Hi Ted!

I would just like to say how wonderful the site is.

About a year ago I started to search for natural cures for arthritis because my hips were giving me terrible pain and some pain in my knuckles as well. I am a male of 60 years with Muscular Dystrophy.

I started taking 2 tbs apple cider vinegar with 1/2 tsp of backing soda twice a day for 5 days on and 2 days off. I can say that today I am almost pain free. I have found that the Omega 369 has taken care of my suicidal depression, but one a day is all I can afford because our Government will not help me.

Your simple affordable remedy has saved my life because I can live more comfortably now. There was a story of a man of 53 found dead in his truck on day from carbon monoxide poisoning and I had been contemplating this method before I found Earth Clinic. Maybe if he had of known he would still be alive. No cuddo's for our gov.

God Bless you Ted.

Thank you so much for your help.

Blackstrap Molasses

I saw one comment from someone on blackstrap molasses for arthritis. I had been up every night in pain, particularly in one knee. The first day I ate 1 Tbs. of blackstrap molasses, and the pain was completely gone. I take it every day. If I go to bed and have a little pain in my knee, instead of pain medicine, I have another Tbs. of the molasses, and the pain subsides in 20 minutes. My uncle was a chiropractor who was into holistic medicine, and use to tell us that there are many benefits of Blackstrap molasses.

Apple Cider Vinegar, Epsom Salt Soaks

Arthritis in my hands and knuckles has been cured with tweezers and hundreds of days picking and soaking. It was so bad my thumb wouldn't even open. I had been a machinist, welder, gardener and hiker. Each of those pass-times had added foreign objects into my skin.

Burns, cuts, grinding sparks, splinters, thorns and thistles were all complicit in my hand injuries. My hands were very obviously tough, calloused and curled into claws. As a machinist I was proud of my tough man hands until they lost their ability to serve me.

Last year I decided to try to save them and have been soaking in vinegar water, Epsom salts and tweezing away the callouses. This revealed things underneath that could come out.

A year later and a thousand hours of soaking/tweezing the end is in sight. My thumb moves and the fingers are well on their way to being teenagers again.

So there is hope for others that feel they can profit from this path.

Niacin, Vitamin C, and Avoid Glyphosate

Although I've been very health conscious all of my life, including a diet which is mostly organic and vegetarian, I started to develop pain in the joints of my fingers, my knees and my neck. This was very frustrating to me, since I took a lot of pride in my health and my lifestyle. This wasn't supposed to happen to me.

Of course, most people told me that it was simply age that was causing this pain. I refused to accept that, since my Dad was still snow skiing at age 79. And my Dad was not really health conscious. The only difference between the two of us was that he lived in Switzerland, while I left Switzerland and had been living in the US for about 30 years.

So my intuition told me that it had something to do with the US food supply and/or water supply. By the way, the pain in my neck was really bad to the point I could barely move my head. I went to see a chiropractor, thinking I injured my neck exercising. Luckily, after a couple of sessions the chiropractor told me that it was probably arthritis. (of course, he too wrote it off to getting older).

I had previously read a couple of books and old studies on niacin and niacinamide (the form of niacin or Vitamin B3 that does not cause a flush when taken in large doses). So I knew that doctors in the past have cured all forms of arthritis with niacin. So I started taking 1500 mg Niacinamide with 1000 mg of vitamin C 2x daily. I started feeling better almost immediately but the pain didn't completely stop until about 2 weeks later.

I now take 1500 mg of Niacinamide and and 1000 mg of time released or liposomal vitamin C daily. I'm totally pain free.

Getting back to the difference in the food and water supplies between Switzerland, or Europe in general, and the USA. In Europe, GMO foods are illegal. But even more important, Europeans do not use glyphosate ("round up") as an herbicide.

Why is this important? Per Stephanie Seneff, researcher at MIT, glyphosate is responsible for a wide range of diseases in Americans. Glyphosate, which btw was derived from the Vietnam era "agent orange", is not only an herbicide but also an antibiotic, which means it wrecks havoc in your gut. Furthermore, glyphosate has a very similar molecular structure to the amino acid glycene. So in the production of proteins, glyphosate may inadvertently be substituted for glycene, producing defective proteins, which in turn cause all kinds of havoc to the body.

The bottom line is that glyphosate is responsible for widespread inflammation, including inflammation of the joints. So avoiding glyphosate is very important if you want to reduce or eliminate the cause of many forms of arthritis.

As a side note, not only do American farmers dump millions of tons of glyphosate on so called round-up ready GMO crops, but they use it for a totally unrelated purpose. They use it as a desiccant on wheat and other crops, right before harvest. (A desiccant dries the wheat, making it easier to harvest). So you get a really heavy dose of glyphosate when you eat bread or other wheat products. And this is also the reason, imo, that so many Americans claim to be gluten intolerant. It's not really the gluten but the glyphosate. That also explains why many Americans who visit Europe are able to eat the bread over there without any problems.

So in summary, if you want to get rid of arthritis, avoid glyphosate like the plague (only eat organic whenever possible), and supplement with Niacinamide and vitamin C. If your body is already saturated with glyphosate, bentonite clay and charcoal are great in eliminating toxins, including glyphosate.

I've been a wrench (mechanic) for nearly 40 years and over that time developed arthritis in my hands to the point that if I tried to make a fist, my knuckles weren't even visible. I started using the recommended dose for women several weeks ago and within the first week my knuckles became visible again and it hurt less to make a fist. Well now, I'd say most of the swelling is gone and the pain is not nearly what it once was.

I also had pain in my shoulders and neck from various injuries over the years and the pain seems to be lessened in those areas as well. My range of motion seems to be increasing week by week and I'm gonna stay on the borax for life as long as I see no adverse reactions, and so far, there have been absolutely none! I can't thank you enough for this website! Gonna try other remedies I find here as well!

Hi Schautzie, I hope you feel better today. I wanted to address your issues in a practical way so others may understand that without lifestyle changes, many of the natural therapies on this site, for the long term are band-AIDS. Mono-therapy is useless unless other health promotion activities are consistently in play. Here is where I would start. I use this list as my own personal health foundation. I'm a healthcare professional and understand, that without foundational changes, my efforts are useless.

1. Cut out ALL processed foods. Figure out what whole foods you enjoy - learn how to prepare them. Make it fun! Challenge yourself to learn how to prepare wholesome food.

2. Exercise 30 minutes a day. Do something you enjoy. Yoga, walking, Pilates. I enjoy my total gym 20 min a day plus high intensity interval training 3 times a week for 20 minutes.

3. No processed sugar. Period.

4. Find 3 or 4 medical/naturopathic MDs/NDs or researchers and follow their guidelines to help you develop your own personal wellness plan. I use Dr. Carolyn Dean, Dr. Andrew Saul, Dr. Mercola plus use nutritionfacts.org and the peoplespharmacy.com.

5. Get as many chemicals out of your house and use organic alternatives.

6. Use earthclinic.com as a place to ask questions to the life- long health experts and the world.

7. Be kind to yourself, but be real. self awareness is key.

Dear, this is just the beginning of your transformation to wellness! Write out your own personal wellness plan. You can do it!

Hi everyone at earthclinic! I am a 60 year male. I found your site after a search for arthritis and natural cures. I started taking the ACV and BS two months ago. It has significantly reduced the pain and swelling between my knuckles. My hips and knee pain are getting better and the food taste better as well. My energy has increased and I am not napping as much. I don't feel as cold anymore and no more shivers in bed. It has also helped my wife with her knees. I can't thank you enough for your wonderful natural cure. I almost got sold on the Swedish joint pain formula but I found your site and I am now saving my much needed money. Now I am going to start using the H202 inhalation method and I will let you know how that turns out. You are on my 649 list and you can hold me to that.

Milk
Posted by Mama to Many (TN) on 09/29/2022

Over the years I have read the pro and con arguments for milk consumption. Due to a dairy allergy, I have not consumed cow's milk for most of my adult life. My children also showed varying sensitivity to cow's milk when they were young, and it was just not something I served. 6 of my children are adults and none of my children have ever broken a bone.

My dad on the other hand, drank lots of milk his entire life. Probably raw milk as a child when he also consumed well water. Then pasteurized and city water as an adult. He broke a leg in a bad fall midlife. But as a senior he fell dozens of times, even in his 90's and the only thing he ever broke was his nose one time.

I really don't know what to think. I wonder if it is more complicated than just a one-to-one correlation. So many factors affect health, including genetics, nutrition, weight, exercise, hormones, stress etc.

I think one of the best things we can do for our health is to be optimistic. I recently read the story of Norman Cousins curing a crippling disease with laughter and Vitamin C.

A proverb that was written thousands of years ago is, "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones."

After I read about Norman Cousins, I looked up old Candid Camera episodes and laughed and laughed with my kids. Can't hurt. Might help!

Avocado

My dad has been suffering with arthritis of the lower spine and gout for 20 years. After eating a large amount of guacamole during football season, he noticed his pain was absent. After reading about the benefits of avocado, he began eating them regularly. Safe effect. For the past 10 years, he has been eating an avocado a day, and it has so much improved his back pain that he is able to jog at least 3 miles every day at 75. Fifteen years ago, the arthritis was so bad that he could no sit or walk without terrible pain. He wanted me to share that as long as he eats an avocado a day, his arthritis is kept at bay. He cures his gout with raspberries and cherries, fresh and also juiced.

Please, please share this information. My dad also tried ACV, but it did not help him with his lower back arthritis as much as the avocado has. For him, it is a miracle. Now that my mom is getting arthritis in her hips, she has started eating avocado too with the same results.

For those worried about the richness of avocados: If you eat a balanced, reasonable diet, you should not worry about the fat in Avocados. It is a good fat.

I have arthritic psoriasis for four years. The usual drugs that I had been taking did not help and I found from this website about taking ACV .

After a month of taking 3 tablespoons a day, I was able to do 25 squats at a time.

After 3 months, I was able to run a mile but at a slow pace.

After about three years, I also started taking three tablespoons of blackstrap molasses I could run down a flight of stairs without holding the rails.I will continue to take these to what further gains I will make in overcoming psoriasis.

I want to thank all the great advise that this E.Clinic has given me.

I had moderate pain in my joints and muscles for 4 months. For the last 3 days, I took 2 vitamin c capsules, 1,000mg each, morning and evening. Now 95% of my pain is gone. There is definitely a connection between Inflammation and vitamin c. I am a person who does not eat many fruits or vegetables, especially raw, to get my vitamin C..

At the age of 55, my joint pain was severe, after a MRI revealed that there was a bone spur in my knee and Arthritis everywhere, pain killers was the only option from the Doctor. I bought some Chanca Piedra to get rid of the bone spur. In two days, the 20 years of joint pain was gone. In a wellness checkup in spring of 2016, my Doctor asked what I was doing because my Cholesterol, blood pressure and A1C numbers were also back to normal. I have shared this with many friends and relatives and they also are pain free. There is a new arthritis supplements that has combined Chanca Piedra and Magnesium Chloride to beat this horrible illness!!

I too am amazed. After just three days of taking 2 teaspoons of molasses a day, I noticed my hands were lot less painful. Now after about a month there is rarely any pain at all, the awful grating noise in my thumb joints has practically disappeared and my hands look a lot less swollen and deformed. How does it work??!!

Cayenne

I read that cayenne pepper could alleviate excruciating pain of arthritis that I had in two fingers on my left hand. I'd awaken daily in pain to find my pinky and ring finger locked in a bent position and it would hurt very much to straighten. I would run hot water over them and it would get worse as weeks went on. I had been playing the piano several hours daily and most likely was the cause of this very painful arthritis, a common piano players ailment that if left unchecked would end my piano playing and use of two fingers. My fingers were dying it seemed. I met several ex-piano players who had exactly the same symptoms and quit playing because of the pain. Anyway, after reading Edgar Cayce's remedies with topical use of Castor Oil I thought it would be good to mix the Cayenne Pepper with Castor Oil so the mixture would stick to my fingers. So before bedtime, I'd take a paper hand towel and cut it to about 10x6 inches, wet it and squeeze excess water out until just very damp, then fold it to 10x2 (triple thick); now I'd mix some cayenne into some castor oil until very orangey/red and smear it on the first four inches (to cover both sides of fingers) of the paper towel and also smear some on my fingers; then I'd wrap my fingers with this bandage and excess paper, and finally a rubber band not too tight holding it all together. Every night I'd do this and take it off in the morning and there was noticeable reduction in pain immediately first day and more use of my fingers and after three months I was 80% normal and within nine months I was completely healed.

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

Hello everyone... I've been taking blackstrap molasses (2 tablspoons and warm water ) twice a day for about 3 weeks for arthritis in my hand. The pain has reduced to about 50% of what it was before, however I'm been somewhat nauseated and a couple dizzy spells last few days. Is this caused by the molasses or could I be having other issues? Has anyone else experienced this with the molasses? Thanks for your replies.
