The Extensive Health Benefits of Methylene Blue

Diluting Methylene Blue

Can anyone tell me how to make a 0.1% solution from 2.303% (aquatic) solution methylene blue from a pet store?

Thanks,
Ab

Does anyone know of a Canadian source for methylene blue? I've searched aquarium and science supply websites, but can't find anyone willing to ship to Canada.

Also: my husband has used both glutathione (intravenous and also as an inhalant) and low-dose naltrexone (not at the same time) for Parkinson's. Each was very effective for about a year.

Dear Mary from Northern Ireland,Yes my father is getting along well and the Parkinson's symptoms are definitely diminished since taking the methelyne blue regularly. I am very encouraged about this and I have specific reason to suspect that the Parkinson's is at least partially fungal related in my father. He is also taking the alkaline drink with sodium carbonate, bicarbonate of soda, potassium citrate, taurine, carnosine. The alkaline drink two and sometimes three times a day is noticeably helpful as well. He has sleep apnea which is problematic at times. The alkaline drink seems to help with this some as does sleeping on his side and not on his back. I would hate to be without any of these things because I have noticed increased mental focus for my dad and increased energy. At first I believe he was taking too much methylene blue, a drop of 1% solution three times daily. He is now taking a drop or two of 0.1% two to three times daily depending on our schedules. The higher concentration may have temporarily caused a tremor that wasn't there before. His symptoms did not initiate with the tremor, but with the mask like face and a shuffling gate. Now his face is like his old self with his smile and usual expressions. He has his sense of humor and his personality again. Also I believe that magnesium is helping him very much too.Not magnesium aspartate! Also I have since learned that our eating food with msg may have correlated with a little setback he had. So now we are much more careful to avoid all msg and excitotoxins that are sometimes in mineral supplements. He takes carbidopa/levidopa three times daily as well.

Hi Jane, can you tell me how your father is getting on with the methylene blue? Is it proving helpful. A relative of mine has just been diagnosed with Parkinson's. As yet they only have tremors in the hands and I would love to get something that prevents it getting any worse, or at least slows down its progression. Any updates would be appreciated. Thanks, Mary.

I used methylene blue to kill fungus infections anyway. A fungus damages sensitive organs, in particular, the brain, thymus, adrenal, pancreas, spleen, thyroid, are some of the things I noticed. A fungus is killed by sodium bicarbonate because of its alkalinity, but more effectively so with potassium, magnesium, for example because it kills alkalinity intracellularly as opposed to extracellularly. This is known for ages and the doctor you have mentioned to me was Dr. Simoncini. However, I have went further to look at fungicides besides methylene blue which are more effective, such as azoxystrobin, afloxystrobin and related strobilurins. Those are much more effective at much lower dose. The depth in which baking soda is limited to extracellular fluids, but are limited in bone cancer and bone marrow where baking soda is neutralized before reaching these areas, hence the necessity to use antifungals methylene blue being one of that. The issue is not well explained at other websites WHY fungus causes cancer, but the cause is not fungus in itself, it's the toxins generated by the fungus, such as mycotoxin and aflaxtoxins are the well known cancer causing substance from fungus and perhaps mycobacterium. Hence, the toxicity of mycotoxins and aflatoxins may be reduced with the BHT, but to eliminate them effectively, a potassium should be added along with baking soda. The only issue is baking soda is not so effective because of its limited alkaline buffering capacity if we compared against the carbicarb plus potassium which goes much more deeper. The Carbicarb is a sodium carbonate plus potassium citrate (e.g. technical name is tripotassium citrate). In fact two major sodium that are more effective is the sodium citrate (e.g. trisodium citrate) and potassium citrate (e.g. tripotassium citrate) and sodium carbonate with equal mix of sodium bicarbonate (commonly called carbicarb). However the current carbicarb remedy in practice isn't that perfect and may cause some kidney pain because of sodium potassium imbalance, and hence, a potassium must be added to the carbicarb remedy to resolve this problem and larger dose can be taken.

It must be noted still that I have noted two kinds of cancer, the fast cancer and the slow cancer. The faster cancer are the metastatic cancer, which are viral in character while the slower cancer are the fungal type cancer which tends to cause bone pain and leads to osteoporosis. Still I haven't even cover how you can eliminate the tumors and this is dealt most effectively with a bloodroot tincture.

I hope this explains just a small portion of my approach to dealing with cancer.

For everyone with fungal infection:

Deirdre, you might want to get Ted's opinion and post it. I just read Ted's methylene blue for Parkinson's disease. What really caught my attention was that methylene blue is sold in aquarium shops to kill fungus in the fish. DING!!!!

The question pops up: Is Parkinson's disease a fungal infection of the brain?

Something else that pop's up is the Italian method of treating cancer patients with baking soda to kill the fungi and the cancer goes away on its own!!!

It would seem that if methylene blue kills fungi in fish, it should also kill fungal infections in most, if not all living creatures, so maybe this should be posted on cancer pages. As I recall the interview with the Italian doctor shown on Dr. Mercola's site, the Italians believe that all cancers are preceded by a fungus. If this is true and methylene blue kills fungal infections, doesn't it follow that maybe all cancer treatment should begin with a substance that wipes out fungi?

Of course common sense tells you to also change the eating habits that caused you to have the fungus problem

Where can I purchase methylene blue? Where did you find the information about this? I cannot find a previous post from Ted on this. I did find that you can buy this without a prescription. Thanks.

Dear Jane:

The methylene blue works, however, continual use of low dose is very helpful. However if it is discontinued, at least in the beginning may weaken the energy level, but further dose will allow the person to recover. Methylene blue is considered a super antioxidant for the mitochrondria. The best that I have seen so far. The brain is the highest metabolic rate in the body and hence is helpful with methylene blue since it increases energy level to normal levels through mitochrondria support. Taurine supplements and some potassium bicarbonate with baking soda are also helpful and supportive to this remedy too.

It's often best used as dose I have mentioned. I liked it so much I have since added methylene blue to my Emergency Aid kit as posted previously, although it remains I still needed some tweaking. Low levels of brain metabolism is what I believe to be causing the Parkinson's disease, and I have found the methylene blue to be helpful.

Thank you for the feedback!

Ted

Hi Ted,

I am amazed that after one and a half days of taking methylene blue with vitamin c my 85 year old dad, who has Parkinson's, initiated transfer to his wheelchair and needed much less assistance than yesterday. Yesterday he was not weight bearing much. This morning I did not pick him up to get in his chair, just guided him. I broke out into laughter of happiness!

Thank you a million for the information you provide on earthclinic. I love seeing the results!

Malaria

... You might never heard of methylene blue, but it was used during the Vietnam war to cure malaria. The reason for it's disuse is that taken in very high dose, it causes the urine to be blue. However, there's a cure for blue urine, it's called vitamin C sodium ascorbate! So the reason for disuse was that the doctors simply didn't give the GI's vitamin C sodium ascorbate when they injected methylene blue, or perhaps taken internally. Even so, it can easily be proven that methylene blue will become colorless. Just add drops of methylene blue in vitamin C, it will instantly become colorless. Interestingly, methylene blue works better with vitamin C, as both are related to negative hydrogen, as evidenced by the fact that if you did use ORP meter, the resultant measurement is likely to be -200 millivolts or up to -300 millivolts, which is a negative charge. Methylene blue is a negative hydrogen carrier, while vitamin C sodium ascorbate, preferably is a producer of that and is a reducing agent.
