I had Giardia Lamblia for 3 years!! Was on Flagyl a few times, which did NOTHING! Somebody told me about olive leaf extract and after 1 little bottle I got rid of it. It is amazing.

Re. distilled water possibly carrying the amoeba parasite, please note that taking food grade diatomaceous earth (DE) kills all kinds of parasites. Though gentle and effective in cleansing our intestines, DE is said to have microscopically sharp particles that puncture the shell of parasites -- it would be effective even on the shell of this amoeba cyst. Papaya seeds are indeed used by the natives here in the Philippines as purgative. I have seen some websites recommending that the seeds be air-dried and then pounded, but here in this country the natives just cut open a ripe papaya and then scoop up the seeds and swallow them whole. Chewing is not suggested as the seeds may be too bitter for one's taste.

I kept hearing on the net that everyone has parasites. I hadn't seen a reason to be concerned. I even got a lab test to see if I had any parasites when I had a health scare, just to cover all bases, and they said I had none. (Third time, third area, I found out those lab tests are not rocket science!)

When I heard how good cayenne pepper was for people, I started adding about 1 tsp per day to my Kombucha, not even thinking about parasites. In less than a week I saw these hard white rice-looking things in my stools. They were tapeworm parts!

I think Hulda Clark's protocol is good, but one can get the same ingredients more cheaply elsewhere. If you try to cleanse from parasites, expect to possibly feel not so hot at all at times, due to "die off." For some reason die off problems are not bad with tapeworms and/or cayenne only, though.

This webpage should mention that Pinworms cause anal itching. Pinworms cause itchy butt by depositing a gel around the anus, where they lay their eggs. Butt scratching is an important part of the pinworm lifecylce. If itchy butt wakes you up at night -- you probably have pinworms.

I struggled with anal itch for 10+ years, finding many remedies that cleared symptoms temporarily. I've also tried numerous 'parasite cleanse' remedies, including zapper. I was even tested for parasites and declared "clear". Yet, itching would recur, soon.

On a recent trip to India, I discussed my problem with an ayurvedic doctor who diagnosed me with "worms", and prescribed an ayurvedic deworm remedy (krimighnavatika) -- which I took for four months. After two months symptoms had mostly disappeared. This is the longest I had been without symptoms since I could remember. But the symptoms returned when I got off the medicine. I believe the doctor's diagnoses about "worms" to be correct... he told me that the longer I'd been infested (i.e. how many worms and eggs I have inside me) -- the longer I'd have to take the medicine. Four months was not enough.

This confirmed to me that I had worms that were not cleared by western style natural health parasite cleanse methods. I've lived and traveled extensively in Central America and in Asia, and I guess I have something from there that isn't seen that often in N.A. and Europe.

I could not afford to take the ayurvedic medicine indefinitely. Searching the internet for "deworm" remedies, I encountered a veternary sites that were discussing alternate therapies for worm infestations in livestock. In some searches, there was overlap in discussions between livestock and humans. Somewhere along the line, I ran across a site discussing MSM, administered in super doses causing a choking effect on worms.

That site recommended 5gm dissolved in a few ounces of water taken right before the main morning meal and again before the main evening meal. Then with those meals, 2 raw cloves of garlic, finely chopped, or crushed. (I butter a slice of bread, spread the garlic over the butter, and add a slice of cheese... yummy ... and a good antidote for the bitter MSM drink). Don't take more than 4 raw cloves per day -- too much will inflame your stomach and cause cramping. You can eat as much thoroughly cooked garlic as you want in addition to the raw garlic.

You stay on this regimen until symptoms subside, then slowly reduce the dose. MSM advocates recommend MSM be used daily (1gm) for health maintenance. Claims are made that it helps move blood to joints, hairs, and nails, and also lubricates cell linings allowing toxins to be more easily removed (which is how it clears worms). I can also claim that, at age 53, my beard has started growing faster, and much less hair falls out in the shower!

I have had astounding results with this method -- for the first few weeks there were worms appearing in my bowel movements every few days... about 4 different shapes. I haven't found any worm/parasite images anywhere on the internet to match them to. The most common type is not a worm at all, but looks like a tiny jellyfish, maybe 5mm across. I expect there's probably stuff I can't see coming out as well -- the ones I've seen are all white. I've only seen one mixed in with fecal matter. I hadn't had a worm show up in weeks, then this morning I had one about an inch long -- so it's still not over -- but I'm managing with out the ayurvedic medicine, and I'm happy about that.

While I used to be awoken at night by itching, now itch only occurs after a bm. But the degree of itching after BM has subsided considerably. I have also made significant lifestyle changes... Asian style hygiene in the bathroom (i.e. wipe with water) ... always brush fingers and under nails after using bathroom, and before handling food. Avoid handling food with hands, avoid touching face with hands.

I can say whatever I have is not communicable (unlike pinworms, which are easily transferred to anybody you touch with your hands)... been in two relationships during these years, and neither partner picked up my parasites.

This is inaccurate. DE dissects parasites in the gut and intestinal tracts and you do expel them in your stool if used correctly. You should take DE as soon as you are finished eating breakfast and dinner bc that is when the parasites come out to feed. If you take DE on an empty stomach, they will try and burrow deeper bc they are not feeding.

Hi Rob, I don't know what to make of some of your comments on here, but I would just like to say that if you research, you will find that there are MEDICAL DOCTORS that die from what they treat also. Like heart medical doctors that die from heart disease and cancer doctors that die of cancer. One thing that is for sure, we will all die someday of something. What it is will be determined. Anything you read you will find conflicting information on. Maybe Ms. Clark did die of cancer. So now she is labeled a Quack. So are the cancer doctors that have died of cancer, also quacks?

My belief is that if cancer is genetic, you are doomed anyway, But and this is a big but, if it is from toxic overload as alot of todays cancer are, then there are natural remedies that may cure these cancers. I am not trying to be ugly to you, I am just stating my opinion as I am sure you are.

The city I live in is downstream from a county that has a quarter of a million milk cows. I was having stomach issues for a few days when they announced on the radio that there was an outbreak of Cryptosporidium in our city. But they were saying that it was caused by unwashed lettuce and hamburger! I knew that was a lie; because of my food allergies I would have had to eat them outside of my home as they were things I ate infrequently. It took the city several weeks to tell the public that the infection was caused by the water they provide. I am using turpentine to kill parasites in the colon and microbes in body. I have started with a few drops 2x/week. I am interested in knowing what is the limit that a person should work up to? Some use turp with sugar, honey, oil. How would the difference in a carrier affect the use of turp on the body? Is there anything that needs to be considered as far as diet etc that would be helpful? Hi, Ben. I grew up in Johnson County! My experience: I got infected with pinworms a few years ago, and seem to have had them on and off (or flare-ups and asymptomatic?) ever since. The first few times I took Vormox, but I think I developed a tolerance to it. Or, as I've read, once you have worms, you can't get rid of them; you can only control them.

I already do apple cider vinegar (ACV) and occasionally raw garlic daily, and contrary to what I've read, they have no effect on my worms, so I got some diatomaceous earth (DE) and saved it for the next time I felt the unmistakable rectal itching.

Predictably, itching started, so I opened up the DE container and started right in with a Tbsp. a day mixed with fresh-squeezed OJ + my 2 tsp. ACV, and a little ground cloves sprinkled in. I put that in the freezer while I shower; I need it to be as cold as possible to counteract the vile taste. Post-shower, I add a dash of club soda and a couple of ice cubes, mix vigorously (the ingredients separate quickly), and start gulping*.

That regimen began two weeks ago. The acute symptoms have disappeared, but every 2-3 days I do feel itching. Hard to tell if it's “the one” or just my butt itching, but it's always in the same place. It's not the crazy-making itching; I scratch it with a cotton swap dipped in white petroleum jelly, and it stops. Sorry to get graphic, but we're here to talk about parasites.

So…I can't definitively say “DE and my troubles are over! ” like I've read in so many testimonials. I don't mind taking it when I'm symptomatic, but I really don't want to be taking it daily indefinitely.

*I've read not to use metal utensils with it, and I have been using metal. Anyone know if this renders it inert? Ditto for the putting it in the freezer?

I've had much success expelling parasites with papaya seeds. I buy fresh papayas and eat the seeds. I chew 1 to 2 teaspoons then swallow with water. I do this 3 times a day and continue for several weeks.

Using fresh ingredients is always better than encapsulated. For example, wormwood, black walnut and cloves are antiparasitic herbs but if they're not fresh, they won't work. For cloves, they must be fresh, non-irradiated. Usually organic cloves are non-irradiated but if it doesn't say on the bottle, ask to be sure. I grind them myself in a coffee grinder and put them in empty gelatin capsules.

I'm not sure I can go with the claim "If wormwood, black walnut, and cloves aren't fresh, they won't work". Tons of people all over this site have used those ingredients dried and had very good results.
