Unlocking the Health Secrets of Turpentine: Natural Remedy Powerhouse

I wish we could post an avatar or photo here of a couple very old steel vintage pharmacy signs for pure gum spirits turpentine with the dosages for internal use written on them. They appear to be from the early 1900's era. One is from a pharmacy in Hartford New York & the other from a pharmacy in Roseburg Oregon. Turpentine was definitely a common cure-all back in the day.

In our family we have always used it to cure sore throats. Take a deep breath (so you will be exhaling, swab a little on the back of your throat, then take a spoon full of honey, sugar or jelly. It's the best relief for a sore throat I've ever taken.
