Natural Asthma Remedies: Effective Herbal & Supplement Relief

Apple Juice

A friend told me about hearing of studies done on children with asthma and how drinking apple juice helped them to not develop symptoms. She realized that her severe asthma had vanished once her children reached toddler age and that she was drinking apple juice with them daily during snack time.

I have severe asthma and have had to use a rescue inhaler on average about 5 times a day, which makes me go through about 2 inhalers a month. For anyone on a rescue inhaler, you know they are now switched to environmentally friendly inhalers (or so they say) which cost many times over what the old generic used to cost. Not having medical insurance, this was a big problem for me but not one I connected to the apple juice cure for a while (bear with me, there's a point coming). I started to drink apple juice, I bought the frozen concentrate and mixed it myself in a reusable container (trying to be more earth friendly and energy saving so I do this with all juices now). I started by having a glass in the morning, after dinner and before bed. I would also have some at the onset of asthma symptoms. I did realize after two or so weeks that I was feeling better, I no longer had heavy chest pressure or lung tiredness. Those two things alone were a big relief for me as I'd been told by my doctor that either lung could collapse at any moment and that neither was strong enough to fully support me long enough for a procedure to be done. For the first time in the year since she'd told me that, my lungs felt strong. I could literally run up my stairs and be ok, I started to exercise again and I could breathe deep, full beautiful breathes! I still had to use my rescue inhaler but only once at night. It was in realizing that my inhaler needed to be refilled that I came upon a great discovery... my inhaler had lasted me over 9 weeks!!! For the first time in my life, I had an inhaler last more than 2-3 weeks max. So not only was I ingesting less chemicals (that after a lifetime of use had left me with many other symptoms) but I was saving a ton of money too! It has now been nearly 4 months since I have been treating my asthma with apple juice and not only am I breathing better but my lungs don't hurt anymore and I'm only on my second inhaler since the start of the apple juice treatment.

I did notice some of the symptoms start to come back as my allergies became very aggravated by a) an ongoing drought in my state that causes a lot of dust and such in the air and b) the maintenance men at my apartment complex cutting the grass every other day despite the fact that it doesn't need it. About three weeks ago I started to take a garlic supplement for a yeast infection (clears it up in just a few days) and noticed that my asthma seemed much better. I've since been taking one garlic supplement in the morning with my apple juice and found that I can go days without using my rescue inhaler I have previously tried to use just the garlic supplements for my asthma and they did help but not enough for me to continue them alone. Now using them in combination with the apple juice, I have found much better results then when I used a medicated diskus to prevent asthma symptoms.

First I must say this is a GREAT! Website and I search on it often. I have pretty much cured my asthma with the Apple Cider Vinegar V and coconut oil... If I leave certain beers and wine alone I usually don't need to use my nebulizer machine either.

Nose Breathing

Nose breathing reduced my asthma-like symptoms considerably. About 8 years ago I was diagnosed with allergy related asthma. I ignored the symptoms for about 6 years as they were mild. They worsened, and I had to use an inhaler every day to control the coughing. This year, I noticed that when I laughed, sang, yelled or became stressed, talked too much (I am a teacher), I would cough. I knew my doctor would just give me more asthma drugs, so I began to research alternative treatments on the internet. I came up with the Buyteko program which requires an hour a day of breathing exercises and changing to nose breathing from mouth breathing. As I do not have an hour a day to practice specialized breathing exercises, I utilized what I could: In June of this year (2007), I became a nose breather. It was tricky at first. I had to learn to shorten my sentences and inhale only through my nose. I naturally exhale through my mouth slowly as I speak. This is okay. No deep breathes in or out through the mouth. No deep breathes in through the nose either. To prevent mouth breathing at night, in accordance with the Buyteko program, I tape my mouth with cheap masking tape. It took 3 months, but I have no asthma-like symptoms. I can laugh, shout, get excited or stresed and sing.

It has been over a months since I have used an inhaler.

Infared, 125 Watt Clear Lightbulb

I received a request for more information on an infrared light. It is a 125 watt clear front infrared light, a heat lamp, available at hardware stores for about $4. You also need to purchase an aluminum shade with a clamp for about $5 so you can clamp it onto a chair or where ever it is convenient. It is often used for thawing water pipes or hatching eggs. A 250 watt light is too hot and is generally used for a bathroom ceiling fixture. This past Saturday night I had a return of asthma symptoms with a cold. This was the first time in three years after being treated 3 months with Zithromax. I was very discouraged because I would have to get to the emergency room before bedtime or I would be in big trouble. I envisioned being back on inhalers and steroids. I had an uncontrollable cough from a tickle in the upper side of my chest, the point of lymphatic congestion. I had used the light on my son who is now 7 but at that time I was on Zithromax so never had a need to use it on myself for asthma. I used the light all Friday night [about five feet away]. It stopped my cough in about 60 seconds which is much faster than a nebulizer. Saturday I went out of town for a family reunion and brought my light but didn't use it until late afternoon when I started to get worse. By the time we left for home I was not coughing but still anticipating getting worse as soon as I went to bed. I fell asleep and never woke up! I don't know if it helps asthma caused by allergy but for asthma brought on by a virus it is miraculous. I continue to use it for my son if he has any congestion which is only when he has a cold and it must be used at least an hour. It can be used all night if needed. Just place it several feet away and wear an eye mask to block the light so you can sleep. Don't cook yourself but if you are awake you can have it closer, whatever is not too hot. A researcher, Ray Peat, told me about it. I have not seen anything specific in writing. He also told me to wear light colored clothing because infrared rays from the sun penetrate light colors. I changed my son's and my wardrobe. I now wear light colored coats and sweaters etc even in the winter.

Apple Cider Vinegar, H2O2 Inhalation

After years of adult onset asthma, I feel "a lot" better since taking a tsp. of straight cider vinegar at night before bed. I hardly ever wake up wheezing anymore. Also, I have tried peroxide inhalation (50/50 mix of 3% peroxide with water in a spray bottle 2x a day.) Stings like heck at first, but I can breathe through my nose again. I also take 1500 mg, or more, of vitaman c per day. I feel great again!

Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation Therapy. I had a terrible bout with Asthma last weekend and couldn't breathe without wheezing. Albuterol wasn't helping, even the kind using my nebulizer. I got no sleep last night and couldn't go to work today, I was so exhausted from the effort just to breathe. I got online and went to Earth clinic and did a search on Asthma. I saw the Hydrogen Peroxide inhalation and tried it. I can now breathe without wheezing. I am so glad to find something affordable as my asthma meds are so expensive, even WITH insurance! I am hoping that tonight I will be able to actually lay downn in bed instead of sitting up all night on the couch because of the wheezing and coughing. The cough isn't gone yet, but as I am at home today I plan on nebulizing with Hydrogen Peroxide several times today. Thank you for providing this forum. I will also try this method with ACV today and see what my results are.

H2O2 Inhalation Therapy

Hi, Joyce! I agree with your belief that asthma is related to allergy. My understanding is that asthma is an allergy; it's just an allergic reaction of the lungs to whatever triggers them adversely to the environment whether that is indoors or outdoors (as opposed to allergic rhinitis, for example - allergy of the nose). I suppose I just categorize inhalant allergies differently from asthmatic allergy triggers when it comes down to it, but semantically, you're right, they're all based on something that's inhaled, whether that something is a chemical or that substance is from the pollens in the air we all breathe.

I am just unfamiliar with Benadryl or diphenhydramine HCL and its pharmaceutical contents, or ingredients. I am concerned with the long-term use of anything that is manufactured chemically. Perhaps my concern is invalidated as I have heard of mothers giving it to little ones, especially on long flights to sedate them, used somewhat to have a tranquilizer effect. But of course, that is temporary application. This is unfamiliar territory for me but I thank you for your input and it really gives me food for thought and more reason to research this Benadryl substance. It certainly sounds like a better alternative to the heavy drugs that are typically used for asthmatics and allergy sufferers but I'm still holding out for that all natural approach which I believe I have now found but will continue to test on my daughter before posting.

To KR from Cucamonga, Ca./asthma. Bingo! Kr, I told you that Mom is the best observer to find the cause. I am a firm believer that asthma is basically an allergy problem. If you want to see me go into a severe problem breathing, just open a bottle of Avon's Skin So Soft and don't block the door because I will have to make a rapid dash to get fresh air and get away from it! It never ceases to amaze me what different problems people can have with allergies to the same thing.

You didn't mention what time of year their seasonal allergies occur. Whatever season, it is an inhalant allergy (the pollens entered their bodies while inhaling. All four of my children had spring and fall problems that usually started with clear running noses, followed by coughing, progressed to yellow running noses and ended up with bronchitis , fever and ear infections. I never figured out what caused it initially until I acquired a mixed rat terrier doggy who coughed so bad the first fall we had him, I thought he had distemper, but he started improving before I carried him to the vet. When little doggy started the same cough the following spring, My aha button beeped and I realized that I had acquired an allergic doggy and connecting allergies to pollen from blooming plants, and since the dog stayed outside more than the kids did, I went outside to try to find the triggering offender. Lo and behold the only thing I found blooming was the big elm tree just outside my front door. It wasn't very eye-catching; just an ugly fringy mess. I guess that is why I never noticed it before! My aha sent me to our family doctor to request the prescription which was required to obtain it at that time. When he started writing, I asked him to just give me at least a pint, or preferably quart since I would be giving it to 4 kids, myself and our dog. He wrote it for a quart then and every time I needed it after. I don't know the topography in Cucamonga, but that elm tree became my alert to start benadryl in the spring and kept them on it 4 times a day until all the trees leafed out good before stopping it. Goldenrod was my cue to restart the benadryl in the fall and I kept them on it until the first killing frost. Voila, no more seasonal allergies ending up with infections and loss of sleep on my part while administering all the antibiotics and trying to combat the pain, not to the cost.

The problem is to figure out what is triggering their seasonal allergies and start the benadryl (diphenhydramine HCL) before the symptoms start. If you are concerned about long term antihistamines. I attended a workshop [probably 15 or 20 years later and listened to a man teaching pediatric medicine who said the same thing and that they had kept some children on it continuously for 4 years at a time without any problems. If you can't find their triggering causes, you may have to go that route. Another thing you might try is a tsp. of unprocessed honey at bedtime. Be sure it is processed within 50 miles of where you live and D0 NOT GIVE IT TO YOUR BABY UNTIL IT IS ONE YEAR OLD. When I first heard of this, I began trying to figure out the rationale behind it. The conclusion: bees produce honey from pollen collected within that 50 miles radius; therefore the honey is doing the same thing the expensive allergy desensitation injections do - delivering minute amounts of pollen to desensitize them to those pollens - but a lot cheaper and less painful. Honey also has some antibiotic effect. Keep up the good work and keep your hands on those reins!

In parting, I'll share another young doctors lecture before the one mentioned above. He stated that antihistamines made no difference in middle ear infections but emoving bad tonsils did. I disagreed with him and apparently insulted him and his medical sponsors when I asked what time of the year the studies he was quoting was done. His answer was he didn't know but he assumed it was winter. When I told him that speaking as the mother of 4 (2 with tonsils and 2 without), that tonsillectomies made absolutely no difference in middle ear infections but the intelligent use of benadryl did; but you needed to start it with the earliest symptoms or before they started if you figure out your signals for starting it before symptoms began. After my experiences with my own children, the first question I asked the parent was if the child tended to have ear infections in the spring and fall. When the answer was "yes", I found that antibiotics and antihistamines were necessary to get them well but I advised them to watch for the elm trees to bloom in the spring and the goldenrod in the fall to know when to start the benadryl and also when it was safe to stop it. Voila, the same regimen worked for my little patients the same as it did for my own children. All 4 of my children continued to have the ear infections despite having tonsils removed from the first and third child. With the prevention outlined above, none of them had any more ear infections until 2 of them got external otitis (called swimmer's ear) at different times in their teens. Hope you figure out your cues, if not, don't be afraid to continue it longer and if you're getting the benadryl over the counter you can double the dosage because most prescription drugs that are moved to OTC status are recomended at one-half the amount usually prescribed. We already had my granddaughter on 25mgms of benadryl 4 times a day when I took her for 2 year checkup. When asked how she was doing, my reply was that thanks to l tsp. of benadryl 4 times each day she was fine. The doctor said to make sure she didn't get too sleepy with that dose. My little one was happily playing while we talked, which is why I laughed when replying: "Does she look sleepy to you now? She had the last dose 1 dose 1 hour ago.

Thank you so much to Joyce for your thoughtful response to my prior post. Both of my daughters actually have seasonal asthma and allergies from the pollen and cold air which seems much more invasive than inhalant b/c it?s not avoidable and in the air everywhere outside as opposed to being contained indoors from perfumes or other inhalant dangers. The viruses and bacteria that they catch from the common cold or flu always exasperates their asthma and provokes attacks and major mucous build up in their lungs.

In terms of asthma, I have since come to learn that the H202 inhalation therapy is good for them only to replace the antibiotics that they constantly get prescribed when they have asthma outbreaks, or attacks. The typical regime has been the Dr. giving them antibiotics to control infection of the phlegm lodged in their lungs. I now forego that and replace, when needed, with the HP. I also use the HP as a treatment if they have fever or cold or flu to eliminate the virus or bacteria altogether.

When I was using H202 therapy to treat my daughter's asthma after an outbreak, I discovered that her wet cough turned into a very persistent, dry cough. The HP actually PULVERIZED her mucous, much like chalk on a board. It became immovable and impossible to clear. That is when I returned her to her asthma meds (steroids and albuterol) which in turn loosened the phlegm again to where she could expectorate it. I did notice that after she was able to eliminate the phlegm, her return to recovery was much faster which I, nonetheless, attribute to the HP.

I thus found that the HP inhalation does not deal directly with the asthma as far as inflammation control and other pressing issues that asthmatics must address. Instead, to keep the asthma at bay, I am now experimenting with coconut oil as a supplement for both girls (age 7 and 2 1/2) as a direct result from a post here on Earth Clinic from another mom who has been using it successfully on her asthmatic daughter.

After still much more research and seeking, I am currently also experimenting with another promising natural, alternative therapy that I will post later here on EC if successful. This one is actually nowhere yet on this site so I believe can potentially help many more people such as myself in the future.

... actually probability that your doctor didn't mention is neither viral or bacterial, but an inhalant allergy. Do your children's asthma attacks occur after they were exposed to perfumes, after shaves, colognes, air deodorizers, paint odors, etc. If after observation, you find that they do, when you find yourself close to any of the above triggers, get away as quickly as you can. You read and hear a lot about 2nd hand cigarette smoke, but frankly I prefer the smoke over the smelly things mentioned above. The smoke may give me lung cancer 29 years later but I learned that the smelly things can kill very quickly. I find it amusing that some of those complaining of 2nd hand smoke smell like they either bathed in it or marinated themselves in it overnight! I also find many more people wearing offensive odors than I do smoking. I always take 50 mgms. of Benadryl (generic name is diphenhydramine HCL and available @ Sams Wholesale Club for less than $4.00 for 400 25mgm tablets) before going out the door since I passed out from co-workers perfumes several years ago. Important: never give this during an acute asthma attack, but after the attack, you can keep them on it for a long time to prevent future attacks. No prescription is needed- just look for them in the allergy section close to the pharmacy. I have read that asthma patients are usually low on selenium, which you can probably also find (or have them order them for you) at Sams. Hope this is helpful to you and all other asthma problems.

An asthmatic condition can be a number of causes, which is why no single remedy will work for each individual cases. Much of the time I spent is finding the cause, which is rather lacking in many emails.

For example, I was an asthmatic myself and was greatly helped with just vitamin A, and baking soda. My body at the time was acidosis and lacking in vitamin A and vitamin A helped increase the mucus reducing the resistance. Hence, I later found vitamin E to be helpful.

As to a high fever issue, HP shines well especially with fever, viruses, pneumonia and bacteria. It kills it.

Asthmatic is not a condition of pathogens in many cases, it is a reaction to a foreign toxins, in which case detoxification is a more useful way to reduce "reactions". In my books asthmatics and allergies has the same issue. In which case chlorella/spirulina, adding 5 drops of 3% H2O2, in a glass of water, and the use of baking soda such as 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water, or perhaps the use of 2 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda.

Natural remedies and natural therapies are inseparable when we treat the cause, not the methods to cure a given condition. The cause is the foundation to proper use of natural therapies. Hence, asthma is often a toxins initiated by vaccinations, aspartame, toxic heavy metals, thinners, for example, being the most common of all toxins.

My son has been showing signs of asthma over the last three months, only 3, started Oct 20 with bronchitis, a couple other bouts with "virises" and asthma attacks and now has the flu. This is the only time he hasn't demonstrated his usual "asthma attacks", but doctor has had him on albuterol, steroids, and pulmicort. I am interested in using HP inhalation treatment, but a little weary because he so young. He is scheduled to see an allergist/asthma specialist next week. Also related to his health and possibly an attributing factor to his immune system is his diet is lacking in many ways, I have struggled since he was 9 months old to get him to eat, but he is a challenge! He mainly likes dairy and starches, his poop has never been normal looking, yellowish, maybe clay looking, and he has verged on anemic with signs of PICA. He was breastfed, and we try to eat whole foods and hormone free milk, meat, and eggs, but he often does not eat what we do, besides the milk. (Our daughter who is a year younger than him will eat everything!) Any suggestions from Ted or others would be greatly appreciated. In regards to his diet, my doctor says that I need to make him eat better and remove the starches from our house and read the Strong-willed child!

Where do I begin to describe my journey into the ails of pulmonary distress? It all started years ago when my now 6-year old was a toddler at 2 and diagnosed with asthma. For close to five years she has been through all kinds of drugs, just treating the symptoms of her debilitating disease. She had it all, wheezing, shortness of breath, coughing with enormous amounts of phlegm lodged and trapped in her lungs. Before we had our nebulizer and the knowledge of how to use it, we would rush her to ER where they'd give her a breathing treatment (albuterol) and another 5-day dosage of steroid to eliminate her symptoms, which, nonetheless, still wouldn't completely dissipate. It has been an ongoing, horrific battle from the beginning. Who knows how she even got this disease as she was breastfed from birth to two whole years and genetically, asthma is not on my side of the family nor my husband's!

Our next bout with pulmonary issues presented with our 8-year old who, just last year, had pneumonia in both lungs and has had ongoing issues with sinusitis and dry cough in the winter.

The final blow came with our 2-year old, who for close to 4 months was getting what they first diagnosed as bronchiolitis, then the next month, bronchitis, then back to bronchiolitis and back and forth, back and forth, never being cured and certainly not even relieved from this horrible outcome for much longer than a week at a time. The doctor just kept prescribing more antibiotics and different ones every time only to have it return worse and more ferocious than the previous attacks. Her cough was so powerful it would make the capillaries in her face burst and she couldn't hold down much, due to the force of her coughing and inevitably, suffered cough-induced vomiting (or was it the drugs or the infection, who knows?). That on top of fever often reaching as high as 103.5 and consistent reoccurrence of her sicknesses, just pushed me over the edge. My child's doctor was now telling me they didn't think it was bacterial, but rather viral since the infection didn't respond long term to the antibiotics and kept coming back. The doctor then informed me that if it was something viral, there was nothing they could do and she'd have to wait it out or possibly, could suffer for the rest of her life! Now do you think a mother and lover of her offspring is going to sit back and listen to dooms day regarding the very apple of her eye? There was not another moment to waste with the medical community so I got to work researching every extra moment I could find to get to the bottom of something natural to deliver us all from everything, including the asthma and sinusitis. I came across some natural but costly remedies for asthma that I wouldn't be able to try unless I made the initial investment which I knew we couldn't do so I kept looking...

Low and behold, I finally found it here on Earth Clinic. I intuitively knew it was the answer but was scared out of my mind to use it because there's not much info on how to apply it to children directly on this site or any other which is unfortunate because I believe the majority of asthma sufferers are children and the number one killer of children worldwide is pneumonia! Therefore, from my now new knowledge, it makes sense that the Munro HP Inhalation method is THE number one remedy for all such lung sickness (asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis, bronchiolitis, etc.). I prayed and asked God to direct my paths as I knew I was embarking on something extraordinary but unknown and unfamiliar to me. In complete and utter desperation for a remedy to relieve my children, I pulled out my Walmart brand 3% hydrogen peroxide from Aaron Industries, diluted it 1 part HP to 3 parts purified water (bottled water) and poured from that solution the little amount needed into the nebulizer capsule. During a violent cough attack, I began with my baby who breathed very little and INSTANTANEOUSLY, her cough disappeared as if she never had it to begin with. I then began giving her regular and daily treatments (2-4 per day and as much as she'd breath in one hit which often wasn't a lot because she wouldn't tolerate it for too long) of this same solution and very quickly noticed her lungs being cleared and no fever flair ups. After approximately one week, she was miraculously cured of that blasted virus that wouldn't let go!!! I took her back to the doctor for her follow-up shortly thereafter, and the doctor checked her lungs with her stethoscope. The doc dropped her jaw to the floor because I don't believe she even thought my baby would have bounced back so soon. I then informed her that I had found a natural remedy that I wouldn't share with her since it's so outside of her box. She concurred and stated she did not want to know what it was but on the flipside, she encouraged me to continue it because it actually works! I then gently "fired" her because she wanted to prescribe my baby on a daily regiment of steroids in the form of Pulmicort Respules using the nebulizer which I had already been there and done that with her sister for all these years. I apprised this doc that I, mom, would now not only be handling my childrens' infections but their asthma care as well (how empowering is that?!). Simultaneously, I began these same treatments for my asthmatic 6-year old because she was experiencing continual dry cough that previously would take many days and drugs to see any relief from. Again, INSTANTANEOUSLY, her cough dissipated and she'd go straight back to bed, able to sleep through the rest of the entire night without further disturbance. This was unheard of for all the years that we have suffered with her; we've endured many sleepless and restless nights. Now, whenever she coughs at night from her asthma, she gets what we dubbed 'natural nebulizer' and she really raves about it, no more racing heart and shakes from the after-effects of albuterol. For my 8-year old, the natural nebulizer initially helped her cough out some mucous but I prescribed her some ACV (regular, store-bought) in her juice every day and a lot of tea with honey which seemed to help her situation with sinusitis out even more. In a couple of weeks, she also was completely cleaned and cleared up.

For me personally, I started my menstrual cycle and began to experience my usual, incredibly painful headache. I wouldn't say a migraine but something close to it. I thought, why not, it'd be better than popping another pill (acetaminophen) with the potential of vomiting as has occurred to me in the past. I began our natural nebulizer treatments but upped the HP dosage a bit for myself and viola, my headaches disappeared instantaneously too and the treatments really made my heavy, achy body feel light and unloaded again. I began every two hours for up to two days and then experienced what I think could have been a cleansing but I'm not sure. I don't know if it was a cleansing because I normally get severe diarrhea at the onset of my menstruation. All I know is my stomach cramped up really bad and I could feel something fighting in there. The stool I passed would most certainly have been diarrhea as always in the past, but actually came out solid, though still soft. It was simply unbelievable! I felt 100% after that until later that night when my whole body ached and that nasty headache came firing back. I snuck downstairs so as not to awake my husband and took a natural nebulizer treatment which drove away the headache and enabled me to sleep through the rest of the night like a baby. The aches in my body left along with the headache and I was convinced that HP and I will never be apart again! There's a new one (remedy) for PMS. Currently, I only use these natural nebulizer treatments for dire necessities for myself and baby but more regularly on my asthmatic as she needs the maintenance. Thank you for hosting this site which I now visit daily to learn as much as I can. Thank you to all who contribute their input because we're all learning and growing together through the good and the bad knowing that 'all things work together for the good'

I just have a question for Ted in regard to the issue with hydrogen peroxide, used over a period of time, is it true that it erodes red blood cells as stated in the erroneous article about the South Carolina woman with MS who was injected with it IV? Can you address the red blood cell issue on that as I now understand that she died of the drugs NOT the HP treatments but would still like more info regarding the red blood cell issue.

Also, from my experience in dealing with small children especially, it is of critical importance that the HP inhalation method solution be diluted down considerably as they will not tolerate any stinging to their throat. As reported, I found the diluted solution to still do wonders for my children. Another side bar: I believe in treating children with the HP inhalation method, one should consider using a nebulizer machine instead of a spray bottle, the vapor is finer and more tolerable instead of just a mist and it's easier for them to handle the whole breathing in and out motion because the machine does so much more for them. I know in my state if a child is diagnosed with asthma, a doctor is legally bound to order the machine for them which will be delivered to your door free of charge. The reason for this being that sometimes asthma attacks are so acute that without this home treatment tool, one could die before arriving to a hospital so it is a liability issue for the doctor. My suggestion for those without this machine that are not able to pay for one is to take your child to the doctor and if not already diagnosed with asthma, get an asthma diagnosis and request that the doctor "fill a prescription" by ordering you a nebulizer machine. Just be sure not to disclose if you plan on using it as a natural nebulizer versus the nemesis (i.e. albuterol). I am not advocating dumping out your albuterol as I still keep some in case of emergencies but as far as using our natural nebulizer treatments for my asthmatic, so far so good as we have not had the need since for anything in our cupboard full of asthma-related drugs.

Another way I began using hydrogen peroxide since my discovery here is for my hair. I found the method described by someone on this site of putting the HP into your shampoo and shaking it up to clean your hair a little too harsh on my scalp. Instead, being a dirty blonde, I prefer the method of spraying straight 3% on my hair after a shower, while wet, and brushing it all the way through. This method has brightened my hair considerably, and my husband believes it looks better than a $300.00 professional color treatment. I am now back to a bouncing blonde, natural and highlighted looking instead of that chemical, bleached look. I just turned 40 two days ago and now look again closer to 30 thanks to that invaluable substance, hydrogen peroxide.

Anyway, I better try to keep this under 2000 words but I have been boosted, encouraged and empowered by the information that originated on this site. Thanks again for a job well done!

re: Chronic Asthma & Aspergillosis.

I have been suddenly left completely disabled for the last two years. Sudden onset of respiratory illness and lethargy. I'm 35 and have been unable to do even the basic of personal daily routines. I used to ride all terain 20 miles a day up north. After two years of relying on modern medicine and countless hospital stays, I have decided not to die from a pescki fungus or anything else. So I have begun taking matters in my own hands and will try anything that makes sense.

I currently began a double dose of DHEA as a natural precursor to antinflammatory, 7 oranges a day, 2xday apple cider vinegar, copper supplement, probiotic yogurt, and 4 times daily supplement.

After 3days my neighbor commented that I have color for the first time. I also have been able to get out of bed. I am going to try the peroxide and apple cider vinegar in my nebulizer and report back. I believe it will work. Make an uncomfortable environment for bacteria, kill it, get it out, and keep it out! All this without dying from side effects of prednisone, advair, and numerous others.

Thanks for your posts! Many prayers for all of you.
