Well, we are so happy to report that this, and applying ice to the area, has been a game changer! He keeps track of the pressure changes to stay ahead and keeps the foam earplugs nearby. There is a product being sold [weatherx] but it is way more expensive than a packet of foam earplugs and they say the product is only good for 2 weeks after opening.
My husband tried that one also but it is very uncomfortable and seems gimmicky.
I hope this is helpful. Sometimes he gets a migraine at inconsistent, odd times where it could be food, alcohol or stress related. And it just gets tiring to keep track and follow thru on different protocols, so he'll stick to his ice packs, ear plugs and vitamin stack because those are the healthiest options. We are also self-employed and that gives him the freedom to just take the day off so he can rest and recuperate and stay off drugs that damage the liver.
