Egg whites:

My mom used this as a remedy for me growing up. It absolutely works for minor kitchen burns. It forms a nice "fake" skin over the area too, protecting the burn from the air. Just separate yolks and fill a small container with the whites.

VERY IMPORTANT FOR YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONES.

I had the unpleasant experience of being burned to the second degree in my face and even my eyes by boiling water. Fortunately, my wife remembered having heard about egg white as the best cure. Indeed it was. She applied many coats of egg white all over my face immediately after the accident. In all she applied at least 20 coats, leaving each coat to dry for a few minutes. It creates a second skin that cuts 100% of the pain in a minute, so much that I was able to sleep the night it happened.

That new egg white skin contains an amazing amount of natural important vitamins. A friend also told her to give me abundant doses of vitamin C, D3, and E. I took at least 20,000 mg of Vitamin C per day, devided in 2000 to 3000 mg every hour. I didn't mind taking it at night. I had the best surprise after less then 5 days, to see my face completely healed, although I had lost the original skin. It was amazing, not even a single scar. My face skin looked even better than before as it's brand new. All my friends couldn't believe their eyes how fast it healed. I lost only 3 days of work. I have to mention that we went to the doctor, but only after I was healed just to double check if everything was ok. He said he wouldn't have done better and he even took note of what we did. Don't ever forget that amazing natural cure that can save pain and problem for you or your loved ones.

This is the first time that I have ever posted to a site like this, but I felt that I had to share my story. Last night my husband was cooking dinner and when he opened the oven door, my 19 month old son touched the oven. His poor little fingers blistered up and he began screaming. I put aloe vera on it, and he finally cried himself to sleep. I thought that I was going to have to take him to the doctor, but after reading the suggestions on this site, I decided that I had nothing to lose. While he was sleeping, I soaked paper towels in egg whites and placed it over the burns and wrapped it with an ace bandage. When he woke up this morning, there is no trace of a burn on his hand. I am totally amazed..... thank all of you so much for your posts.

EGG WHITES!!! I burned both my hands with hot oil while I was cooking. The burning would not STOP, after about 7 hours of constantly running to the ice water bowl I had created, I decided to try some home natural remedies as I desperately needed some relief of the awful burning stinging sensation. I read about egg whites and to my surprise it was working!! But it really worked, it took the stinging pain out right away, and I was able to then put on cream and a bandage. Thanks everyone for your experiences. I hope my review can help someone too!

The egg whites worked to cure my burn! I read the aluminum foil reviews but got the impression with that method the pain is pretty bad for a bit before it gets better. It seemed to be that the relief is more immediate with the egg whites so decided to go with that remedy instead. Well it worked like a charm... Right away I had his cooling sense and the pain subsided. I put the whites of 2 eggs in a bowl and just immersed my finger in there. If I took my finger out the pain would be back in seconds but as soon as I put it back in the whites it would just dissappear. So I kept it dunked in for an hour while watching tv and by the time my show was done I could take it out with no pain. No blister formed at all. I'm a believer! Try egg whites.

I burnt my left hand with boiling water on the palm and through the fingers through to the front of my hand. I tried to cool it down with a jug of cold water for about 2 hours but the pain just came back everytime I took it out of the water - and then I found this site. I would never have believed it but the egg whites have done the trick - I soaked my hand in them for half an hour and the pain is gone!! Unbelievable!! Thank you everyone who posted here - I would never have tried it if it wasn't for all these posts.

I am so glad I found this website- or I would still be howling, "Mom, it HURTS!!! " You should try egg whites. First, I got a bowl of egg whites with a basting brush. Then, I spread the whites all over my burn. (by the way, I burned myself on the glass covering the fireplace. ) I also put plastic wrap and tin foil on the whites, but that's optional. Well, that didn't work, so I just poured the whites onto a plate and stuck my hand in. I kept it in there for about 20 minutes. Then, once, I stuck my hand out of the egg whites, and it stopped hurting. Go wash your hands, and you'll be out and playin' in no time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

I have been using egg whites on my burns for years. It is a miracle cure. my pain subsides almost immediately and it almost never blisters. When you put it on allow it to dry and dont wash off. it seals the burn and I believe that is the KEY. Try 1x and you will never use anything else again.

I tried the egg whites remedy today for somewhat severe burns to my fingertips. I had been holding ice to them for 20 - 30 minutes, but the pain was still killing me. Tried one hour of soaking in egg white then allowing to dry and cake on my fingers. The pain was gone after an hour, and the blisters that were forming first completely stopped forming, and then subsided. Am using those fingers now to type, and that was just this morning, less than 12 hours ago.

My girlfriend spilled a over hot cup of black coffee that she had placed in the microwave for 2 minutes, the coffee spilled down her shirt and burned the middle of her breasts and unto the breast, the first thing she did was grab ice, I did not realize how bad the burn was. She started crying, when I finally convinced her to let me look at it, it was awful.

I ran to the computer and keyed bad burn, this site came up and there were a few different solutions, I looked at the largest YEA and found the egg white solution. I cracked about 4 eggs had her lay down and poured them on the burns, within 5 minutes, she told me that if felt much better. So now I am telling you EGG WHITES are the trick for the burn. She is just now going to bed, with dried eggwhite on her breast and chest and seriously she couldnt be happier. Thank you so much!

Egg whites work wonderful for soothing a painful burn and help speed the healing process. Egg whites mixed in a baking soda paste is good too.
