I originally tried ACV for weight loss; I have a stubborn 20 pounds to lose. I was pleasantly surprised as to how pain-free I became in a matter of a few days. My knees no longer 'click' when I go up stairs. I can bend and squat to play with my children and no longer suffer ankle pain from the effort. My acid reflux is gone as well. When I run out of ACV, in a matter of days, the pain returns and I'm like an old lady once more. It works for me!

I started ACV two weeks ago for weight control. Every night I get up out of bed to use the bathroom, and every night I hear the loud click of my knees in the quiet house as I stand. Been clicking for years and years. Then three nights ago I got up and no click! I figured I must have stood up differently. The next night again, no click! Then I figured it out - it was the ACV! It is the only thing different in my life. I don't know why it helps, but it sure beats all those expensive supplements that are supposed to add lubrication to your joints but are the size of horse pills and you have to remember to take them three times a day. Anyway, I'm thrilled with finding this natural way to loose weight and get all these added benefits!

Yes, I have a story that will amaze you and your readers... I have had 2 knee operations on my right knee within the last 7 years. The last was in December of last year, and without any success, I might add. My knee hurt terribly "every" day. It hurt so bad. It literally felt like I had been walking on a 4x4 strapped to my knee, and it felt like the 2 outside bones in my leg were going to shoot out of my leg with any step....Well, a good friend told me to get unfiltered apple cider vinegar, and to drink a teaspoon in about 4 ounces of water every day. I didn't really believe that it would work. Not as good as he said, but I've been drinking it now for 2 weeks, and oh my god,......"it works" really works. The last three days was so hard on my knee, & i was forced to use a crutch, but I woke up this morning, & I had very little pain,.....I was able to walk without pain, & I have no limp.....i haven't walked without a limp in over 2 years....I am definitely a firm believer in apple cider vinegar, and I will drink it every day from now on. I feel so energetic now, & I'm cheerful. The apple cider vinegar really helps with so many things.

I don't know if this has anything to do with the acv but I was in a car accident and also injured my L knee. I had a problem moving it and I was stiff and sore all over back pain and neck pain. I even went to PT 3 times a week for about 4 months. Well I started taking 1 teaspoon of acv in the morning and a couple of times I took 2 teaspoon full of it and I have noticed a real improvement in being that I can now move my knee and less or no pain in my back and neck. How about that. I even told my doctor about it.

My son was having pain on the basketball court with his knees. I started him on vinegar and honey twice a day. Within a couple of weeks he had no more pain. This was two years ago. He won't stop taking it now. It also cleared up his phlegm problem.

I had severe aching and throbbing in both knees this winter. I started taking ACV and honey a couple of weeks ago. From day one my knees started to feel better. Now my knees are pain free no matter how much I walk. Really amazing.

I bought 65% food grade hydrogen peroxide and started taking it as prescribed by recipe I found on internet. I was doing well until I got to 20 drops. I got very nauseated and had to start putting it in milk. My legs got very sore. I imagine that it is due to the cleansing process. I have now changed over to apple cider vinegar which has done away with the soreness in my legs and I am practically free from pain in my knees from Arthritis.

I was having pain in my elbows and a friend told my about ACV, at first I did not think it would work. One night, I woke up about 2:30 am in pain, I said, let me try this stuff.About 15 to 20 minutes after trying ACV the pain went away. To make a long story short, it works and I have be 2 to 3 times a day from that point on.

Hi everyone at earthclinic! I am a 60 year male. I found your site after a search for arthritis and natural cures. I started taking the ACV and BS two months ago. It has significantly reduced the pain and swelling between my knuckles. My hips and knee pain are getting better and the food taste better as well. My energy has increased and I am not napping as much. I don't feel as cold anymore and no more shivers in bed. It has also helped my wife with her knees. I can't thank you enough for your wonderful natural cure. I almost got sold on the Swedish joint pain formula but I' found your site and I am now saving my much needed money. Now I am going to start using the H202 inhalation method and I will let you know how that turns out.You are on my 649 list and you can hold me to that.

I have suffered with abdominal pain in my sternum area for the past 2 years or more. Finally the pain got so bad, I went to see a gastroenterologist to diagnose my condition. I figured it was an ulcer, but my endoscopy procedure showed that I was suffering from a hiatal hernia as a result of acid reflux. I was prescribed Prevacid to be taken for several months. I traced my problem back to having taken a hefty amount of ibuprofen from past sports injuries and knee surgery. I play basketball for exercise twice a week and wake up every morning with painful, stiff knees. Had I been aware of the negative results of anti-inflamatory drugs years ago, I never would have taken them. Anyway, after reading about the negative side effects of taking chemical drugs for acid reflux, I started praying and searching the web for natural remedies. I came across Ted's Apple Cider Vinegar & Baking soda remedy and have been on it for 3days now. It works great and quickly to relieve the pain of my acid reflux and to my surprise, after my first day of taking the remedy, my stiff, sore knees have been relieved. I played basketball 2days ago and had very minimal soreness and stiffness in my knees the next morning. I was able to climb the stairs in my house with no problem for the the first time in months. During my doctor's visits over the last few months, it has been discovered that my blood pressure is at pre-hypertension levels (138/88). I read several testimonials that users of the ACV remedy have experienced lowered blood pressure and cholesterol levels. I am anxious to have my blood pressure checked again to see if I am experiencing the same results. Hey, the acid reflux is getting under control and my knees don't ache and aren't stiff anymore. 2 down, 1 to go (blood pressure). It amazes me that I was able to come across one solution for all three of my conditions. I believe God directed me to this site for a reason. I will report back about my blood pressure once I get my next reading. Great stuff!!

If you don't add additional potassium to counter the salt in the baking soda you may find that your blood pressure rises on this regimen.

Apple Cider Vinegar and Cayenne Wrap

I have used this site for years but I had to make a statement on the Apple Cider vinegar and pain. Its AMAZING and it's real. Apple Cider is the magical natural elixir. I read many posts about people using Apple CIder to help with swelling and pain.

So I had been having swelling in my right foot during the middle of the day for about the past two weeks. The swelling would go down overnight when I slept except the last week it had been swollen first thing in the morning. And then my knee started to hurt. I turned to this site and read about Apple cider vinegar and cayenne pepper.

I wrapped my ankle and my knee with a mixture of apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper and coconut oil. I did it once I was ready for bed. I used a towel to sleep on and to wrap my knee with. I put the mixture on my knee wrapped the towel around my knee and wrapped it all in plastic wrap. For my ankle I made the same ingredients but this time I just wrapped it in plastic wrap. I eventually fell asleep. But I woke up when I felt the heat of the cayenne pepper on my skin.

The cayenne pepper did make this heat up in a few hours and I had to take it off. I massaged the residual in my skin. Next morning took a shower but the difference was a 100% decrease in pain. In addition, 3 days later still feel great. Apparently Apple Cider is so good you can just rub it on your skin. I read an article that it was good for varicose veins and you can massage it on the area where you have issues and you will see a difference.

I have a sore knee which I can't seem to get better. How much of each ingredient did you use to make up your mixture? Or do you just make it up as you go along? I already take ACV to help with my carpal tunnel but am willingly to use its benefits to help with my knee. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Vanessa

Dear Vanessa,

When I use Apple cider vinegar as a wrap, I get a flannel cloth and pour apple cider vinegar on it. I wrap the ankle or knee with the cloth, cover with plastic wrap, then an ace bandage or cohesive tape. If I were to add cayenne, I would just sprinkle on the amount I would sprinkle on food onto the Apple Cider Vinegar cloth. We have used Apple Cider Vinegar wraps overnight many times for sprains. My kids don't mind because they know they help! Even if you end up smelling like salad.

Can someone say the portions of these items that were used for the wrap. Coconut oil? ACV? Cayenne pepper? I would like to try on my husband's knee.

After a fall down my front steps my knee swelled to the point I saw my long forgotten Doctor. He measured around my leg under both knees and the swollen one was 1 1/2" larger than the other. I was given a prescription but decided to try apple cider vinegar instead. I took one shot in the morning and one at night. On the third day the swelling was gone along with all the pain. I like the idea of ingesting the Apple Cider Vinegar and letting it work from the inside out.

How much ACV, cayenne pepper and coconut oil should I use for a knee pain wrap?
