For Chronic Sinusitis, go down to 'methods' on this article: http://www.omicsonline.org/2155-6121/2155-6121-2-109.php

It gives techniques for draining the sinuses and nasal passages. I had to look up the anatomical terms on wikipedia, but I tried it once on myself (looking at the ceiling) and there was definitely increased drainage and some noticeable clearing up. Some of the steps might be a little difficult to do on yourself, but still possible - though your thumbs might have to point the other way.

I have suffered with really bad sinus for over 2 years. It has been getting worse and worse to the point that I could not even smell or taste anything for over a year! I was in my local Dischem chemist looking for yet another cure when the sales assistant asked me if I ate BANANAS???? Bananas??? She said I should just try cutting them out for a month. Well, I had already cut out dairy, wheat, sugar all to no avail so it was worth a try.

It's been over 6 months now and no more sneezing, sinus and my taste and smell have returned!!!! JUST AMAZING!!! It's apparently NOT the actual Banana that causes the sinus allergy.... But the gas they use to artificially ripen the Bananas!!!

Thank you earthclinic and everyone who has shared his/her healing experiences. I have just had a sinusitis relapse (last bad one was in 1997) and a real mean one. I have to admit that the root cause for my sinusitis was stress, feeling depressed and low spirited. I tried the remedies posted on earthclinic - hydrogen peroxide, diluted it as instructed, flushed my nose. That was a painful experience. It brought out a lot of disgusting mucus, and I could breathe ok and slept well that night. Only that the next day, my nose started to be runny again. At the same time, I was taking a tablespn of ACV/lemon juice/honey mixture (of 2 tablespn each of ACV, lemon & 1 tblspn of honey) in warm water. That helped clear the slimy feeling in my mouth, but my nose continued to drip.

Then I went for an accupressure session. During the session, I had to interrupt my therapist 3x to clear my dripping nose. As I chatted with her, I then remembered that in one of my research reading of meridien/accupuncture points I learnt that the accupuncture points to treat sinusitis are the GV (governing vessel) as well as the LI (large intestine). This makes a lot of sense that I need to clean up my bacteria infested LI and colon. By doing a 7 day juice n coffee enema detox, 15 years ago, I cured my sinusitis. Also, I was given some TCM to further assist the healing. That night, possibly a healing reaction occuring, my nosy dripped more snot and I coughed more phlegm until I fell asleep.

The next morning day I made up mind my to start cleansing my internals - started with an OP with sunflower oil; prepared my enema coffee, washed my enema bucket with hydrogen peroxide, down a cup of ACV/lemon juice/honey warm drink and a 2nd drink adding a teaspn of colon cleanse powder spirulina. Half an hour later I did my coffee enema adding a teaspoon of ACV into the coffee before the enema. An enema is a quick way to relieve pain, discomfort and a quick fix for down moments, but I have to admit it can be addictive! I definitely feel much better after the enema. For the whole day, I watched my diet, no dairy, no fried foods, continued with the colon cleanse, OP and reluctantly did another hydrogen peroxide flush. Will continue this regimen for the next 3 days n up to 7 days if needed.

I hope the information I have shared here will help in one way or another. BTW, I'm 50, mother of 3 and haven't touched antibiotics for the last 15 years. Life has been full of challenges but it's been good! :)

In conclusion, just doing one therapy is insufficient to cure. A combination of therapies works better especially when the immune system such as mine is sluggish and the bacteria is persistent.

Hydrogen Peroxide
Posted by Ejules (Woodbridge, Va, Us) on 03/28/2013

I don't use it for those things but I've read that you should dilute hydrogen peroxide before using. Never use it straight because it will damage your tissues, e.g., ear canal, gums, etc.

Sinus Infections, Tinnitus and Fibromyalgia: I was curious on the link between chronis sinusitis, and tinnitus as well as fibro fatigue. I've used several rinses, 2 failed Sinus surgerie s(never do again) etc. Has anyone used hydrogen peroxide in their ears or as a nasal rinse? I was reading Jacob Teitelbaum's "From Fatigued to Feeling Fantastic", and "Beat Sugar Addiction Now".

Weight Loss and Sinusitis

My husband went on a serious vegetarian diet to lose weight and went from 210 lbs to 170 lbs. The problem is with most people that lose weight fast is that they lose protection from the cold weather. The fat loss causes them to be very cold.

The weight loss causes a reaction with their sinuses. My husband as well as others that lost weight fast have runny sinuses, clear liquid coming from their sinuses. One doctor explained that it's the body's way of stopping these people from breathing cold air. It's a defense mecanism due to losing their normal body fat.

When it is cold my husband has sinus problems. He never had this problem before. In Canada people that lost weight within 6 months are suffering tremendously from the cold. Good news is that every year the sinus problem decreases.

I used the blow dryer on my husband's body and that helped him feel better. And we live in sunny California!

I've just started the ACV method today for my sinusitis and I'm amazed how well it works! I did 2TBSP in 8oz water with some honey and suger. I did want to post something interesting I found online though about the vaginal discharge someone said cleared up when using this method.

http://www.ehow.com/how_5618963_eliminate-yeast-overgrowth-sinuses.html

According to this article the sinusitis is actually a yeast infection!! So I'm wondering if the ACV 'killed' two birds with one stone :)

Eliminate Dairy
Posted by Robert (Katy, Texas) on 12/19/2012

I don't believe that "eliminating Dairy" will resolve the issue but, eliminating all commercial grade dairy (vs. Raw milk) will. Unfortunetly, just about every dairy related product in grocery stores has... commercial grade milk.

Here in the Houston/Katy area, we go out to the country to raw milk farmers and buy from them (average is $7 a gallon). My twin daughters have allergies, asthma & ADHD. All have shown to be reduced by switching. Only long term usage will tell.

Who am I? Just a very concerned father.

Yep. You read it here. I did too, and have been doing it ever since. The onion and honey help the nagging leftover cough and bronchitis after a cold. Nothing I ever tried works instantly though. A little too much to hope for, but I care more that it's safe and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I have had sinus infections for over 15 years, repeatedly and often, and have had two sinus surgeries which haven't helped. I have been told by Drs that sinus infections can only be cured by antibiotics. Glad I have wisened up! I tell everyone I know about Earth Clinic.

I recently gave my daughter honeyed onion juice for a hacking cough and it helped her cough to go away (I think I read about that on Earth Clinic). This time when she got a cough I was in the full throes of another sinus infection, which I had been too busy to really feel coming on. I have since learned to try to treat them right off with grapefruit seed extract, and I was already doing that, but this time I had the honeyed onions on the table, so I tried a piece of an onion. They are very high in sulfur and I don't know if that is the element that helps, but IMMEDIATELY my facial pressure and pain was GONE. I'm talking right away. I have been eating the onion throughout the day today and every time, the pressure is gone and I feel like I'm getting better. My sinuses drain out and I can breathe!

This is how you make it-- peel an onion and cut into fours or eights and then pull the layered pieces apart. Pour honey over top covering all the onion and let sit for a while. The honey pulls the liquid out of the onion and causes the honey to become more viscous. (You can drink this and it helps a cough go away. ) Eat the onion chunks and it will help your sinuses-- WIN/WIN! I just eat one onion chunk whenever I feel sinus pressure, so you can keep one bowl for several days until your infection is gone.

Air Purifier
Posted by Rose1954 (Ludington, Michigan) on 10/30/2012

I have severe sinistitus and nothing seems to work either. My nose also bleeds, but that is from just blowing my nose. According to my doctor if your nose bleeds it is because you're blowing your nose too hard. I still havent concured the lightly blowing of ones nose, lol.

I also have an air purifier and it seemed to work at the beginning, but now it doesn't seem as noticable as in the beginning. Nasal sprays to me are too floral and I just dont like the effects I get after using them. Seems to upset my stomach after I use them, plus the gagging reflex from the smell which makes you taste it as it runs down your throat.

Am I wrong or are you also suggesting sinistitus is connected to people whom have asthma? Which I just started coming down with within the last 10 years. If so then that is an amazing concept.

correction concerning my previous post: I take 4-5 grams of baking soda a day not teaspoons. 4-5 teasoons would be the equivalent of 20-25 grams a day, way too much. I generally take 1/4 teaspoon (1. 2325 g) in the morning and at night with ACV and herbal tea and the 1/2 teaspoon mixed in the water bottle that I drink throughout the day. Generally comes out to about 4-5 grams of baking soda daily.

Hi Apy, I woke up with a headache on 7/8/9 and it never went away - I have lately got it down from an 8 to a 2 or 3 and can mentally deal with it. Long story short -- sphenoid sinus sealed off creating a horribly pressure filled headache that made me want to jump off a bridge on a daily basis -- I also believe it was mold/fungal/chemical induced by working in a sick building for 12 years where they laid carpet with no ventilation right after my 2nd sinus surgery. I had to resign from my job and none of the county officials would take any responsibility for what happened to me. I say karma is a you know what. Three years later I am still here -- I did not really get any help from western medicine, but thanks to Earthclinic and a book called Forbidden Healing by the brilliant Captain TC Randall, I feel I am on the right path back to hopefully a normal life. I have had 6 CT scans of the sinuses and brain and now am a little worried about the residual effect of radiation, but am taking it one day at a time. Also way too many antibiotics which reeked havoc in my body causing EMF and chemical sensitvity. Who knew that Vitamin C, baking soda, sea salt, lemons, coconut oil, AC vinegar, herbs, cutting out sugar, iodine, etc can get one feeling back to somewhat of a normal life and not break the bank since my illness wiped me out financially before I found this site.

Glad you are doing well because I can sympathise with your problem -- you don't see too many people with sphenoid sinus issues. I also want to sincerely thank Earthclinic for providing a wealth of valuable information to those of us who have reached the end of their rope -- it is priceless and I feel fortunate and lucky to have found it. I hope all of you find profound healing on your journeys.

I would like to state that up until a short while ago I have suffered from severe chronic sinusitis for 14 years. I am 34 years old and I am in my final stages of completing a medical degree and had chronic sinus pain and congestion for every second, literally every second since my highschool graduation. While I studied biology as an undergraduate I had brain fog and pain through all of the laboratories and had to give up sports and social life just to study and finish. I had two operations in the US and two in Italy, and no! I never asked for surgery, the ent's said that was the only thing to do. After a very delicate operation on my sphenoid sinuses at the skull base last year I thought I had finally resolved my problem because it was never operated on and the surgeon is a good one.

Unfortunately like the other operations all the symptoms came back and last winter I had a horrible headache, no concentration, brain fog, gas, athletes foot, starch cravings, internal itching inside my nose and head and intestines, and nobody supported me at all. It was at this point that I decided to research this problem, I couldn't study medicine properly anyways because of the anguish of the symptoms. I started treating my symptoms as if they were related to fungal overgrowth based on the research I found and the testimonials from sites like this one. I often find this topic to be considered "alternative medicine" but there are many formerly trained scientists and physicians who have referenced this ailment and it seems to me it is only alternative because it does not receive enough attention from the mainstream medical community. I started with baking soda and apple cider vinegar with some honey and wow IMMEDIATE RESULTS. I felt the ups and downs from more energy to flu like symptoms (Herxheimer). I felt I was on to something and I was surely desperate so I started studying again basic medical sciences such as pathology and also mycology (the study of fungi) and in the end I was able to improve my symptoms so dramatically and I will tell you what I did.

1) Baking soda - I spoke with a kidney specialist I know and about the safety because they work extensively with acids and bases and in small regular doses it is not dangerous, but it is always best to careful. I take 4-5 teaspoons a day, when I have time I also mix it with apple cider vinegar and some honey and I usually do not take it from friday through the weekend. I generally mix 1/2 teaspoon with one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and then add a tablespoon of honey and top it off with hot green tea, which I make at the same time. I also add another half teaspoon of baking soda alone to a half liter water bottle and drink it throughout the day, one third of a bottle every 4-5 hours. Be careful if you have any kidney problems and DO NOT CONFUSE TEASPOONS FOR TABLESPOONS because 4-5 tablespoons can make you very sick.

2. Colloidal Silver - I have taken this product for many years and I always took it sparingly because I didn't want to turn blue. In reality my research has found only a few cases in the world of Argyria and the EPA sets limits for its safety and I do not exceed that limit and I now take 5 ml of 40 ppm colloidal silver that I make from a high concentration of 240 ppm and it really works. I usually add 1 ml of 240 ppm colloidal silver to 5 ml saline.

3. MSM - I mix 1/4 teaspoon in an ounce of saline (30ml) and put it in my nose a few hours before I put the colloidal silver solution in my nose. It seems to help the inflammation.

4. Vitamin C powder - I take 10 grams of vitamin c powder daily and it really helps boost my immune system and I am sure it suppresses the inflammation. I take 5 grams twice daily. It can cause some diarrhea so some people might want to divide the dose a little. See Linus Paulings research on this for further information

5. Candida Clear - I take as directed to clear the yeast / fungi from my system.

6. Probiotics (acidophilus etc.) - I always take probiotics at least 6 hours from taking the candida clear.

7. Liquid Oxygen - as directed in order to improve oxygenation.

8. Healthy anti-candida diet - I avoid starch and limit my intake of meat to 6-7 times a month.

9. Avoid antibiotics if possible.

10. Ground flax seeds or omega 3 fish oil - for inflammation

I don't have any intention to tell people what to do and I respect everyone's right to research and find what works for them. The main reason for writing this post is because I am a traditional medical student with a degree in biology and have always thought that through drugs and surgery I could beat this, but it was only by the treatments above that I now feel better than I have in the last 14 years. As a medical student I really shouldn't acknowledge any of the above but this cocktail worked for me and surgery, antibiotics and cortisone made things a lot worse. The only thing I would like to say regarding this the products mentioned above is that you have to stick with it for many months and I hope I am providing useful information for those who live with the nightmare of chronic sinusitis.

After months of battling chronic sinusitis, I found a few things that have helped alot. First, I eliminated fungul friendly foods. (Sugar and white flour are about the worse. ) Next, I learned to sleep only on my back or sides; earlier I always slept on my tummy and this caused more congestion. Finally, after lots of research and findings on my own; I no longer try to blow or clean out my sinus---for that very act is taking over a process which the body is perfectly able to do on its own. I hope this helps.

Xylitol Nasal Spray
Posted by James (Moorpark, Ca) on 09/03/2012
★★★★★

I'm a 29 year old male who has suffered with recurrent bouts of acute sinusitis for years. In the past two years, it's gotten really bad (about 6-8 bad infections per year, with more time spent sick than not). I've tried just about every do it yourself, home remedy sort of deal, and what I've found is that -- by far and away -- the most effective measure I can take in addition to taking certain potent antibiotics as prescribed, along with standard stuff (guafnesin, keeping well hydrated, good sleep & diet, occasional psuedoephedrine) is a daily nasal lavage and a "flooding" treatment with a 5% solution of Xylitol.

After trying numerous different biocidal agents, from hydrogen peroxide to diluted Listerine, to clorhexidine mouthwash to colloidal silver, Xylitol stands out as the best one for the job. For not only does it have outstanding biocidal activity against pathogenic colonizations of the bacterial flora that typically reside in the human oronasal cavity, as confirmed by numerous studies to date. It also is, unlike all the other biocides mentioned (besides perhaps colloidal silver), not harmful to the mucosa in any way. Not only that: its application also actually helps to moisturize and thus lubricate the mucosa over and above saline solution. If my hunch is correct, this peculiar property of Xylitol helps to restore, during times of infection, the normal action of the cilia, those microhair-structures that push secreted mucus out and away from the site of the infection. What's more, Xylitol is readily soluble in water, and is thus a natural osmolyte, meaning that it alters the osmotic pressure water places upon the cells of your mucus membranes. A 5% solution contains the exact ratio of Xylitol to water that is needed to keep the solution isotonic to your body's cells, meaning that the solution will exert no untoward pressure on the cell membranes, and thus cause no further irritation of the mucosa. Whereas a hypotonic solution (5%) WILL cause irritation - something that must be avoided in order for the mucosa to effectively heal.

Unfortunately for the consumer, most commercial Xylitol products marketed for sinus health carry a hefty price tag - which is ridiculous, given how cheap the chemical itself is to manufacture, and how much Xylitol you're actually getting in a premade solution. Good thing that Xylitol is available in bulk form as a sweetener -- I purchased a 3 lb. Bag of Xylosweet bran from a local healthfood store for 20 dollars. Also, it's good news, I've discovered, that after over 10 years of having taken it in High School, I've just brushed up on my Chemistry by studying for and taking the Chemistry CLEP exam, which has really come in handy as of today.

For the past few weeks, I'd been making my own Xylitol solutions using store bought Xylitol crystals. I have not been exacting about the ratio of Xylitol to water until today, when it dawned upon me that trial and error wasn't really cutting it. My mucus membranes, reason being, were still feeling agitated by the act irrigating them; something, I reasoned, needed to change in my approach. So, taking an example from the studies and abstracts I'd read online, I set about trying to make a solution that was exactly 5% in my nasal irrigator, whose capacity is 240 ml.

Now, the specific gravity of Xylitol is 1.52 grams/ml, whereas water's is 1. What this means for our purposes as sinus sufferers, is that per every volume of water to be mixed, 0.075 of the same in Xylitol must be utilized to provide a 5% solution. For 240 ml of solution, this amounts to about 20 ml of Xylitol and 240 ml of water. Of course, I'm using crystalline Xylitol, which has air gaps etc. That makes for an imperfect conversion from volume to weight, but from the results I've experienced, I do believe that there is such a thing in this case as close enough. 20 ml amounts to about the same as a heaping tablespoon (roughly 4 teaspoons).

I have tried this amount and found that it makes for a very pleasant washing experience -- even smoother and more comfortable than what I've felt utilizing pre-mixed, store bought, buffered Neilmed sinus rinse packets. I use a pulsatile irrigator that can be purchased at most drugstores -- the NeilMed "Sinugator" -- and as a rule, I irrigate in multiple iterations per session, until all the purulent gunk has been pushed from the sinus cavity, and the discharge out of the exit nostril and into the sink runs completely clear.

After irrigating in this way today, I took an empty squeeze bottle of about 450 ml. In volume, and added 35 ml. of Xylitol to it, filling the rest with water, again attempting to recreate as close to a 5% solution as is practicable/necessary. I then squirted this solution into either nostril, while laying in bed, per a "sinus flooding" protocol originally developed by an ENT on the East coast for use with Mesosilver brand colloidal silver. To put it simply, I filled my sinuses up until solution was overflowing from the nostrils, and laid down in bed for about 5 minutes, my head flat on the bed with no pillow underneath it. Then, I pinched my nose and, while holding it, turned belly down, with my head leaning over the edge of the bed. I held the solution there for about a minute, discharged it into the sink, and irrigated one more time.

It's been about an hour since all this has transpired, and I am already feeling the positive effects. My right maxillary sinus cavity has been severely compromised by this disease over the years, with discharge often being bloody, and a practically permanent sensation of swelling and pain in the tissues that surround it, even when it's not acutely infected. The relief I'm currently experiencing from this is nothing short of remarkable, and I believe it has everything to do with keeping the ratio of Xylitol to water as exact as I can, with my methods being a little haphazard/inaccurate.

When I am able to purchase one in a few days, I am next going to try using a 5% Xylitol solution with a Vick's personal steam inhaler, which many sinus sufferers have rated highly on amazon.com. I will report back with my findings. Until then, I cannot say how encouraged I am by my findings today. I have lost so much health and hope owing to this disease, which prevents me from exerting myself at work, and also exercising routinely and vigorously -- something that someone wired like me needs to do to keep sane and healthy. As of now, it seems like this method, in combination with continuing to take care of my overall health, limiting dairy/lactose consumption, limiting/eliminating alcohol consumption, and refusing any kind of smoke inhalation, may just let me hit the gym and bang out some heavy squats and deadlifts very soon, without having to worry about getting yet another full blown sinus infection afterwards. I'm ecstatic about this, and hope it can help anyone else save some money and relieve themselves from suffering.

Probiotics

The paradigm of modern culture is summed up as "sterilize" is equal to healthy. This paradigm comes from the discovery of germs and their coincidental relationship to diseases. It can be likened to a field that is plowed and left barren. This field is then populated with all kinds of weeds and plants some may be good and many are bad or useless. But the normal or healthy field is never barren. It is a culture of balanced plants in a proper relationship. Modern allopathic medicine seeks to sterilize your mouth with highly toxic to bacteria AND YOU, ... Chemicals, and seeks to maintain that state. But in nature (dare I say God's plan?) a human being has 5-10 times more bacterial cells in the body than actual body cells, amounting to approximately 3 pounds of them, and without them you WILL die! They are much smaller than body cells so the disparity in weight.. plus you are mostly water weight.

Current research in probiotics is only now understanding the critical importance to your guts immune system response ( 80% of the immune system is in the gut). And this is due in a large part to the probiotics in your entire intestinal tract from front to back.

I had chronic ear infections starting when I was just a child and had a radical mastoidectomy by age 14 . The removal of my entire left inner ear mechanism left me in danger of becoming deaf if the right ear also went that way. I fought the sinusitus and the ear, nose and throat infections for 45 years with EVERY possible medical and natural treatment I could find and NOTHING cured it. At best I got relief for a few days. I plowed the field diligently and stopped anything that I thought might of contributed to it like dairy. In the end I found my ear infection was worsening, my nose was so swollen, (nasal passages deviated septum they called it) and my eustacean tubes closed so tight (with inflamation) that I knew that like the creator of the muppets; I was doomed to die. Antibiotics, sinus flushes and rinses and anything else I tried (and I tried them ALL) were of NO effect. I was in dispair! I was suffering from sleep apnea and snoring and my mouth breathing had cause sever gingivitis on the front gums due to the unaturaly dry mouth. It was so bad my cats would jump purposefully ON ME to get me to breath or stop snoring, I am not sure which, but [probably both. Lol but thats the only reason they did it, I am sure. I was getting poor rest from all that. Things were bleak to say the least.

Last year I read about a bacteria cultured from human breast milk and intestinal flora that is the pre eminant colonizer of the baby from birth. It's a home maker for healthy probiotics and has a natural antibiotic that selectively kills bad bacteria and is harmless to the good bacteria, called "reuterin". This bacteria named "L. Reuteri" My years of research had show that the "plowed field" of my sinuses and the rest of my body were in danger of being overwhelmed by the weeds. It occurred to me that I needed to plant my field with what God intended to have there.

I took some of the powder of L Reuteri and placed it in my ears (both were helped) against the right ear drum and was excited to discover that within three days the ear infection had stopped and the pain was lessened and drainage had all but ceased. I snorted some of the powder up my nose (straight live bacteria) and within a week my nose was opened and I breathed easier for the first time in 45 years. My eustacean tubes opened up the next week after I continues to apply the bacteria to my ears nose and throat, and they started to function normaly, again after 45 years of them NEVER working right! I applied the Reuteri to my gums repeatedly after a gum cleaning and within a week my gingivitis had all but disappeared!

I have now been nearly perfectly symptom free for nearly a year! And after a few booster doses my nose is wide open and my eustacean tubes work perfectly my eardrum has not shown any sign of infection. To breathe freely through my nose again, to sing, to smell, what a joy! I am not snoring, I am sleeping better, and wake more rested, and so are my cats. Lol If you wish to discuss this with me or see the list of things I tried and the surgery and stuff in the past 45 years I had done or tried write me at lifesharer(at)yahoo. com .

This is my 1st experience in having Maxillary sinusitis, which is where the sinus under your checkbone is blocked, as well as the normal symptoms. I have had pressure in my cheekbone and a toothache, as this type of sinusitis brings it on, a constant anoying pounding in my jaw and teeth. Oh and if that wasn't bad enough my ear also hurts from the pressure in my cheek, making it sensitive to sound. Went to my doctor and he gave me steriod nose drops which helped with my nose blockage, but not my cheek pain and toothache. I was desperate and in need of relief so I surffed the web and came across this website and apple cider viniger.

Been drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in hot water with honey and cinnamon, and the pressure in my cheek is relieved immediately, it doesnt go completly away but it takes it down to 30% which is great for me, been also taking 1 tablespoon in water and sipping during the day, this helps my nose run and the mucus to run down the back of my throat (not nice I know) this has helpd alot as its no longer Orange and is now clear, hopefully if I keep this up it will all go. I have also been chopping raw garlic in quarters and swallowing it as its anti bacterial so every little helps, right? I will try anything at this moment as this is no fun, if anyone has any further tips do let me know, I'll try anything.

Hello: My chronic sinusitis began in 2000 after having a flu and a cough that would not go away. Over years, it became worse, progressing into routine bouts of major bleeding, and, having me always clean bleeding scabs from my nose. It wasn't unusual for me to be unable to stop the flow of blood from my nose on my worst days--I would literally be bent over a sink, blood dripping profusely.

One day, I realized that since I use a CPAP machine for sleep apnea (the machine forces air into your throat to keep your breathing unimpeded), I would use it alternately with food-grade hydrogen peroxide (make sure you read the cautions associated with using this product, NEVER drink it or allow it to touch your skin directly from the bottle--you must carefully make it safe by mixing it with water in a 1 part HP to 11 parts water ratio)--and--I also used eucalyptus oil on separate nights. I would use the oil both on the nose pillow and in the chamber's water.

After about 2 weeks use, I woke-up having difficulty breathing. I felt movement in my nasal passages, much like feeling rice krispies pop in milk. Then, starting that morning, my nose profusely drained. I could not keep up with it. Water was just pouring water out all day long. I must have used 3 boxes of tissues tht day. The experience was mildly uncomfortable, constantly feeling a sensation of wanting to sneeze, but, you don't. For the next 2 days, I was dealing with extensive drainage and feelings of movement in my nose, a sensation of sudsing, much like you see when pouring HP on a wound? There was absolutely no pain involved, just the frustration of dealing with the experience.

When the worst was over, after 12 years of suffering, I realized that I no longer had any blood in my nose at all. I could not believe it. And, I finally felt normal. I no longer had to clean my nose several times daily. My nose today remains clean. My sinuses are no longer an issue. Total relief. Done.

Keep Head Warm

About 2 months ago I discovered that keeping the crown of my head warm using caps, hats or whatever helps to keep my head warm stopped my Sinusitis attacks! I had suffered from Sinusitis for over 11 years! No medical professional could help me and when they tried they usually prescribed loads of antibiotics that would not work. I saw many, many Doctors and had no relief from Sinusitis except for over the counter medications (benadryl). And I continued to suffer.

During one sinusitis attack about 2 months ago I noticed that the top back of my head was super cold. So I blow dried my head and the heat from the blow dryer helped ease my attack. This caused me to wonder about the cold on my head.

During the night I would wake up with a full blown attack of acid mucus keeping me awake and miserable. It was horrible. The acid mucus burned everything it touched.

I began wrapping my head in either a T shirt or a flannel to keep my head warm at night. This stopped my sinusitis attacks at night so I started using warm caps during the day. The caps on my head kept me well all day!

About 3 weeks ago during the night my cap fell off my head and I had sinus attacks for 2 days but they were not as harsh as the attacks in the past.

I have continued keeping my head warm especially at night or on cold days and I haven't had one attack in weeks! I recently fell asleep without a cap on and I have no sinusitis attacks! I seem to be healed.

I don't know why my head was cold but keeping my head warm seems to have healed my Sinuistis problem. No cold head and now no sinusitis! I will report back to Earth clinic in a couple months to see if this medical success story continues for me!

Multiple Remedies

My sinus infection was clear mucous no stuffiness, headache, head pressure, fever, light sensitivity, dry eyes and fatigue. My Naturpathic suggested 1 Oregano tablet 50mg with meal 3x a day. Take 3 garlic caps and 3 Berberine take both 3x a day time Take 1 therbiotics 2x aday take Bio- D mulsion 1 drop 2 times a day. The ND suggested to pour some Eucalyptus oil in pot of water with some dried thyme let it boil remove it from the stove and carefully drape a towel over your head and breathe in the steam for 15 minutes and then put a cold washcloth over your face and lay down this will help increase circulation in the facial area and the oil will help heal sinus infection. I thought this was brilliant! Anyhow we also discussed that I had root canal recently which I did, of course this can have devastating health issues if is not done right so I'm going to be investigating how to have it done right with an implant.

YEA! I am literally jumping for joy after trying this remedy. I have had serious sinus issues for about the last 6 years. I live in an area that has high levels of allergens and have been suffering with sinus infections that last the better part of 5 months. I have tried everything from antibiotics to hanging upside down for relief, and nothing has worked until today. I mixed 2 table spoons of ACV and 1 TBSP of raw honey (local) into a glass of mineral water and sipped until it was gone.bizarre part is I actually enjoyed the taste... Lol don't judge me. LITERALLY within 5 minutes I started to feel the pressure in my ears subside (the pressure was so bad that my own voice sounded distant), my nose started running, and I began hacking up thick nasty yellowish green balls of mucus from both my lungs and snorting out of my sinuses. I feel like the vice grip has been taken off of my head and I am now a firm believer in this remedy. I wish I would have known about this years ago, I could have saved myself the misery and agony. I am so happy right now! This is an instant cure!
