Dear EC:

This site is very helpful and has a wealth of information. So, thank you for putting it all together. However, it would be exponentially more helpful if EC provided user forums where users could seek and share information with other users in a more direct manner. Whilst reading various posts, I realized that there were many answers sought by users that remain unanswered - even from years prior. I just know we could get the information in a better, more direct manner. The forums could be divided by topic to make it simple to use, I. E. Cancer, auto-immune disorders, skin conditions, detox methods, etc. I'm seeking information regarding heavy metal detox methods for a 13 month old. One person replied with information, but the information was not applicable to my situation. With how EC is now, I probably will not get any further in my search, even though I believe that someone has relevant information. The forums would serve the dual purpose of being a searchable source and be much like the information is now, with the advantage of having more people receiving and sharing more information - quickly. When it comes to health, time is of the essence. Thank you,

SMC (regulator555)

EC: Hello SMC,

Thank you for your suggestions! We had this very discussion on EC a year or two ago and while a handful of people liked the idea of turning the site into a forum, the majority of our frequent contributors wanted to keep EC exactly the way it is. Curezone.com, however, is set up this way and might be an excellent place for you to post your questions in a new topic if you haven't already. Please let us know what you learn!

Best,

Deirdre

I would like to request that there be a section where you list dosage recommendations for the many cures you list, how to take it, possible side effects and contraindications in certain groups of folks, as well as where you might find the products you recommend...all of this separate from the feedback responses. I see many folks write in with different ways and dosages of taking apple cider vinegar and/or hydrogen peroxide, for instance, which is confusing to someone like myself who wants to try some of these cures. Ted recommends taking baking soda with the cider vinegar to alkalize the body but many people use ACV without the baking soda. Wouldn't taking it without the baking soda adversely affect someone like myself who has Crohn's disease, GERD and diverticulosis? Wouldn't taking the ACV without baking soda mean that you are not alkalizing the body?

There are also many, many questions being asked but rarely answered. Will those be answered in time by Ted or EC? I'm very interested in some of these questions as they are often questions I would like to ask but I don't want to be repetitive if they are asked and awaiting an answer.

I absolutely love your site and have been recommending it to everyone (and I mean EVERYONE!) I talk to. I've bought many of the products recommended but am reluctant to start using some of them until I have better clarification of the how to's and what not to do. Thanks for the opportunity to suggest recommendations!

EC: Hi Dianna.  Thank you so much for your feedback. Yes, a few people have asked us for such a thing over the years! We will add it to our "need to do" list, along with some instructional videos.

Hi Denise (and everyone else! ), something I just noticed! I have the option of getting on the earthclinic site, using a laptop, and using either Microsoft Internet Explorer OR Google Chrome. I discovered that Chrome is SO much better at displaying various options, e.g., the "Open Thread" button, the "Research", "Share", and "Love" buttons actually show up! My question is, will these, and other, options be included in the upgrade benefits, AND extend to all internet platforms?

EC: Hi, no not to begin with. As mentioned above, we will just have the Reply button and will add other components one at a time.

Hi Art,

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply. I want a favor from you, if you could let me know the dose and when to take, can both be taken together. Serrapeptase, (I have 80,000iu) it's written on the bottle to be taken empty stomach, where as Nattokinase it's 100mg, 2000 FU. It's for an 80 yr old physically fit person but having high systolic about 160 in the morning and feeling of light headedness. On no medication of any sort, but supplements yes.

Thanks,

Baldev

Baldev,

If it was me and I was going to try and replicate the studies, the hypertension study used 2,000 FU per day while the study for anti atherosclerotic effect used 6,000 FU per day. I would check with my doctor, show the doctor the studies and see what he/she thinks about me using nattokinase given my current health. If he/she approves it, I would ask if I can start at the lower dose and work my way up to the higher dose. If that is approved then I would ask the doctor to monitor me regularly to see if I can replicate the test results in a similar amount of time! Because of the health risks involved in atherosclerosis and hypertension, regular monitoring and testing by my doctor would have to be mandatory!

Is there an estimated completion date for the other 50% of the website platform move?

EC: Hi Art,

No estimated date, but hopefully 2-3 weeks from now depending on how much cleanup work has to be done once the reader posts are moved over!

Old Robert Henry, I will consider that electrical feedback. I have another friend that has brain trauma from emotional abuse and she told me she wants to have it when she has $/insurance. Currently I am reintegrating Broken off parts of my heart (person) as they pop up.( D.I.D.) I am learning from a site called net burst net. I have found your post interesting and wish I had your green thumb and brain skills to process information. Let me know as you learn more by experience, about the electrical feedback program. Is it spendy and does a normal policy cover it % $ very well. I'll be following your post as usual. Thank you so much . Love, Charity

I looked all of these up and azomite is a fertilizer, so you swish it and spit? I use D+ sunbathe, K and taurine daily. I tried some cal phos but not sure about it, so I will try the hylands next time I order supplements. I will try the comfrey leaves, are they at the grocery store bulk spice? I bite a fish oil capsule daily and let it soak my teeth. I use zinc but maybe not enough. I started using ginger this past week . A dime size sliver of raw, chewed, really helped cut sinus drama from dental issues and helps liver too.( A friend of mine inquired of the Lord and my symptoms I had for two days stopped in five minutes. )Tonight I felt led to ask her to inquire for you. She heard your immune system was poor and to use St. Johns Wart tea mixed with colloidal silver 3x a day until you feel improvement. She hits the target a lot as a seer. Neither of us was familar with st Johns but I looked it up in earth clinic and it works as an anti viral and another site said possible as a cancer treatment. Also anti depressant.

I will be trying more things you and ORHenry recommended as $ allows . I recently bought a lot of gut helpers and trying to add one at a time slowly so I can digest what I eat and get better health. Also detoxing my liver slowly. Did try some spooky 2 you tube, rife for teeth and gums .Have also been listening to some frequencies on you tube over the years. One day at a time and we can win these battles . It's a JOYRNEY..lotsa fun!

Yes, I hold a big mouthful of the Azomite for a few minutes about once-a-wk to mineralize my teeth then spit it out. Comfrey is a little hard to find cause it can be toxic if taken internally, but you can also use the active ingredient Allantoin which is not toxic.

Timh,,,,,,,,, is this the same Utah stuff that I'm using in my garden to increase my soil trace minerals? I buy it by the 40 # bags. I can understand using it in a garden, but how can swishing volcanic ash help your teeth? Not doubting you, just don't understand the chemistry.

Timh,,,,,,,, I spray my skin down with magnesium prior to a sauna and never thought of doing that with a trace mineral product. See ...... you just taught an ole man something, and I thank you.

Folks need to know what hits their skin is into their body. It's called transdermal. I still have questions about the teeth thing.

Recently, I have noticed that Mama to Many has posted pictures as well as description/uses of several 'weeds'. Would EC consider posting this info in a separate place? When I see a plant, I don't remember if that's what the picture showed and I would sure like to pull it up on my phone to compare. I haven't found a book that has pictures as good as what she posts.

EC: Hi TG, thanks for the request. A new page has just been created in our remedies section and Mama's 3 recent photos have been moved over.

MAMA, I too admire the photos of these wild plants. So what does this do for those who don't live in the sticks. For me, Mama is sending me to school because I see these plants every day and have no clue as to their benefits. Now I know. For a few, this can be used . For city slickers, it is just something to read. I recall the first discussions we had about the Poke berries. Does Mama remember this conversation? I too have been half way around the watermelon.

Maybe I will just have to correct my omissions again if that is what it takes.

Hello! I'm a LONG time reader here. Today I noticed your new page format. It looks very nice but the scrolling is a bit wild. Using a laptop, scrolling just a teensy bit makes the whole page jump way too far down and it's hard to move just a little at a time. Just wanted to offer that feedback. Thank you!

We just learned that posts sent from iPhones on Earth Clinic's mobile site have been glitching since an update our programmer made last week (or longer) and we're not receiving many iPhone submissions. If you got a white screen after clicking the "submit" button on your iPhone, then your post did not come through and cannot be recovered. So sorry!

Please hold off submitting posts from your iPhone until Tuesday morning. The issue probably won't be fixed until late Monday evening. Desktop submissions are working fine, however.

Is there a procedure for sending someone a copy of an EarthClinic.com posting via eMail? Thanks, Larry / Fairfax, VA

Will Earth Clinic users have a means of sharing a particular posting with someone via eMail? I understood that Earth Clinic was to have had such such a procedure set-up a few weeks ago. Please advise. Larry K./ Fairfax, VA

EC: HI Larry,

Yes, you'll see it live today or tomorrow! We're just testing it now... As you may have noticed, we've been redesigning/simplifying the line of icons that appear below each comment. You'll be able to email or share via Facebook or Twitter very soon!

Hi EC/Deirdre :)

I've used the 'watch this post' feature, but it only notifies me if there are replies to the post. What I was referring to is a folder (or the like) where we can put posts we would like to save.

For example: When people post treatments that worked for them, it would be great if we could keep/file them somewhere for future reference. Then, if we, or someone we know, has an ailment, we can go to that folder and find the post that we saved on that topic that also included measurements, etc.

Friends and family always come to me for natural suggestions for their ailments, and I'd love it if we had a folder with saved posts with treatments for everything from anemia to Zinc deficiency that I saved along the way after reading a post with great info and saved.

Obviously, if this requires a major program overhaul, then it would be another 'never minnnnnd'. But hey, a girl can dream. :)

EC: Thanks so much for providing more information. Will ask our programmer and let you know!

I'll give it a whirl after I submit this post.

Thanks, again. Have a happy 4th weekend! :)

EC: Thanks so much, Kelly, you too!

P.S. We'll check into how Craig's List does it...

Website Comments
Posted by Kelly (Cambridge, Ma) on 07/01/2016

Thanks so much, Deirdre!

I tried using that feature via logging-in. I clicked on 'watch this post' but opted out of the notifications of future replies to the posts since I just want to save them vs. see all of the replies to them, and I couldn't find the posts I saved anywhere. (?)

No biggie, though. I can just continue copying/pasting to Word as I've done for years. I only asked in case there was a feature for this function on EC that I was unaware of.

Thanks, again! :)

EC: Thanks for letting us know, Kelly! We will check into it...

Also, according to our programmer, Craig's List uses cookies to store starred posts. We could add this option to EC, but the problem is, he says, a user will lose all of their starred posts if they ever need to clear their internet browser for any reason. Some people's browsers are set to automatically delete all cookies when they close their browser.

Once we've finished with our Android and Apple apps in the next few months, we'll start to tidy up Ted's remedies and make them easier to find.
