I have been using Turmeric for my inflammation for 2 years now and swear by it. I have an autoimmune disease which causes a lot of inflammation. I take 1 tablespoon a day and it keeps my swelling way down.I am now goiter free and do not need thyroid removal surgery. If I go off of it the swelling picks back up and my goiter returns.I have taken it in capsule form or by mixing it with water and swallowing fast!

I use turmeric, it works like magic for me - I have Crohn's disease, and finds it helps ease inflammation. All the anti-inflammatory pills that the doctor gave me only made me MUCH worse. Turmeric helps stop the 'loose stools'.

Turmeric helped fix our Daughters troubles with her leaking heart valve.

Since birth our daughter has had a leaking heart valve, which she has been operated on when she was just 6 months, to save her life. For years all was well, but as she aged her valve began to leak more again. Our daughter lost her energy every year a little more. In the end just a little walk had her squat down to rest ever few hundreds meters. The doctor felt it was important to give her prescription medications to regain better heart function and hopefully some more energy.

However the heart medications, though they worked a little restoring her energy, made her very depressed nd she lost all enjoyment in life. So we began to look for alternatives to use and came upon a sufferer successfully who used turmeric as heart medication.

So we tried turmeric with a little black pepper, 1 tsp Turmeric with 1/20 pf tsp of black pepper, as well as the supplements CoQ10, Cardiochelate, and Colostrum, stopping her prescription medication.

Our daughter regain a lot of the energy and stamina she lost, and within days got over her depression, and now enjoys life again, every day, to the fullest.

The last two years or more I've been watching a mole like growth on my lower leg next to my calf. It didn't do much for a while but about six months ago it started to grow. It was about half inch across, maybe slightly less. It had a brown reddish dark hue. The texture was scaly and bumpy. Edges were irregular. It did have a more "round" shape. In short, it was the classic melanoma. I looked on the web and yes there it was in dozens of photos. An angry dark spot spreading out. I figured it was time to get to the Dermatologist but for some reason I held off. I started to take turmeric as a supplement in my morning smoothies. Intially I took turmeric as a cure for a severe case of diahrrea, which it cured almost instantly. After some more research I started taking it every day. After about a month I noticed that my small melanoma was changing. It was becoming lighter, the edges were turning into new skin. Now it's almost gone after three months. New skin has taken over most of it. There is only a small area in the original center left which won't be there long from the looks of it. I put a teaspoon of turmeric in my berrie smoothie, which hides the taste. I actually like the tast of it so for me it's not a problem.

Woah, I would hesitate to call "anything" a melanoma (which is an intensely quick-spreading and very deadly malignant tumor) which is not biopsied and diagnosed by a lab. If anyone has an irregular, multi-colored, and/or changing mole or dark spot on your skin, please see a doctor asap, as melanoma is one of the deadliest cancers. Take turmeric, if you want, but please do not blow off the doctor for any amount of time--this is a cancer that is extremely deadly and I would hate for someone to die because they followed the lead of someone who self-diagnosed that he had cancer, when, in fact, it was not confirmed. Most likely, what he had was not cancer, but you never know (and because it was not biopsied, we never will know). At the very least, be under a doctor's care and let him/her know that you want to try curcumin. But please do not blow off seeing a doctor if you have these symptoms.

I grind fresh home grown turmeric and eat about 20 grams a day. I also have malignant melanoma throughout my body. Turmeric is not stopping the spread of this disease. It may have some benefits but removal of my cancer is very questionable at least.

If you are still with us, there is new evidence that cancers are parasite-related; hence, the cure below is reputed to work.

The maximum amount of Ivermectin and quercetin, and drink, two drops of 12 percent of food grade peroxide, in 1000ml of water, a day. I have heard of people who have great success killing the cancer using this regime. Use as well as Turmeric. (i even heard some reports that people had to slow down taking Ivermectin, because their cancer died so fast, their body had problems dumping the toxins.

Blessings trying that.

Yes, I have read that curcumin kills cancer stem cells. I blend turmeric powder with coconut oil and even give it to my dogs for their joints.

I've also heard that apricot seeds, bitter, raw are also excellent for MM as well as putting H2O2 aka hydrogen peroxide straight on the lesion. As for the apricot seeds, start out with 5/dly and then extend up to 20 throughout the day.

Stop - this post is absolute madness. Site and link this new evidence you're referencing. Ivermectin and turmeric don't cure cancer. Your post is actually harmful and should be removed for deep misinformation.

During the first couple days, I get some really bad menstrual cramps. Mine are pretty miserable, to the point where I feel like throwing up and just lying down all day. I remembered that turmeric is used to alleviate menstrual cramps, so I added a tsp of turmeric to some warm milk, along with a bit of flaxseed oil (turmeric is fat-soluble) and some black pepper (increases absorption of curcumin in turmeric). I drank this all before I went to bed. The next morning, no more menstrual cramps! Try it!

Turmeric reduced my PMS symptoms substantially. I was born and raised in Central Java, Indonesia. In addition to the fact that turmeric has been used in cooking for many centuries, it is one of the common home-made herbal remedies for menstrual cramps.

This is the version that I used effectively on myself while living in Western countries where fresh turmeric root was not available:

1.Boil 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder in 1 to 2 cups of water.
2.Add lemon/lime juice.
3.Add honey (or sugar) to taste.
4. Drink this once a day.

Whenever I remembered to take this about 5 days before my menses, I had absolutely no discomfort whatsoever. And ... as a bonus, my complexion that turned itchy, bumpy and/or pimply before and during menstruation usually stayed smooth.

Now come to think of it, even though I am now post-menopausal, I probably will still benefit from this concoction. Thank you to all of those who write how turmeric root/powder cures other ailments such as colds.

I have really bad problems with menstrual cramps during my period. One day my sister suggested trying a spice called Turmeric to help relieve them. Saying she had read this on the internet somewhere. So I tried it. She was right. Mixing a teaspoon of Tumeric into a quarter cup of hot water and drinking it, followed by a small glass of milk (to help take the bitterness out of your mouth), relieves cramps in about ten minutes. I swear by it today and use it everytime I need relief.

I was diagnosed with MS in 2001 and it been a living nightmare. I did some research and I found Turmeric on the internet. I went to Outpost health store in Milwaukee. I am really shocked at my symptoms. They are not as bad as they were before. I am working out everyday and not having as many relapses as before. I feel better then every. I though a few months ago I was heading for a wheelchair. I take it with Organic Carrot Juice in the morning and occassionally I have it in some bottle water a few days a week. It works.

If you are still suffering from MS, per medicalmedium.com, the cause is from one of the herpes viruses. Get to know what things will bring you back to life if you can stand the fresh celery juice 16 oz every day(there is something called mineral salts clusters that does a great job killing the bug inside of you) plus eating all the anti-viral foods that will help as well, the idea is to STARVE the virus out. I tried for a year to drink that but just could not handle the taste and you have to drink it for 3-4 years. He tells you what to eat and what not to eat to starve that bug out of you. Most of our diseases are caused by viruses, bacteria, and heavy metals. Google medical medium cure for ________MS in your case, and it will go right into what you need to do. I always thought I had Lymes disease but 4 Lymes disease tests over the years always came up negative but I have every symptom of Lymes and I just read you can still have it with a negative test!! I just ordered from EBay under Herb Doc enough bottles of TEASEL tincture to kill the virus I have (that person cured his Lymes with this exact tincture so I would start with his EBay website HERB DOC). Medical Medium says MS, LYMES, HERPES, a lot of cancers are all from the same family. The guy that created this Teasel (a plant) had similar symptoms and he cured himself. I do not know if the Teasel will work you but I would try it for a year (he says you have to take it for 7.5 months and you take one drop the first day, 2 the 2nd day, 3rd day 3 drops and I believe to 9 drops but I need to confirm you then stay at 9 drops for the remainder of months) and see if you see a change but also add the protocol of Anthony William of making fresh celery juice and drinking that on an empty stomach plus the eating requirements. I have the herpes and what I think is Lymes and going to try this and see what it does (just ordered last night Nov 19,22). For herpes 1 I just read about pills called Herpesyl (all plant ingredients) Sweden folks have figured out how to kill 90% of herpes in mice but they are out about 3 years before finalization on studies (fredhutch.org). Turmeric fixed my daily, mediction hardy nausea in days, and my cluster headaches in just 14 days.

i have been using 1 tsp of Turmeric, with a little black, and Cheyenne pepper, 1/20 tsp, as well as Olive oil, 1 tbsp, mixed in a little warm water, twice a day, and have been completely cured of persistent, medical hardy nausea, from which I suffered daily for many years, up to 12 hours of each day.

Also my often severe cluster head aches, that came daily at the same time, lasting up to 6 hours, have been completely cured, using Turmeric for just a few weeks. (Each day, from day one, the pain became less severe, and the duration of the head aches shorter.)

Most tumeric stains can be removed with alcohol and a tissue/cotton ball; it quickly and easily removed stains on my skin, bathroom/kitchen sinks, countertops, stove, cutting board, floors, walls, etc (lol). Since tumeric likes to "get around", I dedicated a large cutting mat for all my "tumeric work", it helps!

Tumeric also makes a lovely dye/stain for Easter Eggs!

You can also add that Turmeric brings much relief from nausea, even better, for it is longer lasting, than Ginger.

I tried the recipe for turmeric tea with ginger and my sciatic pain subsided within a few minutes, not kidding! I didn't follow the recipe exactly. I had powdered turmeric but didn't have the powdered ginger so I used fresh ginger and no lemon. I microwaved the water in a Pyrex measuring cup along with the sliced ginger pieces, then added the turmeric and maple syrup, strained and drank. I didn't make it per cup as the recipe, but it worked. I will drink this every morning, as it is very difficult to get out of bed. I am so jazzed about this, woo hoo!

Tumeric for Sinus Infection: I am a big fan of turmeric and take it daily for my Crohn's Disease. I've recently had a cold that turned into a sinus infection. I try really hard to stay away from antibiotics because it kills the good bacteria in the gut. I put 1-2 tsp of turmeric in a bowl and poured almost boiling water over in. I then set the bowl in my lap and put a towel over my head. Breath (over the bowl with the towel over my head) in through my nose and out through my mouth for 10-15 minutes 6 times during through out the day. The next morning I woke up blowing the infection out of my nose. It was super gross. I continued the same thing the following day. I also drank lots of fluids and got plenty of rest.

Hi, I have been using few of Earth Clinic remedies for quite a long time now.

I would just like to add the following - brush your teeth with turmeric paste that you make/use as your face mask. Your teeth will be brighter/whiter as it gets rid of coffee/tee stains and your gums will benefit as well. Just leave it as long as you leave your face mask on.

Hi everyone, I'm another fan of turmeric! I started taking turmeric about two weeks ago for my acne, after I had tried strong antibiotics and salicylic acid in the past. I had large pimples on my face and back and often painful boils that lingered on for days. I'm delighted to say that my skin has cleared up completely- it's the first time I 've seen it like this in years!

I also read how turmeric cures allergies and hayfever and recommended it to my boyfriend and my housemate, who both suffer from hayfever. At first they didn't even want to hear about it, but now - guess what- they swear by it! It works for both of them and they've stopped taking their hayfever/ anti-histamine medicines. It does taste horrible though and after trial and error, the three of us are using the following recipe:

1 teaspoon turmeric diluted in 2 teaspoons olive oil (or whatever oil you want) and some warm water. Mix well and top up the glass with any kind of fruit juice. Drink with a straw.

This recipe makes drinking it a lot easier; we tried water and warm milk but it just won't go down- do give this a try, it makes the taste bearable.

I drink this every morning before breakfast for my skin and it works wonders! I see that there's no need for me to take more, so I just don't. However, with hayfever it's a different story. The other two people drink as much as they need throughout the day; my boyfriend is usually ok with 1-2 glasses per day, but my housemate needs more.

I think you just have to experiment until you find out what dosage works best for your particular needs. It definitely works though! Thank you so much Earth Clinic!!!
