Re: Walter Last's Borax Article - Borax Okay With Diabetes?

17 days agoI would try putting ACV w/mother on it just to take out the redness. I would do it b/f putting the CS. When I was down in the Keys I was bitten by some kind of bug that left a huge and angry bite. It was red, swollen, and hard. I soaked some tissues with ACV and held it there until the pain went away. Next day it was no longer swollen, no longer red and starting to heal...
Borax for 20 Year Old Cat?
17 days agoI hope someone can help me out.
My lovely little cat of age 20 years unforunately has arthritis. Her weight is 2.5 kilograms.
Is Borax in this stage still effective?
And which doses can I give to her, if effective?

17 days agoHi Mama to Many - I'm an HS newbie. 2-1/2 years ago I had a purple and red spot on the underside of my left breast (actually on it) but it never came to a head or burst and healed on its own. At the time, I didn't give it much thought because I really didn't know what it was, thought maybe it might've been a spider bite of some sort. Fast-forward to a week ago, and I discovered a new lesion in the very same spot as the one before, but this time it did come to a head and burst with a small amount of blood and pus. It's no longer draining or weeping. I've tried a little bit of everything to help heal it, but I feel like after a week I should be further along than I am, although I have always been slow to heal. So far, I have tried applying castor oil topically, colloidal silver gel, homemade 10 ppm colloidal silver spray, 3/4 teaspoon turmeric powder from the grocery store in 6 oz of water twice daily, zinc tablets, 1000 mg lysine twice daily, and 500 mg oil of oregano soft gels. Because of its location, I opted not to use a bandage. The only pain I have is when I move the wrong way or sleep with my arm draped over my bosom. I've just ordered some manuka honey ointment to try. Instinctively, I feel like it needs a topical ointment of some sort to speed the healing process and close the “crater.” It's very purplish and worrisome. Can you suggest anything else I could try? Thanks!

18 days agoTreatment Questions for an Active Hydradenitis Suppurativa Lesion
Two and a half years ago I had what appeared to be a large bug bite on the underside of my left bosom. It never had any blistering or pus and cleared up on its own but was big and purplish. Fast forward to a week ago and another similar spot showed up in the exact same location, but with a bit of blood and drainage. I never knew anything was wrong until after it burst. After much research, I finally determined that it's likely HS. Currently I'm using 3/4 tsp of turmeric in 6 oz of 10 ppm colloidal silver water 2x daily, 1000 mg lysine 2x daily, 10 ppm colloidal silver spray applied topically as often as possible, and colloidal silver gel applied topically 4x daily. I'm also taking 500 mg of oil of oregano daily and 30 mg zinc daily. Because of its location I opted not to use a bandage. It's no longer weeping but still looks fairly angry. I've always been slow to heal. Is there anything else I can try on this open wound that will speed up healing and not make it worse? Thanks!

It is sad that so many medications for various diseases and health conditions have such serious potential side effects that are sometimes worse than the condition you are trying to treat.
On a related note, the following study adds further confirmation to the many beneficial and protective effects of melatonin on the kidneys as well as mentioning the very safe profile of melatonin in kidney disease :
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10047594/
Here is an important quote from this review of the literature :
' The purpose of this review is to provide information regarding the potential benefits of melatonin use, particularly in kidney diseases. The impact on the cardiovascular system, diabetes, and homeostasis causes melatonin to be indirectly connected to kidney function and quality of life in people with chronic kidney disease. Moreover, there are numerous reports showing that melatonin plays a role as an antioxidant, free radical scavenger, and cytoprotective agent. This means that the supplementation of melatonin can be helpful in almost every type of kidney injury because inflammation, apoptosis, and oxidative stress occur, regardless of the mechanism. The administration of melatonin has a renoprotective effect and inhibits the progression of complications connected to renal failure. It is very important that exogenous melatonin supplementation is well tolerated and that the number of side effects caused by this type of treatment is low. '
It seems like a good idea to utilize the protective effects of melatonin on the kidneys and other major organs prior to when you are going to be starting a medication that is known to directly or indirectly damage the kidneys or any other organs such as the heart, lungs and liver. Generally speaking, melatonin will offer better protective effects when started before the offending agent is started.
As always, you will have to get your doctors approval and supervision before using any of these supplements for CKD, to be as safe as possible.

So how can one restore the ability to digest carbohydrates and not ferment them into lactic acid and other acids which is the root cause of all so called 'diseases'.
Undigested food glued to the walls of the bowels is fermenting in the bowels and creating incredible amounts of toxic acidic gasses which puts the body under an incredible strain, forcing it to create mucus to encapsulate these acids, then forcing it to transform some of its cells into fungus/mold/yeast/worms and also into solvents (also know as 'viruses') to try to break down this acid filled mucus.
Somebody wrote under a youtube comment that he fasted for 80 hours and after that he was able to eat carbs again.
Any other methods that does not involve fasting?
Grapefruit and Orange Juice for Knee Pain
18 days agoGrapefruit/Orange Juice for Knee Pain/Cartilage Loss
I was speaking with an elderly man (83) in Florida who suffered from loss of cartilage in his knee. He had hip replacement years back and took forever to heal from that surgery and did not want to do another surgery. A friend suggested he drink half Ruby Red Grapefruit/Orange Juice everyday for awhile. He told me it healed his knee and rebuilt the cartilage.
Grapefruit juice has potential anti-inflammatory and joint-protective benefits due to its antioxidants and flavonoids, which may help with arthritis.
Re: Art's Natural Remedies for CKD
18 days agoThank you very much Art. Many people who take Tenofovir Disoproxil for hepatitis B or HIV are at great risk of developing renal tubular acidosis (Fanconi syndrome) and due to this expelling to much phosphate and bicarbonate in the urine, thus leading to osteoporosis. Especially those who take this toxic drug for years and woman in menopause. Even if the doctor changes the prescription to Tenofovir Alafenamide the risk still remain but smaller. Creatine clearance values alone might not show renal tubular acidosis, so this side effect may remain subclinical until a DEXA scan.
Your advices are great for the above problem.

Carditone Side Effects
19 days agoI read a review of a person who said a side effect of Carditone for her was a stopped up nose. Is this a common side effect? And if so, does it eventually go away?
I'm asking because I'm seriously considering starting Carditone for my BP. But I also have sleep apnea and have to use CPAP with a nasal mask to breathe. If it stops up my nose it will be difficult to breathe.
I would even consider using some kind of nasal relief, since there have been so many glowing testimonies about the effectiveness of Carditone. Any suggestions?
