So, genital warts always go white when you put ACV on them? Ive got small bumps but they don't go white with vinegar/ Does that mean they're not GW? Thanks.

I came down with Genital Warts (GW) probably due to the stress of a nasty breakup. I likely had HPV for years and didn't know it! I thought the GW would never go away. Then I found the ACV treatment. OMG!

I slept with cotton balls soaked with ACV and held in place with a pantyliner to keep everything moist. I was also using Wartrol topically and orally during the day.

Although the stinging was (very!!!) painful for the three days I treated, overall it was worth it and then some! After three days for treatment, my GW are GONE!!! I did find that the skin in and around the areas I treated was burned, and now that it's healing, it's uncomfortable, but I now know that I have to check myself regularly, and at the first signs of a GW, I will RUN to the kitchen cupboard!!

Thanks to everyone on this board for your feedback. Not only did I not feel alone, but I feel like a normal person again.

I am a 33 year old male. I first saw warts on the base of my penis 2 years ago. I have been living in a nightmare ever since. I have seen several doctors including dermatologist and they all agreed that the warts will never go away. One doctor made me feel like a leopor and refused to treat me with the cryogenic method stating, "what's the difference, they'll just come back"

I was buying the home freeze kits and using those for almost a year. They would work sometimes but not all the time. condolox and aldara did not work for me. Condyllox was also very irritating and destructive.

Finally I found the Apple Cider Vinegar method.

I placed cotton balls in a bowl and poured on the ACV. I let it sit for 5-10 mins. I tore the cotton into sections that would cover the wart clusters and covered them with band aids.

I did this before bed and went to sleep.

The first morning, the warts were white and puffy. A couple of them were already grey. By noon they were black. I felt very lucky since that is what has to happen for them to fall off( or so other posts have stated).

I repeated the treatment the second night and the warts that did not turn black on the first night are now black with a few small white ones I couldn't tell were warts just a few days ago. After a full count I was shocked to discover that I have over 20 warts down there. I only knew of 6-8.

Today I feel powerful and enlightened. I even had a stubborn wart come off in the shower. This is on the second morning.

Big tip for people struggling with this: Dont give up!!

I will say I have had no pain so far, just mild stinging. I feel lucky and it might be because I froze them a couple days before starting the ACV.

Good luck to the rest of you. For me, hope is back!!

In the last week my situation got worse quickly and I reached a breaking point.

HPV cured by Apple Cider Vinegar

So It's been about 3 years since i contracted this godawful disease and I've nailed down a remedy that works every time these buggers try to make a comeback.

What you'll need (or what I needed I should say):

-Apple Cider Vinegar (sold at ANY grocery store)
-Toilet Paper (the good and thick stuff)
-Saran Plastic wrap
-Hydrogen Peroxide
-Tea Tree Oil
-Neosporin (original formula, accept no substitute.)

So, a couple things before i begin describing the regiment:

DO:

-keep clean. Shower every day. Soaking will help dead tissue peel off.
-stay hydrated and keep normal sleep cycles.
-WEAR PROTECTION if you're going to have sex. I wouldn't wish HPV on my worst enemy.

DO NOT:

-pick-at or mess with your outbreak, the less you mess with it the quicker it will heal.
-smoke cigarettes. I quit because of HPV, you should too. It DEPLETES your immune system.
-stress yourself out. Stress will cause it to get worse. Be sure to relieve your stress!
-think this is the end of your sex life. Maintain a positive outlook on beating this.

The Regiment:

The sum of my outbreaks always occur on the glans or as low as the scar of my circumcision, never lower, and the problem i had at first was finding away to apply the ACV to my affected areas for long enough without having to spend an hour or so a day in the bathroom. So what I came up with is taking two attached squares of toilet paper, folding them lengthwise in half, then dousing them in the ACV (just enough to dampen the t.p.). After this, I would wrap the ACV soaked t.p. around the glans and inner foreskin of my penis, and sort of squeeze to make sure I was making contact to the entire area. At this point, you're going to have to secure the t.p. in place, so what i came up with was using plastic wrap to basically gift wrap the t.p. to my penis. Remember too pee before you put it on, and keep it on for 45 min to an hour. You're going to find that the warts turn white, eventually with a red/grey/black spot in the middle (that is the root)

Don't go for longer than an hour! Slow and steady is the ticket. I would wrap every day until they are gone (no white spots appear after soaking), and if it seems your skin is becoming too raw, take a day off. Know now that this is going to cause slight discomfort, the acidity of the ACV is essentially going to burn the warts off, after a while you wont notice the slight amount of stinging (that means It's working). The best time of the day to do this is right before you take a shower, so you can wash the ACV off afterward (It doesn't smell good at all).

I used to wrap after showering, but the problem with that it that my skin was too soft after soaking, and it was also damaging the skin around the warts. I should also note that you're going to want use this method rather than just trying to spot onto the warts you know you have, because this method will get rid of the ones you don't see as well, as they will turn white after soaking in ACV. Remember also not to try to remove the warts after they turn white (you're probably going to want to, but fight the urge to mess with them). Be patient, they'll begin falling off themselves within a few days of treatment.

In the shower I found using Dial antibacterial soap worked best. At the end of the shower give the area you soaked just a splash of hydrogen peroxide to help dead tissue deteriorate, and to prevent infection. After you've dried from your shower get your tea tree oil and put just 2 or 3 drops onto the affected area and rub it gently into the skin (small circles). After a few days you'll find the warts are going to start peeling off, don't pick at them, they will come off when they're ready! Allow the tea tree oil to soak in for a couple minutes (this feels really good, kind of a cooling sensation and smells great too), then simply apply the Neosporin (this will speed the healing process immensely by preventing your skin from drying out any cracking). If you feel so compelled you can go one further and bandage, but as long as you change into clean undies every day you're going to be fine. I usually repeat the tea tree oil and Neosporin 3 times a day, just to keep the area clean and moisturized.

That's about it, It's a long hard road but once you beat this, It's like being born again. Remember to wrap it up (as if you haven't learned your lesson already). It's a damn shame doctors will never tell you about this remedy, after all, if they did, all those BS medications and temporary procedures they prescribe wouldn't make them any money. We are united in struggle, I just hope i can help someone anonymously because I'm taking the secret of having HPV to my grave. Godspeed friends, be well.

My question is: I followed the advise of putting apple cider vinegar directly on my genital sore caused, with a cotton ball damped with it in the 2nd or 3rd day after the sore appeared. But, it first hurt a lot and then it change its color to red, like blood. Is it normal? is it okay, or do I have to stop immediately? Can I continue more days with this process and ignore it as something normal. Please let me know so I dont get any worse. thank you!

Replying to A. of Kendall, Florida who posted on 11/29/2009: I'm thinking that you may not be dealing with venereal warts. When you say, "it first hurt a lot and then it change its color to red, like blood", it sounds to me as though you may be dealing with herpes sores. I have had herpes now for over 15 years and I am certain that applying ACV to a herpes sore would hurt indeed. Herpes sores are typically tender and sometimes quite painful in the initial days of outbreaks. Some have a pale red or pink color at onset and can easily become further reddened if irritated. I dare say that applying ACV to a herpes sore would definitely cause irritation.

You can be relatively certain that it is a herpes sore if it disappeared on its own in a week or two. Untreated venereal warts don't do that.

If this is the case, you may wish to have yourself checked out for genital herpes. It is definitely a condition about which you will want to become educated. It's not the end of the world nor your sex life. Education will eliminate a lot of fears and concerns. The bad news is, there's no cure. The good news is, the longer you have it, the less frequently you will experience outbreaks.

But again, it does sound more like a herpes sore that you are dealing with. I've never had a venereal wart hurt "a lot" nor have I ever had one turn blood red. Herpes sores are another matter. Get it checked.

This disease sucks! I've had it since i was in my early 20s. Basically a result of a bad one night stand gone horribly wrong. I'm 36 now and depending on my stress or if i get sick i can most certainly count on an outbreak. My case is relatively mild compared to others. When i get them they are flat and resemble a red sore area. Its very atypical but I've been to my doctor numerous times and each time have all the herpes, syphilis etc etc etc blood work done (even though they did test a tissue sample a few years back and it indicated HPV) each time my blood work always comes back negative for everything.

Doctors are the most unhelpful when dealing with this. Last week I went again for the second time and the last thing my doctor asked while scratching her head not knowing really how to cure this thing. My doctor asked, "Well, is this something you could sort of just live with?" Yeah my ---- looks like it just vacationed on a leper colony and I'm just supposed to be ok with that. grrrrr!

So I tried this ACV thing. Stung like a bitch, yes, but I must say i think its working. The first day I soaked a tiny little pieces of a cotton ball in the ACV , put it over the trouble spots (there's two) and left it to do its thing while watching TV at the end of the day for about 4 or 5 hours.

I also tried to keep it on at night while i slept but ended up taking it off at around 2am or so because it hurt sooooo bad.

The next day it was red and raw and really hurt. To keep my junk from swinging around to much i put a sock on it under my clothes (obviously)...lol...you'll notice a few more winks and smiles from everyone after you do this.

Because it was so raw, the second day i just left it alone. About all i did was apply bacitracin.

On day 3 (today) Ive noticed the spots have turned blackish and have dried out a bit. I'm applying the ACV again for about an hour before work. Depending on how they feel I may do the same again this evening.

Out of ALL the remedies I've tried this is the only treatment that has made a difference. I've had all the creams from the doctor..they dont work. Silver oxide gel...doesn't work....honey, nope just tastes sweet...neosporin doesnt work but will ease irritation. I even convinced the doctor to give me prescription strength antibiotic solution to apply to it...doesn't do a damn thing except keep it from getting infected. Last but not least I was told by my doctor to try yeast infection cream...total waste of time!

I have had them frozen off before as well. I have had good results with that as well but it involves going in and showing off an embarrassing thing to basically a stranger who may or may not judge you...who may or may not be willing to even perform the procedure. (esppecially if you have one on the glans..,they dont like to freeze anything on there)

So anyway I am trying to be hopeful and as long as each day I see improvement they I'll stick with this remedy. Its been 6 weeks and I'm really looking forward to sex again!!!!

I wanted to post an update as a lot of the posts here tend to take a snapshot at either the very beginning or middle of this whole process.

To summarize:

On Day 1 i left the ACV on with a cotton-ball and band-aid for 5-6 hours.

On Day 2 i was really red and raw and in pain from the first application so i gave my self a day off from the ACV. To protect the area from rubbing when moving around, I just put a sock over my penis to add a layer of cushion. I also applied some simple bacitracin.

By Day 3 a rough, dry scab was forming and it was turning dark in color. I decided I would apply for 1 hour in the morning and then again for one hour in the evening before bed. Remember to rinse after each application, else, the healthy skin will get irritated.

On Day 4 I applied another 1 hour treatment in the morning. By now the scab was really hard and flaky. I decided at this point that my body had to do it's part so for the rest of the day i just left it alone. And I mean LEAVE it alone...there's NO overnight cure for this but it doesnt have to take weeks.

It's now Day 5. The scab I could tell was nearing its end. I continued to just leave it alone.

Tonight i felt that all too familiar tingling sensation that told me that the HPV was going to give another go at rearing its ugly head at a completely different spot. Remember now that this is HPV and it likes to hop scotch its way around. It's a frickin' war underneath your skin. I did a spot test on the tingling spot with ACV and lo and behold it turned white. grrrr...ok so this is to be expected.

I decided to do another round of ACV treatments. This time though I only kept it on for only 30 minutes. I immediately showered after, washing with dial antibacterial soap. I pat dry the area and could see the two that I had were like white craters.

I decided to apply some prescription antibiotic solution that my doctor had prescribed to me. It helps keep things from getting infected. Neosporin will probably do the same thing but this stuff is amazing. It penetrates deep down because it's a liquid not a cream.

ANYWAY, as I applied the solution, I lightly rubbed the area and the dead skin/scab just peeled right off revealing light pink skin underneath. There's still a little crater there but its NOT painful or irritated looking. I then applied some bacitracin over it. Hopefully by morning it will be healed.

So those of you looking for someone to quantify how long this treatment goes on for can refer to my experience which by the looks of things seems to be about 5-7days. Thats from the "oh crap why me" moment to the "it looks like it never happened" bliss.

I will post when I am officially clear.

UPDATE:

Day 6 - 8:

The warts have gone and I ceased all use of the ACV. The area that had been treated had a dry scab which had since washed away in the shower but what was left behind were very sore crater-like blisters that required a bit more healing. The blisters were a result of the acidic ACV which essentially burned the effected skin off, leaving behind the under-layer of the epidermis.

There comes a point where you have to let the body start the process of repairing your skin. To help sooth the injured area I took a vitamin E gel-cap, snipped opened the end of the pill and used the vitamin E oil contained inside directly onto the wounded skin. Vitamin E helps the body's ability for tissue repair. I also took the vitamin E supplement orally each day.

To keep the blistered skin from sticking to clothing, I put a small bandaid over it. If you don't do this, the blistered skin, which is weapy, will stick to your clothes and tear open and start bleeding.

This part of the process is probably the hardest because there is really nothing to do but wait for your body to s-l-o-w--l-y start healing itself. The area looked very red and sore at this stage, and improvement is seen is a matter of days verses overnight changes as seen when using the ACV. The important thing is to focus on other things and stay postive!

Day 9

Its now Day 9 and the area around the blisters are returning to their normal color. The blisters themselves have begun to close. Aside from the actual blisters, the area around them still feel a little rough, but the skin is softening a bit every day. I am using a tiny amount of silver gel which you can get at CVS. Its an antimicrobial meant to be used on blisters, burns and cuts.

I'm now just taking the vitamin E orally.

At this point the less junk you apply to the area the better. I'm still covering it with a bandaid and wrapping with a clean sock to immobilize the area but other than that just keep it clean. Shower in the morning and then again in the late afternoon.

If you are able, expose the area to as much air as possible in the privacy of your own home when it's appropriate. The extra air circulation definitely helps.

This whole process is soooo unbelievably slow. This is NOT the overnight cure you're hoping for when you begin this process. As slow as it is however, its the best way i believe to get the effected skin healed and back to normal.

Knock on wood I will be able to post a short update soon which will state that the skin has completely healed.

Day 20

Here's my last post regarding ACV therapy. 11 Days ago I posted what i had hoped would be the cure to my HPV breakout. On a positive note, ACV therapy does work. However, in some cases, the location and size of the wart you are treating is simply too deeply rooted for the ACV to be 100% effective.

When i first started dealing with this 2 months ago (jeeze has it really been that long???) I had initially started off with a single round flat wart on the glans of my penis. I then, after using aldara, got another wart to form just below along the shaft of my penis. I didn't start using ACV therapy until a little over a month into this whole experience.

A couple of days after my last post on Day 11, the secondary wart had cleared completely due to ACV therapy. On day 13, however, the initial wart which was on my glans came back. The skin on it had scabbed over by use of the ACV therapy but the wart tissue was just too deeply rooted and started to regenerate.

Not deterred by this set back, on Day 15, i decided to use ACV in combination with over-the-counter liquid nitro wart freezing products. I found that this method was very effective in destroying the wart tissue... and the wart quickly started to shival and dry up by Day 18. First i would apply the ACV as usual and leave it there for about an hour. I then took the liquid nitrogen and freezed the area. The problem with doing this is the fact that you're applying something to a VERY sensitive area on yourself.

On Day 19 I had already had a doctor's appointment set up in case I was still having issues. The point of the appointment was if i was still experiencing difficulties, i would request that the doctor use cryotherapy.

That's exactly what i ended up doing. Even though the ACV in combination with the over-the-counter wart freeze was very effective, the pain associated with applying the liquid nitro on myself hindered my ability to freeze off ALL the wart tissue.

Also, the over-the-counter wart freeze products' applicator tip is different from what the doctors use. It's made of a round spongy material about a cm or two in diameter so when you apply it, the liquid nitro only really treats the surface area of the skin.

The nitrogen applicator at the doctors office is more like a blunted needle which makes it able to get into the nooks and crannies of the wart tissue.

Long story short, I explained to my doctor what i had been doing. I asked right from the outset that I wanted him to perform cryotherapy to remove any remaining wart tissue. He agreed.

He said that ACV is basically a weaker version of the wart dissolving solutions you can get at the local drug store and that it WAS effective and SAFE to be using. But he also added that the location of the wart on the glans was inhibiting the ACV's effectiveness.

After examining the dried up scab area that i had treated myself he concluded that the wart was pretty much gone except for a "few papules" which i had missed. He performed cryotherapy and in a few short minutes he was finished. He said it would blister and then quickly start healing in 3 days and be completely healed in about a week.

This is my last post. For those of you who are freaking out about this, i feel you but do yourself a favor: Don't deny this for what it is..a wart. If its small then by all means use ACV and it will eventually clear up but it will take a couple weeks.

To make this all go away faster, don't walk, RUN to your phone and call your doctor and make an appointment or go to your local emergency center. Tell them you have a wart on your genitals and you are requesting cryotherapy. You HAVE TO REQUEST cryotherapy otherwise the doctors will just stand there and scratch their heads, prescribe you a cream, therefore wasting your time and money.

Believe me cryotherapy is the way to go if your case is serious. Try the ACV too...who knows things may improve. But the end result is the same.

ACV with cause the same kind of blistering and scabbing as cryotherapy but typically is something that take a few days to apply and then a week to allow to heal.

Cryotherapy on the other hand takes only minutes to apply and a week to heal but only if you let the doctor do it. The over-the-counter stuff just doesn't have the correct kind of applicator to go in deep enough. You'll freeze off the surface but still have infected tissue underneath which will just come back.

This whole thing has been a nightmare. Had i known, i would have demanded cryotherapy a month ago and been done with this once and for all. Live and learn i guess. Hopefully my experience with help steer others in the right direction.

i have been using ACV everyday for about 3 weeks and my warts are almost gone! i had two goups, one was smallish, one larger, and i apply it with a q-tip after my shower everyday, sometimes twice. i sort of scrubb at the warts with the q-tip, and then hold it on the wart for a few minutes. sometimes it hurts alot, sometimes it bleeds, sometimes its not too bad. when it hurts the worst seems to be when its working the fastest. they literally shrink by the day! i will go back to the doctor soon have her check them out soon, just because i'm not sure i'll be able to tell when they are gone? does anyone know how likely scarring is with this treatment?

I did the ACV treatment 3 times. Each time I would get a few warts to disappear but some of the others were very stubborn. Most of you will find many more warts than you thought you have after you start treatments. After the skin healed I would see additional bumps and then do it over again. Perhaps I stopped treatment too soon, but, the skin would be so raw and painful that I felt like I had to stop.

Last Saturday I took Compound W Freeze Off and froze the head of the remaining 7 bumps. I then waited until Monday to let the skin covering the wart die off a little and then ACV'd the area. By last night, 2 days, all 7 warts have turned totally black. These are warts that survived 3 previous treatments.

My advice to those with really stubborn warts is to treat the wart with something that will get rid of the top skin covering the wart first in order to kill the roots underneath with ACV. This definitely saved the surrounding skin. Once the buggers are black you can finish the treatment by simply using a Q tip and apply the ACV directly to the warts for a couple days and further save the surrounding skin.

Also, many people have said that you should not peel off the black scabs but I didn't read a reason why. A couple of mine that I peeled off after the first treatment came back. The reason for not peeling them is that this scab forming over the roots is depriving the wart of oxegen. You should leave it alone until it falls off and just put a drop of AVC on the black scab 5-6 times a day for 2-3 days once they turn black. I know that many of you want to get this over in 5 days so that you can be f@#king by the weekend but this is a 7-10 day process so you will have to give up one weekend. I also find that an hour a night in the swimming pool helps heal the surrounding skin.

Genital Wart Removal: First of all I must say that I am a skeptic by nature and I didn't really think that any of these "cures" would work, but you know what they say about desparation. I had a genital wart in a very precarious spot. I used small circular band-aids, some cotton from a cotton swab and plain ole store bought apple cider vinegar. After soaking the cotton in acv I placed it in the center of the wart and covered it with the band-aid. I did this during the day, because I could stay busy and forget about the discomfort, while at night it was way to painful. After a week of this routine the wart scabbed and eventually fell off. I am continuing this an extra week just to ensure that it is gone. If you are suffering from a wart, then I would suggest to at least give this a try. Endure the pain because its worth it in the end :) THANKS!

Hello everyone, I recently found out that i'm infected with HPV, cought it from a boyfriend who soon after left me for no reason. I have been infected since april 2009, and had a break out of warts in my genital part. soon after a few more dark moles appeared on the lips of my genital region and one big one on my anus.

I've been to the doctor more than 7 times to get them frozen off because soon after they'll re-appear. I'm so scared to go back and not be able to ever have them off me, i feel like the grosest person alive. It has caused a lot of stress in my life.

its been a week since my last cyrotherapy and have no longer blisters and open skin, is it safe to try the [ ACV, CASTOR OIL AND VITAMIN E ] or the [ ACV, ASPIRIN AND VITAMIN E GEL CAPS ]?

i have scarring from the freezing sessions and i'd like to get rid of this ugly problem please help me i don't know what to do

i have had genital warts for a year now, just 2 which are very small.but recently i have noticed a change they are much bigger and one is a cauliflower shape.so i read up on the net about acv, so i have been using it for 5 days now and i can see a difference.one has fallen off and the other 2 are getting black in colour. it does sting the skin around the wart and i have now got a few blisters but im putting up with the pain as it seems to be working on the warts. ill keep you update about the larger one as im sure it will take much longer.

Yes the ACV seems to be working!!! I have been using it for 4 days now and they have turned black and seem to have shrunk, I am just waiting for the little scabs to fall off now. What I do is before going to bed I shower, then spray peroxide on the area, then take off the tip of a qtip and dip it in ACV put it on the bumps and cover with a bandaid. In the morning i shower then apply polysporin on the area and this really seems to be working!!! I guess i will update in a few days:) Thank god for forums like this, I now know Im not alone.

*UPDATE* so ive had a recurrence. the area previously treated has not broken out again but it seems as though the virus is running its course in different areas. and. for a while there every wart i got rid of a few more would pop up! it was very frustrating, this has been a horrible month long endeavor since the first breakout. also i noticed that places i was first treated by the doctor with acid turned into little moles, not warts, i tested them, but moles!!! that acid crap is the devil! anyways, the warts have migrated to the clitoral area, luckily none have located themselves directly on the clit itself but on the hood and the area around it. this area has proved to be quite difficult to treat. since it is very moist and rubs while walking/sitting/doing pretty much anything the warts are quick to spread. so. for this area, this is what i did:

1. take cotton balls soaked with acv and squeeze out the excess before packing them in the affected area. NOTE* if you have been treating this area for several days and it becomes sensitive, dilute the avc with water.

2. after leaving on for 1-3 hours one to two times a day remove the cotton balls. rinse with warm water. GENTLY massage liquid antibacterial soap on the area. be careful not to pick or scratch the area, let any dead skin/scabs/dead warts fall off on their own when they are ready. picking and scratching will only spread them around. rinse. Rinse. RINSE. with water of course.

3. pat dry with some tp or a towel that you will not use again until after it is washed. apply vitamin e oil to the treated areas. again, be careful to not pick or scratch.

4. place dry cotton balls on the area treated. this helps control the moisture and prevents any open sores from touching healthy skin. do this until the warts are no longer present and the skin has returned to its normal healthy state.

5. WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER EVERY TIME YOU TOUCH DOWN THERE!!!!!!! AND DONT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE UNTIL YOU HAVE. please, be clean :) you dont want to accidentally give this to anyone else do you?

after much trial and error this is what i have found works best and may work for you. tea tree oil can be used in place of the vitamin e oil but test in a small area first. i am possibly allergic to it and it makes me itch like crazy, which made me scratch, which spread the problem. also, tea tree oil has a very strong minty odor that is VERY noticeable. vitamin e oil does not. i also take a few supplements such as prenatal vitamins, garlic pills, vitamin e gel caps, and apple cider vinegar tablets. every freakin day. consistency is everything. this treatment is working well so far but you must have patience. ive been dealing with this for almost two months now and im really impressed with the fact that i can regulate this problem with something so simple. no matter what method you choose to treat the warts, there will always be a chance of recurrence and no treatment has been proven to be more effective than another since everyone is a little different. what works for you might not work for someone else. the best that you can do is to be healthy, consistent, and to stay positive. you will beat this.

*UPDATE* looks like this method works pretty darn good! packing with dry cotton balls between treatments definitely helped keep the area dry and kept any open sores or warts from touching other areas thus preventing any further spread of the issue. i highly recommend the use of dry cotton balls as well as vitamin e oil. my skin healed much faster.

My story:

A few months ago my girlfriend called me and told me she had gone in for her Pap smear and found out that the spot where she thought she had nicked herself shaving turned out to be Genital Herpes. She found out that she had HPV and got treated at the Doctors by a series of acid treatments, followed by a series of topical solutions that worked well for her. She is wart free now as far as we both know. The Doctor's bill was outrageous however she comes from a well off family and daddy paid it. A few months later I see a wart on my penis. I on the other hand am not so fortunate to come from a rich family. I didn't want to go to the Hospital on base because I am not sure how the military looks on this sort of thing? Has anyone on here been treated at a military hospital??? So first off I read around online. I read of alot of ppl having success with Compound W. I used the stuff to burn it off with salicylic acid. This worked great! I didn't see it again. I had sex with my girl again and a few days later the little buggers showed up again! This time three. No prob, I burnt them off too! Wallah! Gone! So some time passes and this time I get a all out flare up! Now I have them all over some on my penis some on my groin around it. I burnt the ones off on the less sensitive areas and they haven't come back but there are too many to deal with on my penis. I ordered the Wartrol CRAP off line and tried the bitter tasting stuff three times a day under my tongue. COMPLETE waste of money! Don't fall for that scam. Next I paid some dude 17 bucks to access his "GENITAL WART REPORT". Which was nothing more than slabbing alot of Castor Oil on your genitals. I was beginning to lose hope until I stumbled across this forum but it seems that alot have had success, and i hope to contribute. Today is my first day trying ACV. I mixed it with the Castor Oil I have already been trying. I have completely quit smoking and drinking and have been working out alot and eating healthy, taking numerous vitamins. I didn't realize how many warts i had until i poured ACV on. ALOT. They all turn white. They are all very tiny not large and cauliflower like. I hope this works. I soaked gauze in Castor Oil and ACV and wrapped it around my shaft. I then took self adhering medical tape and wrapped it around. I am going to leave this on over night and then reapply tomorrow. I will keep you all posted. Please Reply to this post if you are A. in the military and have been treated or B. have alot of tiny warts and have had success.

Dude. Prior military. just got out in 08. When I got back from afghanistan I went and saw the dock about what I thought was jock itch, it turned out to be HPV. I've been struggling with it for a year now. I've never tried any herbal remedies, yet. But, the docs on post should give you PODOFILOX. It's going to cause mad irritation, and you might have to use more than they say, but it works... only mine always come back. I recommend you tough up and get them frozen unless they're near the tip. It only stings for a couple seconds and it will ache a little all day, and you might want to scratch it, but they fall off within a week. If i'd never started smoking again, mine would be gone. Also, everyone on here says alcohol makes them worse, but drinking a small amount not very often won't hurt a bit. My outbreaks always come from smoking. So, cut the cancer sticks if you do smoke. Hope that's helpful.

Hi! I as very interested in trying the ACV on my HPV because I have had the warts burned off twice now. Currently I am 5 1/2 months pregnant, so my sight to the area isn't the greatest. I have tried soaking gauze in ACV and applying it but I am not having the burning pain that people describe so I am wondering if it's working. But I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to keep the gauze on the area. Mine are not clusters per say they resemble white heads but they aren't!!! The warts are are all over above the clitoral area. More around the pubic bone. Also I have 3 on my inner thigh. And like I said they are spread out so I would like to have a solution to cover a large area for treatment. Any Ideas?? I am desperate and would like to have this cleared up before I deliver.

instead of gauze use cotton balls and pack them in and then tape them in place with medical tape. works great, just sucks to pull off if you have hair down there. or if you just have one or two in an area you can cut a q-tip in half, soak with acv, put cotton ball over top and then tape in place. also, unless you have the warts all over you should try to focus on the areas where they are present. acv is pretty much like mild acid and it will eat away at your skin. causing open wounds. which encourages the spread of the warts.

Here is my story and my procedure if you care to read it.
PS ive never been compelled to write something on a forum before but I feel I must because I felt guilty taking information and not contributing back.

Well, what a bloody nightmare!
One day im watching Tv and i notice some small bumps around the bottom of the shaft of my penis, at first i was under the impression they were moles because i told my girl friend right away and of course she told me not to worry about it. So after about a month of going freaking nuts thinking about it i decided it was time to be a man, bite the bullet, and go see the doctor. So into the room i go drop the pants and the doctor tells me "You got warts", im like WTF you have to be joking me. So naturally i ask how can i cure this, and so non chalantly he proceeds to tell me that there IS NO CURE and passed me a double sided black and white print out about HPV and GW's printed in 1995, yes 14 years ago, thats their up to date information they hand diagnosed patients....

So this is where everything completely fell apart for me. I told my girlfriend i had seen the doctor and what he told me, he really emphasized how i could end up killing my girlfriend with this condition, pretty well the doctor made me feel like a complete scum bag and made me want to die . My girlfriend was understand at the start.

2 Months go by

I lose my job, my good friend commites suicide/ hand full of other people die, my father goes to jail, im about to move into my girlfriends house but she decides to leave me for someone else right before i do. I am completely utterly alone. I spent along time considering suicide and i know its not the answer but sometimes the mind can only take so many consecutive blows and i felt so dirty and ashamed of myself, there was NO ONE i could talk too i felt so damn hopeless. I spent along time hating the world and despised this girl who gave hpv to me then left as soon as the gig was up, I knew i had done bad things in the past but the last 4 years i have become a new person but now it seems i was paying for everything ten fold.

I searched the internet and bought a guide called "the genital wart report" which consists of 13 pages or so on information about HPV, its about 13 bucks. It talked about the castor oil + baking soda approach as working the best. I tried it for about 2 months but had no effect on me, and the baking soda just hurt like hell and didnt produce any nice results. So after that i bought a product called "wart no more" and was excited because it was all natural, the site has alot of information on it about hpv so i bought the product, 85 bucks for a tiny little tinicture of oil it lasted about 1 month and didnt do the job.

ONCE AGAIN i was dissapointed and in the dumps.

So i got back to the clinic to have it frozen off using liquid nitrogen. For all of you who have done this method, you KNOW that it is incredibly embarrasing, painful, and traumatizing. Come back in 14 days sir and do it again.

I swear at this point the darkest thoughts went through my head. Nothing bloody worked I was so upset.

So another month went by and i decided one more time to look on the internet for how to warts. I came across this site mabey god wanted me to find it or something, because i found it on like 2kb's of stolen wireless internet.

I read the ACV technique and said hell why not, ill try anything.

SO here is my technique i used:

1$ package of medical gauze
1 7$ bottle of ACV (all natural stuff i found at the health store)
1 pack of Band-Aids
1 bottle of aloe vera
1 Bottle of VIT E oil
1 bottle Tea tree oil
1 small cup
1 set of tweezers
+ I have also been taking products called "Cell Food". Kyolic (not positive on the spelling but it is a good immune booster) and Thooja homeopathic therapy tablets to try and combat the HPV virus.

So this is the method i came up with after some trial n error

small splash of ACV into the cup
about an inch or 2 of gauze folded into a little patch
tweezer to drop guaze into cup of ACV
readied bandaid in correct spot
ring out excessive ACV from gauze
place patch of gauze over warts and seal band aid.

I did this for 4 hours durations 2-3 times a day
after the first time the warts turned white as well as lots of the rest of skin (not warts) from the band aid.
second day the warts turns ugly yellowish grey, then later that day black, then one of them actually fell off
3rd day was kinda of over kill but i wanted the job done, it stung like a mofo, but try to get one some pleasure from the pain knowing that your actually killing the warts. They had all turned black at this point and the skin surrounding my skin had become sensitive and red, i highly suggest NOT getting super adhesive band aids and just normal ones for you skins sake.

After the third day i stopped the ACV treatment and began the healing process. Where the ACV was had become a huge scab and truly looked like i had leprosy or something on my penis, scary stuff but you have to tough it out and pay no attention to it, or youll go nuts lol.

I made a little solution to hydrate and sooth the ACV area consisting of 1 tb spoon aloe 1 teaspoon Vit E oil, 3-4 drops of Tea tree oil, take a spoon n whisk it in a cup till it becomes a light green paste and apply gently. I found the tea tree oil VERY soothing after the burning from the ACV. It took 7 full days from start to finish for the scab to fall off, do no pick though or you will scar, just continue to add vit E oil or the full on paste a few times a day.

So far as i write this (3 weeks later) my gw appear to be gone and just some light pink skin remains.

THIS METHOD out of anything i have tried WORKED. NO embarrasing trip to the clinic, NO pricey BS internet topical, NO pain and torture compared to having liquid nitrogen on my package.

It ENRAGES me that the medical industry purposely holds back information to the average person, the bloody doctor could have just told me to get some Acv drop that on a few times a day n boom no more warts, but where would the profit in that be. Its truly sickening that they have made a world wide business out of your sickness. GOD BLESS sites such as this that give free information to an information starved populous, this is all the ranting i will do on the subject act far as the fda n medical industry simply in respect to this site.

DO this technique today, i would never have spent an hour typing this out if it was a lie.
This saved my mental health do it, do it now!

God bless

Okay. I'm telling someone. I got it. I don't know from who, but i have somewhat of an idea. Got checked for HIV and I'm negative. I was very mad and disappointed at myself at first, but then realized i couldn't do anything about stressing GW but to treat it. At first i was in denial, is it a wart? Hmm, well, thanks to ACV it sure was. A few of them. Nothing noticeable until u look hard enough. So it was time to educate, and treat my self, and off to the internet i went. Read a few things about ACV, garlic, onions, Hydrogen peroxide, and other herbal remedies. Also heard the horror stories of ALADRA. Decided on taking the ACV approach and this is what i did.

1. ACV
2. Cotton facial pads, and q tips.
3. Vitamin E oil.
4. Hydrogen peroxide.

First things first, ACV help identify where they are hiding. Soak cotton and remove excess ACV, leave for 10 min to see.
Second, once identified soak the cotton and squeeze of excess and apply to affected area. Tape around the whole penis, not to tight, and make sure the tape overlaps itself to tape on correctly. Leave on for 1hr twice a day for 2 days and remove. Give skin a break, trust me..
Third, shower, clean with Hydrogen Peroxide and dry. Apply Vitamin E.
Fourth. Soak q tip and dab directly on affected area for a few minutes. This helps burn the GW and not the surrounding skin which should already be tender from previous application.
Fifth, apply Vitamin E often.
Please note, you should dab at anytime to continue the burning of the warts.

I hope this helps, it did for me. Thank you all for your shared comments, and next time you look at someone out in public, smile on the inside and say, theres a good chance they have GW. Its that common!

Apple cider vinegar is has been the absolute best I had at least 6 warts with one of them so big it was a cluster. I am about 75% cleared an have been so anxious to write about this since this is the site that convinced me to give it a go. I was in a medically induced coma for a month an a half an this is why I agree the immune system plays a big role since mine was at its worse. So when I finally came back I noticed this rash of warts. Still even was to embarrassed to alert doctors it was a mess of these warts. I have not had sex in over a year do to my illness. Well anyway I was so traumatized by the site of these things I actually used a razor to cut of 2 of them after realizing this was not going to work do to pain an bleeding I found this site an right away I got the apple cider. I have used it for almost a week and the majority are gone and the ones left are for sure going they are black and flaking away.First I would use a Q tip an dip it in the ACV and go over all infected areas and then I would tear off the cotton from the q tip and dip it in the ACV place this over all of the warts and bandage it down with medical tape, I would keep this on for 12 hour intervals, no pain for me at all. My worse issue was placing the bandage on it because the clusters were in just bad spots. But thank you ACV if I did not no any better it seems this is intended originally for wart suffers its the best.

Well I was diagnosed with GW June 26,09 I was prescribed Aldara. I used it with a open mind but once I started applying the aldara to my open sores I started having horrible side effects. I did 4 total Aldara treaments and then said I could not handle how weak I was feeling. So I decided to read about how dangerous Aldara was and just stopped using it. So I started looking for natural ways to cure my GW. I think I had one maybe 2 warts total. I used the store brand ACV that I had in my house several times. Its burned but I didn't notice a difference in the wart. So I started reading that I had to use the organic ACV, I came home and used it that same day and the wart was definitly getting its butt kicked lol. I have done 4 total ACV treatments and the wart is gone, I can see where it was a little but I was just shocked that its gone.

Also for those people experiencing a lot of irritation, or soreness down there give your area a break. I just started with the ACV again after a 4 day break. Im continuing with the ACV for another week or 2 just incase, I don't want to stop and then it starts growing again. But I do not do my treatment everyday. I would say in a weeks time I do about 3-4 treatments with ACV. The area gets a little tender so I take a small break. Also make sure you only apply the ACV to the wart and not the healthy skin. I rip the cotton off of a q tip and dip it in the organic ACV and then place it on the wart and keep it in place with a bandaide (sp?)

Good Luck everyone
