I've been on bactrim for four days now, which has helped heal two MRSA spots, but one just would not go away and was incredibly painful. I had to try something else (while continuing my antibiotic, of course). Instead of opting to go back to the doctor to have it drained, or going to the ED to have an IV antibiotic drip, I decided to try an herbal remedy. I'm very thankful I did because I'll be honest, I am not a good patient when it comes to needles and knives!

I read someone's comment online yesterday to try equal parts of turmeric and honey, mix well until you get a liquidy paste and apply to the closed MRSA wound. I did this last night, covered it with gauze and woke this morning with significantly less swelling and pain! It's like a miracle spice. I will certainly relay this to my doctor. She likes to prescribe holistic advise when she can... I'm hoping she will consider sharing this with other patients who are suffering from MRSA.

Side note: Before trying the topical application, I did follow one person's recommendation to mix a tsp of turmeric with 2 cups of milk and add honey... I was able to drink maybe a 1/3 of the mixture until I decided it was too much on a weak stomach. Wasn't exactly tasty. But I do realize that what amount I did ingest may have contributed to me feeling better this morning as well.

Good luck to all! Wishing you a fast recovery from this painful diagnosis.

Honey and tumeric mixed in equal volume applied to my big toe nail under a bandaid relieved the throbbing pain. MRSA-CA had been going around in our community. After subteaching at our school I apparently got it in the base of my toenail. When the pain started, accompanied by inflamation I used H2O2 and an antibiotic ointment to be able to sleep. Next evening it had returned, so I repeated using another ointment after the H202 relieved the pain. On the third day, worse, I came to EarthClinic and discovered tumeric and also raw honey seemed to help others, so mixed equal amount and applied it after the H2O2. A bandaid kept the paste around the base of the nail where it had first inflamed. I kept this up a week, applying nightly and also taking about 1/4 teaspoon of the mix daily. The infection died, and so did the toenail. The nail has grown back--but no more MRSA, after a year, thank God!

A friend who got MRSA on her foot at the same time took a month for the medical treatment to relieve it. The MD warned it would take a month to heal the wound but she applied some of the honey-turmeric and amazed herself and the MD that it healed in days. We have lots of problems in this fallen world, but the good Lord gave us herbs and things to solve them!

Hot Compresses, Oatmeal With Baking Soda

I have had a horrible time! I first started out with MRSA on my leg.
I guess I get it harder then most. Because first it starts with a head ache and flu like symptoms and 100 to 103 fever. Last I got the boil on my left leg just up from my knee.
I tried heat, I tried tea tree oil and I tried baking soda and oatmeal.
The heat felt good.
The tea tree oil did nothing.
The baking soda hurt and did draw it out.
The oatmeal hurt and did draw it out.
Together baking soda and oatmeal did the best.
I still had to go to the doctor and they gave me antibiotics.
It never totally went away. It was still this little spot. But I thought ok. I am out of antibiotics but maybe my body will take care of it.
About 2 weeks later. I got a head ache and it felt like some one had kicked me in the tail bone also no energy and 103 fever. Next thing I know I have a huge boil on the inside of my left butt cheek just down from my tail bone.
Its the week end so I say to hell with it. I go the the ER. Wait for 2 hours. Then they get me in. Give me painkiller and cut the thing open and drain it.
They gave me different antibiotics this time.
I have been on them. The thing has been draining like mad.
It stopped draining after a few days.
Now I am out of the antibiotics and the boil is not totally gone.
I am afraid again and have no clue what to do.
Here is some advise I would like to give.
If you get a boil drained.
You must! Use hot compresses and maybe oatmeal mixed with baking soda in a paste on it. Also take hot soaks for 20 minutes 2 times a day. Do not let this thing close until it is totally MT!
I give this advice because I wish to god I had done all of this.
I feel if I had I would not be worried now.
Wondering what the heck should I do now!

Hot Drinks

Posted by Max (Adelaide, Sa ) on 02/07/2012

Recent study found hot drinks ( tea and coffee) protect against MRSA. I don't think it cures it once you have already got it but regular tea and coffee drinkers are less likely to catch MRSA. Note, this study only tested MRSA in the nasal cavity they are yet to discover whether the effects are systemic.

Regarding the post in this section entitled Penetrating MRSA Biofilm Posted by Skeptic (Cuenca, Azuay, Ecuadorabonan Sent) on 04/28/2013:

I had a friend yrs ago who had several rounds of MRSA. When he developed the next infection he wanted to use dmso but the metal was a problem & he wound up using 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide - dilluted & he stated that it cleared up rather quickly & he had started using nebulized HP ever since with no further issues. I know this is many yrs late but hopefully may be helpful 2 someone coming across it. There are numerous books/articles available about this. MRSA, cancers can't live in an oxygen rich environment. I now use 3% FGHP regularly & rid myself of asthma, sinusitis & allergies & plan to continues its use. I don't get colds or flu.

Hydrogen Peroxide

HI ALL, , , , , , , , got a sad call this morning at 6 am from a young kid that was going to work at our farm today. He said he would not be able to work because his PapPa just died.

His PapPa had a hip replacement and it became infected with MRSA almost 6 months ago. They went to many doctors, but none could help. I suggested Hydrogen Peroxide IV's. That is not traditional medicine and was rejected. I shut up. The doctors kept trying to cut out the infection and finally he was to go to a plastic surgeon tomorrow. He had been on antibiotics all this time along with vac wound therapy . I now want to cry as I know personally of people who were cured with just 3 IV's of Hydrogen Peroxide. Why did I not push the issue?

A church member who went to the great Medical School at Vanderbilt for cancer. He too is gone. I was too timid to intercede with what natural cures I know from my research and personal bout with cancer.

So when I get my comeuppance from members on this site, it rolls off like water on a duck's back. I have watched too many friends die by my not pushing the issue. You may not like my style, but I have your interest at heart.

Dear Robert Henry,

What a sad story. I am so sorry for that boy.

I too have seen people suffer and not be willing to try something that is safe and easy because it seems, well, ridiculous to them. But I know you know that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. I don't know if pushing the issue will help. I have taken natural things to sick people and they don't even try them. Or take one dose of whatever and decide it doesn't work.

I know you have the best interest of other's at heart.

Hi Robt Henry,

All of us who believe in natural or non-medically approved cures have probably had the experience of telling someone who is not well what we have read or know might help, and are familiar with the "I never realized you were such a nut" look! Just keep putting it out there and people have to do what they feel is best. And your delivery is always direct and to the point, which most prefer when dealing with poor health and don't have a lot of time for polite, subtle suggestions. We all know you have nothing but good intentions and have helped many who take you up on your advice and experience. You reached out to this young man when you could have remained silent, and I wish he had done what you told him, but his family chose a different path.

Kinda getting tired of being beat about the head and shoulders for telling things that will help folks. I got at least three supporters and consider you one of them. Spent the day at a friend's house showing them how to make Lyposomal Vit C and Glutathione.

I had total knee replacement in February, they had to open me up again because the poly disc didn't set right. That's when I got MRSA. Of course they had to open me again, three times in one month. They tell me that even after the Vancomycin intravenousTreatment the MRSA could start up again. Could you please give me some advice.

Hydrogen Peroxide

I highly recommend food grade hydrogen peroxide as a cure for MRSA. Early this year I 2 different cases of confirmed Staphylococcus and 2 surgeries to remove cysts that were as big as golf balls, for which antibiotics were not touching. The Dr told me that I would just have to live with it as he told me MRSA is everywhere. The cysts were extremely painful so I was not willing to just live it them! When the 3rd one came on I reached for my food grade (35%) hydrogen peroxide and took a large dose(1/4 teas in 8 oz of pure water)
Within 2 hours I could feel the tingling stop and the burning of the new growing cyst stop. The next day I took another dose and I was cured. I highly recommend peroxide for bladder infections and also a couple of years ago I had confirmed skin cancer on my nose and began taking doses of peroxide and it killed that also.

You must be very, very careful when taking this product - follow instructions, as it has burning properties to it. One more note - after I had surgery for the removal of the MRSA cysts I packed the site with Epsom salt and it pulled the infection to the top of the skin and drained the sight within days. I used a pantie liner pad over the site and the salt drew out so much pus it was soaked the pad a half an hour, this went on for 3 days!

Hydrogen Peroxide and Witch Hazel With Tea Tree Oil

hydrogen Peroxide/witch hazel combo with Tee Tree Oil cured a Spider Bite/MRSA infection due to bite. My knee had this red itching bite on it. By the time I had let it go on I awoke to find this now open sore with my knee looking like a volcano. It was spitting like a snake and the 1st thing I did was start with Hydrogen Peroxide putting it on this sore 3 - 4 times per day. I awoke to relief the very next day and over all I have a little mark that was like the size of a dime that has faded since we are coming up on a year soon since this happened to me. It pulled the infection from this sore and is a total lifesaver.

I used one drop a day on each infection for 3 or 4 days until the MRSA just dried up and went away. In the prior to this I had at least two other MRSA infections which made life very unpleasant. I did try every known remedy out there including the ones listed on this website and NONE of them worked. In my previous two experiences with MRSA I had to go to the hostpital to get very strong antibiotics to kill it. Bottom line is that Lugol's iodine does work for MRSA.

Thanks for sharing! I started using the Iodine last night and what was starting as a boil is already shrinking. I know it started killing the bacteria because it stung as I applied it. I am hopeful that after daily use, it will be completely gone soon. I am so grateful. If only I'd known when I had the first bout with MRSA.

Iodine straight onto the boils and doing it several times a day washing with antibiotic soap in between applications. This got rid of the satellite boils and reduced the mother boil down to a tiny bump so far. I know, you have to completely get rid of it or it regenerates itself. I am also doing the turmeric to try to clean the MRSA out of my system, which I know it must have been there for years. Iodine (put plenty on top of the boils), cured all the satellite baby boils and reduced the first boil (which was about 1 and 1/4 inch in diameter when it first appeared), to a tiny lump smaller than a pea. Yes, we had heavy rain before the first big boil appeared on my cheek. Also, I went out shopping the day before the first one appeared. Yes, there are a lot of jets here because we are near the Ft. Lauderdale airport. But I have no idea where MRSA comes from or why the boils appeared. About a year ago, I first had on my forehead something that looked like an infected insect bite and it refused to heal. It bled periodically and seemingly after it looked like it was healed over. The little lumps were still there. I could feel them under the skin. But after about 8 solid months of applying triple antibiotic cream, it finally went away. No more little lumps under my skin in that location. This is what I am trying to do now, get this mother boil to finally disappear. I will send more information when I have it. I am 64, retired, live a quiet life. Like to garden, maybe this MRSA is in the soil... If it is in the air, then it naturally would be in the soil and therefore on veggies we buy, etc. There were no changes in what I usually eat so I don't think it is diet related, not sure.

We recently had an aerobic septic system put in. The lawn people came out and were kicking up dust (because the yard was torn up) and I was on the deck. The next day, I got a golf ball size lump (boil). I think you are on the right track about something in the soil. I used an EC remedy of tumeric, tea tree oil, VCO, aluminum-free baking soda, and the contents of a vitamin E capsule. I put the paste on a cotton round and changed it frequently. It drew out the pus from the boil and I am fine. For good measure, I put some triple antibiotic on it. I then put castor oil on a cotton ball in an attempt to finally get rid of the remnant of it. The 5 ingredient paste worked very fast. It couldn't hurt to take tumeric (1/2 tsp. in 1/2 glass of water) and a Neem capsule to prevent blood poisoning for a few days.

I used to use iodine on all of my areas and I had no problems with it at all... It always had dried everything up. I have continual breakouts of these little "bumps" I call them, all over my body. I have been to a dermatologist many times and nothing has ever been prescribed for long-term use.

Two years ago, I contracted MRSA somehow and I had this stuff on my scalp. I never ever want to go through that again. That was the most horrible infection I have ever had. The majority of my scalp on the back side of my head and a large amount on the sides of my head sloughed off in the ugliest way. It became really sticky, gummy and gooey with huge boils all over. It makes me shiver just writing about it. Anyway ever since then, I have these break-outs of little bumps all over. I usually have let's say about 10 bumps on me at all times. My dermatologist accuses me of "picking" the areas when that is not the case. These areas just heal slowly. Even with the iodine, it takes about two-three weeks for each bump to heal.

Two weeks ago, I noticed the iodine wasn't doing its normal job. These areas started to multiply quickly. I had one really long thick leathery lesion on my neck that was draining a bit. I knew right then when I felt it that it felt like the infection I had two years ago... I totally freaked out. The infection I had two years ago left me bald in very large places on my scalp! I had some left over anitbiotics from a previous skin infection of Cephalexin and a few Doxycylines, left and took them right away. I also refilled my script on my clindamycin solution. The spreading stopped almost immediately, and most of the areas dried up in a few days, but I ran out of antibiotics before they could totally wipe out the infection. "Oh freaking great", I thought, "what do I do now?"

So I find myself reading this site and I have incorporated a few things. I started taking vitamin B3 right away. I have been taking bleach baths with 1/2 c bleach, 10 drops lavender oil, 10 drops neem oil, 10 drops tea tree oil, and 4 squirts of dawn antibacterial dish soap in my bath. Just the bath alone has helped as I see improvement in just a couple of hours after the baths. I am also taking the Tumeric, 1 tsp so far (just started last night). I plan on taking it three times a day for about a week and then once a day forever. I have applied tumeric to some areas, but I don't notice a lot of diffference with them doing that.

After 3 days of doing the above, my scalp is totally clear except for two small places that are healing. I did have 6 areas there. The above treatment has cleared up both of my elbows which have been a chronic problem now for years (elbows always are broke out.)

I am worried about the rest healing up. I still have a patch on my upper back that is trying to heal, the leather place on my neck is much smaller and is drying up, but I can still feel infection in the area where it is very tender and sore yet. I have a patch of areas on my ankle of which the outer areas have dried up but the inner bigger "mother" of them all is still a pretty deep area. I have two patches on my lower tummy that are trying to heal yet, and a larger patch of infection on my left leg. I do see much improvement of all of these areas, but I guess I am impatient and want them all healed now. I don't know what it would be like to not have any painful bumps on me and I can't wait to experience this!

The most concerning of all of this, is that I am a working nurse. I do know I have had MRSA in the past (scalp infection 2 years ago.) I was also told two years ago that I am a carrier of MRSA as they did a culture of my right nostril and found it colonizing there. I was given mupurocin ointment for nostrils and used it for 10 days two years ago. I figure I possibly got the initial infection, maybe, from my workplace, although I have no way of knowing for sure. I do know I have taken care of tons of people with MRSA infections. Doctors have already treated me with mupuricon in my nostrils a few times, but it is probably there again.

I just want to know if there is anything else I can do? I also take a multivitamin every day and I just got a bottle of the good acidolphilus (12 different kinds) of 1.5 billion that I am taking twice daily, so my regimen is this:
* Vit b3 250 mg 4x a day
* Acidolphilus 2x a day
* Tumeric 1tsp 3x a day
* Acai berry capsules, two of these 2x a day

Baths with bleach, lavendar oil, tea tree oil, neem oil. Have done 3 so far and plan to do 2-3 more taking a bath once daily. Then I plan to do a once a week bath in this same solution for a while.

I also take biotin, vit d3, L-lysine, vit c 1000mg, and a multivitamin daily. Wow, sounds like a lot! What I just mentioned in this sentence I have been doing for a while now trying to help my skin heal... But it hasn't helped much. I can say, that I do not get any kinds of systemic illnesses very often with my vitamin regimen, just skin issues.

Is there anything else I could be doing or should I take something away. Could someone review please? I will come back here and reply in a few days to update my progress here. Wish me luck!!

What kind of Iodine should I look for? I just finished a 10 day course of antibiotic for a boil / abscess that I went to ER about, after my Mother whom I care for was diagnosed with MRSA. It went away but has returned. I am so discouraged. I have been washing Hibiclens and silver gel. Also tried tea tree oil. Would like to stop this from reaching the oozing etc. Will use of the iodine cure it? Thanks in advance.

MMS(chlorine Dioxide)/(combined compound of salt solution/ citric acid) One of the most powerful antioxidants on the planet. Kills pathogens(bacterias, fungus, virus) and won't harm healthy cells/tissue. This is the ticket to curing MRSA, please research this natural potent substance. You can use a spray bottle filled with solution to mist on wounds/ speed up healing. Also, you can drink a few drops in a glass of water every hour for 8 hrs a day for a week to irradicate from blood stream. (cures many many other ailments as well)

George: Correction, MMS is a proxidant not antioxidant. It's a Chlorine molecule with 2 oxygen's (CLO2). It oxidizes pathogens much the same manner as Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) or Ozone O3.

Iodine, Honey and Bactrim

I have had MRSA for over 3 years now on and off (mostly on) and I have pretty much become an expert unintentionally on which natural remedyies and over the counter products work, and which ones to avoid.

I can tell you first hand that after a boil is lanced or drained, either by you or your doctor, the best topical treatment is to hit the area with strong POVIDINE IODINE 10% applied with a qtip if the area is small, or a cotton ball for a larger area.

Apply it 3 times a day topically very liberally and use a non stick pad to cover the wound with minmal adhesive tape.

The iodine will kill the MRSA bacteria effectively topically and will asisit in the wound drying up and healing.

Do not whatever you do - use bandaids of anykind ever on a mrsa wound though!

This is a very common problem as bandaids have chemical irritants in the adhesive which is very likely to cause a person with sensitive skin alot of problems.

Almost every brand will irritate your skin near the wound which can and often will facilitate the spread of a new sore to the nearby irritation or break in the skin.

Knowing which products over the counter to use and which antibiotics actually work are of the utmost importantance. MRSA is very strong and while I believe whole heartedly in natural cures sometimes prescription medications are neccessary when dealing w/MRSA.

There are concretely 2 things that I know of that definateily will kill MRSA and that is Iodine 10% and Manuka Honey. (EMF 10+ ATLEAST! )

Do not use them together, of course, but either of these topically are the two best remedies you will likely find anywhere.

Also I recommend Taking GARLIC supplements w/Allicin to support your immune response naturally, and doing everthing possible to raise your body's PH to as close as possible to 7.5.

Avoid sugar and all foods that are high in preservatives and processed foods especially as these types of foods actually seem to faciliate the further growth of MRSA.

If you are not allergic to Sulfa Drugs, the antibiotic "Bactrim" is very cheap and works to heal the skin wounds and boils in a great many cases. I have seen alot of successes with bactrim.

In 80% cases bactrim will work, the problem is many people are allergic to sulfa drugs and this may not be an option for some people. As a home remedy, Bathing in Bleach (1/4 cup) per bath and using antibacterial soap to wash hands etc. containing triclosan or triclocarban will also be very helpful.

Whatever you do .. do not take MRSA lightly!!! Even if your doctor doesn't seem to be worried, many doctors are ignorant about MRSA and a lot of people are dying in The U.S. as a result.

The mortality of longterm MRSA is well above 30%. The untold truth is that MRSA is reaching epidemic proportions in the Untited States.

I have read alot of good information on this site, but if you have severe MRSA you may not have the luxury of experimenting too much so you must be very careful in your treatment approaches.

Be prudent and only use tried and true remedies. I hope this helps you.

Jojoba Oil Inhibits MRSA Growth: My family had MRSA on the skin that consisted of itchy red patches/bumps that would turn into a boil that oozed pus ect...I prayed and prayed for a cure as we battled it for months and it was VERY stressful. G-d answered my prayer, once when I was online researching cures I seen a website come up with a brief description saying jojoba oil inhibits growth of MRSA. It came and went very quickly when I tried to click on it. In fact I have never seen the site again. I had some jojoba oil on hand that I used for my hair. So I diluted with olive oil and put on my skin head to toe. The red patches/bumps that came up after this were really blotchy and not fully formed (they were weakened). I used a mix of 10 drops eucalyptus oil, 3-4 drops of oregano oil and a couple drops of tea tree oil directly on the blotchy bumps. They were gone with a matter of an hour or two. Sometimes even minutes. In fact I did the same method with on my 3 kids age 4, 6 and 14 who also skin MRSA boils and our whole family was cured within a week. That has been a year and a half ago. We have not had any red itchy patches/bumps or boils since.

To disinfect laundry I used 1 cup borax, 1/2 cup of pine sol(generic at dollar store that has 8.9% pine oil only a $1.00), 1/2 to 1 cup of Ammonia also only $1.00.

For all hard surfaces I used the mix of pine sol and Ammonia diluted in water to wipe down doorknobs, tables, light switch, counters. I even used this on a damp wet wipe to wipe down my couch and loveseat to disinfect it. I did this almost daily.

Sometimes I did use Lysol concentrate added a cap or two to the mix to disinfect home.

Water kefir is so wonderful!

I had recurring staph infections for many years. At first I cured them with urine, and it worked wonders, at first. Then years later I got another infection and the urine wasn't working so well anymore.

I tried so many different remedies, turmeric, garlic, ACV, mushroom tea and tinctures, made my own colloidal silver, as well as many, many other things, including probiotics and sourkraut. I can't believe how much I did and some of it helped, and yet I continued to get worse, I know now it's because of stress. I got cellulitis and then knew that the bacteria was inside my body and I could feel myself getting weaker. Even the naturopath said to take antibiotics but I knew that was not the route that would cure me.
Thank God I found Kim's post on Kefir from 2015, after many hours of reading posts, and ordered some water kefir! The stuff I got on Amazon was ok, but seemed to break down after a month and never reproduced. I got some other grains, and those grains are still reproducing. Once I started drinking the water kefir my wounds finally started to go away, but not completely.

I found an article that said you need to drink 1 liter a day to get the medicinal benefits, so I doubled the amount I was making and sprayed it on my skin, as well as put the "grains" on my wounds, and that helped tremendously! The wounds dried up and were gone in a week!

It's been months and I no longer get an infection when I get a cut, which is such a huge relief!

I learned that in Hawai'i especially, or anywhere with lots of humidity and warmth and therefore lots of harmful bacteria and fungi, it's important to grow water kefir, and all fermentation, in an anaerobic environment, using an airlock lid. I found the pickle pipes to be the easiest, and am going to get the medical grade stainless steel airlock lids soon.

I hope more people find out about water kefir, and how more important replacing beneficial microbes are, rather than just trying to kill off the bad ones. It makes sense because of gut health depends on a diversity and balance of bacteria and fungi. In my opinion it's the first place to start. Lots of nutrients from green smoothies and Chlorella also made a difference I could feel!

After battling MRSA for over 3 years now, I have tried Minocycline, Doxycycline, Clindamycin, Rifampin, Hibacleanse, bleach baths, Bactriban, mega doses of turmeric, garlic baths, garlic pills, garlic cream, mega doses of niacin amide, topical manuka honey, silver gel, silver solution, daily laundering of all bedding... The list goes on. Needless to say, as everyone who has ever dealt with MRSA can attest to, it has been extremely frustrating and depressing not to get rid of these painful boils and little itchy red bumps that always appear and take forever to get rid of. It's especially debilitating when these cover your face, neck, and arms. You feel like you have leprosy. So, after trying all of these "remedies" to no avail, I started making my own water Kefir ( a Probiotic) . I ordered 2 tablespoons of water Kefir grains on Amazon.

Step 1: I warmed up 4 cups of spring water ( chlorine and fluoride in tap water will kill the Kefir grains.

Step 2: I add 1/4 cup of dark brown sugar ( use this because the Kefir needs minerals and sugar to grow), and stirred until dissolved.

Step 3: Put the sugar water and kefir grains in a jar, secure the top with a coffee filter and rubber band, place in a warm dark place for 24-48 hours.

Step 4: Strain the kefir grains out.

Drink the probiotic water you now have, and start all over again from step 1.

The results are almost immediate. My boils and sores just start disappearing and drying up. I also put the kefir water in a spray bottle and spray it on my skin, and I put it in a nasal spray bottle and spray it up my nose. I have been doing this for about 2 weeks now and as long as I drink it daily, my skin stays clear. I'm hoping that by doing this daily for a few months, the MRSA will be gone for good.

I will add some research articles supporting the evidence that shows kefir kills MRSA and destroys the biofilms.

Anyone who has battled MRSA and has tried everything else, to no avail, please try this.

I will add another research article link for Kefir and MRSA. This is probably the best one to read.

MRSA Boils itchy red bumps

A comment on Kim's Water Kefir and Turmeric Curcuma: BOILS, INFECTIONS, ZITS.

I really like the inexpensive nature of Kefir Probiotics and still powerful at the same time.

I don't know what I have but they are painful little boils and little itchy red bumps. Maybe I have some kind of staff infection or, yes, maybe it's the dreaded MRSA. Anyway, I do like learning about new things that can help. Thank you, Kim.

I'm 65 now. I get the boils on my arms, butt, legs, knees, neck. It seems I've had this on and off for most of my life, but a whole lot more in the last couple of years. The skin on and around the small boils would get really hard too. {Maybe somebody knows what that's all about, I sure don't} At any rate, I'd pick one and 5 more would pop up around the area, that didn't seem good to me at all. That's why I say things were getting worse. I started to search in real earnest on the net.

Once I started my routine, within a week things started shaping up. The boils started drying up and by two weeks all was moving along quite nicely and in 30 days they were pretty much all cleared up.

So what did I do? It fights infection anywhere in the body.

3 Times a Day {this is really important especially in the beginning.}

1. Curcuma 1 level tsp.

2. Black pepper 1 level tsp.

3. Water (filtered or whatever of course) 16 oz. They say you need lots of water. At least that's what I read.

4. Oil 1 tbs. (Coconut, Olive, Lard, Butter real not the fake).

Since this is a lot of liquid, personally I'd recommend taking it 30 minutes before eating so as not to dilute your digestive juices.

The doc will tell you to cut down on the fat. Yes, by all means do that if you want Alzheimer's. Your brain is mostly fat. No fat - no brain. Of course, everyone is going to do pretty much what they want on this one anyway.

A plug for water: Drink at least one large glass every morning on awakening.

A comment on what Kim said that she had tried turmeric and it didn't work. Exactly what you did with the turmeric Kim, you didn't say. {Turmeric, yellow curry powder, is the plant; Curcumin, orange, is the extract or active ingredient from the plant, also a powder} Some say that one is better than the other. Turmeric has all the properties of the plant: Curcumin is more powerful with the highest amount of the active ingredient. At least that's what I got from the net. It's your call what you will use.}

This is what I found out about the use of either one. By themselves they are both really, really good, however, used with black pepper, which contains piperine… is a natural substance that enhances the absorption of curcumin by 2000% - I think you will find the study is still posted there.

Then I found out that Curcumin is fat soluble. Since I realllllly wanted this to work and work now I figured I'd add some oil/fat to the mix, that's noted above.

After 90 days on the above regimen I still take a maintenance dose once a day, I don't want this stuff to come back that's for sure.

All this worked so well that about 30 days ago I saw three girls in a convenience store and one of them had plenty of zits on her face. I told her my story and suggested she try it too. After two weeks she was really happy and after 30 days she had only one lone zit left. She's quite delighted for leaning about this natural remedy. There's another girl I saw today and told her about it. We'll see what happens with her.

All I can say is, Thank you everyone that posts here. As well as a huge thanks to

Best hopes and wishes to all of you.

Are you still using kefir regime? How has your MRSA been? I have a 7 year old son who gets terrible boils every month and I am desperate to cure him of them. They have also spread through our family. So far we have not been diagnosed with MRSA, but the Infectious Diseases specialist thinks that we have PVL positive Staph Aureus which is just a step down from MRSA. The whole family have taken a course of really hard core antibiotics and decolonised ourselves, but it has now come back after 7 months free of them! My 7 year old has had two big painful boils in 3 weeks! I really want to cure this now and prevent it becoming MRSA! I've just bought Manuka honey medicream today and ordered water kefir grains tonight. Any ideas would be very much appreciated! Thank you :-)
