Greetings everyone, Read all the wonderful testimonies and support the fact that ACV and BS ease the pain. However, I have not (unless I missed that) read any testimonies of the Fibroids DISAppearing completely... I am 49, and now my doctor want to perform a hysterectomy... I dont eat meat, eat lots of veggies, and recently started drinking alkaline water (VERY expensive), etc... Thanks and Blessing to all.

To Janice from Apex: Never drink from aluminum containers or use aluminum cooking pots. There is evidence aluminum is linked to Alzheimer's disease.

Some plastics have also proven to release toxins into the liquids they contain. Glass is your best option.

I have fibriods size of peas and were causing spotting after period, which caused much anxiety. Started ACV and Baking Soda 1 8oz cup with 1 tbsp in the morning, apple cider 2 tbsp in water at lunch only, then at nights same as morning and the spotting stopped. Not sure if they disintegrate but had noticed some debris when I pee in the toilet. Let's see my appointment is February 28. Hoping to hear that the debris is really the fibroid gone. Remember that this may work instantly for some persons, while it may take longer.

Ladies we need to change our eating habits eat more veggies, drink plenty water and exercise. I'm trying, you can too. All the best to us.

Is 8 oz. the correct amount of ACV with 1 TBSP of BS? How much water do you mix the 2 TBSP of ACV at lunch?

Kt,

Not sure what the amounts the lady who reported a cure used, but I doubt it was 1 Tablespoon of baking soda. I think that would be a dangerous amount.

The apple cider vinegar baking soda tonic, I think is about 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar and 1/8 teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water.

MtM,

I agree, 1 T of BS would be dangerous. In addition, I think if she put that amount in 8 oz. of ACV it would bubble all over her counter.

I wondered if she meant to say 8 oz. of ACV. I think that's a lot to drink.

2 T of ACV in water I have taken so I think that is okay. It helped with elimination and the stool appeared to be cover with "fur". I guess it was candida?

Hi, I have a question for Ted. I have just the last couple of weeks begun taking 1/2 tsp baking soda w/ 2 Tablespoons of ACV in 8 oz of water three times per day to try and reduce or rid myself of fibroids. While at home, I use a glass container to drink from. But at my office, I use an aluminum water bottle, as I was concerned with using plastic because of BPA. However, now I'm concerned with whether either the baking soda or the ACV will cause me to consume aluminum from my water bottle at work. Can you please address the issue of whether either plastic or aluminum are safe with this remedy, or whether it is always best to use glass containers. I've read many posts on your site, but I've never seen the issue of the type of container addressed with the use of ACV. Thanks very much for the help. I do find this site to be wonderful and am glad that I found you!

Hello,
I've not tried ACV yet, but am going to do so b/c of all the stories about how it's caused fibroids to shrink. I did read, though, about the danger of ACV ruining tooth enamel if sipped throughout the day. A website I went to advised to use a straw to bypass the teeth, always take ACV with plenty of water, three times/day, drink each of the three times within a short period of time, and rinse mouth out with water after drinking.

It is true that it affects the enamel of teeth and ACV should be sipped with a straw instead.

I just found this site today. I am so grateful. I have read thru most everyones comments on this topic and wanted to thank everyone for sharing their experience.

My situation is a little different. I have many symptoms and not certain if they are all connected or from several medical problems.

Started some years ago with Thyroid/hashimoto's disease - first illness - taking thyroid hormones since they iradiated it. Next, hair loss - got scalp injections from dematology for this 5% cortizone shots. Long treatments but it worked. Since then I have developed these fibroids and excema. Are all these things connected? Also vision has gotten bad, now wear glasses. Also, Acid Reflux. Never took the script they gave me, but I did switch my diet some what.. after reading here I need to do more!

On the topic of fibroids, I too was diagnosed a couple of years ago and told to be sent into early menopause. I said no. I dont have heavy bleeding like alot of people here are saying, but I have excruciating pain! Feels like razors or boulders going thru my falopian tubes on the left side. Every month. Plus, I get low grade fevers and feel like I have the flu every month. Typical flu symptoms- headache, fever, naseau, vomiting. Litterally bed bound monthly for two weeks with these flu symptoms. I know there is no way I can have the flu every month and went back to the doctors. They paid no attention to my complaints about the flu as of yet. I have had a stomach CT scan and the results where clear, more fibroids - they are in my tubes, in my uterus and on my ovaries. They scheduled an Upper GI and a pelvic ultrasound. I am at my wits end with the pain!! Today thanks to this site I started the 2 tbspn of Apple cider vinegar mixed with 1/4 Tspn baking soda..and will take it twice or three times a day.

I have gained 40 lbs in the past year, yes, all tummy. Thinking that maybe its all from fribroids? Or alot of it anyway. Two years ago I didnt have uterine fibroids. Im hoping it helps and will let you know as things progress. Thanks to everyone for your openness and willing to share your experiences.

Hello Diana from Boston,

Type "potassium iodide" in search window and click on go or search. When references appear pull up one from Tahoma Clinic. I suggest you print this one out for future reference because SSKI is useful for much more than fibroids. This article is written by alternative doctor Jonathan Wright and is very useful and everything I have used SSKI for has been as he said in this article. One other thing he didn't mention is that 2 drops per day helps keep our stomach producing HCl acid for digesting our food.

To Joyce from Joelton

I found the article you spoke of: Tohoma Clinic Dr Wright- here is the link for the future, I had to google for it because all that came up from this site when I searched were your posts telling people to look it up.. here is the link for others for future reference- you should just post the link instead: http://www.tahomaclinic.com/iodide.shtml

So I have some questions about the use of SSKI or Potasium Iodide : First, I am hypothyroid and spoke with my doctor just today and she said to avoid Iodine. So I am reluctant to take this product.

Second, I also had my Pelvic Ultrasound today and they found 2 Fibroids in the uterus just slightly larger than golf balls. One on each side.

With this help with my fribroids? Did not see that mentioned on the site. Also, I am type A blood, noticed that people with Type A blood are not suppose to take Apple cider Vinegar. Although at this point its either surgery or the ACV or some other remedy.

I did notice and found it interesting that the SSKI is also used to treat people that have been affective by Nuclear Fallout. I was in the service and I was the Nuclear Biological and Chemical Weapons Officer and was exposed to radiation and Perchlorate sulfates alot (dry cleaning fluids) we used them to clean parts of things.. weapons, helicopter parts etc.) I remember having my arm - pit deep in barrels of the stuff on many occassions. As well as a nuclear densomitor which I had to use quite often. Holding it by the spoke that you put in the soil. Was not aware at the time it emmited large amounts of radiation.

Do you think these things could have caused all my ILLS? Hypothyroidism, Copd, asthma, fibroids, diverticulosis and diverticulitis? Seems like all these things are listed on the tahoma site. If I could find a common cause then maybe I could find a common cure? Could use your input.

Thank you for posting to me - I appreciate your feedback and assistance from everyone.

Hello Diana from Boston,

First a question or two. Is your thyroid just sluggish and still functioning or totally wiped out? If it is still functioning then it needs some iodine to function properly, so why did your doctor tell you to avoid it? Hopefully you also picked up on the use of SSKI to liquify secretions in the respiratory tract so you can get them out, which means that it should help with asthma and COPD. Another thing to consider if it is just sluggish is that a deficiency of B complex vitamins causes a sluggish thyroid, so I suggest that you get a good stress tab (B complex with vitamins C & E) and take 1 at mealtime and bedtime although the container will tell you to take 1 a day.

Another question, while you were up to armpit in the goop in the service, were you taking SSKI or anything to protect your thyroid from radiation? If not, it is unlikely that the radiation isn't part of the cause of your problems.

I have also read that those with asthma are low on selenium. Wild cherry bark tea is supposed to be good for asthma. You might also want to read Bill's inhalation method of H202 for the asthma and COPD. I am all for trying what is likely to help, and not likely to harm with unwanted side effects. I also recall reading in EC about someone curing their COPD with a home remedy which included mullein, so you might want to look this up. Mullein is a very easy to identify wild plant, but since it mentioned using the seed pods, you won't likely find seed pods until this coming fall. Some herbal shops might sell them though.

Could you share your source for the recommendation that people with type A blood should not take ACV? I think I am type A and I have been taking ACV/honey for a long time (at least 40-50 years) and I am still alive and kicking.

I believe that if you reread Dr. Wright's article on SSKI, you will find that he mentions cystic breast disease. But you would have to follow what your thyroid is doing because you would be taking it for several months and it can suppress the thyroid. I figure that if it gets rid of fibroids in the breast, it should also get rid of fibroids in the uterus or elsewhere.

My breasts were nothing much but lumps for years. I can't say for sure that vitamin E is what got rid of them, but vitamin E is what I had added to my daily vitamins, and several months later I was surprised to find that all my lumps were gone and replaced with normal breast tissue, so if you aren't taking vitamin E, start taking at least 400 IU/day and see what happens.

To find out how much perchlorate sulfates might have done to you, just type it into a search window and if you find that it has been a big part of your problem, print it out and take it with you to visit the VA Hospital doctors and put in a claim for the damage done to your health by the exposure. Hope you find some of this useful and hope your health improves.

I am responding to the asthma comment. I am 47 and had asthma since I was 14. I stopped eating ALL gluten and my asthma symptoms drastically reduced in about 3 or 4 days. About 2 weeks on the gluten free diet no more inhalers or antihistamines. 8 months later, still gluten free, I no longer consider myself an asthmatic.

Acv and Baking soda for fibroids

I read about people on your site using ACV and Baking soda for excessive bleeding associated with fibroids. I had excessive bleeding for three months and found out I had 2 large fibroids in my uterus. I tried your formula and the bleeding persisted. The second week I had forgotten to use the acv/baking soda and by the end of the day my bleeding had slowed us, alot! The next day I used the formula again and once again started bleeding, the next day and there on I stopped using the formula and the bleeding slowed up considerably. So I immediately stopped using the acv/baking soda. It may help alot of people but not in my case. But I felt it was worth a try.

Hello, to tell you a little history of my health issue. Over 3 years ago I experienced my menstrual cycle lasting longer and longer and I checked with a couple Ob-Gyn's who really did not listen to me. While moving to another state, the first visit to a general practitioner she asked me have you had an ultra-sound done. I went to get an ultra sound done and they found a cyst on my ovary and I had fibroids. Great.... well at least I know what it was that was causing this additional bleeding. I went to see an Ob'Gyn and she told me to go on the pill to reduce the cyst that started to work but the bleeding from the fibroids got worst to the point I bled for 3 months straight without stopping and the doctor did not seem concerned or knew what was going on. I was desparate and tried looking for home remedies and found this website. Never heard of apple cider vinegar until I found this site and I tried Ted's remedy. That is ACV with baking soda and the bleeding ceased in less that one day. I take six to eight ounces of water with two tablespoon of ACV organic and quarter teaspoon of baking soda twice a day and it works for me. Thank you all for posting your experiences on this website. It is greatly helped me. I have my second opinion coming up and will give an update if the cyst and fibroids have shrunk. I will also try the blackstrap molasses for my anemia. God Bless You!

Hi, I am new to this site and Very interested in reducing my Fibroids. 2 years ago I had a myomectomy and they were able to remove the fibroid. It has since come back and my periods are unbearable. I also have severe break-thru bleeding. My Dr. has put me on a higher dose of Birth control to control the bleeding. It has slowed down, but I don't like the side effects of the BC. I have been reading many posts of the ACV and Baking Soda.

I would like to know how long do you use this remedy. Is it everyday? And should I still take the birth control with this remedy? I am so so so desperate for help! My next step is a hysterectomy and I am not ready for that. I am only 31 years old. Please Help me!!

Thanks in advance!

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

I am writing in because for the last 6 months I had been suffering from an issue with Fibroids. I had non stop bleeding sometimes extremely heavy periods to the point were my blood count level was around 7.2 . at one point I was given a blood transfusion because of the amount of blood loss. I went to see my Dr. who did a biopsy and ultrasound and had determined that I was suffering from Fibroids and this was the reason for the continuous bleeding.

My Dr. gave me two options, to have an IUD inserted with no guarantees that this would work and may fall out or a Hysterectomy. I was also taking birth control pills to try to stop the bleeding as well with no results. I read the recommendations for ACV and Baking Soda for Fibroids and I decided to try it. The first couple of days I was not feeling too well, I felt really weak and had no energy, however , I took it for about 1 week and the bleeding has stopped. I now have another appointment to see my Dr , for another exam to see if the Fibroid is still there. I want to thank Ted for the recommendation and say I feel great! thanks again

In April I was diagnosed with acid reflux. In May I went to my GYN because I missed my menses for no reason for the first time in 25 yrs. my menses started when i was 15 yrs old. i am now 40 yrs old married with 2 kids.3 and 7yrs old.I went to my gyn and he said i had a 7 cm fibroid on the left of my uterus and 5cm ovarian cyst on my right ovary. I also had a tilted uterus which i already knew about diagnosed 8 yrs ago by him because sex became uncomforbable to me sometimes.I was reflux problems and given protonix by a specialist. came across this website looking for a natural rememdy to cure my acid reflux. tried Ted's acv cure with baking soda and it for 2 week 3times a day with the 2 days off. sex was comfortable, my menses showed up, my acid reflux disappeared.especially the feel of a lump in my throat. my hay fever problems cleared up ( no post nasal drip in weeks, no constant hoarseness. I went to my gyn appt friday and was told my ovarian cyst was gone, uterus was no longer titled and my fibroid had shrunk to down to 1 or 2 cm..my gyn kept looking at my chart RE-reading his notes from my last appt a month ago.. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I FEEL SOOO MUCH BETTER OVERALL..ALSO I LOST 6LBS (with no effort at all) now that was a nice surprise..Thank GOD for this website and ACV..

Always have to take off from office for 3 days and take 6 fenac plus after 6-7 hours on diagonsis, got to know that I have a fibroid in uterus and multiple choclate cyst in ovaries.

Now I will also try 2 tbps Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/4 tbs Baking soda so that my menses pain also goes away and fibroids get disappears.

My query is do we have to take 7 days a week for full whole month??

Do we have to take during menstruation cycle or not??

For 2 tbps apple cider vinegar n 1/4 tbs baking soda in 1 glass of water or half glass of water???

Fibroids and Cysts

Due to a 6 cm intramural fibroid (diagnosed 18 months ago at 3,8 cm), I had been suffering terribly from heavy bleeding, debilitating cramps and breakthrough bleeding for over 15 months. On the 2nd day of my cycle, I would have to use 3 super plus tampons plus pads every hour for a 10 - 20 hour period of time. This was accompanied by such terrible pain that I couldn't walk without bending over. I would take 400 mg ibuprofen every 4 hours over a 24 hour time span, but still suffer tremendous pain. My periods would last between 7 and 10 days, though the bleeding was typically light after the 5th or 6th day. More often than not, I would then have bleeding or spotting between periods. As my cycles are relatively short (23 - 26 days), the breakthrough bleeding was obviously quite distressing to deal with.

Two and half months ago, I started drinking ACV twice a day with baking soda and water (1 tbsp ACV, 1/4 tsp BS, 300 ml water). Since then, I have not had any breakthrough bleeding. My periods, except for this last one, were so light that I didn't even use tampons. I rarely soak a pad within 3 - 4 hours and can sleep for 8 hours at a time each night! My periods now last approximately 5 days, with very little bleeding after that time. I still control the pain with ibuprofen, but it is no longer debilitating. I have been able to increase the dosage interval to every 6 hours within one 24 hour period, thereby reducing my ibuprofen intake to 1600 vs 2400 mg per cycle. I was also diagnosed with an ovarian cyst (3.5 cm) that might likely be a chocolate cyst. I had occasional sharp pains coming from my ovaries before starting the ACV, but haven't had any such pains in the last 7 weeks. This, however, could be due to the daily dosage of chasteberry (Vitex agnus-castus -hard capsule 4 mg dried extract) which I have been taking for the last 5 weeks. I don't yet know whether the fibroid and/or the cyst have reduced in size, but I am feeling tremendously better -much healthier, less tired and run down. Also, I used to feel very depressed prior to my periods, but rarely feel this sadness anymore. I rode a rollercoaster of emotions, but this has stablised considerably. I feel happy and balanced most of the time, even the day or two before my period begins. I'll report back after my next ultrasound.

Six months after my last diagnosis, I am relieved to report that an MRI shows that the fibroid and cyst have not increased in size. In fact, both appeared somewhat (2 - 3 mm) smaller since the last MRI in April 2010. I have had some setbacks with occasional break-through bleeding and heavy bleeding during one period, but I've noticed that omission of ACV and BSM, coupled with stress and bad diet (dairy, meat), contribute greatly to these relapses. Shepherd's purse works miraculously to stop intermittent bleeding in its tracks and decrease the flow of heavy bleeding.

The last 6 months have been an eye-opener for me. I've realised that a good diet is essential to keeping the symptoms at bay. I try to consume raw vegetables as often as possible, either in the form of smoothies and/or cut up in small portions (mainly from the cruciferous family) as snacks. My cycles have averaged 24 days -sometimes as long as 26 days, once as short as 22 days, and the duration is usually only 5 days. Heavy bleeding and cramps are typically limited to 24 hours. It would be nice to increase cycle length to 26 days or more. Any suggestions are appreciated. I have been able to combat my anaemia (confirmed with complete blood tests) with BSM, almost entirely. After 2 years of daily iron supplementation, I now use supplements (1/day) only during the 5 days of my period.

Should this be happening and how long must I take Apple Cider Vinegar and Blackstrap Molasses before I see results? I do not have insurance and that makes it really hard to get a Dr to help you. Well on top of no insurance I'm also very obese so every time I do complain to a Dr all I get told is "lose weight and it will get better. " Well, I've tried losing weight and I am working on that but it's very slow. Anyways, for the last yr and a half I have been bleeding. This bleeding is very random, sometimes it is a 24hr thing and other times I may bleed only an hour a day. If I don't take 2 or 3 advil every night I usually get woke up with killer cramps that usually require me to hurry up and take some advil and get in a hot bath, then I just wait for the horrible bleeding to start, and don't get me started on the clots. But, my point is, this is an everyday thing for the last 2yrs.

I found this site and decided I would try the apple cider vinegar and baking soda. Oh my, I started this 2 weeks ago, and after 3 days I stopped bleeding. I haven't gotten to the point that I would have a regular period yet but I feel like it might be normal. Just to have these last 2 weeks and not cramp or bleed has been a blessing.

For Lady who have FIBROID / NON-STOP BLEEDING, I'm not sure if this can cured but it works for me. Earlier, I had non-stop period. So, I went for check-up and the doctor said that I've fibroid. But unfortunately, he said there is no medicine to cure or to stop my bleeding. So, I have searched through a lot of articles and found one that stated anti-inflammatory tea can work for fibroid. So coincidence, I have a tea in which my mother gave it to me. I looked through the box and saw the word 'anti-inflammatory'. So, I took the tea and the period/bleeding had stopped. After that, my period turned normal. The tea name is 'CAT'S WHISKERS TEA'. Maybe you can try and see if this can cure your fibroid or avoid from getting more.

25 months after my first MRI, my third scan has shown very little growth (1/2 cm) in my submucous fibroid. I have changed my diet considerably and take many vitamin, mineral and homeopathic/plant based supplements to strengthen my body and diminish the debilitating symptoms.

In addition to drinking ACV (2 tbsp w/baking soda water), unsulphured blackstrap molasses (heaping tbsp mixed with hot water), taking vitex agnus castus (chasteberry) capsules (4mg/day), iron, zinc (12 hours after iron intake), folic acid, magnesium, vitamin B complex, vitamin C (with the iron), omega 3 fish oil capsules and shepherd's purse tincture (to stop spotting and reduce bleeding during periods), I have eliminated all meat and restricted consumption of coffee, chocolate, dairy and alcohol to exceptional occasions.

My cycles are still 23 - 26 days, but if I stray from the diet, my symptoms return/worsen, sometimes within hours: e. G. , coffee and chocolate can cause breakthrough bleeding and worsen cramping during periods; skipping several days of ACV causes irregular cycles; stopping blackstrap molasses contributes to my anaemia; not eating enough fruits and raw vegetables cause periods to be more painful and bleeding to be profuse (carrots, beets, sweet potatoes are especially helpful at reducing bleeding); omitting zinc supplements 4 - 6 days before the start of menstruation causes painful cramps.

It is not always a joy to omit so many foods and learn to eat healthier, but since changing my diet to include more fish, tofu, lentils, chickpeas, kidney beans, cruciferous vegetables, fruits, nuts, sprouts, rice milk and wheatgrass, my fibroid has stabilised and my symptoms are nothing like they were when I was first diagnosed almost 4 years ago. At that time, the fibroid was almost 3 cm smaller, yet the pain and bleeding were debilitating.

Exercise is also very important. I try to run 3 - 4 times a week (5 - 8 km) and ski, swim, cycle weather permitting.

It is possible to live with fibroids, but it requires discipline and determination. I find it difficult to always stick to my diet, including my cocktail of vitamins, minerals and homeopathic supplements, but the rewards are worth it.

After almost 4 years, I'm signing in again to report that my fibroid is gone! Actually, it was a long and painful road, but something caused it to go from being a submucosal fibroid (it had also been diagnosed as being intramural) to "a fibroid in statu nascendi".

A few months ago, after having 6 osteopath treatments over a period of approximately 3 months, I experienced horrible pains 2 days after my period started. It was just like giving birth and lasted hours. I had no idea what was happening and after the (extreme) pain subsided, I fell asleep exhausted only to awake with a huge mass descending into my vaginal canal. I thought that I had experienced a bladder, bowel or uterus prolapse and spent the next couple of weeks visiting doctors searching for answers. My GP referred me to a gynecologist who informed me that my uterus had prolapsed and that I would need a complete hysterectomy, including removal of my cervix! The second gynecologist tried to make me believe that the the prolapsed mass was a huge cancerous tumour. It was clear, however, from the ultrasound that none of my organs had prolapsed and that the huge mass, at least in my opinion, must have been the fibroid. Neither of these doctors would confirm that it was the fibroid and so I went searching for yet another opinion. I was finally able to get a 3rd diagnosis at a renowned teaching hospital, where it was confirmed that I had a "fibroid in statu nascendi" and was quickly scheduled for an outpatient hysteroscopic surgery. The fibroid had somehow broken out of the wall of my uterus and the pain that I had experienced during my last period was actually my body giving birth to it. The surgery was performed without any complications and the recovery was a breeze. I didn't even need any pain killers after waking up from the surgery or in the days that followed.

What caused this enucleation, I am not sure. Diet (non-meat, low dairy, lots of fruit & vegetables) and exercise (running) certainly made a difference with regard to reducing symptoms and slowing growth. The other important thing that I believe aided my recovery was the osteopath. Osteopathic manipulations were performed to ensure that my body was properly aligned, with a special focus on my uterus, liver, bladder, bowels, etc. My uterus was found to be located too much to the right and with very gentle manipulations, it was recentered. Soon after that, my fibroid pushed out of the walls and prolapsed, hanging by a stem from the uterine wall.

Months later, I am feeling better than ever. It is like having a new life. No painful periods, no excessive bleading, no anaemia. In fact, I haven't taken any ibuprofen or iron since before the surgery. I sometimes slip from eating a healthy diet and must constantly remind myself to stick to it and exercise regularly. It is key. I started seeing the osteopath again to ensure that everything stays aligned. My last gynecological examination showed a healthy uterus and ovaries.

Phillippa, your story is incredible! Congratulations, and thank you for continuing to update everyone on your progress. I am not sure if I am dealing with fibroids or not (family history is against me on this one), but it has been helpful for me to read about how people manage their symptoms as I wait to get scheduled for a gyno appointment.

Thanks for the encouraging comments on this platform. Please anyone know a cure for calcified fibroids? I have used Blackstrap Molasses and Apple Cider Vinegar but the fibroids size ( intramural between 5cm and 2cm) hasn't changed. I have recorded weight loss and my tummy has gone down a bit.

Please kindly let me know how you obtained your ACV here in Nigeria. I have checked all the major places here in Calabar and has not been able to find ORGANIC ACV. I have a relative who has just been diagnosed of an 11cm intramural fibroid. And as we've all seen, there's no drug for it.

I really know that she's going to be healed but please kindly reply to my email. If there's any member or reader of this forum that knows where I can get an organic ACV in Nigeria, kindly let me know.

You can get it from health plus. Google the name and place your order but ensure that it is Braggs apple cider vinegar you request for.

Hi Blossom. Look into Borax (Boron). It removes calcifications from the body.

I have been using the Apple cider vinegar 2 tablespoons and black strap molasses 2 tablespoons twice per day for more than six months for my fibroids. I have several. People say that you should go and get it check to see if it has shrunk. I have not because I know it has not. I feel it every day and it is still the same size. As a matter of fact, I think it has gotten bigger. It rest on my bladder, making having access to a restroom a must always!

Does anyone have suggestions for me? I can't take this any more. I really do not want to have surgery.

Dear Scopa,

Well, that is discouraging - you have persevered and have not seen results.

I would try castor oil packs. They help so many different types of tumors and cysts. Do not use them during your period though as they can increase the flow.

Also, because animal products contain hormones, (even organic animal products) reducing animal products in your diet may help.

The herb vitex (also known as chaste tree berry) may help as well.

I hope you find relief soon!

Hi Scopa...The Iodine Protocol is probably best for fibroid or cyst problems. There are many independent research articles on the successful reduction and eradication of both uterine fibroids and breast cysts using lugol's iodine or Iodoral. There are even several people on this website who have also cured their own fibroids problems using the Iodine Protocol.

The Iodine Protocol (Long version)

Iodine Protocol (short version)

Research: Iodine, Ovaries and Fibroids

My last piece of advice is to take the Iodine Protocol exactly as advised -- which includes taking all the companion nutrients. If you don't do this then it probably will not work very well.

I'm surprised serrapeptase is not mentioned in conjunction with other recommendations.

  • Fibroids are also susceptible to being dissolved by high-dose enzyme therapy. The enzyme SERRAPEPTASE is particularly effective for this purpose. Keep the bottle of enzymes by your bedside and take 250,000 SPU with a little water first thing in the morning and last thing at night, at least 2 hours after eating. The point is for the enzymes to digest the fibroids, not your food.
  • The late Guy Abraham M.D., found that iodine (2% or 5% Lugol's Iodine) was really good to use in estrogen dominant diseases, including fibroids. Or you can supplement with kelp daily.
  • Both vitamins A and D (5,000 IU daily) have been shown to reduce fibroid tumor growth.
  • Resveratrol, a pigment found in red grape skins, causes a potent “anti-fibrotic” effect by reducing type I and III collagen levels so that should be recommended.
  • Chasteberry (vitex), as mentioned, and pokeroot will help regulate the estrogen.
  • Castor oil packs, as mentioned, are excellent for the lymphatic system and assist in improving circulation, stagnation and elimination of benign tumors in women, especially those who suffer from uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts. But this is a time consuming protocol if done properly (good video on YouTube titled, 'Castor Oil Packs For Fibroid Tumors' that helps explain in detail).

Note, if you are a daily coffee drinker (drink green tea instead) or eat red meat frequently, both have been shown to worsen symptoms.

Hello,

The most important thing about reducing fibroids and cysts using ACV is not just using ACV. You need to change your diet. If you continue to eat lots of meat and calcium products... no amount of ACV will help. Your diet is also the important factor.

Fibroids and period pain:

ALL THE PRAISE TO GOD! I have been taking 1 to 2 tablespoons of Black Strap Molasses and Apple Cider Vinegar for just about 2 months and I am having the very best period I have had in decades! I am still taking Motrin but only for a dull ache, not the stabbing knife twisting pain that I used to experience on my left ovary. I am so gratefully to God for Earth Clinic and for all of you who post cures here to help each other!

Hi, I suffer from fibroids and since I discovered this site about two months ago, I started religiously taking a tsp of Acv twice a day to help shrink the fibroid, and reduce the bleeding. Prior to starting, period will last for about two weeks with on an off clotting after the first week, when you think it's almost over.

The first month after the ACV regime, periods lasted about 10 days and the cloting/gushing was reduced. So I continued to taking every day.

The second month, period was more painful that I ever experienced on the second day, I though I had appendicitis. First round lasted for 7 days and I thought this thing is working but then, just when I thought bleeding was coming to an end, I will go to the washroom to pee and gess what? A flood. I thank God I was at home those days. For the next week, I will still be clotting so that at some point I thought periods was staring all over again...

I was so scared I stopped the ACV and the BSM and called my Gyn. She gave me something (tranexamic acid) to stop the bleeding and I will be going for U/S with next period. She is also suggesting Fibristal, but I am not very exited about it. Has anyone experienced it? Is it effective? Surgery is not an option.

I really don't know what do to shrink the fibroid anymore...I hope there was a natural solution for me, but my experience with ACV is that since it's a blood thinner, it's probably the reason I experienced prolonged bleeding. I would like to know if it is something to be taken everyday or only during the period? I am OK with the taste of BSM ut it is making me feel bloated, but I taking in on an off, just because I am iron deficient.

Thank you for reading my post.

Dear Ozy,

I am sorry that the vinegar and blackstrap didn't work for you!

I have read about chickweed tea shrinking fibroids. You would want to drink a couple of cups of strong chickweed tea daily for a couple of months (unless it didn't agree with you for some reason.) If you want to try it, you would want to buy it by the pound from Mountain Rose Herbs or someplace like that.

To make the tea (really, a strong infusion.) 3 Tablespoons of chickweed in a mason jar. Add 2 cups boiling water. Cover. Let sit 4 hours. Strain. Drink two cups a day. It isn't really delicious. It tastes like spinach water, I will be honest. When I use chickweed I also use a generous amount of peppermint.

Please do read through Earth Clinic's fibroid remedies again as some other remedy may resonate with you.

Let us know how it goes.

Another option for uterine fibroids is turmeric. Turmeric is used for any illnesses related to blood and is especially good for women's reproductive problems. This is what they say of it in Chinese medicine. To increase absorption and improve the taste, you can boil 1 teaspoon turmeric in milk.

Herb that can be used to stop excessive bleeding is called Shepherd's Purse.

Going vegetarian might also be helpful as it would cut on the hormones. High fiber diet (lots of whole grains, vegetables, fruits and legumes) is also important because it binds sweeps harmful substances and hormones out of the body.

Try going off ACV and taking the BSM only and see how you feel. My wife is always taking 1 teaspoon to 1 Tablespoon of BSM in a cup of hot tea and she has never mentioned being bloated.

For iron deficiency, do not underestimate the power of simple raw greens, such as arugula, which are powerhouses of iron.

The recipe for turmeric milk if you are interested:

Combine 1 cup milk and 1 cup water in a pot. Add 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon ginger, pinch-1 teaspoon cinnamon, pinch-1 teaspoon black pepper (all powdered) and 5 cardamom pods if available. Boil until the water evaporates. Now the milk is saturated with turmeric.

Hi,

Can you please help me. I am 36 year old and I have a 5 year old daughter.

I had fibroid in 2014 and I got it operated (laproscopic)as well. Now on Nov 2015 I came to know from my Gyn that I have fibroid again, I am very tensed as I am putting on weight, majorly on my Tummy. I dont want to get it operated again as I want to conceive this year. I came across this website and thought of trying it.

I started taking ACV(1 Spoon) and BSM( 2 spoon) twice in a day, please help me...Can continue with this even after I conceive or I cannot take BSM and ACV when I am pregnant.

Please advice me what I suppose to do as I want to have child this year as I am already 36 yr old and suffering from fibroid. What I can do reduce my weight and shrink my fibroid without any medical procedure and parllely I can plan for family and conceive.

I would really appreciate your advice.

Dear Tina,

I take Apple Cider Vinegar and Blackstrap Molasses when I am pregnant and find them very helpful.

I would try castor oil packs over the abdomen area. 4 nights in a row, take three nights off. Do not use during your period. You could do that for a month or longer. It helps the liver to detox. It can help with fibroids too, I believe.

You should also take a folic acid supplement when you are trying to conceive and while pregnant.

I hope these things will be helpful to you and that you will be able to conceive soon!

Good day,

please I am pleased with all the positive results gotten from people in eliminating fibroid. a friend of mine has multiple fibroid three inside the womb and five outside the womb and she is a young lady not married yet. It gives her concern on how to get rid of them because she is afraid of surgery. She has hernia surgery 2012 and doesn't want enter theartre again.

She saw from the internet to use the mixture of blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar and she did for one month, but no difference that will encourage her to continue so she stops. She took I teaspoon of unsulphured blackstrap molasses and 2 tablespoon of applecider vinegar in half glass of water.

Please and please she wants to know the truth, if it is confidential, please send to her personal mail to the above address.

If not possible tell her and if it is possible still let her know the dosage and how to take it for shrinking of the fibroid and how long it will take her. Also how to noticed that is working.

What is the next thing to do?

Hello, my name is Marta and I'm 30. I've always had terrible pain and pms in my cycle. Last menstruation was the worst I've ever had, then 10 days after it stopped I started bleeding non stop so I went to the gyn and they told me I had a 7 cm fibroiT. that was 2 weeks ago . The doctors scared me so so much. I'm not the kind of person who belives conventional doctors so I did my research plus I'm totally against removing body parts at less.

I changed my diet compleatly and started Apple Cider Vinegar and Blackstrap Molasses. It has been a week now . I'm recovering from the anemia .

The problem is I was already very thin to start with and now I've lost 5 kilos, so i'm trying to find something that I can consume that makes me stop loosing weight. My weight is now 43 kilos. I'm not tall at all. On the other hand my stomach is not bloated it has changed dramaticly in a week . Could it also be the weight of the fibroid reducing? How much can a 7 cm fibroid weight? I don't feel the lump in my belly much. I'll have to wait till my next appoinment in a month.

I think it is working ( appart from too much weight loss 4 me) but still I'm quite scared, still very very tired and headaches and dizzines still there. Will keep posting . For some reason this issue has forced me to start changing my lifestyle and that is exacly what I wanted to do so, our bodies are incredibly clever ;) but I have to say all the bleeding dizziness and weakness is quite scary it does not help that my gyno and gp explained things in such a way and told me the only was was surgery even tho they don't even know why it came in the first place or why. I'm quite pissed of with that bit. I'm spanish but lived in the uk for a long time they had places like holland and barret and stuff like this but can't find anything like that here .. I'm strating acupunture and chinese medicine next week. I'll keep posted . I've read so so much in a week, I've run out of websites in both languages . But being informed of all options make me much calmer and allowes me to think which one is best so thanks for your website :)

Much love to all!

Hi, I am Michelle. Last year I lost a baby at one day and three months. It tore me up when I found out I have fibroid. If you find the molasses and vinigar to harsh with weight loss, try grapefruit and virgin olive oil, its helping me right now and stay away from ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, and egg and cheese soy products and anything that would increase your estrogen levels. Take care love

Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with a fibroid, polycysts and endometriosis..though they were small dr suggested me to do a surgery. I have decided to give myself a try with homeremedies. I have found this page on last month after my Appointment.

I took Apple Cider Vinegar alone for a week and I continued to mix with blackstrap molasses and I have also did castor oil pack every night.. I have stopped eating red meat as well as chicken. I also take dandelion tea.. I take beet parsley carrot and celery juice two days once..every evening I am eating papaya or watermelon I drink alot of water to flush out the toxic out of my body after three week plus today I had a scan dr said my fibroid and cyst had shrunk slightly.. I told him that I will try for three months than come back for a scan.

Dear readers, trust me after a week of Apple Cider Vinegar I had my period with less cramping and of course there was no extra bleeding after my period. I urge everyone to try this home remedy before deciding to do a surgery which has no guarantee of the reoccurring fibroids and cyst... I am going to continue this remedy after all it is cheaper and safe ...all the best people.

Thank you for reading my post.
