLED AWFUL (sour like his breath) and it continued to leak for about a week. At first, the liquid that came out of the tumor was clear, and greasy. Later there was pus, but there was less and less each day.

By this time, we had moved, and Jamie was still moping around ... and I honestly did not know if he was in pain, or depressed about the move, or what. I decided to keep giving him 2 curcumin capsules a day (since it seemed to make the tumor go away), 1 with each meal, and I also cleaned the wound area with hydrogen peroxide, and kept the wound covered. Jamie did seem to be getting better, but I did not know if it was wishful thinking on my part ... so I took him to the vet a week later.

The vet said that the tumor had ulcerated, which was not good, and he had lots of tumors... but he did not recommend putting him down at this time. He said that this is just what happens to old dogs. He cleaned and shaved the area around the tumor, prescribed an antibiotic, wrapped the wound and sent us home (and charged $250).

It has been a month now, and Jamie has continued to improve. The (red)tumor has "dried up, there is no pus. He still limps a little (but he limped before). Also, the regrown tumor has shrunk ... he still has other tumors, though. I do not know if this is a "cure" ... but I do think that it has bought us some time.

I wanted to share this because I remember how frantic I was 6 weeks, when I was looking for information that could help.

Hi Dogs that are fixed & 6 years old just get fat cysts or tumors, whatever U want to call them. Sometimes they pop up over nite. So Ur NOT necessarily doing anything wrong--Its just part of nature.

My ShihTzu had a fat cyst the size of a pea above his ear... it looked gross.

This sounds mean, but IT DID NOT HURT MY DOG.. OTHERWISE HE WOULD'VE YELPED & MOVED HIS HEAD AWAY FAST... He let's me know immediately if he's ever unhappy... He's Not shy... Anyway, I stuck a sewing pin in the cyst... To see if maybe it was sebacious... I then squeezed it... nothing came out, so I assumed it was a solid fat mass.

I put a Curcumin (Tumeric Root) capsule I got at the health food store in a pill pocket. He ate it & ate the 1 for his sister--she refused to eat it. I smelt the capsule & couldn't smell anything, but U know how sensitive dogs noses are.

Then 2 weeks later I gave him another...

1 week later I noticed a crust on the (cyst) bump, so I scraped it off with my finger nail & smelt it... Really Grose Smelling! I then squeezed the cyst from the base--VERY IMPORTANT.. I KNOW A MAN WHO LET THE BARBER SQUEEZE A ZIT ON HIS FOREHEAD... BUT HE DIDN'T GET ALL THE SEBUM OUT... SOME WENT BACK IN THE BLOOD STREAM & HE DIED OF AN ANURISM... SO HAVE UR VET DO THIS IF U THINK SOMETHING BAD MIGHT HAPPEN..

Anyway, it may have gotten slightly bigger after I started giving him the curcumin, but nothing really noticable & there was no oozing & grose open wound like the others said... When I squeezed it... 4... What looked like flat empty sebacious cysts came out... They stunk... There was about 1/4 of the bump/cyst left & no more would come out & he didn't want me to touch it anymore... He was Not in pain, but he was just getting annoyed with me messing with it, so I left it alone... The stretched skin eventually went back to normal & the cyst was totally gone in 2 weeks. Its been 1 month & I'm sure its not coming back.

This is a way more natural & cheaper solution... Than spending $400 like my friend just did to get a sebacious cyst cut off her cocker spaniel's back. From what I read here... they also come back after an operation, whereas, with the Tumeric/Curcumin they don't.

Thanks U Jesus for the Natural Cure! Thanks EarthClinic 4 Being here--Love this web-site!

Turmeric does work... We have 2 dogs with the same problem and we have been using it with Pomegranate extract and Broccoli extract and also use the Turmeric Extract... Go to a holistic health store and tellthem what it is for and they will tell you how much per pound your dog is to use. Also don't feed them store bought dog food anymore... Make your own with Organic Chicken and buy some liver and cook it and mix in Broccoli and spinach and Shiitake Mushrooms. Also Beets are good for them too. Organic Coconut Oil is good for them. A good Krill Oil is good too. You can look up a good diet for dogs that have cancer and it will tell you more to put in it... The Dog Foods now have alot of not good stuff in it and is actually causing the cancers.... when you start them on a new diet it's ok to get them slowly into the new food by doing parts to parts on it till they get used to the new.

We have not found castor oil to burn open wounds.

It is not harmful for your cat to lick it. It may help hairball problems if she has any! If she gets too much castor oil though, she may get diarrhea.

Personally, I think castor oil is a good thing to try.

Hi,

I have an adopted black lab, age 15, "Lady", with a large tumor that appeared on her right leg joint (started as elbow callus appearance). The Vet stated that I would probably have to "put her down" soon because she will stop walking due to leg discomfort. He did not recommend surgery or chemo; she does have an obstructed nasal passage since someone probably kicked and crushed her face at some point in her life. She often gets antibiotics for her nasal infections - we have to carefully feed her to keep food out of her nose.

I am writing to say thank you for your directions and the Castor Oil... it's been nothing less than amazing!

I began treatment a week ago as you directed and the large, mushy mass is now 1/3 the original size, no edema. She is walking around and even rolling in the grass. I will continue all phases of her treatment and wish to say thanks on our behalf, she feels very good, frisky and most importantly, she is able to truly enjoy her days more.

It sounds like an umbillica hernia and when the dog gets spayed or neutered the vet can close it then. Do NOT push on it as hernias are small openings in the muscle wall and the pups intestines are just poking out some. If you mess with it you can cause problems. Many dogs live they entire lives with them, but better to close if already undergoing anesthesia.

Castor oil cured a tumor on my dog. My dog had a tumor on his chest, about as big as a nickel and raised about an eighth of an inch. It was progressively getting larger and since it was on his chest was getting rubbed a lot from laying down. The result was a big, dry, cracked and oozing tumor- disgusting!! I read about the castor oil cure for tumors on pets and tried it. Twice a day I applied castor oil to the tumor and covered it with a band aid. Within one week the tumor was completely gone!! all that there is now is soft pink skin- Hooray!! I probably saved a few hundred bucks.

i am not sure if i read this cure from this site or not but if i did i want to thank whoever it was that posted castor oil as a substance to shrink tumors in dogs. it really really worked! my vet told me that the lump on my dog's paw was a non-cancerous tumor and that it should be removed because there is not enough skin on the paw to stretch for the growth of the tumor. i decided to see if there was any way i could shrink it before i decided to put him under for surgery. and so i tried the castor oil twice a day for three days and and the tumor is gone, with the exception of just a little left over skin that stretched from the growth of the tumor, its completely gone!!!! i spent $2.59 on castor oil instead of $200 for surgery. plus i saved my 10 year old boxer from having to go under for surgery.

I have used castor oil on every huge wound on horses and big ones on dogs with no ill effects (for over 12 years), I have done it ever since a old bushie told me to use it on a horse that opened his chest on a steel fence post and vet advised to put down, horse healed without a scar and full muscle movement. It keeps flys away, though on a dog that can lick his self we had to bandage at first then, he then had a ice cream container on his head for a day. I am about to use it on a squamous cell carcinoma on a horses nose to see the effect will keep you updated... Oh and my mother had it placed on her foot when she sliced the ball just about off when she was a child and she has not had any problems with it, it doesn't burn but it does heat up so don't rub in at all pouring over is best and if you can not cover it it is better as have heard of it blistering. But have used on back legs of unhandled horses and if it hurt to apply they would have kicked me for sure, I hose down first so they get used to the water movement then pouring castor oil is not even felt and after the 3 day they just let me pour it on. It seems to settle the nerve ending and stop the pain...

Dear anyone who can help,

I have a cat with a tumor that has returned in the same spot for the third time and surgery is not possible for several reasons. I have searched everywhere for a holistic vet that treats pets using DMSO, but I cannot find one anywhere, even in the greater surrounding areas where I live, in fact I cannot even get an appointment to a regular vet for 3 weeks or more. I have been looking for several weeks now. I am rather desperate. I want to try the DMSO and hydrogen peroxide solution that you were so successful with. I have some questions though and was hoping you could help me out.

1. What is the ratio of DMSO to distilled water to used?

2. Do you make up a fresh batch before each time you apply it?

3. What is the ratio of H202 and distilled water to reduce the 35% hydrogen peroxide down to 6%?

4. What is the percentage of the DMSO solution to Hydrogen peroxide solution that you actually apply?

Is it 94% of the DMSO/distilled water solution to 6% of the HP/distilled water solution which makes 100%?

5. What is the ratio of H202 and distilled water to reduce the 35% hydrogen peroxide down to 3%?

6. Do the tumors just shrink, or did they open and drain?

I would soooooo appreciate it if you could help me out. I am quite desperate and feel very overwhelmed. I thank you greatly in advance for any help and any other suggestions you might have. Thank you!!!

Sincerely,

Liz

Darth's lump has almost stopped oozing, and I am keeping his neck clean with a warm cloth. Giving him his food he's eating more often, and giving him more Karo syrup. And lots of rest. I'm also putting triple antibiotic ointment on his hole so it does not get infected.

Castor Oil & Turmeric ---Update!

So, on the advice of someone, I switched to applying just straight castor oil to the belly tumor. I tried to give the turmeric in the food, but she wasn't having any of that! Apparently, she can tell if there is even the slightest amount in her food...refusal!! The tumor is disintegrating (rotting?) into small, thin, gray pieces of flesh that come off when I clean it. There is still a smell, but considering what is happening, I'm not surprised.

I've started giving her shark cartilage and 2-3 ml of aloe vera juice (inner filet) in her food as well. My poor kitty is also experiencing muscle wasting in her back legs, but I don't know how to stop or reverse that if possible. She can still walk and has strength but is just very skinny. I'm hoping that once the castor oil has done its job, that there will be some healthy flesh appearing soon on her belly.

Any advice as to what to do once the ragged edges of the tumor are healing? Do I keep it covered? I want to deter her from chewing at that area, that's why I have to keep her in a onesie, she will tear at the wound.

I discovered a lump about the size of a walnut shell on the lower front part of my Wheaten Terrier Bonnie's hind leg. I thought it was cancer and my vet agreed. We scheduled a surgery date. The vet showed me how it was easy to move the lump from side to side and said that indicated it hadn't metastasized.

That night I applied 50/50 DMSO and colloidal silver to the lump. The next morning it had shrunk and no longer looked inflamed. I called the vet and she said keep it up. I continued to apply this mix morning and evening for a few weeks and it continued to shrink into a smaller hard lump under the skin. I cancelled the surgery. When it got about the size of a marble it wasn't shrinking anymore, so I stopped the application. That was over two years ago, and the shriveled up lump is now about the size of a pea. A vet who recently saw Bonnie for another matter noticed the lump and she said she wouldn't worry about it. I honestly think we beat cancer. Bonnie also had a harmless fatty tumor (diagnosed by two vets) near her shoulder for years. When I applied the same mix to it, overnight it also shrunk up into a small condensed lump.

February 26, 2021 Update:

I took a little eye dropper bottle and filled it half with silver and half with DMSO. I took an empty bottle and filled it half with silver and half with DMSO, then shook it.

the silver was Source Naturals. I used a medicine dropper, then smoothed it gently with my finger to make sure it was covered. I suggest you try it on a small lump and see if you like the outcome, then take it from there. Please post and let us know.

May 20, 2021 Update

Recently the vet did a needle biopsy and it turned out to NOT be cancerous. I don't want to mislead anyone about anything so serious.

I just found out my dog, Jesse, a pug/manchester terrier mix, most likely has a brain tumor after two seizures 8 days apart....he has never had any before and he is 14. Pugs are very susceptible the vet said and his age. We are doing all the blood work, but she says it still is most likely he has a brain tumor. I have an medical grade ozone machine so I will put it in his ears and rectally every day.

I had a girl friend who dissolved her brain tumor mostly taking DMSO and applying it on her head. I need to know other things I can be doing and what the dosage of DMSO should be.. He is on a grassfed/organic mostly meat diet, no grains. Thanks for any help you can give. I love my dog awful!

Susan,

Maybe try the Panacur C fenbendazole for cancer. My cat has had two swollen red areas on her ear for ten months. When we took her to the vet last February, she took some samples and looked at them under her microscope and said they did not appear to be cancer, (the samples were not sent to a lab) but they will not heal. I have been giving her the fenbendazole for about four weeks now, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, then four days off as Joe Tippens recommends for humans, about 1/5 of a one gram packet. I mix it with her food. (Joe took 1 gram at 115 lbs. when he had cancer everywhere in his body, and continues with that today for maintenance, so I think 1/5 gram would be OK for my 15 lb. cat). They have become a dark color and almost seem to be going away, but come back again. Joe's site says it takes about ten weeks to work, and then continue for maintenance, in humans, so I will continue with this. I think this is the best choice, with at least 40 humans reporting their various cancers have disappeared. It can't hurt your pet, in any cast, because the recommended amount to worm a ten pound animal is 1 full gram for three days in a row. His liver and kidneys must be OK to clear it.

Best wishes.

If it were my pet, I would use a good squirt 2x/day on my pet. I would also use (at a differing time), Castor Oil Packs 3x/week (plenty of quality info on this very site) over the area, along with a few drops of Frankincense Oil. And surround your pet in your mind's eye with a green healing glow, which also helps. Thoughts are things and they're always going somewhere; so how about your pet's reality?

My dog has skin tumors, diagnosed with dermal hemangiosarcoma (and I'm pretty sure it's from his bad start in life, being emaciated and abused, then put in the pound, where he was fully vaccinated and subjected to neuter surgery while still in an emaciated state.) I've tried cannabis oil and applying turmeric paste (also have tried the Budwig diet on him, but he is exceedingly picky about what he will eat or take in his mouth, which is why I shoot liquid vitamins into his mouth directly. He has eaten some raw, but then changes his mind and wants something else. He never eats dog food - and mostly eats organic. He has not been vaccinated since he left the pound. The small red hemangiosarcoma tumors do tend to dry up and go away with application of the turmeric golden paste, but now he has a larger pink (not red) tumor on his sheath, and I'm concerned about that.

I'm wondering what is the BEST solution for that tumor. Surgery frightens me, as I had a bad experience with a dog getting surgery in the past.

Re: Janet In 07/06/2018 -

Thank you so much! I am working through this information implementing as quickly and thoroughly as possible. I'll reply in pieces. Progress so far, from this advice...

Calcium - oh shoot!?! I have stopped. Seaweed calcium powder had been advised by her holistic vet to be added to her meals because he felt home cooked meals would be nutrient deficient, and calcium was needed for the bone cancer. Apparently that was not good advice from the vet. I have been sprinkling moringa on her bowl of food too, but I see that it also has calcium in addition to other vitamins and protein. Does the moringa also need to be eliminated? I was depending on that for a bit of greens and bulk of nutrients not in the meat/broth itself.

I have now added the supplements D3 (20,000 iu) after lunch, and strontium 2000mg once a day a few hours before or after a meal.

Lysine remedy - we have just finished day 3. Questions:
1) I am unclear from Ted's protocol posts, and your reply here, what happens next after day 3?
2) Also, for a dog, is this only in the morning or is this also repeated in the evening?

Topical DMSO + castor oil - Question: how often should this topical treatment occur?
We have now completed 2 applications of mixed ratio, roughly, as DMSO 55% /castor-oil15%/iodine15%/aloe-juice15%/clove-oil 5 drops. I do not know the best % measurements though and preservative free aloe juice was the only product I could locate, not aloe vera oil. I did not yet have a wool or towel to do a castor-oil/DMSO pack, but instead just applied this other small mixture to her tumor lump with a natural sponge.

I look forward to replying with you more. How are your two dogs? I can tell you have worked through your own struggle and gained a lot of experience; and my heart goes out to you and all fur-parents trying to self educated and heal their pets.

The diet protocol looks like a good one, with the exception of Hemp/CBD Oil given orally.

It is imperative to treat this condition also locally or topically. Here is a list of topical remedies that will bring very good results. Magnet Therapy (the stronger the magnet the better), For starters, double some refrigerator mags and wrap them around the affected area for an extended period of time. When taken off, apply a mixture of DMSO gel mixed with high ppm Colloidal Silver over the entire area. Hemp/CBD Salve applied liberally will help considerably.

Also is very beneficial for fighting cancer and improving overall condition is applying or rubbing some Vit-E Oil anywhere on the skin surface where it can be absorbed into the body. Lots of otc E Oils but not usually effective enough for serious conditions, so add a few punctured softgels of Tocotreinols into the bottle and shake well. To further the efficacy of the Vit-E, sprinkle CoQ10 from capsules onto his/her food. This will greatly help energy & oxygen levels in all the cells thus starving the cancer cells.

Another good topical remedy is to rub the affected area with Povidone Iodine. Moisten a washcloth with filtered water and then saturate with 10% P.I.

Our boy loves raw fresh or frozen chicken feet. Fresh they are gone in few seconds while frozen is a treat he loves to chew on. Maybe you can try this. I totally understand not wanting to stress further by changing/withholding food too much. But yes raw is best. Even rarely cooked liver will supply lots of vitamins n minerals. LI can be taken internally, but as it is a harsh detoxer maybe not recommended. Just add the kelp to meals. I would consider the topical in two stages, the Li and Dmso clove, possibly castor, then the aloe castor on after treatment to soothe the skin. Aloe oil I couldn't find either and settled for pure gel. I have only used internally on myself but it is great for inflammation. Janet has given great advice in particular to support the liver (toxin excretion) so you want that pathway clear. I am unsure on the sugar, having seen many protocols with and without, maybe reduce the amount of honey. I second the advice of ditching the calcium supps, do more harm than anything, if you want calcium get it from foods. And the Mg and K2 and D3 will direct it. Baking soda is another great suggestion for cancer remedy. The mineral rich baths, sea salt, clay, borax, baking soda Epsom salts will be very beneficial and soothing, getting minerals in and toxins out without going through the mouth (stressing Kalli). Please keep us posted any developments.

Best, Teena

Dane Mom,

Sorry I missed your post, I usually check back. I do not know what I did.

Anyway, first I go with what I know. Something I know nothing about is moringa. But it is a food, a plant, nutrient dense. So in that case, I suspect your good. Ted does often discuss it, and references nutrient dense is not added or fortified with extra stuff. Nutrients, digestion, killing the cancer. Would be the focus and you are doing that.

Seaweed calcium, extracted. I personally would leave that behind. Food with whole nutrients. Dogs do not need much from veggies.

Yet I have been reading about vitamin A. Hard to absorb from supplements. But from carrots. We all sop it right up. It is a vitamin that is not discussed too much. I suspect this might help. It is the only veggies I use now. Pumpkin plain is a great addition for anal glands and any digestion issue that results in constipation or the runs. Quite a little miracle. 1/4 cup as needed.

So let me revise a little.

If I were starting today.

Bone broth warmed can be made or bought, organic, amazon and Co ops carry it. Carrot juice, you can buy it or juice it. MSM, powdered for pain and added sulfur. Coconut oil or MCT oil. Grass fed butter. Liver powder, make this up as a doggie bulletproof snack. You could use this for other supplements too. Selenium yeast, vitamin D, etc. Not the lysine remedy that is separate.

I use an $20 Oster blender. Broth, carrot juice all go in. This would be a snack, juicy yummy bone broth. Make a quart. Give a few oz a few x a day for more nutrients. Dense and rich.

The topical remedy is to penetrate to his bone and kill the cancer directly. So you could buy some fabric. Tear or fold an old clean tee shirt or two. Try to wash it clean of softener residue or store finishes. I wash all of mine in borax. No softener. Very toxic. But I rub it on. I use packs. Whatever I think will work. That Is different with each dog. Often as I can. Which means I am fallible. I had to take a day to breathe. Your dogs are as dependent as babies, look to us to fix the bad. Ted always recommends a break, for the patient, for you too I suspect. I had laser eye. I watched them endlessly. Everything. What I found out was I could rely on Teds advice. Took me a long time to not watch them like a hawk.

They were vaccinated, over vaccinated, I tried to undo that and build immunity.

That is the lysine remedy. You can give it hourly 4 doses, have lunch and restart a round at night for 2 hourly or 4. What I noticed was they felt better. With our Golden he was a very big dog with a bad thyroid. I would give more of the remedy. Particular to labs and Golden's, their skin does not absorb well neither does their fur. So I never thought the topical was enough. My thinking, not a real fact.

So here is where I am a little lost. I cannot remember if I mentioned Teds alkalinity drink. So if I did not. 2 tbsp of Apple cider vinegar in a glass, add 1/2 tsp baking soda. Let fizz. Add 1/2 glass of water. Split into 2 doses syringe in 2 x a day 1/2 hour after food. Baking soda kills cancer. Ted says when you have nothing to lose, this is the winner. Baking soda is anticancer, cancer killer. It emulsifies old fats. It removes what does not belong.

Because bone cancer is so serious, I would be throwing everything effective at it. Topically and internally.

I keep my notes taped to my daily schedule and refer often. Right on my cabinet door. I make as much as I can ahead. Usually no more than 3 days ahead of use. The Apple Cider Vinegar remedy every day fresh.

So 3 additions I think might help.

Tannic acid, used in wine making in serious illness a real healer drops can be added to food.

Buy a few ounces from Amazon. 1/8 tsp in 1 liter of water. Add 5 drops to each meal. Can be constipating. So there is pumpkin if needed.

EDTA this is a soap and a great blood cleaner. Possibly will help prevent cancer from spreading. Removing it harmlessly through elimination. Refrigerate.

Tetrasodium EDTA, not calcium EDTA 30% EDTA in a mason jar. Add 70% spring water. Let dissolve. Cap and shake. 10 drops on food. Excellent circulation clearing. We use it all the time.

I do not know if we discussed borax. 20 Mule Team Borax. To remove existing fluoride toxins from his bones and joints. 1/8 tsp in a liter of water add a few drops when you refill water for him. It will help remove the deadly toxin from his body.

Remember you cannot run yourself down, trying. You cannot pour from an empty cup.

Bulletproof is a great boost for anyone. Made with coffee or broth or tea. 1 cup in the blender. Add 1 heap of collagen, 1 tbsp of MCT, 1 tbsp of butter. Blend and drink. Amazing real help.

I will check more carefully for replies if I missed something. Janet

Hi Janet - thank you, again, I am trying to move everything forward and will surely have ongoing questions. You are a wealth of information and am glad (maybe even envious) of your connection to Ted. I am new to this site but can see his immense influence and knowledge.

I am following through and have a few questions:

1) Lysine - Question: Do I continue doing this pace ongoing indefinitely? I kept seeing reference to "3 days" and then was unsure what happened after that 3 day period. Update on our progress since last post: We took a 2 day break and then have continued the combination of 2000mg Lysine, 500mg Threonine, 1000 mg Vitamin C every hour for 4 hours AM and PM. I have also added the powder from a K2 capsule and also Milk Thistle just because it was convenient to add to the mixture instead of pushing the pills. This is all added to spring water and given by a syringe.

Tannic Acid - Question: Are all tannic acid powders the same? I want to start this immediately. I've not been able to locate it and I want to be accurate. Do you have a link you can share? There is a wine tannic acid powder and a chem lab tannic acid on Amazon.com. Only one of them states its source, as grape stems and skins. The pending patent and study shows the source as "To obtain the active tannic acid and tannin complexes, the trunk of any of the plants of the Musaceae Family" which is a banana tree and does not mention grape.

Tannic Acid - Sharing: read this! I found this patent online and include many very intriguing patient cures on the bottom and a long list of cancers which tannic acid could be effective for - including osteosarcoma. https://patents.google.com/patent/EP1005350A1/en

Doggie Bulletproof (I love this!) - Question 1: Is your recipe to include the carrot juice + bone broth + butter (all other ingredients listed in that paragraph)? Question 2: Can raw or fresh-simmered liver be used instead of powers or is that less appetizing for our doggie snack?

Enzymes - Other than the Natto, and the Lysine/Threonine routine. I do not know what enzymes to be giving Kalli for osteosarcoma. What did Ted recommend?

I am sure I will have more for you soon Janet. Thank you for the tip on self care too. I am living 24/7 for this terrible cancer and trying to save my Kalli-love.

Osteosarcoma Remedies

Dane Mom

I forgot the vitamin D and Enzymes.

Vitamin D by weight is 40 to 70iu per lb. Body weight. So about 49,000iu a day at the high end. 40,000iu at the low end. Check my math. At least during this challenging time, possibly.

Enzymes, this is a puzzle for me. Ted recommends lots of enzymes during this time to breakup and emulsify out tumors.

The problem I see with that is giving them on an empty tummy. Maybe you have that pill pusher that pushes a pull into throat. A Dane would have an enormous mouth to try to give capsules by hand. Lots of bromelain and protein digesting enzymes on an empty stomach if you can. Aside from the natto.

More stuff, too much stuff. I know. Some will resonate some will not. I feel that you want to know everything. Then can sort what you wish to incorporate as you go along.

Good Morning,

this is a very long post for our Buddy regarding his Squamous Cell Carcinoma inside his mouth which has formed a tumor seen outside also almost the size of a golf ball, so if you don't have time (I've gotten to the point first) or if you are going to say something negative (we are not interested, so take it to bed with you) my purpose is wanting to know if anyone is familiar with any type of homeopathic remedy topically put on a dogs tumor which is digestible being his tumor is inside his mouth (can be rubbed outside if that works too)..I've read about castor oil and turmeric applied with a cheesecloth also I've read about salve (scared to put this in his mouth) plus other remedies and I'm so confused. My result is we need to shrink or rot this tumor so it falls off...gross I know but it is possible.

Also if anyone has experience with Chemotherapy in the form of Palladia orally at home or Carboplatin infusions please give me your experience with this, I may have waited too long though considering I was concerned it would cause organ damage or suppress his immune system.

if anyone recalls our cocker Spaniel Buddy was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma cancer tumor on the left side of his face inside of his mouth unfortunately. They gave him 2 months to live back in March 2017, next visit in August they gave him 4 months to live so now I don't pay much attention to that.

Everyday I do what I do to keep Buddy healthy. It seems like a lot but his morning ritual take about 30 minutes and making his food monthly about another 30 minutes. It's become part of my daily life. The most exhausting part is not daily but the research and reading I do weekly.

Buddy immediately after the diagnosis went on an

*all natural protein and vegetable diet which I make at home monthly and freeze (Dusty loves it too)
*he takes several vitamins for his immune system,
*the Budwig Protocol which includes emulsified cottage cheese and flaxseed 2 x daily,
*2 types of eye drops considering the tumor is pushing on his eye which can lead to infection. Thankfully Chris prescribes it!!
*CBD oil just in case he is in pain daily
*I found a pill from Japan that stops the bleeding in a day or 2 every once in awhile when the tumor bleeds which is normal
*weekly walks
*groomer comes to him so he's not exposed to other dogs and I've stopped his immunizations for various reasons,
*he has comfortable beds and areas on the sofa with blankets all over the house so he can relax wherever.

I Just recently started giving him Essiac tea 2x daily to drink and I'll see if it makes a difference. I have experimented with other natural remedies and vitamins but don't continue if I don't see a change.

Buddy is doing great in every aspect as far as eating well, sleeping, energy level, looks pretty happy other then the tumor has and is still growing..

I'm looking for a miracle which is something to stop the growth and shrink or kill the tumor 😟 Buddy and I open minded and flexible and he is very cooperative and takes anything I give him.

I'll be taking him back to the oncologist to follow up. Last time we saw her blood test we are good as far as organs doing well.

Dear Jess,

The oozing from the tumor does seem to be common, but surely distressing. I do think it may be blood and other fluids, in other words, may not be quite as much blood loss as it would appear.

Pale gums would be a sign of having lost too much blood.

Giving your dog blackstrap would help build the blood, as would a chlorophyll supplement.

Personally, even if the draining is normal and expected, (it seems to happen a lot) I would probably want to keep it controlled too like you are doing with cayenne and pressure.

Keep us posted.

Our 4 year old doberman was diagnosed with a nasal tumor today. They have not done a full biopsy yet to determine what type of tumor because during the exam they noticed a heart arrhythmia. Now we need to bring him to a cardiologist to be sure he can withstand sedation for the biopsy. The specialist recommended radiation as treatment. Most of the articles I have read today concur with this treatment since surgery does not prolong the life of the animal and radiation seems to be really the most common treatment. However the life expentancy is 3 to 12 months with this conventional treatment. We are looking for alternative medicine that could help. If the cardiologist says his heart cant withstand sedation than we would not have the option of radiation since they need to specifically know the type and location of the tumor for that treatment. So, alternative is medicine is what we need. He is just a sweet and beautiful young baby and this news is devastating to us. I have read about the castor oil therapy. I wondered if anyone has used this with success for a malignant nasal tumor? Any advice would be welcome.

Dear Paul,

I am sorry about your dog's tumor/bleeding!

Is it enough bleeding that you are concerned about blood loss or just that there is an increased discharge?

You might try giving some blackstrap or even chlorophyll if blood loss is a concern. How big is your dog?

I would give a 100 pound dog as much as a Tablespoon of blackstrap and several tablespoons of Chlorophyll each day to make up for blood loss.

If it is just draining/oozing, I would try to keep it clean, perhaps with povidone iodine. Turmeric can be used in wounds to prevent infection. So can honey.

If the bleeding is severe, cayenne pepper will stop bleeding. We have used it in wounds. It sounds like it would sting, but it really doesn't. But if you dog was inclined to lick at the wound, it would not be pleasant for him. Cayenne can be used internally also to stabilize bleeding but I have never given it to a dog. I am not sure how he would take it.

Keep us posted on Jed's progress! It is hard to see our beloved pets suffer...

Dear Paul,

What a happy update. So glad to hear it.

Yes, I would keep the hole clean. It should repair itself over time. Honey, topically, may help the wound to heal more quickly if he wouldn't lick it all out.

Dear Paul,

Sounds like you are doing great stuff already for Jed.

Is it possibly that he has injured it or had a bee sting?

I would continue what you are doing and perhaps try hydrotherapy, which is just fancy for alternating warm and cool compresses. I have found this to work surprisingly well to reduce swelling.

Use two bowls of water, one warm and one cool. (Not hot and cold - too shocking.)

You start with a cool cloth and hold it on the inflammation for 30 seconds or so. Then switch to warm for 20 seconds or so. Continue back and forth for 7 applications total (4 cool - begin and end with cool.)

This can be done several times a day if he seems comfortable with it.

You could also try a bentonite clay poultice if you could get some clay. French Green clay would do as well.

I mix the clay with water to get a paste using non metal containers and utensils. I spread the clay onto a clean cloth and fold it into an envelope like thing and apply to the swelling. I usually put plastic wrap then cohesive tape to keep it on. (Sticks to itself but not to fur and is hard for animals to remove.) It does help with pain, also.

I know you will keep us posted on his progress!

Dear Paul,

I think you are going to become an expert on treating this sort of thing!

What you are doing sounds good and yes, castor oil sounds like a good plan.

You might consider Essiac Tea if you could find some where you are. It has helped many people with tumors and also been used successfully with pets. It is a mild tasting herb blend that you make into a tea. It would probably be remedy to keep him on for life. Essiac contains burdock root, slippery elm, Sheep sorrel and turkey rhubarb.

Essiac for People, with detailed directions - https://www.earthclinic.com/herbs/essiac-tea.html

If you are seeing some weeping in those two little holes I wonder if the tumor is about to drain.

Hi Mama for Many

Thank you so Much for your kind words it is much appreciated. Jed was a dog in a million.

I actually took the trouble of looking up the meaning of his name and were it came from and it is Hebrew which I never would have guessed and jed means "Friend of God" which was quite apt for Jed as he was such a kind hearted dog.

All the best

Paul

Try injecting massive doses of vitamin c intravenously. It will cure almost everything. Use potasium ascorbate (less acid less pain).
