I have been putting ACV on a mole on my face for about 3 days. It isnt that big. Basically the mole is really harda and flat now and I think it is basically a scab. Do I continue to put the ACV on it? Should I pick the scab? Will it leave a scar?

9 days ago I started treatment to remove a mole the size of a pencil eraser on my inner thigh with apple cider vinegar. I placed a cotton ball in the Apple Cider Vinegar for the first 4 days and changed it every so often to make sure it was still moist. I placed a gauze pad over it and taped it on with some surgical tape. Day 3 I was terrified and thought what have I done?! ?! ?! My mole had swelled up twice the size and was a milky white color (not pinkish brown like before) and it was very tender to touch and to even walk because of the placement of my mole. I had seriously thought about quitting and try to heal my mole back to normal. I didn't quit!! On about day 4 to today (day 9) I let my mole have air time and also I still put Apple Cider Vinegar on it but not as often as before. Today is day 9 and my mole is not tender and twice the size but is now flat and scabbed over. I would recommend depending on where your mole is to put vaseline or chap stick or some sort of barrier around your mole so you don't burn your skin. I made the mistake of shaving my legs and not putting vaseline around my mole and my skin is very burned right now and I'm trying to heal that up as that does hurt lol. Also it does sting some with putting the Apple Cider Vinegar on the mole and make sure to squeeze the cotton ball so the Apple Cider Vinegar isn't dripping. So far I am very pleased with the results and I will update as soon as anything else happens! :)

Yeah it should turn white and then black. Once it is black, I would limit it to once a day. I think it depends really on how large the mole is and how long it was there in terms of scarring potential. If it popped up and is fairly new, it shouldn't scar and once it turns black don't pick at it, let it fall off by itself and there shouldn't be a scar. Works well on sunspots too.

Once it is Black (took mine 2 1/2 days I would def. stop the treatment) let it scab and fall off. It takes patience. I got a little scared to leave it on too long. Glad I only left it for 2 1/2 days. By day 4 it is off but chemical burn and dry skin. Going to take more time.

I think it may work faster with the bandaid, but I would try it without if you like. Bandaids can cause damage to skin for some people.

Hello everyone. I have been doing some research about removing moles with ACV. I have always been very insecure about my moles and I personally find them very ugly. I have 3, flat, very small ones on my face. They are placed in a awkward position and I absolutely hate them. I want them gone. I have trying this method for about 3 days now but I thought I would give you some feedback. I started on a Saturday night and it's Tuesday morning. I started off with putting ACV on a Q-Tip and and leaving it on my mole for about 2-3 minutes. I was sure to put Vaseline around the mole (DO NOT PUT IT ON THE MOLE) so that way it didn't leave burn marks. I saw some people saying they rough it up with a needle but Im too scared to do that I don't want scars. I did that and then stopped. Before I went to sleep I decided to do it again but differently. I wanted to be able to get this process done by sleeping with it on. I took small pieces of a cotton ball and saturated it in ACV and put it exactly on the mole and put a band aid on it. I did not put Vaseline on it because the band aid wouldn't stay. I woke up the next morning took it off and it was red all around the mole. I didn't think it was a big deal I just thought it was burnt from the acid in the ACV. The mole wasnt black but it was a darker shade of brown. That day I dabbed more ACV with a Q-Tip and made sure I put the Vaseline around the mole. I did this about 2 times throughout the day. Around nighttime I repeated the band aid procedure. When I woke up I was terrorized. On the two moles by my nose it was dark brown around the mole and very irritated. It was kind of scanned but not really. On the mole above my upper lip it was very red around it and it had a white ring around the mole. It was also kind of swelled. It looked as if I got stung by a bee. I didn't know how to treat it so I just left it. I didn't put ANYTHING on it or around it. At around 3:00pm I decided to put the band aids on it again. At around 6:30 I took them off and checked it. Nothing has changed but I kind of played around with it. I took the cotton off the end of a Q-Tip and kind of poked at the dark brown skin around the mole to see if it would come off. I didn't want to completely take it off because I didn't want a scar. Some of it came off so I knew if I repeated the band aid process for a couple more days it will eventually fall off. On the mole by my lip the white ring and swelling has not changed. I started picking at that too but I noticed it didn't have the dark brown skin around it. Only redness and a white ring. So I picked at the mole and it started to come off. I left it alone like the other because I didn't want scaring! I let the moles kind of breathe and left them alone for about 5 hours. When I went to sleep I did the ACV and band aid process again. It is really early in the morning and I have not taken them off yet. Hopefully by the morning I will find a difference in the moles. If anyone could please give me more suggestions besides the ACV. I don't want to try the garlic or anti-dandruff shampoo. And I will not cut my moles. I heard it is very dangerous because the acid in the ACV is going into you're facial tissues and killing it. If anyone can point anything out that I might be doing wrong please do so! I will post a feedback on how it wound up in a couple days! Thank you :)

I believe the white ring is due to your body's process of rejecting the mole. Most skin tags and moles are actually skin viruses, instead of shrinking the mole, it may be trying to remove it's self. The white ring represents the barrier between the "healthy" skin and the mole. Keep the area moisterized to avoid scarring. Vitamine E.
Look into a miraculous product called "black salve" youll see some scary stuff about it, it is potent. I can attest to its efficacy, I have used it on myself as well as three other people.
Good luck!

Adding baking soda to apple cider vinegar will neutralize the acidity of the vinegar. This is the likely reason why your skin did not burn.

Hi , I just started doing the Apple Cider Vinegar treament on my mole , my mole is in my genital area. & ive always been ashamed of it. So I "rough it up " , using a nail filer & apply petroleum jelly around the surronding skin . I then soak a q-tip in the Apple Cider Vinegar and apply the Apple Cider Vinegar to the pea sized mole I only hold it on there for about 1-2min & apply it 3 times a day. Should I apply it longer? I need this mole fast gone fast as possible any suggestions?

Be sure to treat the area around the mole with the vaseline. I did not do this, and now I have painful sores and/or ulcers on surrounding skin. Also it should be noted I was putting fresh Apple Cider Vinegar several times a day, don't know if this made it worse on regular skin. still waiting for mole to die though...

So as I metioned before, I tried removing a small flat mole I have on my face. It only took 5 days for it to be off. Although I didnt get the ACV on too good so only a tiny part is still on (My fault). Still, I couldnt be happier! Having the majority off for good. It was all a SUCCESS. Good luck to all you out there trying it.

A couple of days ago I saw on the web that you could remove a mole with ACV so I talked it out with my parents and they agreed. I have a small dark flat mole right above my lip on the left. Its really annoying. Also when im talking to someone and their eyes just drift to it. So as you can see I hate this mole. This will be my 4th day trying to remove it with ACV. Its actually getting quite hard now. Im pretty sure its in the process of scabbing. The skin around it is pretty red and irritated. I am using vaseline so no worries. I just want to get this mole off my face for good. Anyone know how long it will take? Remember it is starting to scab.
Help will be very appreciated. Thanks! Xx

I had a mole just above my lip and under my nose, for years I wanted to get rid of it but my mum always reminded me it was a beauty spot and I shouldn't change how god made me. She had a point but I couldn't stand it anymore, some people embrace there moles and look good but I just couldn't do it. To me it just ruined my face, I always felt I could see the people staring and thinking who knows what. So I decided to get rid of it I always thought the only way to get rid of it was to get laser treatments or the painful way and get it cut out. I couldn't believe how much they charged just for one mole.. So I decided to investigate.
I found out about Apple Cider Vinegar getting rid of them, I purchased some and started applying it a few days later after I looked into it abit more. When I started I 'roughed it up' I soaked a cotton bud in ACV and placed it on my face with a bandaid, held it there for about a hour but I had forgot to buy vaseline so I thought I would just make sure it didnt touch the surrounding skin. But it did.. And it wasnt pretty, the mole itself was nearly completley flat which was a plus and had gone dark brown/black it had burned a layer of my skin it didnt hurt just didnt look very nice. I applied burn cream on my burn and it started to heal. I repeated this for only 2 more days being alot more careful and I noticed it was completely flat and it was turning into a scab like thing. I had been covering it with makeup cause it was so dark and the burn around it wasn't nice and I noticed it looked bumpy and I came home about a hour ago and washed my makeup off my face and it was just half hanging off, I couldn't believe my eyes. I phoned my boyfriend straight away and told him the good news. I just had to tell someone, I should of probably used a ear cleaner but I just cleaned the area and pulled it off.
But my question is once the mole does fall off do you apply more ACV to burn the roots of it or do you just leave it and apply cream to cover the skin back up?????

I have been using ACV for 5 days on the tops of the moles but only ruffing it up then dabbing ACV on it 3 to 4 times a day. Did get the scabing but not srinking. now I am trying it overnight using Vitimen E oil around the large moles and soaking cotton in ACV and taping it on over night and see if I can get them to go away. I really hope this works. Read in this section that if it didn't work I was doing something wrong. Hope I am just doing something wrong..lol

I was going to use duct tape with a hole puncher, but if bandaids work that's even better. Putting another soaked bandaid over it is a terrific idea which I didn't think of... Thanks for posting.. I will do that as that is the cleanest solution I have seen, with burning skin issue resolved.

After reading all of the comments on this site, I tried using apple cider vinegar on two of my moles: one small raised one on my shoulder and one slightly larger raised one on my ear. I roughed them up a bit first with an emery board, then held a cotton swab dipped in vinegar on them for about 10 minutes each, until I could feel it burning a bit. A few times a day I reapplied some more vinegar with a cotton swab. I did not leave the vinegar on to soak, mostly because I did not want to walk around with bandaids on.. Plus the ear one would have been almost impossible to bandage. Both moles turned black and scabbed over within a day, and within 2 or 3 days the scabs looked like they were almost ready to fall off, so I stopped applying the vinegar. On about the 4th or 5th day they did come off (ok, I picked at it a little bit, the curiosity was killing me) and they look amazing. The one on my neck is just a tiny pink scar now, and looks better every day. The one on my ear is completely gone, you would not know it was ever there. I did try it again on another (mostly flat) mole on my chin. This one I did not rough up first, just applied the vinegar, and when the scab came off there is still a tiny little light brown mark there. It does look a lot better than the mole did though. I may try reapplying vinegar on that one again.

Was up. I'm 15 and just got out of high school and working my way into summer. I've heard all the sucess stories on how ACV can remove most moles in just a few days. Well I wanted untill summer to try this method because I heard that the ACV's acid really stains and burns your skin (which leaves a crappier mark than the mole itself! ). Anyway, I have 3 moles Ive been dying to remove. So right now I started on one that was the size of a pea, a bit elavated and more red than brown. I would "rough up" the mole first till it was to the point of bleeding but it didn't bleed. I Would then apply some ACV on a q-tip on the mole for a few minutes. I would notice that the area around the mole was red and swelled, and a white ring formed as well (uggg nasty). Well I slept with a piece of cotton soaked in ACV and a bandade, and wake up to see my mole and a radius of the skin around it was black! I think it was because I was stupid and applied ACV to the area around the mole. Anyway it's day 2 and I'm continuing to apply ACV. Any suggestions?

I've used ACV for large moles also, I've gotten them flattened out (did like you, fall off, crater, wait to heal), I've still got skin discoloration but the height is all gone. So def. progress, In another month, I will get areas again and hopefully they will be all gone. I'm happy for your success, it helps w/ the determination not to give up.

In regards to using ACV for mole removal. I'm in my 40's and had always had an ugly raised dark mole between my nostril and my lip that was about the size of a pencil eraser. I was always very self conscience about it, but about a year and a half ago, I just couldn't stand it any longer... I was tired of people looking at it and not my face when talking to them. Anyway, I did some research online and found some information where people had used ACV for mole removal. I also heard that it can leave a scar where the mole used to be, but at this point I didn't care, I'd rather have a scar than have to look at that mole one more day.
I went and purchased organic ACV and started using it. People say to scratch around the edge and the top with a needle, but I couldn't do it, it freaked me out too bad. So basically every night before bed, I rubbed petroleum jelly around the edge to protect the skin around the mole, I then soaked a small cotton ball (the same size/diameter as the mole) in ACV and taped it with bandaids and medical tape over the mole. Yes, it does burn alot, but it is tolerable. I also did this during most days. My advice to you is to clean it real good in between applications. Also, don't plan on going anywhere during that week, unless you can hide it under a bandaid or clothing, because it turns black and ugly. They also recommended that you not pull the black scab off the mole, but I couldn't help myself, I did. I don't think it matters one way or another, but maybe there will be less scarring if the scab is left alone. I personally feel that by removing the scab, it helps to remove the mole faster.
Anyway, in a weeks time, the area where the mole was, was completely level with the skin around it, and the mole was gone. At this point you need to stop using the ACV. The skin will still need about another week or so to completely heal, so my advice is to keep it real clean, and keep some antibacterial ointment on it with a bandaid. The area will still be red after a week or so, but that will fade too. I do have a little bit of scarring where the mole used to be, but it's not bad at all. I'm extremely happy with the outcome, I just wish I would have known about this years ago... It would've saved me alot of embarrassment and frustration. Good Luck!
P.S. So far it hasn't tried to grow back. =)

I have been treating a raised mole with ACV. Then I applied Iodine 2% a few times. Some of it scabbed & I did touch it even though I know not to. Today the skin is raised up around the mole. Could it be just the body pushing out the mole or am I being paranoid? It looks so weird from the angle. Before it looked like skin with a mole sitting on top. Now it looks like a nipple, oh my gosh. Is this normal when using this method? I'm not sure I should continue.
Also, the mole did change color, went from brown to kinda bloody red / fleshy color & feels hard. Any advice is appreciated.

★★★☆☆BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS
Hi, I have been suffering with a flesh coloured raised mole on my face since I was about 5-6. It was a raised mole inbetween my eyebrows. All of my life I have covered it with my hair and was embarrised to go swimning etc.
I found this site last week as I was thinking of having it cut out. I even paid to go and see a consultant and they wanted £550 pounds to do this but it would leave a scar which I would of accepted as being better than what I had.
Any way I decided to give it a go in secret which is quite hard!!
First I roughed up the mole/lump on my face with a nail file and then put Apple Cider Vinegar on it for about 30 mins. next morning I dabbed it again for about 10 mins and covered it in makeup and then went to work.
On day 3 it started to turn black which scared me a bit but I carried on. I have never left the Apple Cider Vinegar on overnight as it stung to much.
I cannot tell anyone enough amount putting vasaline around the area as I didnt and it has burnt the skin slightly.
Anyway after 5 days I stopped put the Apple Cider Vinegar on as it had turned into a scab and started puttting salve on with silicone in the morning and at night.
The scab came of yesterday but I am left with a pink scar aroung the area which isnt too bad but where the flesh coloured mole was it looks pink but a more darker pink!!!
Is this because this was a deeper area and scab?? than the outside?? as I'm worried that I have now made it worse.
Please can anybody advise I hope this will just fade but a bit slower. Thanks

Hey guys..question: I started the apple cider vinegar treatment 3 days ago.. My mole looks like a flesh hump with a brown mole on it... The second day it started bleeding and some of the mole came off not all though... The hump got a little bit bigger and I observed also a swelling around the mole.. I guess its from the acid.. I use chap stick to protect my skin... The today is the third day and I saw a white circle around the mole.. The mole turned to a dark brown... Still swelling around the mole but no scab.. I am wondering if the mole will probably fall off but the flesh hump will stay.. I tried to avoid surgery so that's why I tried this way... I put the soaked cotton ball on it for twice a day.. Always 3-4 hours... I really need some help here if ppl had the same mole and had the mole gone but the hump stayed??? thanks

I started the ACV treatment 4 nights ago. I roughed up my mole (about the size of an eraser--raised as well) with an emory board, not enough to make it bleed, but enough to where it is sore to the touch. Then I used chapstick around the mole to keep that area safe from the ACV. I then applied ACV with a Q-Tip for about 5 mins, then take a piece of a cotton ball soaked in ACV and band-aided it down over night. I did this 2 nights, then I forgot one niht, and did it again last night.
I have no issues regarding the area around my mole being affected or sore.
I do have a very dark scab that is the same size of the mole, but completely flat in the location I have been treating. It is sore to the touch, but I can definitely tell it is working! I have been able to kinda peel a little of the scab, and there is NO brown underneath where the skin has regrown. I can't wait. I will update once it is all gone.
I've had this mole on my stomach as long as I can remember; I can't wait for it to be gone. This week seems like forever, but it is completely worth it! I plan on using this treatment on other moles on my body.
