I have been pulling since july 06 with sesame and safflower oils. I just love the sesame because it tastes like halvah to me. My skin on the top of my right foot was covered with eczema and it was itchy and inflamed constantly. It is still discoloured from all the abuse it received from me. The wonderful result though is the inflamation has subsided. I am noticing new skin growing back slowly. It is thrilling to know that this harmless protocol is helping this painful debilitating disease that orthodox meds cannot heal. Peace and Health to all.

I learned of Oil Pulling several months ago. Immediately my teeth became whiter. My mouth and teeth feel amazingly clean. My receding gums have started growing back and my teeth feel tighter or more secure. I have found switching back and fourth between different oils keeps my teeth their whitest. Sesame oil is my favorite. Olive oil gives the most dramatic results. I have also used Coconut oil. This is so easy and inexpensive! I plan to OP for life.

I have been doing this procedure, oil pulling for two days. So far so good. However, I'm curious about a few things.... Why are we instructed to swish SLOWLY (what if we swished fast)? Why do we have to wait 4hours after eating or 1hours after drinking before we can do an oil pulling (and what if we didn't)?

This winter my asthma came back - but not quite as badly as last year. I came back to your site and found oil pulling. What an amazing thig! I was waking up each night needing to cough - but the oil pulling allowed me to cough up mucus in a gentle way - I have been doing the oil for 3-4 weeks and the progress has been steady. Interestingly, I felt the oil pulling clear my sinuses fist - and I didn't think I really had a problem with that. The lungs have been more gradual - but there is definite progress and I don't need the inhaler unless I exercise too hard. The oil pulling was creating such a cleanse in me that in the first week i was feeling very tired and out of sorts. The I decided to do ACV -that was like a miracle - I was no longer tired. My feeling is that the oil pulling pulls toxins out from deeply stored areas of the body - but once the toxins are circulating - the ACV helps to flush them out. The same thing thing happened for my daughter... A side benefit of the ACV is that my blood pressure went down more than 20 points. I do think the ACV is also helpful for the asthma - I also find it very hlpful to take 1 teaspoon of turmeric in a bit of hot water or coffee each morning - with milk and honey to taste - this also helps the asthma very much - and I hope it will help create a longer ter cure...

I have been doing the oil pulling for three days and have seen increasing improvement in teeth whitening as well as gums are no longer bleeding. I also have my husband swishing and a few friends and we are excited and waiting for results to report back. I love your website and find the information most informative and hopeful.

I've been oil pulling for almost two weeks. It's not as bad as some readers let on. I first tried with VCO and a drop of peppermint oil since I didn't have sesame or sunflower oil on hand. It tasted like a peppermint patty. I've also tried with cold pressed virgin olive oil.. not bad, but not tasty either. So far I can only report that my teeth look whiter and brighter and I THINK it cooled my PMS rage as well as lightened my flow. Sorry TMI. Today I bought sesame oil and tasted it wondering if it's supposed to taste like toasted sesame seeds? Did I get the wrong type of oil? The store where I picked it up had so MANY brands and types of sesame oil... black sesame oil, pure sesame oil, flavored sesame oils. I picked up a bottle that says 100% pure since I didn't think I wanted the toasted stuff. If this oil is toasted, will it still be effective for oil pulling?

Another thing I was wondering... what healing crisis have others experienced with oil pulling? I got a really bad throat infection/cold and I rarely sick or feel ill for more than a day. Could this be the healing crisis for me? I was going to skip pulling this morning since I'm still sick, then decided to do it anyway... a word of caution... be careful when pulling with a cold. I made a mess when I had a sudden sneeze RIGHT before I was about to spit the oil out. DISGUSTING.

I have been oil pulling two times a day for about a month now and notice a vast improvement in my gums. I have had 2 root canals and at my last dental visit, they wanted to do a 3rd root canal to correct the previous two. Needless to say, I had severe gum pain and an abscess that caused me excrutiating pain. My jaw would swell up to the size of chipmuck's. I was in constant pain. I started oil pulling with sunflower oil and notice that my pain had decreased in intensity by day 3. Within 7 days, I had no pain and my abscess was completely gone. I ran out of sunflower oil and am now using extra virgin coconut oil. My gums are a healthy pink--they are no longer receding. I had a loosened tooth that really needed to be pulled but the gums have tightened around the tooth and it is no longer loose. My skin feels softer and I'm no longer plagued with earaches. I tried oil pulling with Olive Oil but could not stand the taste. Once I finish up my coconut oil, I will go back to sunflower (it is a better tasting oil).

oil pulling- began about 1st week of October. My sleep better, skin is getting softer, less mood swings, lots of laughter, better outlook on life, lost weight. I used sesame oil, some days with sunflower, now have been using coconut oil and seem to have less problems with swallowing this oil than the others. My husband has been doing this as well and is seeing lots of areas of improvment- he's a disabled combat veteran, full of agent orange-we both plan on continuing to OP and keep a record of improvements while we keep up our nutrient dense eating choices as well.

Since I have been doing oil pulling, I have developed mouth sores two times now. The first one I developed looked like a boil. It was very painful. I finally brushed it very hard with a tooth brush. It bled profusely when brushing teeth. I quit brushing the area and after a long time it finally healed up. I mentioned it to my dentist and he took a photograph of it. He was puzzled as to what it was. I'm wondering if this couldn't be crud coming out from the oil pulling. The site of this sore was on the roof of my mouth. Now I have developed another sore on the upper left side of my mouth just above a tooth. This also bleeds profusely when brushed. It's not as painful as the first sore. Please advise.

There is surely a big change!!! Even my hair has become soft , there is a glow on the face skin of my wife, me & my brother who also is now doing OP. Teeth are looking whiter, the plaque stains for which I was thinking of going to the Dentist for a clean up are fading away. But the BEST NEWS for all you here is that my wife is 80% healed from her shoulder and joint pains. I am convinced that this works. Though I have a question,my ceramic tooth filling came out yesterday, could it be because of this? Anyway but I really don't care, even there is newfound craving for food, my wife is so hungry all the time now. Sleep is better, there is a lot of energy in all of us, it works. Thanks to my friend Jai who told me about this wonderful therapy.

My wife has a painful shoulder since about 3 months, one of friends told me about OP and then I saw your site and feedbacks. My wife has done OP for lst 2 days and as mentioned on your site an existing problem could be aggravated. Today her pain in the shoulder is really bad and we take it as a positive sign. Let's see and I would like to keep all of you here posted about it. Any comments or guidance is welcome,Thanks.
