[YEA]  I started taking the blackstrap molasses to slow down the white hair growth. I think that has helped to some degree. But, what I have really noticed is my menstrals....much more pleasant. Less painful and not so heavy. What a pleasant surprise. Usually my breasts hurt too...but not this time. I think I will be taking this forever. Now, if my little white hairs go away...well, this would be perfect!!

[YEA]  Black Strap Molasses stopped my heavy and over-long periods. After only one month of using it. My doctor was suggesting a hysterectomy because I have fibroids and sometimes I was bleeding for an entire month. I have had several surgeries in the past and I don't want to ever be cut on again. I found your site using google. I didn't really think the black strap molasses would work, but I was ready to try almost anything to avoid a surgery. Someone else on this site suggested taking ibuprofen with the molasses. I started taking both daily. I have since stopped taking the ibuprofen but continued taking the molasses daily in the morning and at night before bed. After months of my periods lasting for weeks at a time I had a period end after only six days. I take it by tablespoon. I don't like the taste but I want to get it over with quickly. I see the doctor again in October for a check on my fibroids. The black strap molasses has not changed my gray hair, but I am so very pleased about the change in my period.

[YEA]  After reading some comments regarding Blackstrap Molasses and how it may help ease a menstral cycle, I decided to give it a shot. I have HORRID cramps, particularly near the ovaries, as well as terrible lower backpain, severe muscle cramps in my legs, and the worst fatigue. My periods are short, usually 3 days or less, but nightmare nonetheless. I bought some molasses on the second day of my last mensus and within five or ten minutes of taking my first tablespoon, I felt very relaxed. My stomach cramps didn't go away unfortunately, but the leg cramps disappeared and I was simply in a more relaxed state, mentally and physically. So I was better prepared emotionally to deal with the remaining physical pain. I also noticed that I bled considerably less and as many others have reported, the color was much lighter. By the third day I was barely 'spotting. I have found the best way for me to take the molasses is mixed in with a glass of warm vanilla almond milk. It almost completely covers the taste. I tried with warm cow's was tolerasble, but tasted much better with the almond milk. Also, I would love to leave my e-mail address for other people, but unfortunately I received a rude e-mail from someone, in regards to a testimony I left about hydrogen peroxide and how it has helped me, calling me a useless idiot. It made me very sad that people actually act this way. My opinion is that if it doesn't work for you, move on quietlty and look for something else. But don't insult people who are simply trying to share valuable information with others who are suffering.

Had painful menstrual cramps when I was 14/15 years old. The doctor put me on the B.C. pill to alleviate the cramps. Years later, my friend taught me about the importance of muscles need calcium to clench, and magnesium to relax. I started taking 1/4 oz. of magnesium in ionic liquid form, and no longer experienced the warning cramps prior to my period coming on. Wish my mother had known this when I was a teen! I am anxious to start on molasses, as I am looking for a more feasible source of magnesium. Currently believe I have fibroid tumors due to the excessive flow, as well as anemia. If you have menstrual cramps, charley horses, eye twitches or any other kind of muscle cramps or just general aches and pains, try epsom salts baths. Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) is an excellent source of magnesium, much more bio-available and less expensive than supplements. You can soak in it in the tub, or make a spray from 4oz by weight of epsom salts dissolved in 32 fluid oz of distilled water. Put the epsom salt/water mix in a spray bottle and spray it on after your shower (rub it in like lotion all over). This is a home made version of "magnesium oil" (magnesium chloride), only made with epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) instead. Magnesium from epsom salts is very well absorbed throught the skin and doesn't loosen the bowels like oral magnesium supplements do. If you want to use magnesium chloride to make homemade "magnesium oil", get some unscented magnesium chloride bath salts and proceed as for "magnesium oil" made from epsom salts. Since I started using epsom salts, my skin is no longer dry...due, I think, to the sulfer content of epsom salts. If you feel up-tight, tense, anxious, nervous, crampy, etc., take an epsom salt soak. Exercise, and stress of all kinds, depleats magnesium, which is why an epsom salt soak after a work out or a stressful day is so good for you.

Anyone with menstral issues, anemia,and lots of other symptoms, please read up on PCOS, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. 1 in 10 women have it, but it's not spoken about. I should have been diagnosed at age 13 when I had surgery on my ovaries, but figured it out myself at age 50. Trouble conceiving, anxiety, the list is endless, read up on it, and talk to others and your medical provider. You'll feel like a whole new person if it is you in the description. Now I've had ACV for the last 4 wks or so, and I am amazed at all the delightful things it is doing for me. I'll write on that in another post. [YEA]  I am a 44 yr old female with Type 2 diabetes, HBP and osteoarthritis. I had almost given up on myself until 2 months ago. I found your site and started taking ACV hoping for relief from arthritis pain (2 tbs 3x a day mixed with apple juice). The first 3 days were rough, I felt pretty bad. Then I started feeling better. Not only has ACV helped ease the arthritis pain, but it has also lowered my blood pressure and my blood sugar levels have also dropped! My average was 135 and it is now 108! I've even lost some weight! I feel like I have a new found energy and my sleep patterns have improved! I don't have food cravings anymore and my complexion looks great too. I can't say enough about how ACV has helped me. I have told several of my friends about this site. They too are having success with many of the remedies posted here. May I also say that I started Black Strap Molasses at the same time (1 tbs once a day with 5 oz milk). My period was very heavy with lots of large clots and lasted for almost 2 weeks. I was always weak and light-headed during my period. I am happy to report that my last period was only 7 days! The first 3 days were still heavy but it tapered off to normal. The light-headed feeling is gone too. I am so glad I found this website. I feel like I am becoming the person I used to be when I was younger and I am very happy with the changes.

Did you experience any elevated sugar levels with taking the blackstrap molasses? I want to try it for my mom, I am concerned about the sugar content since she is a diabetic.

[YEA]  I tried the blackstrap molasses remedy last month for menstrual cramps and heavy bleeding. I started taking it right about when my period started. It helped a little bit, but I did still have some cramping. But I have been taking it every day for the past month and a half, and when I had my period this month, I had ABSOLUTELY NO CRAMPING! How wonderful! I think the bleeding was a normal level as well. Thanks for much for the info! I take 2 tablespoons of blackstrap molasses every morning in a glass of water along with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.

[YEA]  Thank you so much for your efforts in helping people like me take their health in their own hands! I have searched for years for the reasons I was feeling so sluggish and drained all the time, especially that one week (or more) a month....well I am here to tell you that there is certainly something to the Blackstrap WORKS!!!! For the first time since my youngest was born nearly 6 years ago I have suffered with nightmare periods, to the point where I wouldn't leave the house for nearly 10 days....after 5 weeks of taking BSM I am happy to say that my period was NORMAL and I am back to my old self again. I went from 10 days of misery to 5 days that I actually spent in my yard and garden. SMILE I take it as needed, if I started feeling crampy I would just eat it off the spoon and less than 30 minutes later...RELIEF! I recommend all women eat a little every day, you won't regret it! [YEA]  I was reading your notes regarding Black strap molasses, I used it for the past 2 months, I noticed that my period is less (5 days) compare to the 10 days, lighter and no pain at all. I will let you know if it shrinks my Uturus Fibroyd.The best way for me to eat it is with a glass of milk, or mix it with plain yougurt.

I was looking for a solution to my miserable menstrual cramps. I have been taking Advil for as long as I can remember because the pain has always been so bad.

I have tied other natural supplements and nothing worked. I saw the info on here about BSM and had to try it right away. I took a TBS the first day and my cramps were gone for almost a full 10 hours. I took it before bed and slept perfectly through the night. The next day I took 1 TBS in the morning (I drink mine hot with unsweetened vanilla almond milk) and by lunch I still had some dull aches so I took 1 more TBS and that did the trick no more cramps for the rest of the day. AMAZING!!!

I felt great during my cycle and had plenty of energy. It also relieved my constipation.

My cycle ended yesterday and today I took one teaspoon of BSM and I had lots of energy on the treadmill and no constipation.

Thank you for the wonderful remedy. I was soooooo skeptical but it really works.

[YEA]  I had been having heavy periods for about 2 years. About 5 weeks ago I discovered this site by accident and began using blackstrap molasses; 1 tbsp in a glass of warm water twice a day mostly on an empty stomach about 20 mins before breakfast and dinner. I also occasionally had constipation. First I noticed that I was going to the bathroom regularly and this month my period was a lot lighter. It works people; pleeeeeeeeeeease try it. It works! V

[YEA]  I have been taking Black Strap Molasses now for three weeks. 2 tbsp a day In that short time frame, I have noticed an increase in energy, my monthly cycle wasn't the horrid painful nightmare it usually is, it was pain free, clot free, and psychosis free for the first time in my life. And the nasty dark circles under my eyes have all but vanished! And they were bad, I looked like I had two black eyes. I tried everything you can think of to get rid of those dark circles and NOTHING worked before now. I look five years younger! I'm amazed at the results I've seen so far and I've been telling everyone I know about this site.

I just started my flow yesterday and I have been eating molasses every few hours, it is amazing the difference in my flow and the cramping i am usually miserable and very very heavy with clotting and so far so good!!!!!!

[YEA]  I have followed the advice of others on this site regarding the blackstrap molasses cure for cramps! Ohhhhhh my it DOES WORK! I take 1 Tablespoon daily no matter what everyday. During my cycle when my cramps begin I take another tablespoon, guess what within 10-20 minutes I have no pain, no nothing, no symptoms. I also take Apple Cider Vinegar daily as well, and I feel this is helping with the bloating I would have normally gotten. I wish I had taken advice sooner, but all that matters is that it works! I trust what I read here on this site, because it works for me! My fingernails are growing strong and I am also able to have better bowel function, all in all this natural stuff is THE MIRACLE I have been looking for., They say when the student is ready the teacher appears! Guess I was ready! Thanks earthclinic for being my teacher, thanks to all those who write there words within this site. Thank you!

[YEA]  Dear everybody, Thank you for your inspiring info about molasses. I have had fibroids for the last 3 years and all my life suffered from horrible period cramps. I was encouraged to drink 1 tsp of molasses daily with a cup of hot water day and night for the last 1 month and much to my amazement for the first time in my life i experienced no cramps whatsoever.Im confident my fibroids will be a thing of the past soon...Keep up the good work guys. [YEA]  I believe blackstrap molasses triggered my [menstrual] cycle, which had been off since July. I am using it daily 2 teaspoons in green tea and I am monitoring my fibroids-I know that it is helping with anemia because my weird cravings are seriously lessening- Love you people much, God Bless!

[YEA]  I SWEAR by this. Taking 2 or more tbsp. (I recommend 3-4 actually) of blackstrap molasses at a time and swallowing it down with water. Within 25 minutes your period cramps will be gone. Also repeat this every few hours at least the first 2 days then you can lessen it if you wish because you will also within half a day, notice a huge reduction in your flow. I know that much molasses at once is so rich (and gross!) to me but it works so well I've stuck to it for years. I used to sweat from the pain of my cramps ...I never get them anymore. The bottom line is my flow is cut in half and the days are also cut in half. Someone, please try it at least once and put your answer on here. It just works so great. Maybe you can mix the molasses in water or something to make it easier?? Good Luck!
