I was just diagnosed with basal cell on the tip of my nose. I used a paste of coconut oil and baking soda (1 tsp of each) as often as I could. I also first swabbed the area with apple cider vinegar. I am happy to say after about 6 weeks, I am free of any cancer on my nose. It works and looks completely normal.

I have used Black Salve/Bloodroot/Cancima on skin cancers for years with great success.

I made up my own salve from ingrediants available from wholesalers in Australia. The prepared product being too difficult and too expensive to get.

On some very old and deep lesions it is not a one off cure. You just have to be ever vigilant and apply to the spots as soon as you detect them. The biggest one covered nearly half my nose when I started. I removed it with 3 subsrquent applications. It still breaks out occasionally when I have been out in the sun with no protection, but if salve is applied as soon as a break in the skin is visible it is a quick removal with little discomfort.

I guess I have removed 20 or 30 BCC's since I started about 3 years ago. My daughter has my skin type and has als removed BCC's from her face. No knives for us thankyou!!

Thank you. I have been saturating cotton ball and soaking in apple cider vinegar. Turns very dark and scabs over and comes off but there seems to be more. Seemed to open and was a lot more than what I thought. So repeating….Less lesion, but still there. Repeating the process. I did about 14 days and then let it dry. I am repeating at present. I will try the recommendation. Thanks again. I wonder if I will will know if the root is gone like the person below asked. Time will tell as I keep at it.

Hi I used Curaderm for a BCC near my eye, which had previously been excised 3 times yet still returned over a 6 year period. A surgeon offered mohs treatment once the third excision had failed to remove it completely. This involved two invasive operations, the first the mohs procedure followed the following day by facial reconstruction. The whole procedure sounded horrific and I decided to go down the alternative route. Curaderm was very painful yet effective for a while. However it reappeared again within 2 years. This was when I found this forum and have and I am still treating it with a combination of Diluted ACV, Hydrogen Peroxide, Vitamin E Oil and just now the baking soda an vco. As this site in the corner of my eye is already scar tissued after 3 exisions, it is taking a while to heal and look red and angry and bleeds occasionally. I am not giving up, but I am realistic that as I have had this BCC reoccuring on and off for 12 years it may take a while of treating with these combinations before a real effective sign of complete healing appear.

I'm a 60 year young, white female, 130 pounds, living in the U.S.A., with basal cell carcinoma on the right side of my nose. A blackhead is what I thought it was and had gone to have a different non bcc spot checked on my left cheek. Biopsy was July 28,2015.

I started August 4th using organic apple cider vinegar, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide as a paste, alternating with fresh cut aloe vera (using the inside of the leaf) at night...securing either solution with a band aide. My nose looks horrible, due to the fact of more bcc there than what I'd hoped for. The area is puffy, red and just really looks bad. I believe I had read where it will get worse before it gets better. I'd love to post pictures of this process for two reasons, informative and feedback. Thank you for allowing me to join this discussion.

What grade of H202 should I buy? And one of my BCC's is very close to my eye. No problems with the Apple Cider Or Bi Carb, but is there any concerns using the H202 around my eye?

Claire from London:

If you can't treat it from outside, try the inside. Reduce intake of sugars to NIL (incl honey, syrups and alternative sweeteners).

Take Vitamin C powder mixed with water, baking soda and lemon juice. (Vitamin C powder Must be L-ascorbic acid as it is the best closest to natural. (2-3 teaspoons VitC, 1/2 teas soda and juice half lemon daily). You may need to start small and build up tolerance to Vit C (can trigger diarrhea). Can also drink Apple Cider vinegar (again start small). Or use it as a dressing for salads with lemon juice. What you are doing is changing gut bacteria through your digestive system and there's Internet info on Healing your Gut.

I'm progressing from this treatment to the treatments outlined here. So thank you folks!

Best wishes for speedy recoveries.

I believe the thistle you are referring to is actually the Common Sow Thistle (Sonchus Oleraceus).

The sap is white but quickly turns brown on exposure to the air. I too have used it for many years to treat minor skin cancers and sun spots and know it to be safe and effective.

Apple Cider Vinegar, Baking Soda and Coconut Oil:

Have used the described protocol several times now on small BCCs, for 7 days of treatment. It's worked each time.

To reduce the pain, try earthing:

  • Attach an earthing pad to the skin near the treatment area. or put the treated body part on an earthing pad.
For earthing equipment and how to earth: https://betterearthing.com.au/
  • Make sure that the contact of your skin with the earthing pad is firm.
E.g. when treating your left shin, lie on your left side with the left leg on the earthing pad and put your right leg onto your left leg for extra weight (the weight of the left leg on the earthing pad by itself wasn't enough for me to take the pain away).

I discovered this by chance. It's cut down half an hour of intense sting from ACV to just 5 minutes, and helped me with the baking soda and H2O2 treatments, too.

@Patches; I remember reading an article from a retired 70 year old dermatologist that said to use the following:

8oz pure water

1 tablespoon sea salt

3 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Use this solution as a compress on the skin for cancerous lesions at niight before bed. Do it for 10-22 days.

Reply to Terrie (re:BCC 07/15/2019).

Just sent an update on my treatment.

To answer your question, I left OCV/BS on for most of the day. Made a paste of about half each initially and spread it over my forehead after ACV dressing came off. When face gets hot and oil begins to melt somewhat I used tissues to blot my face. Need to find balance to have just enough VCO to be able to spread BS without starting to drip. Midday I would with great delight wash it all off, applied some aloe vera gel or echinacea cream to give my skin some rest and then applied VCO/BS again and left it on till bedtime. Hope this helps.

Blessings of good health to you.

Kally, having had the same reaction as you, I caved in and had it surgically removed, which left me with an impressive "pirate" scar.

In your place I would continue, but less applications and less amount each time, just so it will be tolerable till it does the job.

Nodula basal cell carcinoma

A dermatologist diagnosed my spot next to my nose (quite close to my eye). I decided not to see a surgeon but to try something natural. I googled Black salve and decided to give it a go. It's not available in shops but I managed to find someone who makes it locally.

I first used a buffpuff to roughen up the area on my nose and then applied the Black salve covered with a plaster. The spot was average size but raised. I covered more of my nose than just the spot. Within 24 hours it was bubbling yellow liquid out. I thought well this is good. When I removed the plaster the area was very sensitive. I didn't get a nice neat eschar like I had seen on someone elses post but instead when the yellow crust had been washed off gradually (when the area was not very sore anymore) I had quite a scar.

Well I thought, at least I got it all out.

Now around the scar I have a couple of tiny spots and a larger one on top area. Does this mean it's back? I don't want to use Black salve again in case my scar splits open. As a side note I also had a sore inside my nose slightly lower down from the original spot. This would gather mucous and it was sticky. I wonder if this is connected?

My main question is should I now do the Apple cider vinegar. What can I expect? Must I soak cotton on it or can I just dab?

WORKED TEMPORARILY

I have used cansema for my basal cell carcinoma. Initially, 3 years ago I had to use it 2 times and it worked great, but about 6 months ago it came back in the same place, so I used cansema again, but now the cancer keeps returning again and again. So I have to find another way to get rid of it.

Has anyone else had a basal cell cancer that keeps coming back, and tried something else that worked? I would appreciate any advice.

If I had to do it again, I would use h2o2, baking soda, ACV and green clay.

I'm seeing this so late as I search for help with my BCC on my nose and here is what I found with Hydrogen Peroxide. Use Essential Oxygen brand 3% Food Grade HP ONLY!! The cheap brown plastic bottles found everywhere are from China and have been found to contain very high levels of toxic metals. If you don't have a very good small organic market near you, iHerb and Vitacost used to sell it with iHerb being the least costly. You can also purchase direct from manufacturers website. It is much more expensive $10+ for a bottle but if you restrict it only for medicinal use it pays for itself. I use the cheap stuff only to clean my toilet etc.

I was diagnosed with BCC August 2013 via biopsy of pearly bump on upper forehead. Dermo DR recommended Mohs surgery ASAP. The biopsy removed half of the bump, I still had a small bump remaining after biopsy scar cured. I said 'wait, I'm going backpacking for 2 weeks - not a good time to be out in the woods with stitches. And 2 - what's the cost as I have a $5k deductible' (he said that I would probably use it up). After my trip, I found EC and read all the info.

Decided on hydrogen peroxide (standard 3%) applied 2x daily with strong scrub using a peroxide-soaked q-tip for one month, starting Nov. 2013. It stung but I would not say 'painful'. Small bump area was irritated (YES, peroxide is doing its thing). Eventually saw significant reduction in size of remaining bump but also no more signs of irritation.

Then I moved on to organic Apple Cider Vinegar Treatment using same 2x/day application with q-tip. this did not have same sting but caused a more general red rash area across my forehead but I did this for almost a month as well.

In both Treatment modes I left the area open (no bandages). In Jan. 2014 I returned to peroxide Treatment but there didn't seem to be any reaction thus stopped.

Today Feb. 4, 2014 I visited a NEW Dermo DR asking for a full skin scan (I'm 50 YO female, fair-haired, fair-skinned caucasian with lots of hours outdoors). NEW DR gave me full exam and declared that there were no concerns with my skin (any of it). I then told NEW DR of BCC Dx in August.... he rubbed my forehead with alcohol-soaked gauze and examined thru his 10x polar-light magnifier and declared 'yes, he could see a small pink bump (MINISCULE) in the scar tissue. and then he 'lawyered' up and agreed that the 'STANDARD of CARE' is Moh's surgery for this.

After he left, his assistant (who was there for the whole thing) said that I could wait until I got medicare insurance to cover the cost of surgery. So, I will NOT be getting Moh's surgery, I will be monitoring my skin for pearly bumps and other strange things. For pearly bumps I will invoke the peroxide Treatment (seemed more effective and makes sense when I think of my mom putting it on cuts and scrapes when I was a kid-'get rid of the bad stuff'); for other things I will go back to NEW DR for exam and Diagnosis.

It has been a year since my original post and thought I'd give an update on my status. The original bump on my forehead remains NOTHING but the scar from the biopsy - the remaining 'half-bump' has been gone since before I went to 2nd dermo DR. In March 2014 I realized that a 'bump' on my right cheek was not just a pimple. I applied the peroxide Tx for a month but it didn't seem to do much, then I applied the ACV (apple cider vinegar) Tx sporadically for a month and it didn't really do anything either. I got busy with summer fun and forgot about it. Since late winter to now I've been doing a mix between peroxide and ACV Tx and today I feel I've finally gotten somewhere because the area opened and bled without my coaxing (no real squeezing or scratching). Now I'm applying ACV Tx frequently to really get at the thing (same 'scrubbing wet q-tip' thing). In summary - I think I've learned that WHERE you get the BCC impacts how easy it is to cure. My forehead is thin skin and things progressed in a reasonable timeframe; this new 'bump' on my cheek is in the fleshy/puffy area and I think that is what is making it harder to cure - but I think I've had a literal 'break through' today.

for sure: no MOHs for me!

Veronica: this is late - but I use either peroxide OR apple cider vinegar.

all: I'm not sure that MOHs or peroxide or ACV Tx will cause further episodes. I believe that once we get it - we are prone to get it again. lucky thing is - it is slow growing.... Regarding eggplant cream and questionable websites - I think you're dealing with snake oil sales-sites - I prefer to stick to the basics. EC does not like 'naming names' but the ACV that I use starts with 'b' and is headquartered in California.

I am a 63 year old male, this is my 1st post here. I have had a small scab slightly above and at the end of my right eyebrow for about 3 or 4 months. The scab had some raised tissue surrounding the scab. My 1st thought was BCC, so I started to look for alternative treatment since even my doctor said nothing about it while I was having a general checkup a few months back. I came across this web site and decided to try the H2O2 and ACV treatments.

On the 21st of august I started to apply 3% H2O2 to the area with a Q-tip. I was very careful to only apply H2O2 to the scab and raised tissue area. I would apply H2O2 every hour and the H2O2 created a small depressed area in the skin about 3/8in in diameter all the scab was removed as well as the raised tissue that surrounded the scab.

I then applied a paste of baking soda and allowed it to dry. I covered the soda with a small band-aid. The area was very pink and the applications did sting a little. for the next 2 days I would apply H2O2 3 or 4 times a day, covering the area with baking soda and a band-aid.

On the 4 day I decided to intoduce ACV to the white scab that was about 3/8in diameter. The ACV turned the area black and apeared to dissolve part of the blackened area. I continued to apply ACV every cpl of hours on days 4 thru 6. After the dark scab was completely removed, I then kept applying baking soda paste on days 4,5,6,7,8

The baking soda seemed to assist with generating pink normal skin cells. On days 9 and 10 I left the area open to promote healing with the addition of a small amount of ointment to assist the healing process.

It is now day 11 and the 3/8in area is still slightly depressed but no scab exists or any raised tissue that formally surrounded the scab area. I do keep the 3/8in area covered with a very small band-aid and a tiny bit of ointment to keep the area soft. I am very encouraged by these results in only 11 days. There is still a slight depression of the 3/8in area but I am optimistic that this will slowly return to normal appearance in time.

I will continue to report any changes to the area that has been treated.

Fellow, you don't listen. I've told this story a jullion times. I worked for 8 major paper companies in my career and all sent me to charm school of which I flunked. I's smart , jus not delightful. Messin with you.

The best thing that has come on EC in awhile is the lady who revealed how she got her mother through Alzheimer's . That's a biggie. The U of Calif, Erving did a study on rats with Alzheimers some 5 years ago and the Niacianamide cured them all . Their next move was to test on humans. That never happened and never will. It's a money thing. I have been taking niacianamide since that study but have not done the other stuff the Asheville lady recommended. Now I will.

My ole boss is close to being educated, but he insists that every thing go through a double blind test. When these tests end then everyone will be dead. He poo poos the recent EDTA Chelation test. I am the only person he has talked to who has done 60 + EDTA Chelations. Everyone else has not done one, and he listens to them. I have talked to hundreds of people in my Chelation sessions. They all are just glad to be alive after by-passes, stints , statins etc. None would ever go back to a cardiologist. That is a death sentence if you do what they say.

EC is blazing a trail. Yep, there are folks who need to be listening instead of talking and yep some of the guru's don't know stuff they talk about. Myself, I love Russ Limbaugh, but Russ knows nothing about nutrition, exercise, the medical field, but he does know politics. When he gets out of his expertise then I want to slap him up side his head. That is the way I feel about some EC folks. But overall, this site is doing a service to mankind.

I would suggest castor oil for your lip. It works well for the skin. I have used it to soften my heels. It comes in a roll on formula now at a major retail store. It does work as a laxative. But in such a small quantity as a lip salve, I doubt that would be an issue.

I have not tried this personally. But, I would try it if I had that problem.

Another thought would be coconut oil. Both of these are anti fungal and there are researchers out there who believe cancers have a fungal basis.

Best of luck!

Vitamin C
Posted by Freedomforscience (Asheville, Nc) on 03/20/2012

I had a feeling I couldn't have treated my spot enough in my first post but because of work I let it go on for months since it wasn't too noticeable, less than 1mm and flat but then it got a little bloody one day so this is what I did. First, I'm not advising anyone to do this, I'm a DIY junkie. It matched the description for BCC but I didn't have a biopsy (my Dad is always having them burned off). The first day I cleaned it with H2O2 and put a paste of ascorbic acid. This makes the surrounding tissue very red so the second night I switched to Sodium ascorbate. After my showers I also used H202. By the 4th night I had like a raised white scab thing and I was to work on the 6th day so I quit putting vit c on. I used h202 but I didn't try to pull the white scab off because I was afraid it would look worse at work. It was an ugly blemish on the side of my nose.

By the 7th night after work the crust was real hard and I tried to pull it but it started to bleed from under it. The bleeding stopped when I washed it with H202 and I nervously went to bed (what have I done now! ?). On day 8 I took a steamy shower which softened the white dead skin and applying peroxide with an eye dropper I easily debrided the white skin leaving a clean red mark. After that I used peroxide acouple times a day which caused less and less of white exudate and now day 10 I have a non reactive spot of skin that looks pretty fabulous. You can just barely see a slightly redder color of skin where it used to be like a healed scab. I really can't believe it so I will follow up on this post periodically to say whether it comes back.

I also couldn't maintain the vegan diet from last post and had started eating dairy. I did go vegan for 10 days right before I started this treatment again but got too tired at my job and ate some cheese. (lactovegetaian 30 years). I'm gonna attempt to keep the dairy at a minimum. I must say I'm gonna feel relieved at work today that it appears I have not just made something worse! Last time I used Vit C I didn't use peroxide at all so maybe that's the key. You have to get that white bubbly growth of exudate, I don't know unfortunately, I'm just saying so far this is less painful than going to the Dr! Oh yeah, and cost less than a couple bucks. Sodium ascorbate powder is expensive but my jar was like 4 yrs old so I'm not sure it was active but it didn't look oxidized

Oregano Oil
Posted by Sue (Fairfax, Va) on 06/09/2018

Hi,

Has anyone successfully used oil of oregano on a basal cell carcinoma? I noticed a red spot on my thigh and thought it was an insect bite (though no pain or itching.) For the past few days, I've applied oregano oil on it and covered it with a band-aid, once a day. It seems to be changing — maybe a bit less red — but today I googled skin cancer and saw photos that made it clear that it is basal cell carcinoma.

My impulse was to make an appointment with my dermatologist, but after reading about BCC on earth clinic, I am thinking Curaderm might be a wise move first, right? But I'm curious as to whether anyone has used oregano oil, and if it was effective.

Thank you!

MARIA,,,,,,, glad blood root worked for you and it does eat cancer. I aborted my use of it once because I got spooked. An Integrative doctor in Atlanta told me that he misused it in addressing cancer and it ate a hole in his back. Maybe that is a small price to pay for eliminating cancer. I would just be cautious.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but blood root is a very strong remedy. Right now, I have a spot near my right eye that I am addressing with Cureaderm. Maybe, I should let my Dermatologist address this problem. A short while ago I took off a spot on my shoulder with Cureaderm. If it is not cancer, it will not affect your skin. You do not have to get a biopsies, because the treatment will tell you. Basel Cell is one thing, but Squamous Cell is another. Both are skin cancers, but not equal.

I wish you well. ====ORH==

Hi CB, THANK YOU so much for your detailed input. What you describe is exactly what I have been dealing with for two years now. My BCC spot is on the side of my nose. It started out as a small 'sun spot' -- light brown, slightly raised -- enough that I noticed it from the corner of my eye. I stupidly put Compound W on it (for warts). That did indeed burn off the small spot (smaller than the top of a pencil eraser), but ever since then I've been dealing with what looks exactly like a BCC (from pics on 'net) that won't heal. I've tried numerous home treatments, and managed to get it to the point it looked like it was about gone, only to have it start growing back. I haven't tried ACV, but will start that regimen today, thanks to your input. So tired of having this on my nose, but I have no health insurance and no desire to have half my nose cut off by an overzealous derm. Blessings to you for giving me the info and a new hope for clearing this on my own w/o losing half my nose.

Petty Spurge

Mmsg,

I think the herb has varying degrees of effectiveness for each user. In a survey they conducted in Australia using ingenol mebutate (produced by Petty Spurge) to treat non-melanoma skin cancers, they had an 85% success rate. That's pretty impressive but still means 15% of users found it to be ineffective. For myself, a 3 day application was ample. I never went beyond that schedule as I didn't need to. If you say it didn't work for you then I guess you might be in that 15% category, but since you had the expected reaction to the initial treatment it does seem strange that you didn't get the desired result.

Maybe someone reading this forum can answer that as I'm a little lost as to why it didn't work for you.

Hi IanI,

The fresh dark-red sap from the bloodroot plant is comparatively much weaker than the petty spurge, requiring several applications over the day. The bloodroot sap can be evaporated down to a tar, applied as a blob, then covered by a bandaid to help its effectiveness; or the tar can be combined with glycerine and a skin-softening adjunct, such as zinc chloride, to help its attack against the skin malady. DMSO is added by some who make their own salve. The belief is that DMSO helps the destructive agents penetrate to the 'root' of the nasty. Most formulators buy the dried bloodroot powdered; then add water and the other agents, gently cooking it all down to a 'mud'. Again, you put on a blob and cover it with a bandaid and within about 12 hours you feel the dull but increasing ache of the resultant skin-necrosis. Within a day or so the site of the problem looks so amazingly bad that anyone seeing it will tell you to get to the hospital. But the 'mud' has done it's work and all that redness and hurt will slowly go away as the good surrounding skin expels the necrosis.

Some claim bloodroot will only kill bad skin. It does destry weaker skin first; but given enough time it will also attack 'good' skin.

It is typical to develop actinic or other skin damage spots on the nose. I would advise one never apply a bloodroot salve to the nose, as the actual skin layer is so very thin that the resulting necrosis can produce an actual hole into your nasal cavity. Instead, I use a single drop of petty spurge which will destroy only the outer skin-layer. If the nasty returns, again use only the single application of the spurge. Applying the sap three times in three days can result in a hole, also. One has more 'surgical' control with the spurge.

If you have plenty of Greater Celandine growing nearby then a similarly effective concoction can be gleaned through trial-and-error. The orange sap of the greater celandine contains the same destructive alkaloid as bloodroot.

The dandelion and common milkweed plants (of the USA) also have a caustic effect on damaged skin, but are so much weaker when pitted against that tiny droplet of petty spurge.

I've read where the Picato gel costs nearly $600 in the US.

Thank you for your encouraging words, I am persevering, I have been applying the peroxide every day along with ACV at various times, at night I apply vit C powder mixed with Coconut Oil or Vitamin E Oil, in the morning there is a often a bloody looking discharge I clean that up with Peroxide which stings for a few minutes. When should I stop the treatment?

Hi. Thanks for sharing your story. How is your bcc now? Did it completely go away? I have a small one on my eyelid and did try Apple Cider Vinegar but it kept pussing and no healing. I'm now using CBD oil and it seems to be drying out and has 2 raised bumps around the area of the 3 mm biopsy. I'm hoping this will work because the idea of having my eyelid cut out is very scary!

It might not be a bad thing to see it grow larger when you start using the topical treatments [peroxide, apple cider vinegar, iodine, and I would add TEA TREE OIL as an option] - these irritate the cancer cells, which is what we want. The ointments might also be irritating the healthy tissues, but they are not being killed like the cancer is.

But yes, it could be cause for concern. Mine got a bit painful, but that is okay in this case. Use your intuition, talk to your skin, ask and await an answer [this is difficult to teach].

HI U OLE PATOOTS DOIN, , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Told ya'll that this would be a long and drawn out experiment and it certainly is. I changed it up today and mixed Bentonite Clay with the egg plant and ACV. That seemed to help. I also came up with the idea of wrapping my arms in press and seal plastic wrap. That keeps the potion wet and sealed on my arms. If this works on my arms then the next project is my face. When I way young, I looked like Tom Cruise. Now I look like Charles Bronson or Jack Palance. Both are so ugly that they are handsome some 300 yards off, and so am I, if you squint.

Hey, you can still do all this good health stuff and not get too serious.

Bloodroot
Posted by Nanowriter (Hotspot, Texas) on 10/26/2013

I had bcc diagnosed and biopsies roughly a year ago and have done a fair amount of reading since. One book that is very good is "Cancer Salves" which goes into detail about various anti cancer salves. Bloodroot is usually mixed with other ingredients and is effective, but can be a bit of a runaway train. You can search on YouTube and find videos of people who have used it.

A topical that I used on my nodular bcc was vitamin C, which I purchased in powder form, mixed with water and applied as continuously as I could stand. It was slow and fairly painful, but the growth dissolved and the C began dissolving the "fingers" that extended out from it.

As to the swelling you have, the way that many topicals supposedly work is that they remove the protective covering that keeps your immune system from realizing the cancer is there. So as your immune system is discovering the cancer, you are experiencing what would happen if your body fought a bacterial infection--swelling, pain, redness, etc. As to what lies beneath, even conventional treatments can miss part of the cancer and it will simply grow back.

Along these lines, if you do treat topically, extend the margins of treatment beyond what you see on the skin's surface by 1/2 inch or so in order to catch the "satellite cells" that are likely underneath.

Basal Cell Carcinoma Remedies

Dear Brooke,

We have used the Vitamin C treatment for my husband who had a flaking growth on his ear several years ago. It appeared to be pre-cancerous Squamous Cell Carcinoma. We used Vitamin C crystals (Ascorbic Acid). We put 1 part vitamin C and 8 parts water in a little glass bowl and applied it with a q-tip twice a day. (You make a new batch each day. ) Sometimes we forgot to treat it. 3x a day would have been better and covering it with a bandaid was recommended but we didn't do that. It was on his ear. We did this pretty faithfully for maybe a month or more. It did cure it and it hasn't come back. That was all we did. We read about this in the book, Cancer, Step Outside the Box. The author said with would work for BCC or SCC. He also recommended Colloidal Silver, but didn't give much information about how often to use it.

I think any treatment would work better if you worked on getting your body ph where it should be. There is tons of information on this site about that. Also, since cancer loves sugar, keeping that to a minimum would be ideal.

Please let us know what helps you!

Preventing BCC
Posted by Debbie (Jacksonville, Florida) on 03/11/2016

Just diagnosed with BCC on the area in between my eyes, just above the bridge of the nose. Its is very small and has been there for about 25 years!! It has not grown bigger and in fact has gotten smaller since applying Vitamin C serum to my face for wrinkles. My concern is that it is nodular BCC and they say that this type of cancer goes deeper and grows roots. If I can use these natural remedies to remove the exposed area, how do I know if the roots are gone? Are there tests that docs can do to see inside??

I guess it's called "common" because it is found everywhere on the east coast of Australia.

Hydrogen Peroxide
Posted by Donna (Drexel Hill, Pa) on 12/12/2010

Hi Jake, I was very interested in how you are getting rid of the skin cancers you have. I have been dealing with a large growth on my upper stomach about the size of a nickel for a while now. I have used hydrogen peroxide on it but not as often as you. Lately I have been applying 2% iodine tincture to it about once a day. Occasionally it will crust up and a layer of skin will flake off, but I haven't had any bleeding or reduction in size. I was wondering if you might be a little more specific about how you apply the hydrogen peroxide (do you dab it on or soak a cotton ball and tape it to your skin). I would really appreciate any additional information because I am really tired of dealing with this thing. Thank you for your time.

Treasaj, surgeries often leave scars. Scars are not seemly, and they also block free flow of lymph, that keeps body/skin healthy. When body heals the problem spots with these natural tools it seems to create a better, smoother inside and outside tissues. It may take a bit longer, than surgeon cutting it out, but it seems to come back much less often, since the body healed it. That is what I know about why so many prefer not to have their nose cut splayed open, and dug through in layers of tissues.

I have had a basil cell carcenoma on my back for about a year.

It got a little bigger and I decided to get rid of it.

I have been using food grade h2o2 Hydrogen Peroxide (25-35%)

It burns but works great. Just use a cue tip dip it into the h2o2 and it burns the top layers of over a few weeks. It's better than the doctor and cost's about $1.00 worth of the food grade peroxide.

I will tolerate a little pain, no pain no gain.

Hi all I am starting to use lugols on a suspicious spot on my arm which has always concerned me. I have read that this is a slow process of about 30 days and have chosen this method over others because I don't wish to damage my surrounding skin and I am delivering much needed iodine to my body. I have many spots so this is the guinea pig one and I will let you know how it goes. So far (day three) I can advise a tingling sensation only on the spot after application which gives me confidence. I never knew these spots were 'bad' I always called them beauty spots but the reaction after lugols tells me. My surrounding skin does not tingle on application.

I've had good results dabbing a drop of wild organic oregano oil on a BCC on my leg, then covering it with a band-aid. I re-apply every couple of days with a new band-aid. I've done it for about 2 months, and it has shrunk until invisible; the skin looks normal, but I am continuing to apply it every few days, with a few days in-between of not treating it at all. Thinking I'll stop in another month. I hope this works for you.

P.S. Make sure you buy organic oregano oil in a "carrier" oil such as olive oil. And don't get it into your eyes!

Can you provide the name of the "cottage business" that sells a bottled version of the Petty spurge sap? I'm here in the U.S. and Picato gel is well over $600 for a small tube. I have Petty spurge growing here and have tried the sap and a poultice of the plant ground up...Maybe the California species I have is not as strong...it has an effect but nothing like what is described here... I have knocked out some small ones completely but the larger ones are being very resilient though getting ever so slightly smaller.

I have just been diagnosed with a BCC on my nose, after being told last year it was just a scratch by a GP and had it zapped with the dry ice thing :( After the skin cancer doctor doing 3 biopsies and freaking me out, he says it's around $5000 up front, which I don't have, even if I wanted the surgery straight away. I'm glad I've seen this page and that people seem to have success with the ACV, baking soda and coconut oil. They are all things I already have, so I will start today and see what happens... It's good to see so many people here who have been through it before. I've not really been around anyone with this problem before, and the doctor scared the heck out of me :)

Hello Mmsg,

You might also try mixing DMSO with broken caps of "pancreatin" and applying topically. Try twice a day for two weeks and see if the condition reduces. Pancreatic enzymes were the big "go to" in Dr Kelley's anti cancer program and is used extensively by Dr Nick Gonzales on New York to treat cancer. (There is MUCH more to Dr Gonzales' program than enzymes.)

When the wound is completely healed, you should be clear of it. If it comes back then do it again and remember not to let it dry out so that your body can expel all the bad cells. Best of luck.

HI U GOD FEARING FOLKS DOIN, , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Have not been on the site since EC threw my harsh response out, and I wrote them back and told them that was the right thing to do. We all need to look after one another and not get upset when some folks try to get under your skin. As my mother always told me, "consider the source." I am a type "A" person, so that is hard.

Anyways, I don't have a great revelation to reveal but have just started an interesting experiment. As an old foggie who has spent their entire life in the sun in the sweat South, my hands and arms are pitiful. The sun has done its damage, and as all know, this turns into cancer eventually. Well, I wrote about that experience where I bought the eggplant ointment from Great Britain several years ago and cured my skin cancer. Now I am going to try and remove these brown spots before they get to that point.

None of this is original with me. I read it and will repeat what I've read. Today I cut up an eggplant and mixed Apple Cider Vinegar with it in a blender and will leave it in the refrigerator for a few days and then apply it to my hands first. I will do this at night and cover my hands with rubber gloves. I am thinking how DMSO could help in this endeavor but decided not to complicate the trial. May do that later.

Suspect this is a long time thing and will only report back when there are results. I am a love me or hate me kind of guy. I know this and try to do good, so bear with me a little bit.

Hi all,

BCC cancer is not a joke since it can inundate cartilage tissue and progress into the bone where it becomes very difficult to deal with often resulting in death. My first experience with it was to treat it with macky gooey Amazon topical skin creme a nasty skin burning acidic flesh eating concoction that resulted with an area of 1" size been eaten away to the living muscle tissue. healing was done in about one week leaving permanent white mark on my right chick an inch away from my ear. Additional visit to oncologist resulted in core samples been taken from around treated area, showing presence of BCC. Surgery was performed on jore line of my left chick because of lesion appearing there. I'm scheduled to have same procedure on my right chick near area I treated with Amasone topical skin creme. Here was beginning of my search to see what else can be done instead of surgery. Eggplant product made in Australia over two decades ago come to my attention called CURADERM topical creme or BEC5 which I have used for last two weeks. Burning and scaring was the result but when treatment was done and healing process finished there was nothing bud healthy tissue to be left behind this painful experience. Makers of this product suggest treatment to last between 7 and 70 days depending on you condition. Area of treatment is not to exceed 5 cm at a time. The creme contains ; Solasodin, Glycosides ( Bec) Salycilic acid and Urea. This stuff can be ordered at: www.curadermbec5global.com and here in Australia it cost AU$ 124.00 for 20 ml (which goes a long way). I also bought Hulda Regehr Clark zap machine that supposed to kill defective skin cells by radio frequency. So far no conclusive evidence that it works. Yesterday 06/03/2014 I received her book called "The Cure For All Cancers" via distributing house called Book Depository. You can tray www.newcenturypress.com. I'm also takin organically grown apricot kernels, 3 per day since it has B17 vitamin and tincture preparation named ESSIAC purchased from www.secretsofeden.com phone : 1-888-820-2126. My order of DERMACURE skin restoration creme has arrived today and this creme should deal with skin discoloration, dark marks, spots, scars etc. Email to order : [email protected] or phone in USA : 607-936-4617. This web side has information about alternative cancer clinics around the world : http://www.cancerdefeated.com/About . As all of you folks can see every one paddles his own snake oils which deal with the surface problem but not dealing with the core of it. We all have some form of genetic predisposition which leads to our cells turning on and then failing to die at the end of the life cycles which is root of the problem in the first place. Research is been done in this field all around the world and probably one that is showing to be the most promising is that done in the field of cannabidiol, which is done by California Medical Centre and points towards CBD component of cannabis which actually turns off defective genes. This goope is very expensive and can be bought in San Diego from distributor : RSHO, LLC phone: 866-781-3083 or , www.realscientifichempoil.com . It would pay to see articles on youtube reffering to Simpson oil. Other methods of treatments are available around the world and one of them is so called BrachyTherapy developed in Italy and involving use of epidermal radioisotope therapy by rhenium-188. There is also bloke by name Richard Vensal D.D.S that claimed to have cured cancer with use of asparagus and list goes on and on all the way to cook for 4 minutes mixture made from bicarbonate soda and pure Canadian maple syrup. Well that's it people decision is yours. This information is not the advice for you to use any of these things and if you choose to go on the path of self healing is strictly you own decision. Best of luck on your journey and God bless you, Ivan.

HI U MARIA, , , , , , , , , , , , , don't confuse me with the truly bright folks on this site. What I am is an educated Redneck that reads a lot. I'v told this story several times , but I will repeat it and expand it to my wife and her body moles. I have only had two skin cancers affirmed and both I had them addressed traditionally. One did not work on my hand and I took care of that with Curaderm after I had read Dr. Cham's book. All MDs do not hurt for ego and my friend and integrative doctor would not accept that he had failed . Yep , he did. The next cancer was on my forehead and I decided to let a competent Dermatologist handle that one and he did. He cut and test and cut some more until he had a clean site. I can't believe that the cancer breast surgeons are just now doing this.

My wife of 54 years has a number or raised red moles on her back and it does not bother her, but it is bothering me. I have put Curaderm on several but to no avail. Chum says if they are not cancerous then nothing will happen. That was what we experienced. She now has one that is under her bra and it stays irritated and red. I told her today that we will address that with ACV and see if we can remove it.

I know hydrogen peroxide, but I did not know the cream. I did the google thing jus now and yep it's there. I have an Medical Ozone Generator and wonder if Ozonated Olive Oil would not be more powerful. Have no clue.

In short, Maria, I think you can send me to school on this subject, but I appreciate you thinking of me. All us old folks want to be loved, especially by someone as nice as you.

Thanks Maria and ORH for all the info. Since I already mentalized myself that it will be cut out, I'm game to try anything around the house until they do that. I've made up the eggplant/vinegar mix and apply it many times daily. Will it help? I don't know yet, but it's transparent and the smell goes away after a few moments, so I don't care to put it on.

Morning and evening, just for good measure, I put on wet baking powder for a few minutes, wash it off and put green clay for a few minutes, wash it off and put some iodine. One layer of iodine doesn't stain the skin too much.

I don't WANT the surgery, but I've already tried SO many things for over a year and all I got for it is a spreading of the affected area, that I don't see what else to do. So I'll be left with a scar, big deal, I'm old enough not to care (much...)!

Bloodroot
Posted by Suz (Salt Lake City, Utah) on 10/25/2013

I'm so grateful... just discovered this site and spent a couple hours reading posts. ...great comfort to find this.

I am female, 64, very fair skin, and confirmed basel cell carcinoma on bridge of nose just to the left side. However, it is really hard to detect anything by a casual glance.

My nose was never discolored as is the case with some people with bsa, but I can see that there is (and has been for some time) a darkness under the skin on the bridge of my nose. Other than a slight puffiness to my nose, I could get by without anyone even guessing there is a problem. But then again the dermatologist didn't recognize the true issue a year ago and sent me home. At that time however, I clearly saw the first suspicious "pimples" and the tiny sore that wouldn't heal.

But, the biopsy in August 2013, was indeed positive this year.

....went to 2 different dermatologists this past summer, the first one did the biopsy and wanted to do surgery. I opted out... stalled on that.
.... I heard about MOHS surgery and kept looking for an answer.
.... and the second dermatologist wanted me to use a cream called Aldara.
.... got Aldara at the pharmacy but decided not to use it because of the side effects mentioned regarding the immune system.
... started looking on the internet and found information by a Ph.d researcher (mentioned other places on this site), and the associated company who sells bloodroot products and enzymes.
... He was encouraging and said that by using the product, most bsc will fade and disappear without using any bloodroot paste.
... ordered the package "A" and titrated up with the recommended bloodroot, enzymes, and bloodroot/with/buffer capsules till I was at a fairly high dosage and starting to feel nauseous then backed up and lowered the amount after 2 weeks, but continued on
.... I didn't keep an exact record on the daily amount but I will say that I have taken the product for 2 months now, but at a low amount 5 of the 8 weeks.

Observations: I did decide that the capsule with buffer mixed with bloodroot bothers my system, so I cut that down to 1 capsule per day together with a HALF capsule of the full strength bloodroot. I also take 2 enzyme capsules per each meal. I intend to continue to do this every day until all the suspicious spots fade or if I get better advice. I feel a subtle nausea every day but it doesn't distract me badly from my regular activities. One big discovery was that if I take 2-3 teaspoons of fresh lemon juice at the beginning of a meal, eat half the meal, then take the capsules, then finish the meal... I have less nausea.

More observations: a dozen or more small reddish spots have flared redder at first, then altogether disappeared, or they are in process of disappearing around my face, that is; mainly my forehead, plus 3 above my upper lip. Also something that looked like a large pimple in the middle of my cheek for months, has shrunken and I'm hopeful it will dry up and disappear soon... (it's barely noticeable now).

The irregular, slightly raised shapes on my nose (by the way they never were discolored), have smoothed out.
However I have had a few temporary "pimple" shapes appear right around the biopsy area, only to recede again.

I have wondered if there is a deeper problem down in the tissue of my nose, perhaps in the cartilage or even my sinuses. I don't know. I wish I could know.

My nose seems a bit puffy... I don't see my full nose definition that I had 6 months ago... I suppose I get nervous and worry that the carcinoma is progressing despite my efforts, but then again I wonder if it's just that the bloodroot herb is attacking deeper problems and thus causing a reaction in the skin.

I have, on my own, experimented with the bloodroot.

On 3 different occasions I have wet my index finger with water, dipped it in the bloodroot powder and rubbed it on my nose. It seemed to absorb most of it. Then I rubbed on a little emu oil.
I left it on for about 1 hour and washed it off.
I then apply aloe vera gel... and then, finally apply a little emu oil which is very, very healing.
Later in the day here was a slight sensation for a while... almost aching... but that's all.

Does that seem crazy or a bad idea... or a good idea?

My nose aches at times but then it feels fine at times.
I don't know if that means I am healing or getting worse.
I don't know if I should keep applying the bloodroot externally the way I am, or, I wonder if I should just continue to take the capsules daily the way I am.... or stop.
I would like to know if anyone else has tried doing something like this, or what they think of it.
This is such a guessing game.

What does the hurting or aching of the nose indicate? What does 'tingling' indicate? What does puffiness indicate?.

Genuine feedback would be most appreciated! Thank you.

Add 5% tincture of Iodine to the list of topical items we are trying.

Basal Cell Carcinoma Remedies

My husband, who is 47, had flaking spots on his ears that appeared to be pre-cancerous BCC. He is very fair skinned. His brother had a melanoma removed when he was 27. (He is even more fair skinned. ) Anyway, we didn't want to go down the medical route. We read about using Vitamin C on skin cancer in the book, "Cancer: Step Outside of the Box. " We used his protocol for skin cancer and it worked!!! You mix vitamin C powder (ascorbic acid- get a good one that is non-gmo. ) 1 part Vitamin C powder with 8 parts water. We would use a cotton ball to apply this solution to the ear a couple of times a day. 4 times a day would be better but he was away at work during the day. He also forgot sometimes. But within a month the spot was gone. That was a couple of years ago and it has not reappeared.

One complication you have is that the spot is on the eyelid. I do not know if this solution would burn the eye. You could add salt to it to get it to a comfortable PH for the eye. But I am not sure how much that would be. You could also put castor oil in the eye before putting the vitamin C solution on the eyelid, but you wouldn't want to get the castor oil on the eyelid because then the solution would not adhere to the eye.

The author of this book also says that colloidal silver will kill cancer cells. I think some people use this in the eye, so it may be easier on the eye, but I have no experience with this. Someone else might say if colloidal silver can go in the eyes. The author says that you should get a high quality silver, in other words with smaller particles. Not sure what else to say about this as we have no experience with it, but I thought I would mention it in case you wanted to research it.

Hope you find a good natural solution! Let us know what works for you!

Jax --- try cold pressed castor oil also called Palma Christi, it can be put into the eye and does many good healings. Do research under Edgar Cayce.

The proper name for the plant you use for BCC is called euphorbia peplus, radium weed or milk weed. You apply once a day for 3 days. Then leave. It works well for superficial BCC ,but anything deeper ( invasive ) I would have cut out asap.

I have been using buffered vitamin c on a cancerous spot. It has taken a few weeks but it is finally scabbing up and shrinking. I emptied out a buffered c capsule into a cup, wet a qtip, dipped it in it until it bubbled and put it on the spot three times a day. At first it itched, then after a week it stung a little and then it started to bleed and scab. Now it is about half the size. I'll let you know if it clears up completely.

The simplest way to remove a small basal cell carcinoma is with the head of a nail heated on the stove or with a propane torch, it does smart a bit and scars a little more than freezing it out with liquid nitrogen, but it's vastly less expensive. Just use common sense, go slow and easy, and don't thrust it violently into the skin as in some old cowboy movie.

Richard, glad that Moh's surgery has worked well for you. Many of us with BCC/SCCs end up in alt med because of recurrence.

I had a BCC removed by Moh's. The incision ran from the outer corner of my eye to the inner corner and then down my nose to below my upper lip. Caring for such a large open wound near my brain was truly terrifying.

About a month after the surgery, a new growth started up on the opposite side of my nose. Eight months after my surgery, a new growth started up right on the Moh's incision line. This is not unusual for cancer surgery patients to experience.

Moh's surgery does not guarantee skin cancer will not recurr in that spot or other spots. Like black salve, vit C, etc., it is treating the symptom, but not the cause.

My point is that conventional medicine is no better off than we are in keeping cancers from recurring. It is simply a different way of removing cancer growths. Removing them does not necessarily cure the patient of cancer.

I've been using vit c, frankincense, aldera, baking soda, peroxide, castor oil. My Basal Cell Carcinoma just seems to be getting raw and bigger with little cyst looking particles. The area just seems to be getting larger and worse. Anyone tried bloodroot or have any suggestions? It's on my chin near lip so I'm truing to avoid surgery. Please help if you have any suggestions.

Julie: Try to find a salve w/ Bloodroot as one of the ingredients. I have a salve product called "Tumorgone" that contains bloodroot.

The 70 year old gentleman with the large facial basal cell carcinoma should have it treated by a radiation oncologist (NOT a medical oncologist. ) Large facial basal cells can become infiltrative and burrow deep into the skin. In a few weeks of facial radiation treatments (about 2 minutes a day), he can eradicate that cell. I've saved my ear from Mohs surgery by having radiation. I've just had a large infiltrative lesion from my waistline treated with radiation as well. I'm going to try the Iodine treatment, but only on small lesions on my scalp. There is a huge difference between small lesions which can be treated topically and large cells that can spread to vital organs.

Hi,

I read your post on bcc. I think I have one on the forehead, I love the sun, 58yo very fit. I started the 35% and it does burn full strength. How long did you have to use it, how often a day and what finally happened? Mine seems to kind of crust up, it washes off in the shower. I own a business so do not want a big white spot at work. I use it during the evening 2-3 times and before bed. It bubbles and stings then the pain is gone. I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Marshall, Cansema is what you are after, google it to find a source. I have used it with 100% success as have friends, my friend had a 30mm cancer fall out of his ear after 3 days. Cansema is nothing short of miraculous. Best of luck and don't forget to treat any other suspicous spots at the same time

Hi. I found this site recently, and I'd like to know about Cansema that Paula and Cameron mention. Is this safe to use on the face? I have a place on the side of my nose that I've been putting h2o2 on (just the kind available in the grocery stores), and I now have a spot at the corner of my mouth. When I put the h2o2 on, it turns white and gets inflamed, then after a few moments it settles down. I've been dealing with the place on my nose for a year; it would shrink down to a pinpoint, then come back. Now the area that turns white is rather large, maybe 3/4 of an inch or more. I would like to get rid of it, obviously, but don't want surgery or anything that would leave a scar. So, has anyone used Cansema on their face successfully? Any other recommendations? I have not had a biopsy, but my doctor told me last summer that it was very likely a bcc and he sent me to a dermatologist. I didn't go, for several reasons. Thank you.

Bri,

I tried 5% J Crows iodine on my Basal Cell, but it wasn't strong enough. But what is working is Doc Shillington's Total Draw powder mixed into a paste with equal parts of apple cider vinegar and distilled water. I apply at night, putting a piece of Saran Wrap on top and then secured with skin tape. It is getting smaller and forming a scab. I make enough paste at a time to use for about a week. Keep rest covered tightly in refrigerator.

Baking Soda, Castor Oil, Hydrogen Peroxide

Dear Greg,

Castor oil oil has a good reputation in the healing of tumors and growths. Because of this, I would hesitate to substitute it with something else. I suspect it is a critical ingredient.
