Melatonin Gel or Magnesium Oil

My friend gave me another update on how melatonin gel and mag oil are doing for his AFib after I suggested he try both together instead of one or the other.

First he told me that the melatonin gel didn't mix well with mag oil and the mag oil seemed to cause the aloe gel to break down into very small bits and pieces. So he decided to use melatonin lotion which he said was more compatible with the mag oil.

I asked him if the 3 times daily application of melatonin lotion (ML) and mag oil (MO) to his chest was keeping his AFib 100% controlled or some other percent of control.

This was his answer :

' 90-95% controlled. I wore a heart monitor prescribed by my cardiologist. Visited the afib Dr. this week. Only two very small instances of heart beat irregularities lasting less than a minute. '

He is very happy with his results and not having to deal with the heart pounding and breathing difficulties at bedtime every night is helping him fall asleep faster and sleep better!

So ML + MO seems to really help control his AFib when applied 3x a day to the chest and is improving his quality of life significantly while also lessening frequency of irregular heart beats.

Recently when speaking with a friend, he told me that he was diagnosed with Afib, a form of arrythmia, awhile back and that it frequently caused him problems when he would lay down to go to sleep. He said that his heart felt like it was pounding and it would prevent him from being able to sleep.

I gave him a spray bottle of mag oil and a bottle of melatonin gel and told him that if his cardiologist approved their topical use for his Afib, he could try applying either one to his chest area and the upper part of his stomach area at bedtime as I felt either one would help him.

After a week I talked with him again and he told me that both had worked similarly to resolve his feeling of his heart pounding within 10 to 15 minutes after application and he was able to go right to sleep. He said he liked the melatonin gel.

He didn't try both together, but I will mention that option to him for consideration next time we speak.

He told me that previously he would use deep breathing to calm his heart, but it didn't always work and he would lose a lot of sleep. He said he is very happy with his results and he will use these from now on. He thanked me for the bottles and the relief and I gave him the information on how to make both for himself in the future.
