I came across a wonderful article I'd like to share. It is from a Retired Heart Surgeon of 25 years experience. He says that heart disease is actually caused by INFLAMMATION of the arteries. Take away the inflammation - and the cholesterol can move through the arteries freely. He goes on to say that wheat, grains and omega 6 in the diet are causing the problems. He also says that he low fat, low cholesterol diets are a mistake because the brain needs the cholesterol and saturated fats.

This is exactly what Dr. William Davis is saying in his book. Get the wheat and grains out of the diet. It is the major cause of most ailments today.

Here is the article:

In reply to Saudi Mike. It's really very simple. Heart disease is about one thing - cleaning your arteries. Heart disease issue has been filled with so much disinformation. Blood pressure, cholesterol levels, salt intake are irrelevant. Prescription medications are damaging. The natural way to clean your arteries is using FIBROLYTIC ENZYMES. China has done thousands of studies on them. They prevent heart attack and strokes. There are no side effects and the body will use what it needs and no more. No need for so many other alternative remedies either. Better to take a more direct approach. No doctor visits and little expense. Better to let the body heal itself.

For people who have been through the medical system with stents (one of the many unnecessary operations they foist on people) and other crap, it is much harder to advise them since I don't know the implications of all that other medical intervention crap. Medical doctors scare patients away from alternatives.

Hello guys! I had a heart attack 1.5 years ago and started using this ACV, Garlic, Ginger, Lemon tonic so a few tips from me:

1. REMEMBER! This is not a medicine (and is possibly just snake oil I.E., A fraud! ). Do NOT stop taking your prescribed medicines (such as aspirin etc).

Desparate people like ourselves search the internet to a solution for our cardio woes and all you find are quack remedies and stories for gullible people from charlatans, cranks and pyramidiots!

2. There are natural items that will reduce cardio problems (such as garlic and ginger) which make me continue with this solution but do not expect a miracle cure! Overnight, 2 week, 2 month blockage clearance? Hah! Better make a sacrifice to the faerie folk!

3. If you have blocked or semi blocked arteries you will probably have them for life now but you can reduce the blockage (very very slowly!) over time if you follow a very strict regime. This means major lifestyle changes. Your present situation is as a result of genetics and bad practices earlier in your life.

4. I have a stent and 50% blocked arteries - this solution has not affected me so I am guessing it is fairly safe to use (in the small recommended doses people describe I.E., 1 or 2 spoons max.)

5. It always turns blue-green for me the moment I start cooking / simmering and reducing the volume down. I think this is normal.

6. To prevent it stinking the fridge out after it is prepared (I don't even refrigerate it, it just sits on my counter ready to use) put it in an airtight container doh! I store it in one of those glass bottles with a ceramic cork on top and a rubber seal at the base of the cork.

The best advice I have seen so far to really reduce a coronary blockage (and medically proven) is the 'Spectrum' system of Dr Dean Ornish M.D. He has treated Bill Clinton and others with advanced arteriosclerosis but his system is a quite radical change.

The major points of the system are to stop smoking (if you do), exercise regularly (40 mins a day of brisk walking 3-5 times a week is sufficient to make you fit!), eat healthily (essentially cutting ALL fats and oils down to the barest minimums for us serious cases - that means cooking without oil, cutting out all dairy, nuts, oily things like avocado and chocolate, seeds etc, reducing caffeine and alcohol intake and finally to put a little more love in your life by adopting a pet or changing your attitude towards family and friends.

I also took up Transcendental meditation (TM) as that was recommeded to reduce my stress, anxiety and aggression. It works! If you believe in a god or gods, then prayer may also be useful in this respect.

You can buy Dr Dean Ornish books (he also has a website) and I recommend if you only buy one, you get "The Spectrum".

Another useful book I came across was "Reverse Heart Disease Now" by Sinatra and Roberts (again both bonafide M. D. S). This book offers similar advice to Ornish with a recommendation to to use mineral and vitamin supplements to alleviate cardio problems.

I hope you find this advice useful! I started my changes after my heart attack and I lost loads of weight! I dropped 3 trouser sizes and I'm gonna keep going unti; I am the size of my late teens / early twenties! It's easy to lose weight if someone tells you that you will die if you don't, lol!

It is too early to see if my blockages are reduced. I will keep you posted if I do get the tests done.

By the way, I have a friend (Indian) who has a blood sugar problem and he keeps it under control by taking great care of his diet also. He avoids or drastically minimises sweet foods like fruits and also white rice (which makes his blood sugar spike dramatically).

Cheers, Mike

Yes i'd say that would be adequate, if you make it into a paste with butter or oil on bread or something similar, it makes it more palatable, some people like the heat, so its up to you. It increases the effect of other treatments as well by opening up the small capillaries.

I'd suggest keeping it up for a year, but if you want to stop the breathlesness start taking cayenne. It works straight away by dilating small blood vessels and increasing the oxygen. It will increase the effect of the other treatment as well.

To add to the suggestions on "heart health" I see something missing that has been in the alternative arena for many years.

The "whole foods" theory that emerged in the 1950s was that the wave of heart disease which began rapidly accelerating after the Second World War came about because of the refining of flour, especially wheat, in order to give it shelf life. That theory was that the natural vitamin E was being milled out of the wheat and all the grains to provide shelf life. So the germ of the wheat was removed giving us white flour in loaf bread without any of the "germ"; the processed food revolution was on. Of course, refining grains has been an ongoing process especially where the "elite" preferred the lighter flour to the courser flour for thousands of years. The difference was that there was a wholesale movement to refining flour in most of the western countries in the last 50 years. Butter, was also replaced by hydrogenated oil which was another factor that damaged the arteries. As the arteries were damages there was no E circulating to stop the oxydizing process which produced blockages. Also without the E, oxygen was not being transported properly to the muscles (heart/legs) endangering the essential ability to function.

The first medical doctors who asserted the causation of heart and circulatory diseases was this refining of flour were the Canadian Medical Doctors, brothers, the Shutes. They made the assertion that the refinging of flour was depleting the basic source of E out of the bread and in time that depletion which was central to circulatory and heart health was causing a sharp increase in disease. So they propelled the consumption of supplimental E (natural and not synthetic). And of course, consume as much whole grain as you can versus eating refined white refined foods. Most all E comes from our breads.

My formula is:

1, 000 iu daily of d alpha tocopherol... Vitamin E (work your way up to the 1, 000 slowly, starting with 200 iu and in a month increase to 400 and next month another 200 etc till you get to 1, 000. I have been on this for more than 30 years. I do not take even one prescription drug. There are over 20 benefits from natural E... PLEASE... Natural Vitamin E... D alpha tocopherol and not dl alpha tocopherol which is synthetic. Vit E is a blood thinner when inside the body but helps with clotting when exposed to the air. So if one is on blood thinner, gradually reduce as you increase the E. Asprin is a blood thinner when you use daily, so cut down on the asprin as the E is being used.

- 500 mg of the herb hawthorne
- 500 mg of CoQ 10
- 1,000 mg of Arginine
- 500 mg of magnesium (and with that you can consume sea salt)
- 1,000 mg of assorted amino acids daily (giving even more arginine)
- a good mineral suppliment
- 500 mg of Calcium AEP (AEP is a wonder worder... This is NOT merely calcium)
- 2 garlic capsules daily (or one live clove daily)

To research each of these simply google search the term and add "benefits" and you will find lots of information. Also this formula helps with circulation problems. Circulation in the legs for instance is helped by using this formula.

After my father's heart surgery I got him on 1,000 iu of NATURAL ... not synthetic Vit E a day. He never got a build up and he lived 20 years after his heart surgery. Start with 200 iu of natural Vitamin E (d alpha tocopherol) NOT dl alpha tocopherol... And over a month increase to 400 etc till you are at 600 minimum. Vit E will thin the blood, so if one is on a blood thinner, you'd need to begin cutting back on the thinner as you increase the E. Asprin is a thinner, don't forget.

Hi, This is in response to Abhi, Rameshchandra, David, Tara and Raghav, heart attack and having stent placed is no disqualification to take the natural things. All the ingredients of the mixture you are talking about are what we eat day to day, they are very healthy and are heart friendly and under no circumstances they will harm the heart. Ted and Bill have written a lot on this subject on this site so feel free to take it. Statins on the contrary have very strong side effects and in my opinion should be avoided as for as possible, they do less good and more harm. Ted on this site has recommended lemon oil 10 drops twice a day as a good aid to clean the arteries. Good Luck

Sandra: Not sure to agree or disagree with your position as it has been long advised that cooking with ironware is a good way to get Iron in the diet/body. Colloidal Silver Generators produce high levels of Ionic Silver for human consumption for ant-pathogen treatment.

Of course, Ionic Trace Minerals is our best source of (trace) minerals. Cooked or supplemented Liver is also a good source of minerals, which, ironically is not a vegetable source.

Copperware has copper but it is "inorganic" so the body won't be able to use it and you will end up being copper toxic. You need to eat organic copper (in plants). Getting minerals from plants also gives you the correct ratios of other minerals as well.

I have read reported that the mineral Copper is very important for the integrity of arterial structure or tissue; so cooking with Copperware may be advised. Take 25 mg Zinc occasionally to balance the Cu.

Lee, from the instructions it looks like you need to avoid stainless steel. If you have a crock pot/slow cooker you could use that if it has an earthenware (china) inner. Note that only wooden utensils are used.

I think I would also add cayenne pepper into this (1 450mg capsule) or a couple of teaspoons.

Hi Patrick, Well, I don't think that the color would be greenish. Since we add the honey in to the mixture that gives a kind of dark color to it. But, as I have said earlier if the mixture is kept in the fridge it is ok to use. Because if it is kept out in the room temp. It gets fermented and then the taste is affected, but as for benifits are concerned in my opinion should not change, because fermented food to some extent is healthy, like khimchi, ACV. Good Luck

If I may contribute to this. I am 55 - I had 2 heart attacks in 1996. I was one of the people who wanted to find alternative treatment and not go under the knife first. I did Chelation Therapy in Toronto - done by Dr. Hui. However, as soon as he introduced Plaquex (intro-venus) I started to feel much, much improvement. You can find facts on Plaquex here:

I also changed my diet because if you keep on doing what you always did, it will not be possible for you to get better for long. I reduced meat to minimum and eat mostly vegetables and fruit. I drink pure water 4L per day. I take Turmeric , Sage, Q10, Vitamin E 1600/day... There is no one treatement that is enough.

I hope this helps.

Denise: It seems only appropriate to treat the Hep-C first... Until cured, then you could try protocols for Heart and Cardiovascular.

With a longstanding undiagnosed Chronic Active Viral Hep I was excited to have experienced some good results w/ BHT, but then I plateau. I then predosed w/ 2oz Colloidal Silver, wait 30 min, take 500mg BHT, wait 30 min take 4 caps Echinacea, all with a very much more profound effect than BHT alone.

It seems likely that the people who are not getting the positive results from BHT alone have some other immune draining condition.

Note to Bill from the Philippines. I am reading the same book as Denise and would also like to know if L-Arginine is not the supplement to take with Hepatitis c? And would it also apply for Vitamin C

HI Timh, I'm a bit confused as Oscar from this site has said that lysine is bad for hep-c. I've taken every protocsl on this site and more and nothing has worked for ny hep-c. I want to try the protocal I previoulsy suggested but wanted to know if L-Arginine is safe. Don't know what to do. Thanks again Timh, blessings

Posted by Timh (Louisville, Ky, Usa) on 04/02/2013 2085 posts

Denise: Too much Arginine can cause a deficiency in Lysine. Lysine is the most prominent antiviral amino. So if you would like to try the Arginine, you can purchase Arginine/Lysine caps or tabs to remedy the imbalance.

Have you no luck curing the Hep C ??? There are about 3 different protocols here in alternative country for this disease, surely you could get good results between these.

Also other protocols for heart disease which have good results in most cases.

Let us know how your doing.

I've got a question for Bill of the Philppines ir anyone knowledgeable in the topic. I am reading "No More Heart Disease" by Dr. Louis Ignarro. He has a protocol for getting your own body to produce more Nitric Oxide (NO) and one of the supplements is L-Arginine which he recommends taking 4-6 grams per day. He says it might cause herpes in a very small percentage of people. I'm wondering if L-Arginine is OK to take as I have hepatitis c. ?? Dr. Ignarro won the Novel prise for this information.

Yes... Take it slow and build up the Apple Cider Vinegar and lemon juice over a couple of weeks, you don't want to strip to much calcium off the artery walls to fast, remember it has been deposited to protect the artery wall, probably because of something in the diet.... Free running table salt seems to be a main culprit, change to sea salt.... and probably too much calcium from various sources. The Apple Cider Vinegar and lemon juice dissolve the calcium in just the way it cleans a furred up kettle, so make sure you keep your fluids up, to flush the offending residue out. If you suffer from breathlesness and cyanosis (blueing of the extremities) have a serious look at cayenne but remember this is also a blood thinner.

I agree with Gavin specifically but generally the goal is to reduce the amount of pharmaceutical meds to at least half. Tell your doctor that you would not like to continue taking this large amount of meds indefinitely. Mention you are eating heart healthy food and would like smaller doses (mg) to coincide with your new diet.

As for the natural regimen for artery cleaning, "start low and go slow" is the safe method.

Supplementing Carnitine and CoQ10 will significantly strengthen and improve the Heart.

I'd be a bit carefull as ginger and garlic are potent blood thinners, and you are already on aspirin. You loose blood from the gut everytime you take an aspirin. Statins are contraindicated with grapefruit. Lemon juice and apple cider vinegar should clean out the arteries, might be best to stick with them. Or knock off the asprin and do the garlic and ginger?

For reduction of amyloid plaques in the heart, consider EGCG, an extract of green tea.

The B vitamins, specifically, B12, B6, and Folate, may also help to stop amyloid plaque build up in general. Extra B12, in a sublingual form, may be more effective than the amounts in a B complex.

- At least 400 IUs of Natural (NOT synthetic) vitamin E (I've been on 1,000 IUs for 30 years)
- 500 mg of CoQ 10
- 500 mg of the herb Hawthorne
- Arginine, up to 5 grams daily. There are powers in this also that can be mixed with water so the solution absorbs better
- 250 mg daily of magnesium citrate
- 50 mg selenium

After three angioplastic precedure in a period of long ten years my heart health never improved. At last I was admitted in st. Michael hospital toronto, canada for an immidiate open heart surgery. For six months I was ok but my heart complains started to come back slowly. Chest pain, high blood pressure, heavy feeling after every meal, difficulty walking on stairs etc. I am sure evey heart patient is familier with these symtoms.

In a state of frustration I determined to some research on myself. I tested every possible herb or supplent on my heart health and at last came to a miraculous conclusion. Nowadays I almost claim my heart works like a baby.

In a long period of time after bombardmant of statin and blood pressure pills your heart loses its natural activity. It needs an elignment by proper suppliments to combat three factors at the same time.

Fat and cholesterol reduction, blood pressure control and opening clogged artery. To bring a public awareness of my success story I mentioned a link below please click later.

Its about a miracle molecule Resveratrol, L arginine the ultimate arsenal to reduce blood pressure without any side effect, egg white the only cholesterol free pure protein against its rival carbohydrate to turn fat and triglycerides into body mass, and a cup of green tea all included in a breakfast. I claim is a discovery if you implement it in my ways. Trust me I suffered for long 15 years and I found a positive way to inflict an elignment on my heart one day at a time. And in 10 to 15 days your heart starts working like a baby. please folllow this link, its totaly for public awareness and to reduce your suffering not for any benefit or money.

Hello, I thought you'd like to know that I used to juice apples twice a day drinking the juice before breakfast and then again before dinner at night. My mother in law who had heart problems including heart pain, came to visit for three months during that time we were juicing, and she drank the juice with us, twice a day. Near the end of her visit, she informed us that all her heart pain had completely gone and she believed it was due to drinking freshly juiced apples daily as there was nothing else that she was doing out of the ordinary.

If you look Apple Cider Vinegar should be available in some store otherwise it will take only 2-3 months and you can easily make it at home. Just extract fresh juice with the juicer machine from any apple you find sweetest and having higher content of juice, fill up clean glass bottles with this juice, tie up clean white cloth on top and let it remain in a dry dark place for 2-3 months remove the upper scum or filter with clean cotton cloth. This Scum you can keep as starter, which will help the next batch to start quickly other wise there is no need of any starter , the spores are there in the atmosphere Your ACV is ready and is better in a sense that it is unprocessed and the commercial variety you get from the stores is processed and may be little less effective. I don't think you can skip this from the formula of 5 items.

I got a pressing feeling on my chest that radiated down my left arm, sometimes it would hurt to the extent I couldn`t walk and my brain got all fuzzy. My family wanted to take me to ER but I didn`t want to go because my dad has seen many of his friends with heart problems get bypass surgery and still die of the heart condition or come out of surgery worse. He told me that the drugs & surgeries are expensive quick fixes that don`t last. So I started doing research and ordered EDTA. While I waited for its delivery I took emergency care.

1) I took cayenne pills and

2) I drank hot peppers, garlic, lemon, and honey in hot water while

3) I did deep breathing techniques and

4) a cardiologist previously showed me if I thought I was about to have a heart attack to lean forward, hold my breath, and give myself a huge bear hug as long as I could.

These 4 things gave me some relief but they did not take away all the pressure and pain. They just eased the symptoms. Next, I took and continue to take hawthorn. This increased my relief but still I was not healed. I was still feeling some pressure and pain but not as much.

Finally my EDTA order arrived and that did the trick. All the pain and pressure left and has not returned. However, after it left I also decided to make major changes in my diet to prevent the condition from returned. So now I don`t eat meat or oils other than coconut or a little olive oil. I eat NO processed or GMO foods. I do eat some eggs. I avoid canned foods and I avoid putting foods in plastic. I also changed my cookware to ceramic and iron--natural cookware. No more teflon coated stuff or aluminum. I have at least one salad a day and I cook my own food so I know what is being used. And I feel GREAT!!

Garlic, Ginger

Tony, I do not believe that it will work without the apple cider vinegar (ACV) as that is the most important ingredient that clears the arteries. It is very inexpensive, perhaps you can purchase it online.
