I had GW for about 5 years now, ive tried a natural wart remover(forgot the name,got off ebay, blue bottle) and wartol, warts just lessened in size but came back after a few months. Now its my 4th straight day applying ACV(2-5 hours a day). Only a couple of my warts have blackened, but more than half of it is still the same (or may have whitened a little bit)..i soak like 2-4 cottonballs with ACV then tape it around the area between the head of my penis and the shaft (where most of my GW are)..am i doing anything wrong or is ACV just not for me?or should i just keep doing what im doing? the pain is tolerable for me, and my skin down there is pretty resilient to acv...

i was diagnosed with hpv about four years ago when i first had a genital wart outbreak around vagina. i treated them via aldara and recently had an outbreak after beginning "oil pulling". i thought it was probably a reaction and received aldara again. in the last couple of months i have noticed a hard flat bump on the inside of my upper lip. it has not gone away or gotten any bigger. it is about the size of an eraser head around but flat. now that i have been hearing about oral warts i am wondering if that is what it is and who i would even go see a gyno or a dentist? i tried soaking a cotton ball in acv and my whole upper lip turned white and was very sore after only ten minutes. i dont know if it turned white because lip tissue is so sensitive or if it is because it is warts. i am very worried if anyone has any insight please help!!

Carol—- I had a similar experience with oil pulling. I know it has been a while and this is a long shot— but how are you doing now?

I tried ACV for my very small genital warts at the opening of my vagina, i used a cotton ball overnight for two nights and for the last three days I have devleoped a very nasty itchy and painful rash down there! It's worse than the warts!! I have been cleaning it with tea tree oil and using vit e oil but it doesnt seem to be getting better! I'm devastated cuz I was really hoping for the ACV to get rid of my little warts and now i'm suffering a bigger problem. Has anyone else had this reaction? Is it that I've burnt my skin with the ACV? God I hope it heals soon.

I had the same reaction on my anal warts. They went away but the skin is so tender, I can't tell you the pain I feel when doing my business. I have tried vit e oil and A + D ointment. It's been almost a week now and its still very painful. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh I feel your pain! I thought I was the only one who had a bad reaction and was worried. I am still suffering, I have not seen a doctor because I would just die of embarrassment. I can only assume that the ACV burnt my skin and now it is so raw and painful and itchy, the skin is peeling off and so raw. I clean the area with hydrogen peroxide and tea tree oil as many times a day as i can, this seems to help. I then apply vit e oil, hoping it will heal, i think its healing, just very slowly. I have been boosting my immune system with echinacea and raw ginger and garlic and drinking ACV shots every day. I think people should be careful applying ACV to such sensitive skin for long periods of time. I am really regretting it. All I can say is good luck, hope u feel better soon.

It is healing really well now, hydrogen peroxide and vit e oil are the best, also raw garlic to fight infection. Hope those warts don't come back!!! Good luck everyone.

I have been using the ACV to treat my GW's and have been pretty pleased with the results almost all are GONE. However I am on my 5th day and have noticed my skin down there is really bumpy, has anyone else had this problem? The area isn't turning white with the ACV, so I don't think their warts but I'm not sure, possibly just irritation? Help!!! I soak a cotton ball and gauze and leave it on the area usually overnight.

Sounds like a burn. I suggest cleaning the area in question with hydrogen peroxide and let it rest for a day or two. Vitamin E or bacitracin if it starts to scab; especially if it's in a highly visible area.

I am amazed. A few months ago while showering I noticed a tiny bump on my outer southern region. I too thought it was an ingrown hair and thought it would go away - but in time it got a little bigger. In time I also noticed that I was itching a great deal down there. I was concerned. On Sunday I noticed another tiny bump higher up. Of course I freaked out - I was fairly certain now that I had an STD and was sure it was warts on my who-ha. OMG... what? Uuggghhh - disgusting. Who is ever going to want to touch me again now that I have a toady sex zone??? Disgusted & upset I came here. ACV seems to be the cure all for all ailments. Thank you all for posting your stories - it really does make one feel better and feel that there is hope to not continue having disgusting bumps on your privates.

I know exactly who gave it to me and at first I was quite upset... but he does not know he has it, does not have visible warts and a condom cannot prevent it. Coming here and reading the stories really made me see that just about anyone can get it and it does not mean that you are a dirty person or have to be promiscuous to contract it. Monday, I went out and purchased a fresh batch of ACV at the local co-op. Monday night I soaked up some cotton balls and tucked them into my Va-gi-gi folds - it stung a little but not much. I adhered a panty liner and went to bed. Yesterday - when I awoke I discovered I have a total of 3 and they were obvious and now more raised & greyish. I dabbed them with HP and then showered - blow dried not toweled -- dabbed again with HP then Q-tip dabbed with ACV. In the afternoon - I only misted some cotton balls with ACV and placed them down there again - this time the sting lasted much longer but subsided after 10 minutes. I left them there for a few hours. At this point I felt a little tender down there. I mixed up an oil in no specific quantity - just a mixture of castor, olive, Vit E & A, tea tree & thuja oils - I put that on. I always tell myself not to get aggressive with things - but GW - come on - I had a hard time not doing something every minute. I wanted them gone. Last night I took a bath and added about a 1/2 cup of ACV. Blow dried again - then HP dabbs followed by the cotton balls soaked - pressed into fold. I thought I was going to scream. When people say it stings --- IT STINGS... the only thing I could do was tell myself it is working - it is working. It is painful --- I am sensitive - I cannot lie - it really stings, burns - at least for me. The other thought I had was -- the pain I am feeling right now - is not worth the pleasure it took to get here. OWE. I think I lasted 1/2 hour then put my oil mix on again and all was good again.

So, I started Monday night. Today, Wednesday - to my amazement - they all washed off in the shower. I HP'ed them then put on my oil. My Va-gi-gi area is swollen - but it does not hurt - just slightly irritated but totally worth it. I am going to stop the ACV for a few days but continue with the HP and oil. I'm guessing in 3 days I will do an overnight with ACV and see if there are any. On a side note - I also decided to purchase a reusable douche (did I mention I am freaked out - who knows what's up there?) and started yesterday with a diluted ACV wash. I am actually praying it comes back negative - no hurt in hoping.

Okay I am back with an update. I have been using the acv treatment for about a week. I havnt been able to leave it on for more than an hour due to the burning. But I have to say that things are looking better. I did a double dose last night of acv, hp and tee tree oil. This morning when I woke up I had some bleeding so I know something is working. I am hopfull that i will be gw free in a couple of weeks. I am also duching with diluted acv and tee tree oil once a day. I have no idea if it is working but i have to try. I have also found a new remedie that i will try tonight. I found it online Oil of Oregano. I know that this heals most ailments when taken internally and it is pretty potent stuff. Has anyone else heard of this to treat warts? Like I said I dont know if it will work but this is what im going to do. Clean the infected area well with hp apply vitamin e on the surrounding skin then rub the oil of oregano on the wart itself let it be then apply tee tree oil to a cotton ball and leave over nite. I will update with my findings in a couple of days. Thanks to all!

ACV cured my genital warts.

I was very pleased to see a remedy on this site for my ailment. I had half heartedly tried a few things on my own with little results. coconut oil seemed to stunt the growth and soften them up a bit, but did nothing to cure me. I decided to try everything I saw here, because if you have them you just want them gone. So, this is what I did and it cured me.

I went to the store and bought raw ACV,hydrogen peroxide(3%), garlic pills,zinc and vit.C. I started taking the pills everyday, and the first night I rubbed the HP and ACV right on the warts with Q-tips. First I used the HP, right away it turned the warts white, then black. After that I rubbed the ACV on them and it burned! Then they bled. After this I put salve on them and left them alone.

I repeated this for about a week before they all fell off. I continued to use the ACV for about another week, and then just salve until the sores were healed. I also continued to take the garlic pills for about 2-3 more weeks, and the zink and vit.C every couple days.

During this process I also did urine therapy,and coconut oil which I believe also helped in the healing. Well this is what I did and it cured me of my warts. Its been almost a year and those warts are still gone. I do have a few small ones popping up, but now I know how to deal with them. I hope this has been helpful to you.

I have had GW for about 5 years now. I have had them removed both from my anal area and my shaft twice via laser surgery. They just kept coming back!! I went to a urologist who tried injections of intefreron-a which was expensive for weekly injections and also completely ineffective for me. I found this site two nights ago and began treating the areas with ACV. I soaked a panty liner and folded it to treat my anus and the flat cotton makeup remover pads taped to the base of my little man. I have also started drinking 3 onces a day to boot. So about a month ago I had a pap smear and it came back abnormal. I have never had an abnormal pap in my life and have two healthy children and have been married for 7 yrs. I am on day two of the treatment. I can only leave the cotton ball on for an hour tops but i have noticed the gw that i didnt know i had are coming off! However, my poor wings r very raw and swollen. I apply vitamin E oil to sooth. I also have started douching with dilluted acv since im sure they are on my cervix too and they are on the inside of my vagina.
I just want to thank everyone for sucking it up and posting their story, this is very humilliating and depressing and Im just glade there are others willing to share their story. I will keep an update in a couple of days. My advice for people like me is to not place blame on yourself or your partner. HPV is highly contagouse you can get it from sharing a towel, using the tanning beds. Dont give up hope there is help out there.

Hello all. This is a follow up to my original post on 10/20/08. ACV for GW's DOES WORK. I've had 5 GW's on my penis' shaft and scrotum; all are gone now. Hopefully they'll stay away too with my recent return to a healthy lifestyle of eating well and exercising. Though, I do have one HUGE piece of advice to all that are interested...

Each area that can have an outbreak of GW's is different. Some are very sensitive while others may be less so.

I STRONGLY recommend giving your skin a 24 break between treatments with ACV. Don't worry, It will still work. It will just help to prevent any scarring. Trust me... I was so eager to get rid of them upon first discovery that I treated 3 days in a row for about 10+ hours each day. Because of this I have a very visible white scar the size of a q-tip swab on my penis' shaft. I traded one temporary problem for a more permanent embarrassing one. It's like I have The Scarlet Letter on my penis now.

I've been putting Vitamin E on it daily and covering with a band-aid. The wound has healed but it is not getting any darker in color. In a few months I'll look into having it surgically removed via a plastic surgeon ($$$), if that's even an option. Whatever the case, I MUST do something to correct this.

Anyway...

I suggest the following regiment:

Day 1: At bed time, soak q-tip swab in ACV and apply to GW. Cover with band-aid. Remove after 8 hours.

Day 2: Let skin rest. Clean with Hydrogen Peroxide after showering.

Day 3: At bed time, soak q-tip swab in ACV and apply to GW. Cover with band-aid. Remove after 8 hours.

Day 4: Let skin rest. Clean with Hydrogen Peroxide after showering.

Day 5: Examine GW's.

If they are black or have begun to scab, immediately begin application of Vitamin E. Continue to apply Vitamin E for several days until GW is gone and skin is healed.

If GW is not black or scabbing, continue with ACV treatment as described in Day 1. Continue this treat/rest/examine cycle until GW is black or scabbing, then apply Vitamin as described above.

Firstly, thanks to all that have posted in here, your input was wonderful and gave me a very positive mind set to tackle the problem of Genital warts. Here is my story. Diagnosed one year ago with anal GW I was devastated. Not knowing much about the virus I was overcome with the reality that I had to tell my partner of 2 months that I had GW. After much hesitation I was coaxed by my new partner to tell him what was going on, he knew I had something on my mind so I told him. Being a very supportive type of guy he understood the situation and supported me through the initial shock of finding out I had GW. So, firstly the Doctor gave me a topical cream to try and sort the problem, did not work for me and the warts just got bigger. I had them burnt off with Cryotherapy, was a relief to see them disappear, but within a month they were back! With a vengeance! I noticed more than 5 re-appeared. Tired of visits to my local sexual health clinic (located in the most indiscreet position on the main street!), I was determined to find a natural cure. That is when I found this web site (yesterday). Anxious to try the ACV method I rushed to the store and got some cheap ACV and cotton buds. I used the cotton bud soaked in ACV method. Placed the soaked bud just inside my anus and went to bed, the pain was severe! but don't let that put you off, after 5 hours trying to sleep with the uncomfortable stinging I took the bud out and managed to sleep well through the night. I took a look in the mirror in the morning and I too had the warts turn white. Deciding to shower and clean the area I was AMAZED to find the warts coming off in fleshy bits as I washed. All cleaned I took another look in the mirror and most of the warts had disappeared! With only one application of ACV for 5 hours! I was STUNNED! Yes there was some bleeding of surrounding tissue and I have applied some antiseptic cream to ensure no infection will get into the abrasions. Next day began treament using ACV, three times daily with washes in between. noticed after 24 hours began going black, and today just over 48hrs since the beginning its has all but vanished..

continuing treament today to be sure.. moral of the story, this natural inexpensive treatment is bloody genius, with some positive thinking this embarassing problem can be sorted 'toute suite'

Thank you all for sharing your experiences, I noticed two days ago that I had a cluster of warts on my old fellow. I was shocked at the timing, given my girlfriend and I had just moved in together. 5 months earlier before we started dating I had 7 warts removed at a clinic in LA at $150 per wart it was not cheap but I wanted this over before starting a committed relationship!

I do not have medicare so wanted to avoid such an outrageous bill, then I found your site. I started treatment last night and this morning one of the smaller ones has already given up the fight!

I'm so grateful for all of you sharing, because of you I was able to have a very straight conversation with my girlfriend and turns out she had HPV before and understands. She is very supportive and understands that this is very common and to be safe will get checked as well.

Hello everyone. I am 37 yr old male. 6 yrs ago I found out that I had a wart on my anus. I have been prescribed aldara and it didn't work. All it did was eritate my skin and caused burning and itching and bleeding.. I was so tired of it that I scheduled surgery to get it off in december 2012. Today is dec. 10th 2012.. I have since cancelled my surgery so that I can get some advice from people with the same situation...

here goes, I have a very large wart on my anus.. It is the size of a half dollar , but is flat with flaps and kind of fat... It is redish not skin colored. And it itches and bleeds on occasion. Especially after doing #2 sometimes.. I just started using aloe vera gel a month ago.. I bought a mirror that I lay on the groung so that I can see it better.. When I squat down and look at it I notice a few areas of the wart are white.. I don't know if that is because the aloe vera gel is working slowly or not. ( what does it mean when it starts turning white).. soon I am going to try Apple Cider Vinegar for an hour or so at a time daily. Then wash. I have also bought tea tree oil, which I am going to use first with the aloe vera gel before using acv. I am really disgusted with myself. I had them burned off my happy stick in 1998 when I 1st got them.

Then in 2005 noticed it on my anus. Thought it was hemrhoids, but it wasn't.. I would like advice from people who have literally had them on the anus and what they did to remove them and what the process before and after were like for them... Today I am going to buy vitamins and healthier food.. Also going to buy vitamin e oil, castor oil, aspirin etc... Until I find a remedy that works for me...

Anyone who can help, please give me some advice.. These doctors never believe this stuff works. They would rather see money go in there pockets instead of a health store.. Being a guy I know EXACTLY how low you feel! I had the same problems years ago, came to this site, found a cure, tried it, and in a few days they started to fall off my anus with roots and all! I had a couple of them, and they have never returned.

Solution: apple cider vinegar! I kid you not.

Go read the testimonials here for genital warts involving ACV. All you have to do it place a moist cotton ball with ACV in the area at night time and sleep with it. It will burn you after a couple of days, so just step back and wait for it to heal, then over. Do this until it falls off. If the wart is big it may take a little longer. Mine turned black first, fell off after about a week, the root was white and it left a little hole in the area where it came from, which eventually healed with no scars.

Also, take a tablespoon of ACV in water twice a day in an empty stomach. Good luck!

Thanks for the info.. Can anyone tell me why the wart on my anus bleeds sometimes.. I use a aloe vera soaked cotton ball 3 to 4 times a day and tea tree oil at night.. I noticed some small parts of the wart are now white, but not falling off.. Also, after I take off the cotton ball to change it after a shower or using bathroom.. I notice brownish sometimes yellowish color on the cotton ball.. People say to try and keep it dry and warts thrive on moisture.. So how do you keep your anus dry.. The wart I have is very large and broke in 2.. I am going to try Apple Cider Vinegar and tea tree oil combo next.. I have been using aloe vera gel foe 6 weeks now. And tea tree oil at night for a week.. And no results.. The only thing I see is that it has a few parts that are white but not falling off... Any advice would be great.... I ain't getting results after 6 weeks.. I even take 1 a day mens pills... I eat alot of fruits and veggies and healthier to boost my immune system.. I smoke, but it's hard to quit.. need advice.. did anyone else take a few months to do these treatments...

Coconut oil kills HPV. The monolaurin in coconut oil is an anti-viral and can kill over a dozen viruses.

I first discovered a wart in the first week of September which was rather small. I assumed it was an 'aftershave' bump and squeezed it a few weeks later. It came back & eventually I self diagnosed myself w/ GW. I still went to the doc who gave me the options & I chose to have it frozen off to get rid right then & there. I was prescribed bactroban to help the healing, but to my disappointment another wart appeared a few weeks later. I then tried ACV and after 3 days the small wart was gone. But sadly enough another two weeks later either another small wart appeared on the same one came back that I did ACV on.

I knew it wasn't the first one because a big ugly scar is still there from the surgery. Has this happened to anyone? I know the ACV works but I wonder if I stopped treating it too soon ie. when the wart disappears (I've never seen it drop off like others have) is it safe to stop. After reading this website for a day i am grearing up to try this GW remover remedy. what do i have to lose. i have had HPV and GW for 6 years.and this is my story - when i fist had discovered it i was horrified, suicidal, depressed, i had to tell my boyfriend (now husband) he was understanding. i had one large wart that was on the opening of my vagina removed it was froze off by a dr it turned white and a few days later fell off never to return. but i have always wanted to have a end to this all. Once in awhile i freak out and think am i getting anew one but never did. i have not noticed anything on the outside of my vagina in 6 yrs just feels really bumpy on the inside. so i am wanting to try the tampon soaked in ACV overnight and see what happens. i did place a cotten ball on my perinm (however u spell it) area and nothing happened this was on for a hour and 15 minutes burned but nothing turned white or black maybe i have no GW there. who knows, i however will try this agian tonght after i shower again. Also i took 2 oz of ACV into a large glass of water and sipped it for an hour. yes it tasted bad but i figured if it is helping from the outside in why not the inside out for me. i'll beat these GW from both sides. I do not have any progress as i jsut started this all this morning but i will keep everyone posted on my progress i am bound and determined to get rid of theese things after 6 years and to help anyone with these is my goal.

ok so this is the second day of the ACV and i did a bit last night for 3 hrs burnt way more than the first time. ouch. so then again today at 1130 i did it again but could only stand it for 30 inutes. i have noticed that the bumps on the outside of my vagina are larger and pink not white but pink. i am going to do one more treatment now and then let it rest cause the area is a bit sensitive this will be the third application of the ACV to the same area i hope this does it for me. i will post tomorrow with more feedback.

ok so i did the third treatment to the area and it didn't turn the spots i wanted any different just the skin next to it burn really bad. so im going to stop this for a few days and then hit it again. not sure if i not getting the cotton on the right spot but i think im just irratating everything else this is frusterating but i am going to let it heal and try again later in a few days. so im not giving up just resting my sore crotch hahahahah! stay tuned peeps

I tried a cotton ball soaked in ACV on the area. I say area because I dont just have one wart I have a huge family of them right at the opening of my va-jay-jay and I feel like maybe mine is too bad for the ACV to help because everyone else seems to only have a few warts not big clusters. Anyway I did try it and it really hurt like hell but I stuck it out and left it on for a couple of hours a day for about three days but after three days I was so raw I couldnt do it again. That was about three weeks ago and I havent done it since. I douched with the ACV and It did help the ones inside but I havent relly noticed a difference in the ones around the opening except for a few days after the top layer of skin on some turned white and came off but thats about it. Maybe if I had continued with the treatments it would have done more but I was so raw and miserableI couldnt bring myself to do it again. I have a few ouestions if someone would PLEASE try to answer them for me any input would help because i am so sick and tired of this.It makes me feel dirty and I am married and my husband and I have always had a great sexlife but because of this I really dont him to see down there and im afraid it will hurt my marriage if I cant get rid of this. Anyway I have read where people drink the ACV and I tried it but I have a very sensitive stomach and couldnt hold it down but while I was at the drugstore getting all my other supplies I saw some ACV pills and I was just wondering if anyone else had tried them and if they are as strong as straight ACV and how many i should take at a time. Also is there any difference in the liquid garlic or the pills. My last question is about tea tree oil; is it just for soothing the area or will it help get rid of the warts. If anyone could answer these i would be extremly grateful.

I've been reading the posts on this page for the past weeks making sure that this would be the right choice. I'm convinced that it is. Im going to the doctor on friday so i'm not going to mess around down there until afterwards but I was wondering .... is leaving it on all night a good idea ... and second, for anyone of you that have done this, when was the last time you did it? has it been years or only months?
