Hydrogen Peroxide cures sore throat, any bacteria blister in or around the teeth and gums, insects bites, and cuts. Hydrogen Peroxide is great for sterlizing the affected areas. Does not sting my kids and grand kids trust it and enjoy seeing the little form bubbling up. I tell them it is killing the germs. Thank YOU a bunch. I also am a believer of its cures and yes, it was passed down by mom and grandmom and it will always be a very great cheap cure for people that cannot afford go to the doctor.

Hydrogen Peroxide cured my gum disease. Yes, cured. I had deep pockets and was bound to loose all my teeth within 5 years. I use a waterpic with diluted food grade peroxide. I also rinse with it before I brush to loosen plaque, then brush, then rinse with it again. Since then I have used peroxide for everything. I drink it, I soak in it, I even use it to water my plants and germinate seeds. Do some research and you will find that it's a cure all even for diseases we are told can't be cured.

I was reading on here about cures for laryngitis and went on to read about hydrogen peroxide. I use the low grade peroxide you can buy at any store. Whenever my gums and teeth begin to hurt, I simply put one or two capfuls into my mouth and hold them there for about a minute. The pain and ache go away and usually stay away for quite some time.

Hi, just wanted to share with you my cure for an infected gum -- hydrogen peroxide. Also wanted to respond to Subashini from Kuwait, because I may have an answer for her about the bad breath and oil pulling.

My story (I'll try to be brief)... got a piece of food stuck in the gum behind one of my front teeth. No matter what I did -- floss, oil pull, swish peroxide -- it didn't come out. I then went to a new dentist last week to have my teeth cleaned and the stuck particle removed. Lucky me -- the hygenist was just filling in for the day and during the teeth cleaning part, said she saw something dislodge but then "lost sight of it". Okay, fine, I thought. That night I awoke in the middle of the night with terrible bad breath. It was so bad it actually woke me up. Yes, I do have sensitive smell!! When I looked at the right front tooth the next day, I noticed that the gum was severely swollen, from the tooth to the roof of the mouth. The bad breath also persisted. I started my holistic regime of oil pulling, then later swishing with hydrogen peroxide. The oil pulling, like Subashini said, made my breath worse. YUCK! I tried swishing with sea salt. No luck. Finally I had the idea a couple of days ago to soak a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide and then hold it (tightly) to the swollen gum for 10 minutes. I also pinched another h202 soaked cotton ball to the back side of the tooth where the piece of food had initially lodged. Interestingly, it didn't hurt, but certain areas of the gum turned white. 10 minutes later the white had disappeared. Glad to say that my bad breath smell immediately disappeared and has not returned. My gum is looking a little better. A couple more days of this (soaked h202 2x a day) and I think I will be back to 100%. I highly suggest this technique if you have a tooth abcess or swollen gums from an infection. It is the best way for hydrogen to penetrate, otherwise it just turns to foam if you swish it around in your mouth.

So Subashini, I think your issue may be an infection somewhere in your gums that the oil pulling is bringing to the surface. Infection smells like dental plaque -- quite disgusting. My suggestion is to pull up your top lip (then pull down the bottom lip) in the mirror in daylight and look for redness in your gums. If you can pinpoint an area, then soak it with hydrogen peroxide cotton ball 2x a day for a day or two. I would predict that your issue of bad breath will immediately go away, even after you oil pull.

Oh, one more thing. You will need to bend over a sink whilst holding the cotton ball to your gums and let your saliva run out. You may need to do round 2 during the same session. Most importantly, you don't want to swallow anything! Rinse well afterwards. Hope this helps someone, somewhere. All My Best

My gums had started receding so bad that I could see a space between my two front teeth at the gum line, then I read that bee propolis can actually help the gum tissue to grow back, and it really works. No more space between my teeth.

Bee propolis also reduces fever, helps sore throat, canker sores, fever blisters and heals stomach ulcers and just about anything else you use it on.

Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda

I'm a health writer and get a lot of good tip from docs. One of my favorite, and that I try to get my grandkids to follow, is a simple mouth cleaning with baking soda and apple cider vinegar. According to the dental experts I have interviewed, the two generate a powerful 1-2 knockout punch against many of the bad bacterial that cause caries and gum disease. Here's how to do it: brush after each meal (if possible) with baking soda. Try to gently work the baking soda into the gum tissue where it meets the teeth. Don't rinse. Baking soda is a huge killer of bacteria. Then follow up right away with a swig of apple cider vinegar. You will experience a "poof" in your mouth--the result of the acidic vinegar reacting with the alkaline baking soda. This combination has helped me keep a chronic gum disease situation under control. I wish I had known about it 40 years ago when my gum problems started. You can chuck all your toothpaste tubes. There's nothing as good as this combo, my dentist sources tell me, and they are super experts. Good luck.

Avoid Fluoride in Water and Toothpaste

I've had gum disease for about 20 years even though my dental hygene is good. Nothing helped. All of my molars are now loose.

Anyway, for years the gums around several of these now loose teeth became inflamed and it felt as if my teeth were rotting from the inside out. I also had constant pain and swelling in my neck glands and ear pain on the inflamed side.

Several months ago I became aware of fluoride being a poison and ceased drinking fluroidated water and my tooth paste is now baking soda and water or peroxide.

All the pain and inflamation as went away. There have been two times I was out of baking soda and brushed my teeth with regular tooth paste and within several hours all the old symptions returned.

Oil Pulling

Wow! I just read this cure [oil pulling] for the first time and decided to try it with my organic coconut oil. I still can't believe it but the chronic sensitivity I had in two of my teeth is gone! It's hard to tell which teeth were hurting! And my teeth feel different.

Many thanks to Lucille from Jersey City. I had sensitive gums and nerves for several months after having two dental procedures - removal of an impacted and decayed wisdom tooth -lower left, and placement of a crown on a molar above. I was very sensitive to cold especially but hot as well. Oil pulling with coconut oil just three times cured it 95%. It was hard to believe after it was so sensitive it virtually went away. I rarely feel anything anymore except with extreme temperatures and I see even that declining as the days go by.

Oil Pulling

re: oil pulling-another satisfied customer!. I have been using oil pulling for about a month. A few days after I started I had a dental appt and showed early stages of gum disease (pockets that measured 6 in at least five places). They wanted me to have $1000 worth of scaling and root planing with antibiotics injected into the pockets. I told them I would think about it, knowing that I would keep oil pulling. I went to my follow up appt yesterday and I only had one pocket that was still a 6, the rest had decreased. The hygienist told me to keep doing what I'm doing so I confessed about the oil pulling which she had actually heard of and now plans to try after seeing the difference in my gums. She said anywhere she would poke them before they would bleed and now they are much better. I hope to come back later and say that my fibromyalgia is gone.

Baking Soda

I have braces which means food gets trapped really easily but it is difficult to floss. As a result I have inflammed gums, which often bleed, despite brushing after every meal. ' Now I use a HUGE scoop of baking soda in a sip of water (so its like a runny paste) and swished it around in my mouth for a couple of minutes. My swollen gums went back to normal imediatly after and have stopped bleeding. It leaves a salty taste in my mouth but I avoid rinsing after the baking soda.

Turmeric

I have suddenly developed gingivitis over the past few weeks. Bad breath when I normally don't have any, and then my gums were bleeding like crazy after flossing, also unusual. I looked up remedies on Earth Clinic and decided to try the turmeric. After 3 days, bleeding gums reduced by u, after 5 days no more bleeding or bad breath. The plaque from my teeth didn't smell quite so foul either. This is a stellar remedy!

What I did:

After first brushing and flossing, I took a toothbrush (don't use the expensive kind that you use on an electric toothbrush because it will stain yellow after the first use) and dipped it in turmeric. I brushed my teeth and gums vigorously, adding as much turmeric as possible 2-3 times to the toothbrush. After brushing with turmeric, I rinsed out my mouth well and then swished (as in oil pulled) more turmeric in water for a good 2-3 minutes. I am very curious now to see what would happen if I added turmeric to my oil pulling regime. It does not stain the teeth, but you might need to be careful with crowns or dentures. My teeth do look remarkably whiter for some bizarre reason after brushing with the turmeric. My mouth feels oh so fresh, I may start to forgo the toothpaste and just brush with tumeric. Ra ra ra TURMERIC!!!

Oregano Oil

I have been battling a gum infection for 2 months. After three courses of antibiotics, I gave up and tried Vitamin C 3000mg. This began to improve my gums, however, the infection persisted. My gums have been aching, sore, dark red, and inflammed.

I decided to try Oil of Oregano. I purchased a brand that was 60% diluted in extra virgin olive oil. Immediately, with a clean finger, I rubbed one drop of it over my gums, and another drop on the other side. Immediately the ache subsided. After 8 hours, my gums felt much improved. There is a slight tingly warm feeling upon initially applying which is normal for Oregano Oil. Before bedtime, I repeated this again, along with placing one drop beneath my tongue, holding it in place and washing it down with water.

I woke up with my mouth feeling more nomal than it has in weeks. Another additional benefit, it cleared my sinuses! They have been blocked.

Caution: Do not use Oil of Oregano undiluted. It is caustic and it WILL burn. That is why dilution in extra virgin olive oil is important.

I'm sharing this remedy in hopes it will help someone else stop suffering today!
