I found out I had genital warts a few days ago I hate doctors and my receptionist are nosy as hell so I usually avoid going on embarassing issues.

So obviously I do research seen what mother had in her cupboard and borrow the white vinegar......

l tried a few different techniques as a women I can't exactly sleep with it on with tape so this is what I do....

1. Antiseptic soap the area (hurts)

2. Take some cotton buds and place it on each wart for 10 minutes each night (try doing it twice a day of possible or for additonal time)

This will hurt not lying here. Burns and stings!

3. Keep repeating

Most of mine has gone now or very small, after alot of try and fail or sucess

Don't do this

I'm a women so don't leave overnight between you vagina or other areas as this will burn the skin and it hurts!

Yes it did get rid of 4 warts.....but also caused the area to be raw and painful.

Leave for longer than 30 minutes another big ouch but not half as bad as the above.

Keep the area clean, unless you have major dermatology issues like me you don't want to go running to the doctors for antibiotics due to imfection without an excuse or reason. So keep the area seriously clean

it's working here, but be very careful vinigar. Great on fish and chips and wart remover not very good at working out good skin and bad skin :)

Good luck

I'm currently applying White Vinegar (WV) to my genital warts. I've been having them for about a year now. It started off as a very small bump underneath my skin just below my anus. I've been trying the waiting game and also toothpaste to make them go away. The toothpaste actually worked, I woke up one morning and they went from a pinkish color back to the flesh color and the swelling went down but I needed them gone. After months of research, I found this website about ACV but all I had was WV. I've read the stories and was convinced that it would work. It's burning but not too much. I'll post an update in a few weeks. Hopefully this works. I have faith.

It went well however after some small research im on alot of vitamins and shittake mushroom extracts (contains ahcc).

On top of white vinigar (really hurts) and burnt so badly I have had to lay off it for a few days to a week.

Major improvement only got 2/3 left literally took one out earlier and by god felt better :)

So yay :)

re: White Distilled Vinegar. I found out I had GW Way back in 1995 and the doctor used laser. They went away except for a tiny one you can't really see it is so small that when I try to show Doctors they can't see it.When I had another breakout last friday I went to the ER they could not do any thing. Then i went to a clinic, but could not get anything to treat it. SO I went to my Doctor and she gave me an appointment but, It still hurts and itch so i found your websight and tried the vinegar and i feel better already.I used a Q-Tip and soaked it in the vinegar and I applied it for ten minutes lke one of your writers said. I used three different Q-Tips to apply.I noticed a little blood and it burned a little but, it does not itch or burn anymore. 'Thank You

I self diagnosed myself with Genital Warts a couple of weeks ago. I have recently moved to a remote part of South East Asia where Apple Cider Vinegar and Tea Tree Oil are absolutely unavailable. I decided to give normal white vinegar a try anyway. I just dipped tissues into the vinegar and applied it to the warts. I did this twice over two days for 15 minutes each time. It really hurt while I applied the vinegar and continued to burn a little the next day but it was worth it - the warts are COMPLETELY gone!

I have a anus genital warts so if I use a viniger I must apply it with a cotton wool or I can use a toilet paper if I don't have cotton wool?

EC: Yes, the vinegar can be applied with toilet paper, tissue paper, cotton balls, q-tips, etc.

I had a recent outburst of a vaginal wart. It looked like a raised bumpy mass and it kept on growing, fast. It got to the size of a thumbnail and raised about 1/4 inch. I did not want to use traditional medications so I saw that Apple Cider vinegar worked on regular warts. Well I had no Apple Cider vinegar, how about regular white vinegar. I soaked a q-tip in the vinegar and treated the wart directly for 10 minutes a day. After about 8 days the wart started to disappear, more and more each day. Then the area would bleed where I applied the vinegar, something was happening. As it bled the wart was disappearing. I treated the area every day until it bled. Eventually the wart was gone and a hole was there. The vinegar ate away the wart. This took about 2 weeks. If the wart threatens to come back I re-treat with vinegar for a few days, and its gone again. I hope this helps someone else.

For the last 3 days I have been using white vinegar 3 times a day - I dip a cotton pad and get it soaking and then apply it to the warts for ten minutes. Next I taped a slice of garlic to warts and left it on for 3 hours until it was time to use the vinegar again. The first day they seemed to dry up a bit, but the next day one was bigger than ever and black in the center. After treating the area again with the vinegar it started to bleed and now there is a hole in the center of it and it stings like crazy when I apply the vinegar. It seems to be working and I am still repeating the vinegar and garlic treatment every 3 hours.

This might seem like a dumb question, but I would really appreciate it if someone can answer it. I have had a plantars wart on my foot for years and nothing seemed to make it go away, so I started picking at it. Is it possible that I transferred the bacteria from the plantars wart to my genital area. My partner swears up and down that he hasn't been with anyone else and I know I haven't. Is this possible?

You will never know who gave it to you unless you have had the one partner. The virus can remain dormant for decades so accusing your bf of cheating might not be the right thing to do. If you have it I can assure you that he has it to just may not show symptoms and he also could have had it for years and not known. Commit to deal with it together and support each other. It sucks but the CDC says that by the age of 50 most women and men will have the virus in one form or another. Its not a big deal if you get treated. Good luck and remember that so many people have this they just are not saying anything to anyone.

I started seeing genital warts a couple of months ago and was given magic wart by my gynaecologist to get rid of them. It burned my skin and they eventually came back, more of them. My warts got so big. They were so scary and covered my entire vagina lips and the opening. After weeks of trying remedies I found on this website which did not work. I turned to doing a lot of research. I read somewhere about the ability of zinc to fix the skin. I knew I had to get anything that had zinc. I took zinc supplements and put on zinc oxide + castor oil cream which can be bought at the chemist. I mixed the cream with coconut and garlic oil. Today I am wart free. They haven't grown back. I don't even look like I once had them and mind you. They had covered my entire vagina and were so big and long. I have never felt confident like I do now.

I just started a similar regimen. How long did it take? What was the percentage amount of the zinc oxide? How much coconut and garlic oil did you add? How many times a day did you apply it?
