7 Natural Remedies for Cancer in Dogs and Cats

Holistic Vet Recommendations for Cancer

I just came back from my Homeopathic vet, and this is what she recommended for my dogs growth which could be cancer.... Essiac Tea twice a day, Vitamin A and D, liquid formula, once a day, and Calcarea Carbonica, once a week till the growth shrinks. We arent going to have a biopsy done, as this can irritate the cancer cells, and cause them to grow. But she said if she does have cancer this is what she recommends. And possibly surgery, since it hasnt gone to other parts of her body. She recommends lightly cooked meat, processed by Rayne. 1/8 teaspoon Tummeric for her 10 lbs, twice a day. Good luck to everyone, and keep your spirits up.

Colloidal Silver

I must share my experience with using colloidal silver for curing cancer.

My 16 year old dog, Flower, developed a bump on the back of her leg right above her paw. I watched it closely and over the last month it started to change, partly because it started to irritate her and she had been licking it. First, the fur came off, revealing a pink lump. Then the lump started to change. It quickly grew to twice its size and turned different colors, black, yellow and purple, and was developing a few new small bumps at the base of the original one.

So for the last 2 weeks I have been treating her with a high dose of colloidal silver, both orally on an empty stomach 3 to 4 times a day and spraying the area with colloidal silver every chance I could get (she'd see me coming with the spray bottle and would run away). Orally I gave her a tablespoon each time. Of course, the lump grew even larger and uglier with this attack. It even grew tentacle-like things out of the top. It looked very scary.

Anyway, long story short, it finally started to shrink and turned more black on top with the base being bright red. Yesterday, it was pretty shrivelled up and was just dangling by a small piece still attached, and this morning it has fallen off! The skin underneath is bright red and bleeding, but I consider that a good sign as the blood with help filter any remaining toxins from the site.

I will continue giving her silver orally every day and spraying the area with silver until it has totally healed, and maybe for a month or so after that.

Chaga Mushroom

I have used the mushroom chaga on my cat who was full of cancer and it worked. The belly of my cat was full of lesions and had no fur left on her belly. She was very thin and looked as if she was just days away form deaths door. I bought a can of fish and started mixing powered almond seed into the fish, and fed it to the cat everyday. Within a month the lesions were gone and her fur was starting to fill on her belly. She is completely healed now and back to full health.

Neoplasene
Posted by Nora (Georgia) on 07/05/2015

Important for all pet parents: there is a new alkaloid treatment for cancer called Neoplasene, made by a company who sells it to veterinarians, Buck Mountain Botanicals. This compound is available in an injectable form for external tumors like lymphomas, an oral form for internal tumors, and a salve. All three forms target only the cancer cells, there is no damage to healthy cells, unlike chemo and other conventional treatments which are harmful and hasten death. It's inexpensive. (You must have your vet order it, you cannot get it unless you have a DEA #.) If you go to their site you can read the technical papers and look at the photographs of tumors falling off and the skin and hair growing back! I am going to ask my vet for this for my cat with cancer, and try the oral form. This is a ray of hope for those of us too broke for conventional treatments, and who want to save our beloved pets the agony of cut/poison/burn.

There are other promising compounds if you do some research; IP6, Tim's Tonic (red clover), Pancreatrophin and Hoxley's.

Essiac Tea
Posted by Spectrekitty (Dallas, Tx) on 07/22/2015

The Essiac I bought was a bottled liquid called FlorEssence. As I said, it had the original 4 herbs in Essiac Tea, plus 4 more. The FlorEssence brand worked very well.

You can also get it in tea bags & brew your own, but I don't know how well that works.

I was buying shark cartilage powder, but then no one carried it any more, so I just had to buy it in capsules & dump them out into his baby food. The capsules weren't as good, because they didn't want to mix with the baby food the way the regular powder had.

The Essiac - we gave him in a syringe, about a half hour before his meal. We did this twice a day. For the last 3 years of his life, all he ate was Gerber's baby food meat. We'd mix the shark cartilage into it.

As to dosages, I can't really remember how much I gave him of what. He got other medicines, too, but he had several health conditions.

Hope this is helpful to somebody. I hate that there is something good out there, and no vet or people doctor would dream of recommending it. It's just a shame.

Good luck, all!

2 months ago, we sent our 11.5 year old cat to the vet as he was losing weight, not eating and looking very ill. The vet diagnosed him through x-rays and blood tests (low blood count - putting him under GA twice) as having a fast growing cancer that was stopping him from breathing properly. As this was spreading fast, we were advised to put him down. There was no way I was going to do this without a fight so my wife (who is a GP) and I spent 2 nights researching online and came up with the following treatment:

1) Morning: 1 ml of flaxseed oil, 2 ml of Essiac tea, 4 - 5 ml of a well known brand of chicken essence; 1 pippete (c. 2 ml) of liquid multivitamin (for babies); 1 tablet of transfer factor (we take the powder out of the capsule, put it onto a small spoon drop it into his mouth.
2) Noon: 1 ml of flaxseed oil, 2 ml Essiac tea and 4-5 ml chicken essence
3) 5:30/6pm: As for breakfast PLUS 1 x 5mg prednicare tablet to stimulate his appetite
4) 10:30/11pm: as per his Noon time treatment

We also gave him steamed (I avoid microwaving!) cod or coley fish (which we buy frozen from the supermarkets - so very convenient).

Within a week, he was much better and eating really well. He has put on weight; his coat is glossy; and is pretty sprightly for his age - well enough to get into a fight with our neighbourhood rogue cat which ended with him getting a bitten - and now infected ear which I am treating with tea tree oil.

By the way, we brought him to the vet a fortnight after starting his treatment and the vet sure was shocked by his recovery.

From next week, I intend to reduce his treatment to 3 times a day i.e. leaving out the noon feed.

If your cat (or dog?) is in a similar situation as my cat was, try out the above. Naturally, you may have to up the dose if it is a dog.

Essiac Tea

Cancer and Essiac Tea and FOCC (Flaxseed Oil and Cottage Cheese):

My boxer pit bull mix was diagnosed with osteosarcoma of his right shoulder last September. This is extremely metastastic and spreads to the lungs quickly, and in 95% of the cases, by the time of diagnosis it is already in the lungs. I initially did not amputate because he was 12-1/2 years and the vet said the prognosis was so poor. I immediately started him on 1 cup total a day of essiac tea (made by Resperin company, as research on internet said you should buy from the original company) and 1 cup total of cottage cheese a day mixed with 4 - 6 tbsp of fresh cold flaxseed oil a day, divided in 2 doses. He was still alive 5 months later which is almost impossible, but the bone tumor did not disappear and was causing him pain. I decided to amputate but docs wanted x-rays first to see if his lungs were full of cancer. There was NONE. He is a 3 legged, cancer free 13 year old happy dog today. The vets can't even explain it, and will not acknowledge it had anything to do with holistic treatments, only to say it is a fluke that it did not spread. They said he will at this point die of some other old age related dog disorder. :)

Colloidal Silver

Hi Bee,

I started out giving Flower a 15 ppm solution which was manufactured and sold by a local health food store and when I ran out of that, I started giving her a 10 ppm solution called Silver Sol by NOW Foods. That is also what is in the spray bottle. Just as an update, last night I had to bandage the site as it was still bleeding quite a bit. Looking at it this morning, some more tissue has sloughed off and the flesh is a bright healthy pink and smooth and clean. She is pretty low key today, but has been sleeping comfortably. She did accept some bone broth when offered. I hope that is helpful.

Sorry Nicole, for not responding sooner, but I do not have internet at home and due to the COVID restrictions have not been getting out and about. Anyway, to answer your question about dosage, Flower weighs about 70 lbs and I gave her 1 tablespoon 3 to 4 times a day orally and sprayed the lump with silver every chance I could. It took a few weeks before I saw any changes, and the lump got worse before it got better, but do not lose hope. Colloidal silver is very powerful and will help cure a lot of ailments. I am currently using it along with ACV to treat a rash of candida and it is doing wonders. I also have a very good friend whose naturopath prescribed colloidal silver 800 ppm (yes, that is correct, 800 ppm) to treat a bone marrow infection. You just have to keep it up until all signs and symptoms are gone. I hope that is helpful. Flower's Mom

Colloidal Copper, Pure Aspirin

An update on curing my dog's cancer, 3 vets said he would be dead in 3 days to 3 months, it has been over 3 months now and he is just fine.

I just used colloidal copper and pure asperin that I got from an animal feed store. Within only 2 weeks he was playing again like a puppy, he is 12 years old. The vet wanted to use chemo but I am not stupid, I know chemo kills more than it helps, natural cures work better.

Colloidal copper and pure aspirin, cured my dog's cancer. 3 different vets said he would die anywhere from 3 days to 3 months and wanted to do chemo on him and of course charge me a lot of money to kill him with it. So instead I used colloidal copper and pure aspirin, in days he picked up and in a few weeks was playing like a puppy, he is 11 or 12 years old and never wanted to play before.

Hi, 15months ago, I was told my Havanese of 11 years had a couple of weeks to live, 5 vets. He is a happy little guy with a growing tumor. With the help of a wonderful Holistic vet we changed diet and he is on herbs. Freeze dried "raw" food, turmeric, Six Gentle Pets, stasis breaker, vetasyl, lactulose, and four marvels. I give him organic pumpkin and feed him green beans and apples too. He never had surgery or chemo.

Himalayan Salts

I want to thank everybody for their helpful advice for Brutus.

I would like to share some vital information that I have stumbled upon in my search for answers. Brutus was neutered before he was 1 yr. old. When our animals are spayed and neutered they are stripped of their natural hormones that affect everything from bone marrow to bladder control. When humans have surgeries that diminish hormones, we are given necessary hormone treatments. Animals are not. All of the problems that Brutus is facing can be directly related to having no testosterone in his body for 12 years. Rimadyl is a hormone that stopped his pain but caused his incontinence. If Brutus was given testosterone at this stage he would be in extreme pain but the incontinence would stop. If you neuter your large, male dog when he's young, he will be over 50% more likely to develop osteosarcoma (deadly bone cancer) than male dogs that are not neutered! We put our animals through the torture of these operations because we've been convinced this is the best thing we can do for our beloved pets but these accepted, "standard" procedures strip them of the hormones they need. If you're thinking of getting your pet spayed or neutered, ask your vet about hormone treatments. I've never heard of any but maybe, if we're all aware, we will one day be able to change this barbaric treatment of our loved ones.

I would also like to let everybody know that since May 29, I have tried over 30 different supplements and remedies and I am finally seeing his cancerous forearm shrinking! Brutus now gets 1/4 tsp. Himalayan salt (unprocessed sea salt) in his water twice a day and a little sprinkle of it on 2 meals. His first salt water was given to him on Sun. July 14. His forearm looked like a baseball bat. It was huge, hard and no definition. Today, July 19, it has shrunk to less than half the size it was and you can see the definition again. I went to watercure2 that was referenced from earthclinic and I believe it's saving Brutus's life! It is also known to help arthritis and many other ailments. It's the least inexpensive thing and so easy! Brutus is walking better, his appetite is back and he's acting like himself again.

Thanks to earthclinic and all the caring people that tried to help Brutus.

Thank you fo posting your dogs results. I'll try it on mine! We adopted him from the Humane Society so he was already neutered. I've never heard of this correlation, I would seek hormonal help for him as long as it wouldn't cause cancer. Also, I used dmso for a tremendous sized tumor he had. I bought a new, natural bristled pastry brush (thought it best to use a food grade brush) and painted dmso liquid around the tumor. When It was removed, they were surprised it hadn't metastasized! I wasn't surprised. It has worked for me as well. Check it out.

Milk Thistle, Reishi Mushroom, Rooibos Tea

I have an 18 year old jack russel that was diagnosed with cancer in November 2011. She was very weak and little appetite with at least 5 visible tumors, the vet said the only option was to put her down. Sooner rather than later.

I visited a chinese herbalist who recommended I feed her milk thistle, reishi mushroom and a herbal tea high in antioxidants (rooibos), I started giving her 5 drops of reishi liquid extract and 100ml of strongly brewed rooibos tea along with the milk thistle.

I can't put into words but the results were simply miraculous. Her tumours shrank and her appetite increased tenfold. After three weeks there was no visible tumours, the vet couldn't believe it when the MRI scan came back clear. Just wanted to share my story and hopefully you can add this to the pet cancer section.

Essiac Tea, Supplements, Grinded Apricot Kernel

About four months ago, my 14-year-old cat was diagnosed with mammary cancer. Although her prognosis was poor, I declined any conventional treatment, and instead chose to try the natural remedies from this wonderful web site. First, I started giving her Essiac 4-herb supplements: capsules mixed in with food (1/2 cap. 3x day) and the Essiac concentrate diluted with a bit of boiling water (3:1) to evaporate the alcohol level. Both were purchased at herbal-healer.com and I am infinitely grateful to Gayle from Tulsa for sharing this remedy with all of us. I administered the Essiac concentrate, approx. 1/2 to 1 eye dropper full, once per day. Within a week, I observed a significant improvement in my cat's overall health. She has gained weight, became more energetic and playful. The most exciting change I have noticed happened within the past 2 weeks: my cat's tumor began to shrink in size! It was the size of a walnut and now I can barely feel it. However, I should point out that Essiac is not the only supplement I gave to my kitty (although I feel it was the most influential). Some of the other things I started giving her daily are: fish oil, astragalus capsules, beta glucans, milk thistle capsules... all approx. 1 capsule/day in several feedings. I also give her about 1/2 of a grinded apricot kernel per day- it should be initiated with an even smaller amount to avoid toxicity, and then gradually increased...(please research this remedy for yourself and administer very carefully to avoid possible side effects!) I want to also mention the importance of changing your cat's diet to a low-carb, high protein type. Two of my cat's favorites are EVO and Wellness. Lastly, to help my kitty heal, I've switched her from tap water to spring water (to which I regularly add a few drops of liquid stabilized oxygen) and her cat litter is now also the less toxic kind, called Swheat Scoop. The amount of all these vitamins, supplements, and herbs may seem overwhelming to you at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's actually quite doable... especially when it's your beloved pet's life that we are talking about!

My sister in law's cat was a very butch 'husky' male. Long hair, gorgeous. He suddenly lost half his weight and became very docile. SIL basically left him to die, but I had a soft spot for him, and took him to the vet. Liver cancer, he's got 6 weeks at best. Surgery was possible, but would cost $$$. SIL would never bother. I made a jug of water, 4 litres water and put one oz of 35% food grade H202. Put some of this solution in his drinking water daily. He began to throw up daily, but kept gaining weight! His fur became thick again, one happy fat kitty. I believe he was 'throwing up' the cancer in a healing crisis. Whatever he was throwing up, it didn't look like his food, and it was nasty. This was 6 months ago. He's just well again.

Frankenscense helped slow cancer down. We were told our dog had 9 months to live, and to give her radiation treatments. I had heard of Frankenscense given internally for cancer, so we started her on capsules with a few drops of Frankenscense mixed with olive oil and skipped the radiation, since it would have stressed her out too much. That was 17 months ago, and she is still with us. The frankenscense is very high quality that can be taken internally, not the aromatherapy kind.
