The blue cookies banner should appear once then disappear. It is very annoying for it to continue to take up so much of the page. It blocks too much.

Firefox does that sometimes. It's as if, despite a site being secure, either something in the site or the browser requires/demands permission to take down the browser's defenses before it will proceed.

Doesn't seem to be a way to determine if it's the site or the browser as one is seldom able to reproduce the issue in any browser. Which just makes it extra fishy.

As an internet/network security explorer, I have 5 different browsers. But none of them is Chrome and all I care about is a secure connection with banking or credit card activity. I'd be the absolute most boring person to track so I don't really care about that. I do keep logs and one of these days I'm going to invoice some folks for following me around at rates determined by ME but that would just be for fun. My rates are quite high.

Hi EC!

When logged in to EC today, I was trying to Reply to a post (https://answers.earthclinic.com/sudden-onset-arthritis-hands.html) and had checked the checkbox to "Would you like to be notified via email when someone replies to this thread?". This question is in red type.

However, when I clicked on "I Agree" (to post the reply), I was taken to a blank page with only this message, "We were not able to add it to your "Watched Posts".

Please advise.

I am unable the read comments on all ailments section. I checked remedies and pets sections and they are OK. Only on ailments section. The web page is shifting to the left when loading.....

Apologies for the inconvenience, but we made a slight adjustment to our design earlier today, which has unfortunately disrupted the layout on the first page of each ailment section. This issue does not affect subsequent pages (pages 2 and onwards). For an optimal viewing experience, we recommend using your mobile device to access the EC pages until we resolve this problem by the end of the weekend. Thank you for your understanding!

EC: Hi Anathea, thank you for alerting us to the issue about a sub-page with no posts. We've alerted the programmer to the issue. You can also view Bill's remedies by clicking on his name in another section on our table of contents box on either the right or left column in the meantime. Thanks, Art. Our fabulous programmer just added something to catch and flag a small font on a post. Hopefully, that will fix the issue in future posts. A smaller font typically happens if someone copies and pastes a sentence from another website or document. If you don't use Control SHIFT Paste, it will copy the code from the other source, sometimes causing an issue on the Earth Clinic side.

Hi Deirdre,

I have seen this small font occur on some of my posts and I don't think it is caused by me changing my font size, because when the reply window opens, all of the print that is already there is smaller than usual and everything I type goes in smaller also. It only happens once in awhile and usually gets corrected in time.

The small fonts I am seeing in recent longer posts utilizing a 24 inch monitor are hard to read and I have decided to skip those reads or I will strain my eyes further. I can only imagine attempting to read those post will a cell phone which would be impossible for me.

EC: Thank you for letting us know. There are a few people who send in posts using small fonts and we don't always catch it in the approval process. Fixed the 3 recent small font posts from Cheryl in NJ.

Hi EC!

When on the EC website on my iPhone, pressing the "Like" button (the heart) on posts removes prior "likes". The "Like" button works fine on a computer. Probably just a slight difference between platform code. Thanks!

My search was: neck pain remedy. I tried several times.

EC: On a desktop computer, "neck pain remedy" displayed a lot of results but it took a second or two for our database to collect the results. Please try again. We'll ask the programmer to add a spinning button so people know it's in progress. Thanks for the feedback!

I saw someone posted the same problem.

Does anyone else have this problem?

EC: Hi, can you please tell us what you searched for (exact phrase or topic)? That will be very helpful. We need to keep tweaking it when the key words don't display results Also, did you then try the Google link and get results? Thanks.

EC: Our programmer thinks it might be your cache. Please try clearing your history/cache or using a different browser. Let us know if it works!

Upon typing an ailment in SEARCH EARTH CLINIC, nothing pops up. Anyone else having problems with the site?

EC: We just tried the search box at the top and results popped up on our search terms. Sent your request to the programmer to check.
If anyone else is having this issue, please reply. If you are using something other than the search bar, please let us know.

Your site connections to other quit smoking sites is not good - fix https!!!!! people want trust and use your site!!!

EC: Hi Jeanette,

Are you referring to the automated Google ads that show up on the articles? Please send us a screenshot or the URL to the ad so we know what you are referring to and can block those ads from showing up on the site. We don't see any quit smoking ads. You can try clearing your history and cache and reloading Earth Clinic and see if that helps. Alternatively, view the site using a private/incognito window on your browser.
