Hydrogen Peroxide

I have acid reflux. I started taking 12% hydrogen peroxide food grade. I am currently taking 3/4 teaspoon in 32 ounces of water. This is the second time I am trying this. The first time I did this I got blisters in back of mouth and in throat. The same thing is happening again. I have had a burning mouth/throat for about ten years. When I take the hydrogen peroxide it seems to make my mouth burn more and then I get blisters. Is this caused by some infection that comes up from stomach? Should I continue with this? Will this subside as infection is attacked? Please give me some advice on this matter.

Thank-you, Dapper

I went through the complete hydrogen peroxide therapy regimen and have been on the maintenance dose for a few months. Has anybody had any problems with all-over body swelling while being on this therapy? I can hardly fit into my clothes, with no lifestyle/dietary changes. Very discouraging...

After reading a book on Hydrogen Peroxide, I decided to do the protocol described in the book. I made it all the way to 25 drops of 35% food grade H2O2 in eight ounces of water three times a day, then tapered down to three drops three times a day, the recommended maintenance dosage. The only problem I experienced was the bad taste of H2O2. I got around it by popping a small mint into my mouth, and holding it under my tongue for about thirty seconds immediately after drinking the solution. There is one thing I suspect most folks are overlooking: You need to use non-chlorinated water, so that rules out tap water almost everywhere. The book says distilled water is preferred. Fortunately, I bought a distiller about three years ago. Filtered water might be OK, depending on the minerals in the water, there could be a chemical reaction with the H2O2 that is highly volatile. The protocol got rid of more than one new basal-cell carcinoma that had appeared shortly after a dermatologist performed a biopsy on the first skin cancer I'd ever had in 89 years. You read that right--89 years! It also got rid of a Candida yeast infection on my skin (between my anus and my tailbone) that had plagued me for about ten years, AND the bright-red rosacea on my cheeks that a dermatologist told me 26 years ago was incurable! Speaking of skin cancer, there is a topical cream that works very well--IF YOU FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS PRECISELY. It is known as BCE5. Go to Google, and you'll find a ton of information, both positive and negative. I suspect most people who complain about BCE5 failed to follow directions.

This is in response to the lady who used HP--50/50 in her nebulizer machine & not the food grade either--the first time I read this I was having a hard time breathing that night from a cold and I have asthma & COPD so I tried what she suggested and I had to call an ambulance less than an hour later---it burned my lungs badly and I couldn't breathe--felt like I could get no air in my lungs--thought I was going to die--ambulance finally came and I was treated & ok now but don't believe everything other people have tried will work on you--in my case it had disastrous results!

Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda

I take the ACV for my PMS, and it works so well. However, what I notice is that I get a mild constipation - has anyone experienced this? I think it may be the baking soda (I use 1/4 tsp for 2 tbsl) and don't really want to stop it if I don't have to because I can't handle my PMS. The ACV has so many benefits - my skin is gorgeous and I don't break out in hormonal spots, and it really helps with extra things like gas and bloating.

I take primrose oil in the last 5 days to assist ACV during my period and it does help with the anxiety enormously. It's a truly wonderful combination...

It's a tough call - and I don't want to ruin my tooth enamel by not putting in the baking soda.

Any ideas?

Ted, I have tried OP 4 yrs ago and quit because after one month I suffered dramatic hair loss. I followed all directions to the T, I was a little bit down in the dumps and thought I could correct this situation my self, so I started taking food grade ( diluted of course ) Hydrogen Peroxide as per recomendations ( followed all directions ) and after a month my eyesight started to get very blurry and has gotten a little better but I now need to wear bifocals. I am just now feeling like asking some questions if I can change my situation for the better. Please help? Has some bacteria gotten dislodged and settled in my scalp and behind the eyes?

Hi my name is Janna and I'm greatly concerned about my children.

My children are 2 and 3 years old, that broke out in rashes on back above the buttocks. They both have severe food allergies to dairy, wheat, and sugar. (which this is how they break out when those foods are eaten). I'm trying to cleanse their bodies. Is it true this is a "die off" side effect, how long will this last? Also if I am feeling fatigued and yeast symptoms appearing after drinking 12 drops of h202, should I increase as to say it is cleansing the body? Thank you for any answers you have for our family. My hope is to cleanse, then build up with probiotics, and of course change diet to more of a plant based diet.

Thanks, Janna

Janna, a good book to read is by Dr. Natasha McBride, called "The Gut & Psychology Syndrome". To heal the food allergies, you will need to heal their guts first and then gradually put back in those foods.

She has some youtube videos as well you can research. I would not be giving my children anything that I am not sure of the effects of. Fine to give it to yourself but not small children (my opinion anyway).

The author talks about starting with homemade chicken broths (which contains all of vitamins and minerals (and is gentle on the stomach) and then moving on to other things. Just purging their stomachs is not going to help - and you have to be careful about them losing too many electrolytes which can be dangerous.

Better But With Side Effects

Hi. I have been taking h202 for a little under a year. my eyebrow (related to spleen, kidney) doesn't hurt as much and I dont feel that thud of pain on my lower back where liver kidney is.

I did the 21 days up and then ramp down to 3 drops of 35% solution. currently I'm on maintenance where I take it but I stop over the weekend as Ted suggested to give a break.

However this month I noticed that sometimes I get tingling .. Like electricity shocks inside my body. Is this related to h202 or something else? I haven't changed my diet (except that I"m accumulating money to fix my back). I don't usually get this at all.

i used hydrogen peroxide, 35% with 8 oz. of distilled water to drink for theraputic benefits. I started with 4 drops hp in water twice daily;increasing by 1 drop daily until I reached 11 drops. (then I stopped because of nausea). I used the hp full strength in the water because thats how I understood it to be used. Since I did this, my joints (shoulders, lower back, pelvis and knees)ache daily. What did I do wrong and can something be done to correct this?

Heya Earthclinic, when I take probiotics my sweat smells like bread dough or yeasty. And when I shower and stop the probiotics the smell is gone. Is this die off of candida?

Flaxseed Oil
Posted by Kathie (Houston, Tx/usa) on 07/19/2011

My 7 year old son has developed a small lump in one of his breasts and pubic hair on his testicles. He is thin and does not eat soy and eats organic meat and chicken. However he loves flax seed crackers and takes a flax oil supplement along with fish oil, co Q10 and a multi. (he has low level autisim and a ventriculir septil (sp??) deviation (a small hole in his heart).

As I have gotten closer to menopause, I have read that Flax oil is helpful to women wanting to balance their hormones. Could the flax oil be causing early puberty in my son? Any ideas on how to slow this down??? I have taken him off all flax!

I wanted to update my son's situation since I have taken him off of the flax oil and seeds. His breast is much smaller now and he has not grown any more pubic hair. I have also noticed that he does not have emotional outbursts like he used to have.

By the way, I think this post (along with the first post) should be posted under early puberty.

Better But With Side Effects

I am doing the HP oral therapy and did great--more energy, less pain, mental clarity--until I reached 21 drops 3x daily of 12% food grade, in distilled water. Then the horrible esophageal burning started! So I added 1/4 teaspoon baking soda in distilled water, directly after the HP. It helps some, but still the burning. Is there anything else I can do to rememdy this?

PLEASE NOTE: I had this same burning before starting the HP if I tried to eat fresh fruits/vegetables. Also, I have some fear that the HP will burn a hole in my stomach/esophagus. Any info would be much appreciated.

Please instruct me on where to get the kind of hydrogen peroxide you use and where to get it. I am in tremendous pain with severe fibro fog and I ll try anything to help. So glad I found this site. I may finally feel like living again! How do I take it? What else are you using for your pain and fog? thanks, Sarah

UPDATE: Day 13 and still hanging in there! Up to 11 drops 35% food grade H2O2 plus 1/4 - 1/2 tsp baking soda, 3x daily. For the most part, feeling GREAT!! I've had a few die-off effects, but not bad. The biggest problem is my blood sugar. I'm hypoglycemic and my blood sugar starts dropping about an hour before I can eat again :( There's just no getting around it, so I'm trying to work through it. I couldn't do it if I was working. But let me tell ya, my mind hasn't been this clear for as long as I can remember! AND very little, if any, pain! Woo hoo!! The other night, I was watching TV, and all of a sudden, my sinuses just opened up! I didn't even know they were blocked--never knew I coudn't take a deep breath! Pretty cool when it helps with problems you never even knew you had :) My husband is up to 15 drops 35% food grade H2O2, 3x daily, and doing GREAT!

UPDATE: My husband and I are on Day 21 and doing GREAT! I'm up to 20 drops, 3x daily, 35% Food Grade H2O2 in distilled water, he's on 23 drops of the same. My blood sugar is much better--really loading up on protein and restricting carbs almost completely. Not using as much baking soda now--don't use it every time I take the drops. Looking forward to making it to the 25-drop mark so we can start tapering down to the maintenance level. I get a lump in my throat every time I think about drinking this stuff, but it is SO worth it! This therapy has made a world of difference in our lives--both have a lot more energy and endurance for life. My husband used to be tired all the time, and now doesn't fall asleep on the couch every evening. Really enjoying the extra energy, mental clarity, and freedom from constant PAIN and depression!

Chromium and Vanadium

I took some chromium and vanadium since I eat a lot of sweets. A side effect was I had to keep waking up in the night to urinate and was very thirsty. I just didn't feel right either. After I ate somethign and got moving around I was ok. Needless to say, I stopped the chromium and vanadium and the side effect stopped. I know diabetics can get increased urination and thirst. Why did taking these substances seem to bring on a diabetic symptom? Did I not drink enough water to flsuh toxins? Is this just a cleaning or better to stop?

Chromium and Vanadium
Posted by Djh (Austin, Tx) on 07/17/2011

perhaps it was because you are not deficient in these minerals and when you added them it was too much. it is also possible that they lowered your blood sugar (in addition to the spiking and lowering going on from eating sugar) and that after the sugar wore off (higher BG) the minerals kicked in and made your blood sugar too low - so your body made more glucose which raised your BG and so you were thirsty and had to pee a lot.

i would stop taking them. I am a type 1 diabetic and also tried taking these (mostly chromium) and had increased hair fall and it did not help my blood sugar.

omg this just happened to me too but I was taking a low dose of chromium only. In fact, each time I take the chromium I repeatedly wake up in the middle of the night and have to urinate and I feel so thirsty, weak, faintish, lethargy, clammy but once I eat something I feel much better. Interesting to read the responses here and see some of us sweet tooths may not need chromium and it might have lowered our blood sugar too much. I thought since some of the symptoms were similar to diabetes that maybe it was flushing me out and I was having a healing crisis but I felt soooooooo bad until I ate. DgH could call, I think you nailed it! If anyone has any other info, please post. Thank you all!

Copper

I took 2 mg copper supplement to reverse grey hair and I feel nauseous. Google search said its a sign of too much copper or lack or zinc so too much copper or body can't handle copper because of some disorder like Wilson's Disease. What can I do to get copper to turn hair color back but not get sick? I didn't realize too much copper can hurt the liver. I didn't take much so maybe I need zinc then I can take the copper again? Its some good brand chelated copper. If my sick is not due to a zinc deficiency can I make liver stronger somehow? I must have copper deficiency because of all grey hair.

Check your B Vitamins.. Grey hair can be brought on by stress which depletes B viamins. Poor intestinal health and incomplete nutrient absorption all contribute to hair health. You could try a course of unsulphured Black Strap Molasses as it is a better balanced and natural selection of minerals for hair. Many people have success with this. Have a look at the testimonies here on Earth Clinic for Black Strap Molasses. I wouldn't embark on single mineral supplementation without a good deal of research. Best of luck

I read one of Ted's posts about taking Vanadium Sulfate to help lower blood sugar... I have been taking 200 grams a day not milligrams, but GRAMS. Since I've been taking it, I have been so dizzy, lethargic and weak... I have absolutely no energy, am fatigued... Good thing is though, that my Insomnia is gone and I have been sleeping like a rock!!!!! DOG TIRED!!! I've stopped taking the Vanadium Sulfate a week ago, but still have this fatigue and weakness... How do I get rid of it?? It's almost like Vertigo, but not quite... Maybe Hypoglycemia.... Help!

Posted by Kitty (Melbourne, Australia) on 11/14/2011

Why on earth would you take 200 grams of anything? That's just crazy! I hope you got proper medical assistance for this?

Sometimes humans tend to think "well if a little is good, then I'll take a lot and that will be better" - well this is just not the case! Just because something is natural, doesn't mean it can't have serious side effects.

To Joyce from Dallas, Tx - if you want to lower your blood sugar - there are several natural ways you can do this without getting too much and hurting yourself. One way is cinnamon. They sell tablets of 1000 mg. now and you can take one with each meal to lower your blood sugar. I would not take more than that unless you were eating a large amount of carbs.

The second way is to use an herb called gymnemma. It is a great herb in that it helps restore your pancreas. You can also take two to three a day safely.

The Last way you can lower your sugar naturally - besides exercise - is to eat a low carb - moderate protein diet.

BUT - the CAUTION is: Don't Over-do on the supplements. (You'll make yourself sicker) ~ AND - IF you are using Insulin - you Must keep tabs on your blood sugar - because these supplements will really bring your sugar DOWN pretty rapidly.

As for what you have now - you can drink hot lemonade two to three times a day for a couple of days and see if it will re-balance your body. It ususally works to clear you of anything that is upsetting your body. Do Not use Honey to sweeten it as it might cause you diarrhea. Good luck!

hi ted!

I've been using baking soda and Apple Cider Vinegar from last 10 days for my funtional cyst (1.7 and 1 cm in each ovary). Before that I was taking just Apple Cider Vinegar for 20 days. Now the problem is I am feeling dull pain in my stomach(upper) and sides of my core. I feel better when I lay down, cant walk or stand for very long. Is it because I am taking baking soda with acv? because there was no such pain when I was takng Apple Cider Vinegar alone.

Please reply soon, thank you so much.
