Warning:

I have done extensive research on fibroids and their cures from several sources (books, internet, etc). I learned that cow's milk is not at all good for those with uterine fibroids. I know some of you said in order to get molasses down you mix it with warm milk. This may be alright for those of you who do not have fibroids but for the others who do have fibroids, please do not mix it with cow's milk. You may use almond milk or rice milk. What I personally do is mix it with plain warm water and some apple cidar vinegar. Now I do realize that, for some of us, this may still be hard to get down, if so, go for the almond or rice milk concoction. The molasses is good stuff so people please take it religiously! Good luck. Like many others here, I just came back from the doctor's office and my surgery options were explained to me. My fibroid doubled in 2 years and is now 9cm. I am anemic and started having periods like a 14 year old teenager with a lot of clotting....also have lower back pain. I am 43 and the doctor said that considering menopause is still far away, there would be a good chance for the fibroid to keep growing and cause further complications.
He also pointed out by the way, that menopause only shrinks fibroids by about 30-50% !!!

I would like to avoid surgery at all cost of course, and went online to research natural options. So here I am. Just downed my first Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with a bit of juice, and love the taste of Blackstrap Molasses anyways so no problem there taking it straight up.

I have a question however regarding the anemia. I was prescribed an iron supplement and am now wondering if I should still take it considering the BSM is quite high in iron. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS?

My periods started to become irregular 3 years ago they got longer and heavier and passed several clots too. Now, remind you I don't like going to doctors they put you through test after test and find out nothing and you have bills to pay so I have gone out on my own and experimented on my own and this what I'm doing now and it seems it's working----I take daily 3 Vitex, 1-B-12,1-B-6, 2 vitamin E, 2-green tea vitamins, 1-Zinc and a iron pull as needed for energy no bleeding or spotting and period ALOT better no clots no heavy bleeding and cramps are less and I have more energy I can do a lot more now more a normal life then worry about going out somewhere and have a gusher and have a embarrass moment when leaked through your clothing. I also changed my diet no red meat, diary products, alcohol, no pop when I do it's just NO caffeine like orange, sprite and root beer, no sweets (sugars) pasta and breads (just wheat), no saturated fats, I eat mostly chicken, turkey, fresh fruits and vegetables and toss salads and I drink a lot of water. I have never had no surgeries of any kind so I am scared if I ever went to a doctor that helped me that they would tell me I need a hysterectomy, that word terrorizes me. They say when Menopause comes Fibroids stop growing and they die off, I'm turning 50 next March so I'm hoping Premenopause or Menopause is around the corner for me and my fibroid problem will be gone.

Good luck!

I have been using the Apple cider vinegar 2 tablespoons and black strap molasses 2 tablespoons twice per day for more than six months for my fibroids. I have several. People say that you should go and get it check to see if it has shrunk. I have not because I know it has not. I feel it every day and it is still the same size. As a matter of fact, I think it has gotten bigger. It rest on my bladder, making having access to a restroom a must always!

Does anyone have suggestions for me? I can't take this any more. I really do not want to have surgery.

Hi,

Can you please help me. I am 36 year old and I have a 5 year old daughter.

I had fibroid in 2014 and I got it operated (laproscopic)as well. Now on Nov 2015 I came to know from my Gyn that I have fibroid again, I am very tensed as I am putting on weight, majorly on my Tummy. I dont want to get it operated again as I want to conceive this year. I came across this website and thought of trying it.

I started taking ACV(1 Spoon) and BSM( 2 spoon) twice in a day, please help me...Can continue with this even after I conceive or I cannot take BSM and ACV when I am pregnant.

Please advice me what I suppose to do as I want to have child this year as I am already 36 yr old and suffering from fibroid. What I can do reduce my weight and shrink my fibroid without any medical procedure and parllely I can plan for family and conceive.

I would really appreciate your advice.

Homeopathy

Hello, I have had excellent success treating fibroids which I I suffered with for 20 Years.

I took homeopathic Medorrhinum 1M strength. Simply take 3 pellets dry to dissolve in mouth. Two weeks later take another 3 pellets. That's it. I did not take any of the other remedies listed on the page. I did try the thuja but did not like how it made me feel so I stopped there. I have stopped taking iron pills and do not suffer from anemia anymore. I have excellent mental and physical energy now as I did when I was 20.

Medorrhinum 1M is strong. Remember when you take homeopathic medicine you may feel worse initially before you feel better. The aggravations are fine that will occur. Do not take any medicine to counteract any strong symptoms that arise and do not go to the doctor. They are temporary for a few days then go away permanently. You may feel odd for about 3 weeks as your body heals. For example after taking the first dose I was very sleepy for about 4 or 5 days. this is my body beginning to heal. All anger or sadness left my mind. In the subsequent weeks I became extremely clear headed, like a normal person is and energized. The whole process took a month.

When taking homeopathy presently and in future months, it is important not to take ANY mint/menthol products nor use or inhale camphor or eucalyptus products. No coffee and avoid herbal teas. All these products can antidote the remedy. You can order this remedy from a health food store that sells homeopathic remedies or online from a supplier.

Homeopathy is individualized medicine. You should always consult with a trained homepathic practitioner for chronic health issues because the most appropriate remedy is not based on the diagnosis; it's matched to the person -- mental, emotional and physical levels. Medorrhinum worked well in this case because it happened to match the state of that individual. Another person suffering from the same "diagnosis" would require a different remedy. Remedies, especially in high potencies (200c, 1M and higher) should only be repeated when indicated and not before. More is definitely not better.

I did state at the beginning of my post that women can go to the website www.how-to-avoid-hysterectomy.com/homeopathic-treatment-for-uterine-fibroids.html. if they want more information. This is is where I got the information for this treatment. There is even a practitioner there that one can email for more information. I was not personally evaluated by the practitioner. If women go to the website they will better understand. This is a different form of prescribing utilizing homeopathy. A different science is employed. It's called astrological homeopathy. Hundreds of women are suffering terribly from the adverse affects of fibroids, with no hope. I know that this WORKS. Go to the website, email the practitioner if you want. Then you will better understand. Don't be dissuaded. After living with the condition so long I feel it's my duty to tell others of this help available to them.

Dear Scopa,

Ok, now I understand what you are saying about the urgency situation.

I would just try 1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass water in the morning and 1 Tablespoon of Molasses. I don't generally mix them together, but maybe some do. My son takes Blackstrap at night to prevent leg cramps. You could do the vinegar in the morning and the Blackstrap at night.

I suspect that the fibroids decrease in size depending on many different things--including the size of the fibroids, the general health of the mother and the treatment method chosen. I hope you are one of the ones who will have it resolved in 6 months!

Regarding the charcoal poultice, here is a link with a video and written instructions on how to make them. You can make them and apply them over the abdomen at bedtime nightly or even just several nights a week.

Another thought - Frankincense essential oil is excellent for cysts and such. You might try massaged several drops into the abdomen each morning.

You mention in another post that you are dealing with hyperthyroidism as well. It is possible that is affecting the fibroids and as you work to fix that problem, your fibroids will be helped as well. Regarding that, I am sorry about that. I lost a ton of hair after taking a prescription for hypothyroidism. It was pretty discouraging!

Hi Sam,

Thank you for responding. I have been using the Apple cider vinegar straight. It does not bother me at all. I take the one tablespoon of the blackstrap then the apple cider vinegar once a day as Mama suggested, then about 20-30 minutes later I have to take my hyperthyroid meds (wish I didn't have to take those). As for the water I try to make up for it when I get home from work. It is really tough trying to navigate how much to drink during the day at work then having to worry about my long commute on public transportation back home. Someone in their early thirties should not have to worry about this. :-(

Wednesday will be officially a month since I have been using the remedy. I have not noticed any difference as yet. My cycle just started last night and it is just as heavy. We'll see if it the usual heavy and last the entire week.

@Mama

I went to whole foods and another health food store and neither of them carried the powder charcoal. They only have capsules. I will keep looking for a store that sells them. I just figured one of those big places would have it.

Dear Angela,

Apple cider vinegar pills might work as well. Some people find they do for a variety of conditions.

I think the blackstrap won't work as well in pill form. The pills often have an iron supplement too, which works well for some if the issue you are treating is anemia.

But blackstrap molasses has a lot of nutrients concentrated into it and needs to be taken as is. It would take a lot of pills to get the amount of nutrients in 1 Tablespoon of blackstrap. (And because of the added iron, I don't think you could take the equivalent of "blackstrap molasses pills" safely.)

Fibroids are caused by estrogen dominance. Meaning there is too much estrogen in the system. What can cause this imbalance is the food and products you consume daily. There are chemicals, added hormones and antibiotics in dairy, processed foods, meat, beauty products, etc. It's not caused by a fungus.

General Feedback

Estrogen is exacerbated by the presence of fungus. And vice versa. You could think of estrogen as a perfect growth medium for fungus. So, truly, the two go hand and hand. It IS worth addressing fungal issues if fibroids are present.

2 spoons per day of BSM is good. But you may also consider other options like ultimate biofibrin, Best nattoserra, SSKI, Vitamin D3 and Lugol.

I buy organic AND unsulphured, blackstrap molasses...get it at Whole Foods. I've been taking 1 Tbsp twice a day since August and have experienced good results. Still heavy bleeding, but manageable (was crazy heavy before and with huge clots). Practically no clots now and my period only lasts a week or less compared with three weeks. I'm a believer! TIP: Just swallow it as fast as you can. At first, I tried taking tiny "sips" off the spoon, but it's better to just get it over with. Also, in the middle of my cycle, I take a teaspoon twice a day instead of a tablespoon.

I just had to reply to inform other women about the effects of the use of ACV and BSM. I have been using the two for the past 3 weeks and I have to report that I feel as though the ACV is shrinking my fibroids since I am not able to feel them as I had before starting to use the ACV. It was so bad that it felt like the fibroid was pushing out the top of my stomach. Since starting the ACV I can not feel that pushing sensation any longer. In addition my period this month was so nice; I did not have the heavy bleeding like in previous months. My first two days of menstruation would be extremely heavy to the point it felt like a run away train that I could not get a handle on. But after using the BSM I had one of the best periods I've ever had in a long time. As I stated it has only been 3 weeks, but with the results that I've had I will continue to use ACV and BSM to see what the end will be and just because I feel better. For those who doubt I say what will it hurt to try this. We all want a more natural approach to our health so doubt no more and begin your road to naturally treating and possibly curing those awful fibroids. I hope this has been helpful and God Bless you ladies.

I have been taking apple cider vinegar with baking soda and blackstrap molasses for three months now and I have had wonderful results. My abdomen has decreased by three inches and my menses have really been under control; less heavy bleeding. In fact by the third day I have to check to make sure its still on. To Ify (Nigeria) ---

For bleeding have a teasp. powdered turmeric divided to twice a day with some coconut milk or water. Use turmeric also in cooking veggies.

For shrinking fibroids use blackstrap molasses one to two tablesp. divided to twice a day with hot water slightly diluted and have with a straw to protect the teeth. This done for a few months.

For period it is best to leave alone at least for three days or more. Except ACV.

ACV should be good taken daily anytime up to one tablesp. with food or in drinks or water.

Let us know how it goes. Namaste, Om

1. From what I have read, people are using it mainly to shrink the fibroid, but it will also help with bleeding. For excessive bleeding, you can use the herb shepherd's purse.

2. I do not think there is a problem in taking them during your period.

3. It really depends on you. My wife is taking 1 Tbsp ACV (with baking soda in water) and 1 tsp BSM (in tea) 2 or 3 times a day. At first it was 1 Tbsp of the BSM but I reduced it because I was concerned about the high sugar intake.

You can also try mixing BSM with a very small amount of beet juice and aloe vera.

Hi again,

Many thanks for your replies.

So does this mean the ACV and BSM can be taken at any time? Like during periods and ovulation or are there separate times to take them? (Sorry, I just want to be sure :)

Again, how long should I take them? 2/3 months or more? I'd like to try for a baby as soon as the fibroids shrink. I'm 40.

Thanks again.

I've suffered with fibroids for over 18 yrs. I've had 2 laparoscopic surgeries. My 1st surgery was a fibroid the size of a basketball! I'm a small woman. In 2005 I had my 2nd surgery where my Dr removed 3 smaller ones. It's 2013 and I have 6 fibroids of various sizes & a cyst on my ovary. I'm 49 still suffering with heavy bleeding and massive clots, the pain has been so severe I've fainted. My hemoglobin is very low & I'm so fatigued all the time. I have constant pain & pressure in my abdomen. I feel like I always have to use restroom & since my 1st surgery I have troubles emptying my bladder. ? I need relief! I'm anxious 2 try unsulphured bsm, how much to take? When to take & should I be mixing it with warm water? Please advise.

Hi, sorry to hear of your fibroids and all the associated health challenges. Blackstrap molasses will help you straight away- we are all different so the general dose is average you have to see how it works for you and the stage of your condition- if I am bleeding heavily I would take 1 tablespoon of Blackstrap Molasses washed down with a glass of water at least 3 times a day- the odd glass of water with 1 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar helps to stop bleeding too.

I suspect that we have these continual reoccurances because we do not change our nutrition. Once your diet becomes more alkaline this will help too- eat more veg and green salads.

If you read the fibroid section you will see that iodine is a great supplement to take to reduce cysts and fibroids aswell.

I think vitamins A and D from Cod liver oil helps too.

Organic unsulphered Blackstrap Molasses is great because the vitamins and minerals are in a natural state and easily absorbable.

Once your bleeding is under control and you are less anemic you can take a maintenance dose every day- I take 1 teaspoon, you'll have to experiment to see if that works for you. Good luck.

Hi All! I tell you this condition is no joke.... I thank God for these online forums where we can share experiences. Well, .. 47 w/fibroids...and the rest you know. What has worked for me thus far has been loose leaf nettle w/raspberry leaf tea. Just make it w/equal parts. Try to drink it a week b4 "Auntie Flow", but she still comes a week early, tho her flow is not as heavy and she comes w/o the "dinosaur eggs". I do oatmeal often, and blueberries, walnuts, and I drink green tea, but need decaf. Finding it challenging to be consistent w/this regimen though, like I'd like. But noticed a difference fairly quickly-1. 5weeks or less. Of course when I can get organic, I do. But today I have started the BSM! , thanks to this sight and one I stumbled across re: BSM in the comments a mo. ago. Took 2tbs right from the spoon. Found I could handle that ok. "Auntie" said 'hello' today, and I know stress is part of her early shows. That's not new. Must continue to work on that thru-it-all! This condition can be so traumatizing that you just want to keep it from EVER happening again, so this month I'm doin the BSM, and I will start this weekend w/DIM or a combo cap of DIM and organic Maca, and Natto. It's finding what best works for the individual.. Praying for us all!

Iodine
Posted by Deonva (Southbroom, Kzn South Africa) on 02/26/2013

@Kitti - you need to start slowly - 2 drops of 5% Lugols iodine 2 x per day in water - then work up to 4 drops 2 x per day. Even more, depending on your particular iodine deficiency status. It will take around 2 months for your body to have all it needs, at which time lower the dosage to 4 drops per day.

Iodine deficiency is one of the greatest health risks today, and can cause many ailments and dread disease. It will benefit all to supplement with iodine (Lugol's solution) permanently in low dosages, once saturation is achieved.

Hi, Blackstrap molasses( unsulphered) does stop heavy bleeding take at least 3 tablespoonfuls with water and the flo usually stops very soon, there are lots of testimonies here that say long term use of Bsm shrank fibroids. Really these are general guidelines as we all react differently. There are other indications that fibroids are a symtom of iodine deficiency and vitamin a. You should check the vit a levels with a hair test first.

Hello all. I am following up from my last post which was a month ago. This is regarding uterine fibroids. When I first started I was taking 2tsp of regular acv (it was all I had at that time) with 8oz of water, twice a day for the first ten days.

As soon as I was able, I got some Raw-unfiltered Organic ACV 'with the mother' and took 2tbsp w/ 12oz of water twice a day. Then I decided I wanted to add the blackstrap molasses, so I mixed 1tbsp of Blackstrap Molasses-unsulphured to the acv (twice a day). A week ago, I noticed weird changes with my stool. It became very soft then turned to diarrhea.

I never took this mixture on an empty stomach. I would eat, wait an hour then take the mixture. The diarrhea got to the point where I had to go to the hospital for dehydration. Mind you, I drank of plenty of water but it robbed me of my electrolytes and plain water wasn't replenishing it fast enough -as the doctor put it.

Once they put me on an IV and gave me fluids I was fine. The conclusion I came to regarding my bowels was mixing the molasses with the Apple Cider Vinegar because my eating habits found no possible suspects. What I decided to do was take them separate and see what happens.

Now I take the 2tbsp ACV w/ 1 tbsp honey w/8 oz lukewarm water once a day (in the morning). Then in the afternoon, I take 1tbsp of Blackstrap Molasses w/ 8 oz lukewarm water (once a day). The diarrhea stopped. Thank God for discernment. :-)

With that issue solved, I can talk about what changes have taken place with my menstrual cycle. As I mentioned before, I would get them every 20 days and they would last up to 8 days. Well, today marks the 20th day and I have not had my period yet. Last night I was out having dinner with a friend and I went to the restroom and I was spotting.

So I figured ok, its right on schedule. Well, by the time I got home, it stopped. It was strange because I didn't have the usual symptoms of breast tenderness, headache, bloating, fatigue or cramping; which is typical two weeks before my cycle even gets here. I'm just waiting for it to start and see how that turns out.

I don't know what this stuff is doing but its definitely doing something. I give the ACV & Blackstrap Molasses a thumbs up! Will return to share how the blood flow turns out. Peace and health to you all~ River

Hi Ladies, I am 51 and have had severe problems with my cycles for about 5 years. Every year I mentioned to my doctor that my periods where heavy, painful and clotty, I felt pressure on my bladder and in my rectal area. Finally after my last check up on 5/16/2012 she sent me for an ultra sound which I had on 6/14/2012. I have a fibroid tumor the size of an egg in the top of my uterus and 2 small cysts in my pelvic area. She recommended surgery. I felt that was a drastic approach to my problem.

I believe in natural cures and I am so thankful I found this site. I started on _____s ACV with the mother 1 Tbs with 1/4 tsp Aluminum free Baking soda in warm water 2 times a day. I also have been taking Tree of Life Unsulpured Blackstrap Molasses 1Tbs in 6 oz of organic goats milk 2 times a day. I stopped all red meats, wheat, caffeine, sugar. I now am eating a diet full of organic veg and fruits, organic chicken, fish and nuts. Within 2 days I noticed my energy had increased. By day 7 I noticed the tenderness associated with the cysts had lessened dramatically. By day 10 the pressure on my bladder and rectum have abated. I no longer have to wear a pad for fear of leaking. I can still feel the tumor when I lay down, but it feels smaller and not as sore. I have not had my menstrual cycle. It is about 3 days late. I am so anxious to see if it is normal again. I got an unexpected surprise. My hair has starting turning from grey/ white back to the brunette it was 15 years ago. Thanks everyone for sharing your stories and giving me hope. Thanks to Earth Clinic without this site. I may have had a surgery I felt was unnecessary!

A hysterectomy may lead to a prolapse about 5-10 years down the road. The uterus is not just there for holding a fetus; it's very important in helping support the abdominal organs such as the intestines and the bladder. The abdominal organs stay in place due to a network of ligaments and pelvic floor muscles. When the uterus is removed as in a hysterectomy, this support system is greatly weakened and so these other organs have a lot less support, and tend to fall down or move into spaces they normally don't. (please google images) If you have a partial hysterectomy, the top of the vagina could fall down; sometimes the bladder herniates and sometimes the bowel moves into places it should not- all these lead to more surgeries down the road.

Interestingly, when my OB suggested hysterectomy to me for my fibroids, I do not remember her saying one single word about a prolapse down the road. I wonder if she is shilling for the OB surgeon. It's also possible that prolapse happens more often if you have a weak pelvic floor to begin with; but, as a woman ages, her ligaments and muscles get weaker anyhow, and chances of prolapse get higher even if she has a normal pelvic floor. I do not want to contribute to that by having a hysterectomy- not if my fibroid symptoms aren't that bad.

Maria, Thank you so much for putting this important information out. I have had many doctors tell me that I didn't need my uterus because I wasn't having anymore children. I felt who were they to tell me that I didn't need my uterus. As a woman I just feel that this is what makes you a woman and why should we let someone take that away if not necessary. If someone faces an emergency situation then they may not be able to avoid it, but otherwise, keep your uterus.

Hello Maria come off the pills, you do not have to tell your ob, these people just want money they do not care about your health. I was also on the pills and they did not help me. So I stop taking them. And never went back to a doctor. Then I took some cayenne peper and BSM and they stop. And you have to stop eating meat, egggs, cheese let's say you have to go on a diet veg and fruits you can also try the beets and carrots, Blackstrap Molasses and red wine. I wish you wellness.

I'm 43 and found out about 5/6 years ago I had a 1" cm tumor in my uterus and every year I had my physical and complained of heavy bleeding and abdominal pain. And my doctor never ordered anymore test ultra sounds ect. So this last summer I insisted and she had her nurse call to tell me it grew and to see the gynecolgist she reffered and do whatever he says. The gynecologist himself called me and said it grew and there were now multiple tumors and my uterus is enlarged becasue of it. So we're trying to reduce the size with birth control pills but he's almost positive they can't just be removed I may need a hysterectomy.

Now I'm furious because my own doctor could have watched them and I could have caught them in time for just the tumor to be removed now it's too late.

I wanted to know if this is medical neglect or not?

In my own research for this problem or cysts I have used ACV now as a regular part of my life. (btw put it straight on a bu bite and itch/swelling gone w/in minutes). Aloe Vera Juice is also a regular in my regimin. People, just add a few drops of stevia to either for better taste or a juice like Cran/Rasberry something non citrus.

I have read that Myrrh has been used for years with female issues successfully and helps colds etc. Just google 'Myrrh fibroids'. I also read many testamonies about a product online Fibrovan which the main ingredient is Nannokinasse (great for the heart too).

Biggest issue with Fibroids is associated with Stress, Fear, Unforgiveness. I'm a Chiristian so I use the Bible and prayer for the above. My life recently had a series of stresses that I know are the root of my issue. We must deal with the root causes for complete healing. I read about a woman who fought w/ her ex constantly, then left for an extended vacation in another country (6 months I think), she went to the Dr and her Fibroids were gone, she returned to the USA and more fighting with her ex and the fibroids returned.

I learned about Myrrh benefits and others at www.herballegacy.com Yellow Dock is also beneficial according to Dr Christopher's experience. Just do a search there for Fibroid. Cleanse your body and start with your colon first since everything is eliminated through it. I've also read good things on using progesterone (look for pure as some creams have parabens) Eliminate all Paraben creams/cleansers from your life. (see dr john lee's books/website). There is another website that shares about cleansing the reproductive organs and has kits available at http://natural-fertility-info.com/ even if you are not trying to get pregnant they have great products to keep your organs healthy.

Hope this helps and blesses someone! Be Well!!

at first I took acv, molasses and baking soda.

until the baking soda made my skin grey it had aluminum in it. Then I just used Apple Cider Vinegar and molasses. For nearly a month now. Then I decided to make things quicker. By combining tumeric, molasses, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and apple cidar vinegar, flax seed powder, grape seed extract and spirulina. Today's my first trial run at this remedy. I'll keep you posted. I'm feeling better inside my stomach thats a good sign I can feel it working more.

apart from the usual mollases and Apple Cider Vinegar I think this double triple dose could be effective to shrink the fibroids. I dont eat anything with sugar, no meat, a little fish, water with lemon, or acv... No sodas, white breads, maybe whole wheat. No soy. Mainly almond milk, flax, fiber cereal.. Oatmeal.. My food intake is vary vary light. I'm training my body to survive off of little food intake to help this process more.

if I go out to dinner I'm ordfering fish and salad.

by the way if anypne has any other cures for fibroids or have tried ones close to this could you post your remedies. for fibroids and hair growth..

for hair growth I put a mixture of galric, acv, coconut oil, in my hair and I color it naturally with henna. Red henna mixed with lemon acv, coco nut oil, olive oil, tumeric I combine and leave in for about 2-4 hours. I'll keep you posted on that also. Oh by the way does anyone know how to properly make purple henna. I hear indigo mixed with black henna, and blackberries, cranberries, and lemon might be a good hair coloring for it. But if your familiar with it could you send meinfo on it thanks.. stay blessed...

Hello I am 30 yrs old and just been diagnosed with 1 small fibroid. I have no pain at all just bloating and very heavy bleeding with huge blood clots. I have been bleeding for over a month straight. I would like to know if the ACV and the molasses can be taken straight or does it have to be mixed with water etc?

Hi, If you've been bleeding so heavily for a month then I would advise getting your iron levels checked as this can lead to more bleeding too. If you take 1 tablespoon of unsulphured organic Bsm followed by water 3-4 times a day the flow will lighten. ACV should be taken in water and preferably with bicarb. (drinking through a straw helps) 3 times a day as advised elsewhere on site.

Thank you for your reply. I just got a hold of the molasses, I have the ACV and am wondering if anyone can give me instructions on how to take this stuff and how often? I can handle the ACV straight.

Hi, when I take ACV I put about 3 table spoons in a small half glass of water and add about 1/3 of teaspoon of bicarb soda- I drink this thru a straw- adding fresh lemon juice improves the taste. There are better instructions in teds remedies section I'm sure.

Crosby's blackstrap molasses contains sulphur - you need unsulphered blackstrap molasses.

Hi, I found this site after being diagnosed with a huge fibroid last month after 6 months of terrible periods. My fibroid was about the size of a softball, I'm 32 and relatively healthy (although apparently very anemic from the fibroid). Mostly vegetarian and try to not to eat a lot of processed foods but I do drink a ton of coffee. I'm terrified of having surgery so I immediately began taking 2 tablespoons of ACV morning and night (I definitely forget to take it some mornings/nights) I tried taking a teaspoon of molasses (blackstrap unsulphered) but I find it upsets my stomach, I'm assuming because I don't generally eat a lot of sugar) but I do take it a few times a week.

I also have been doing castor oil packs a couple times a week and have been taking cayenne pepper almost every day (in capsule form). I tried taking Vitex but I felt like it made me depressed and made me very tired and I broke out almost immediately, I only took it for 4 days though so I did not give my body time to adjust to it so I may try it again.

So I just had my period for the first time since beginning this and there was such an improvement! I didn't even know it was coming and even began to get nervous that I wasn't going to get it but I did and at first it started out very heavy like normal (but with no cramping) but that only lasted for a few hours and then it slowed and by the next night it was completely gone and it normally lasts 5-7 days. I had literally no cramping the entire time, I consider it a miracle. Also immediately after beginning the ACV I had so much more energy. I have no way to know if my fibroid has actually shrunk or not but I do feel so much better!

I use to bleed very heavy and some times I think I went three months straight, and sometimes my periods will come thee times in one month and it will last for eight to nine days. And I will bleed a lot thru two pads and I will have to take a bed sheet and tear it and make myself a padding that will try to hold all of that blood. I did not go to no doc because I know that they cannot help me, they will give me pills that will not solve my problam and then they will tell me get a operation and take out my womb. And then they may kill me trying to take out my womb. I do not trust doctors. Because I know women that have this bleeding problem, and some of them end up dying on the operation table. I am telling you that to tell you this, I believe in God and I believe in his words and he say in his words that the herbs are the healing of the nation and I do not believe that GOD give us women a womb to be taken out. The chemicals that mankind put into the animals feed does destroy our health imaging God make male and female to produce a yong one and they having female chicken laying eggs without a cock (male) by just putting chemicals in the feed, and they just produce eggs the chicken, eggs, let's say meat is damaging our body...

Let me tell you what I took to stop my bleeding, cayenn pepper and, black strap molasses, or molasses and apple cider vinegar. I know because I am a living proof of what I write and tell you. I am healed. I do know that this will help.

Black strap molasses is a miracle drug for me and my menstral cycle. I buy organic unsulphured (wholesome brand). I take one tablespoon in the morning daily. When I am having a period I take 1 tablespoon every 12 hours... My cycle was last 12-16 days... after the Blackstrap Molasses I am down to 3 days.

Well, I found this site last month searching for a solution to my incredibly heavy flow for the last couple of years. I am 45 years old, and the condition was getting noticably worse, heavier and longer.... At time up to 10 days. The last few months, I have to get up in the middle of the night to clean myself, and have blood running down my legs despite my best efforts. Ob/Gyn suggests hysterectomy (too radical), my solution was to check out of life for two or three days every month (so inconvenient). And then my cycle became irregular. 40 days, 19 days, 22 days..... After a lifetime of 29 to 30 day cycle.

I found this site last month, after bleeding through my clothes at lunch. Apple cider vinegar? You are kidding me.... The solution to my problem was right under my nose this whole time? What the heck.... Let's give it a shot. I took 2 tblspoon with water as soon as I was done reading. I promptly fell asleep for 2 hours in the afternoon. When I woke up, my very heavy cycle had stopped. I didn't mean slow down, I mean stopped! I was surprised. And continued taking it. This cycle.... 30 days, no bleeding through, no tender breasts, and completely done after 3 days. I am so grateful.

My 18 year old son with aspergers syndrome said it makes him calmer. Well, let's not argue with success. Funny thing is I have heard of vinegar as an effective aid to weight loss. Never needing to lose weight, I never looked into it any further than that. I cook with and clean with it, so I always have some in my pantry. And as I said.... The solution was right under my nose the whole time! Thank you for putting this site together. I will try adding the black strap molasses.... THAT I don't have in my pantry!

I forgot to say I have been drinking all my water with a little lemon in it. This might be helping the shrinking the fibroids but I don't know. Maybe a combination? Just wanted to add that in case it is important.

Dear Margarate, After reading your successful story, I am feeling well little bit. Most of the reviews I saw here are for stopping heavy bleeding. I have multiple fibroids & the worst part is my uterus size has enlarged to 17 cm lentgh wise. I am so worried because we are yet to plan for kids. I have painful periods for a day & I don't have any other problems during the cycle. I want to know how you applied tincture of iodine as a patch. Please let me know any other things that you tried and think will work. I am really desperate to get rid of this and have a baby. Thanks.

Daisy, I don't think iodine tincture would be enough iodine for something like fibroids. When you paint it on your skin much of it evaporates anyway. You might want to look into iodine that you can take internally, like lugol's solution or the pill form called Iodoral. These can be purchased online, but with the situation in Japan many sites are sold out. Have you looked into balancing your estrogen, since too much is a cause of fibroids? You could try something called DIM and also progesterone cream. I also have fibroids and just recently purchased Iodoral. I am first doing the liver/kidney cleanse that Bill recommends before I start the iodine to help with any detox symptoms. There is an iodine forum on yahoo groups that has a lot of good information about supplementing with iodine and the other supplements that need to be taken along with iodine. Best of luck to you with your health.
