I don't like the taste of apple cider vinegar at all but I was in a automobile accident where I was rear ended and had seen accident a chiropractor for 3 years. I would get better than get worse. I don't know what was going on with that. Anyway, I stopped going to him about a month ago because I began to think that he was doing something to keep me coming back so I started to take the apple cider vinegar about a week ago I could not take it straight or with water so I tried it with grape juice it was the way for me.

I have been taking a tablespoon once a day but I am going to start to take it two times a day because it is working some for me so if I double that amount I feel as I will get faster results.

Dear Michael,

If you mean can you make your own turmeric capsules at home, yes. I have done so for years. It makes it quite inexpensive and you are assured of quality.

I bought a little capsule maker. It makes 24 at a time. I get organic turmeric root and empty capsules that fit the capsule maker. (I like the 00 kind as they are a bit larger. 5 capsules is about 1 teaspoon)

Once I fill the capsules, before putting the caps on, I use my pepper grinder to grind a bit of pepper into the capsules as the pepper is supposed to increase the effect of turmeric.

And yes, it helps with pain, inflammation, itching, infections. We use turmeric all the time.

Does it really help ease pain? I know you can buy the pills but they are so expensive.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Hi again Bonniebee, More on the pain treatment:-

! ) Take powdered Turmeric stirred up in a little water! Boil a cup full of water, let it go off the boil and add a teaspoon of Turmeric. Stir and allow to cool. If you like you can simmer that liquid for a few minutes (say 5 to 10). Allow to cool and you can add a little honey to taste if preferred. Don't boil the honey. Ginger could be included alongside the Turmeric as an extra. Pinch of Sea Salt or Black Pepper also.

2) Castor oil can be rubbed into your sore spots. Use old clothes/sheets/towels though as it is messy (but effective). It's even more effective if used with a hot water bottle as described on this site.

3) An Epsom Salts bath (or foot bath) again as described herein.

4) Serrapeptase (I have not tried this one but it can apparently be combined with an agent to increase absorption). Check it out as I have good reports for this when other treatments failed.

5) Magnesium Chloride for muscle spasms (taken with water). Very effective for that. Maybe spray the Magnesium on the skin and briefly and gently rub over.

6) Celery Juice or Cabbage juice

7) 2 cups Apple juice, 1 cup white Grape juice and half a cup of ACV. Mix up and keep in fridge. Take 2 ozs each day before meals.

8) A smoothie first thing in the morning to set you up. Use mostly vegetables esp. Cauliflower and Broccoli, as well as Carrots, Beetroot and Spinach etc. Less of the fruits as they can contain too much sugar (more than we realize). A few fruits are O.K. of course.

I hope you will choose to try out some of the above and get good results. It would be nice if you would keep us posted on your progress though.

Cheers, Michael

Well Bonniebee, the cause of pain is very tricky to identify, especially when it occurs in multiple locations in the body.

Your doctor may well be as confused as you are, lead you up the garden path, the wrong path, or most probably assert there is no path and just keep on taking the "tablets"!

I am tempted to refer you to my ground-breaking (ha ha) research, which you will find on this wonderful site under "Backpain (multiple remedies)" section. But then again, where would you start on that long journey! ?

1) You could consider Molasses as well as ACV, lemon and honey. Many folks have had good and rapid success with these two either separately or together (ACV/Molasses). I would take that in the morning, as you do already and another one at night, say up to one hour after your evening meal. I find that taking stuff immediately upon retiring is not always conducive to a good night's sleep-something many of us crave for and is frequently annoyingly elusive! Take with the tiniest dash of ground black pepper. Eat before seven p.m. and don't snack afterwards too. Self control is going to be key!

2) You could consider MSM dosing, but again NOT before bedtime or watch out! MSM is very popular and there is plenty of feedback here you should peruse. Start off very low (Americans tend to over-indulge/binge out in my experience- they wont print this bit!! ). Slowly increase the dosage till benefits occur. Be patient!

3) Mega dosing with Alfalfa herb is one exception I would make to the above unkind comment! I would consider that in special unresponsive cases but you need to see your Good Doctor before going there. May depend on the meds you are already on. A bit costly that one.

4) Alkalize the body long term, heavily reduce acidic foods and drink more water than you currently feel comfortable with. Gradually increase your consumption and add lemon or lime to make it palatable if required. Add a pinch of ground black pepper, sea salt or that millions of years old salt you have in Utah (it will probably come with a use by date on the label?! ) Cayenne pepper stirred into in a glass of warm water can have a quick, temporary result.

5) Apple Pectin

6) Avocado - a whole avocado each day.

7) Boswella Carterii / Devil's Claw

8)Ted's Borax Protocols (there are two and folks get confused but it is not rocket science-choose one of them).

9) A good quality vitamin C tablet once every three days is really important. Get a non-acidic one. You should follow the MSM with Vit C I reckon anyway if you choose to go down that road.

10) Ceylon/Sri Lankan Cinnamon and honey one or two doses per day.

You can get the amounts of all of the above by researching this Site. Gotta let you do some of the work!

Cheers and good luck.

Michael

I already take one TBLS of ACV with honey and lemon every morning in a glass of warm water, but it has not helped the pain in my head, neck and back. How much ACV can one take a day for pain? Would you recommend taking it again at bedtime (I have the most pain at night and I have been avoiding IBP and other NSaids after finding out how dangerous they can be.

Dear Michael,

Re: heating/steeping vrs. not..

I do think many herbs and remedies benefit from heating and time. Herbalist Susan Weed says that making Infusions (like a strong tea - you allow the herbs to steep a long time) lets the heat and time extract the properties from the herbs and saves your body the trouble. It makes sense to me!

Root herbs tend to do best with time and even boiling to extract the properties. So, in this, it makes sense that turmeric (since the root is used) would benefit from heat and time to extract the "goodies" from the herb.

I tend to buy empty capsules to make turmeric capsules or nettle leaf, or whatever. (I always know what is in them! ) While in many cases, teas may be better, practicality is often a driving factor. I can get a teenager to take a few capsules. Getting them to drink a couple of cups of tea is another matter. And homemade capsules have worked very well for us in so many cases.

I am happy to report that I have finally found a way to ingest turmeric without capsules. (Personally, I hate to swallow capsules.) I mix some turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, pepper and cardamom together and add it to warm almond milk with a little honey. I actually like the taste!

I trust your perseverance in finding a solution to your own pain and good sense of humor along with it will eventually bear fruit for you! Keep us posted!

This Turmeric conversation is fascinating me. I initially commenced taking Turmeric for pain by scattering the powder on my evening meal but after simply ages (weeks and weeks) of doing this I was getting no tangible results. I consciously commence remedies by taking small doses anyway but I was under-doing it obviously. One simply cannot get enough Turmeric that way. Next, we chucked some Turmeric powder into our rice at every meal consisting of rice (my Wife loves potatoes and I prefer rice), so that all our rice dishes and meals became so yellow that I thought all rice was naturally yellow after a while! Still nothing on the pain front....

Then I was told by my erstwhile Japanese friend to boil some water and then simmer the water with a teaspoon of Turmeric and one teaspoon of Ginger in it for ten minutes or so before letting it cool and consuming the filtered concoction with some honey to taste.

A posting on this Site claims that this dilutes the potency of the Turmeric rather than enhancing it. Rather than taking the Turmeric tablets, I shall persist with trying to find a palatable way of getting the benefits of the Turmeric Powder internally if I can. Am I complicating things un-necessarily I wonder? The tablet takers don't worry about the taste then? The boiling and steeping and standing of things interests me anyway.... as an aside! Increases potency or decreases potency? Someone should write the manual on this. I thought the "fillers" might make the tabs more "full" than the actual Turmeric - hence the quest to go "Au natural". More bang for my buck. I'm a bit of a scrooge that way: possibly to my detriment! However, I am taking a Multi-Vitamin, MSM, and Alfalfa tablets, alkalizing and oil pulling with Coconut oil. Also Ted's Borax regime for a few weeks now five days per week. We hope for progress but I have endured this malady for a few years now so, as one of our actresses famously said many years ago, "It won't happen over night but it will happen".

Good Day Tina.

Thanks for your thoughts on the Turmeric Pain Paste: most appreciated!

I have been a bit nervous of the DMSO but if that what it takes to get the "good stuff" deep down into where it will do some good, then I must consider it! It's my observation that, unfortunately, the body does not self-heal as easily or as quickly as one gets older, so it might need the DMSO to encourage that process along possibly-acting as a sort of catalyst? It concerns me that some folks who are unwilling to embark on a self-help journey may be imprisoned by their maladies un-necessarily? Maybe they just don't have the knowledge or the self-discipline to take those necessary steps on the path to a more pain-free world? That observation is partly why I like Earth Clinic so much. Often the visit to the doctor only leads to disappointment, frustration or anger or tick all of the above. I have a very sympathetic doctor who, to his credit, has admitted that they just don't have the answers to some conditions that plague millions of sufferers. "Just keep on taking the tablets". You would think they might be clever enough (humble enough?) to learn some wholesome, healing techniques. Being aware that too much specialized training narrows the mind, Mao used to send his Chinese engineers out into the country-side to actually build a dam with their bare hands! Shock horror! So, maybe not in my lifetime! Our (Kiwi) medical training is supposed to be World Class and no doubt it is: Kiwis are often pretty effective in their chosen fields (we "Punch above our weight"-ha) but the two best doctors I ever had were from the USA. - not sure which State they were from- you have SO MANY of them! There you go-a feather in your collective caps for y'all. Well done over there!

Well that is terrific Mama to Many. I was hoping you would reply. Your asset is knowing BOTH what to do and how to do it and explaining both parts so well. Oh dear that's three parts! However... I had been led to believe by my Japanese friend that the heating things up bit was an important component of the therapy . Much like those "Teas" that require you to "steep" them for a while for maximum efficacy or even some of your brews that require a period of standing / absorbing to work most effectively. We may benefit by allowing the chemistry to strut its stuff for a while prior to ingesting some of these substances possibly? Will keep you posted on progress if I gain any wisdom worth imparting! Thoughts on this? Cheers, and thanks again, Michael

Hi Michael, I use a similar type of paste for minor aches and pains but would be hard- pressed to give you an exact recipe. It's kind of of how I cook Indian food - a little bit of that, a dash of this, and a pinch of something else! Here's what I do: in a small clean glass bowl put in a quarter to half tea spoon coconut oil, one measuring of turmeric powder from my dash-sized spoon ( I got it from Amazon) a pinch of pepper and 3-4 drops of DSMO. Mix everything and apply to the area after making sure it is clean. Massage it in well and leave for a few hours or at least an hour. It disappears into the skin quickly and only the golden stain remains. I also only use organic coconut oil, turmeric and pepper. Hope this helps!

Dear Michael,

Usually when using turmeric topically as a paste, I just add the amount of oil needed to get it to the consistency I think will be easiest to work with. You only need a little bit of black pepper to go with the turmeric. For a teaspoon of turmeric, less than 1/16 teaspoon of black pepper. Black pepper is called out because the piperine in the black pepper is what supposedly increases the effectiveness of turmeric. (I have used turmeric with and without pepper and am not positive there is a huge difference, but I also respect the advice of herbalist Stephen Buhner, who is one who says to add the pepper.)

Cayenne is a common catalyst for herbs, and may help the turmeric, but it does not have the piperine in it, so the "help" from cayenne may not be quite the same mechanism. I will be interested to hear how the turmeric works for you topically. I use it topically for skin infections and such, but for pain, tend to take it internally. I have found it helps with nearly any condition that ends with "itis." (as in bursitis.) "Itis" means inflammation and turmeric is my "go to" for inflammation of any sort.

Hi there folks! Good New Year so far then? That's the ticket!

SO ....Turmeric powder, Black Pepper and EITHER Grape Seed oil OR Coconut oil and Water mixed together. Then gently heated up in a ceramic bowl till it forms a paste, allow to cool and smear on the annoying, affected part. That was what I was told to do for PAIN a good while ago but what are the amounts please? Was wondering if this one could be good for the Dreaded Bursitis also (now that's Painful)!

Thanks in anticipation for the correct quantities. Also, would one substitute Cayenne Pepper for Black Pepper or does it matter? So many questions...so little time...so little ready cash... so much to do!? Thank God for E.C. eh?

Serrapeptase
Posted by Timh (Ky) on 12/29/2016 2063 posts

Emma:

To my knowledge, Serrapetase is not a natural pain med. It seems obvious that you have chronic infections in your bones. The Serra temporarily destroys much of the bioplasma that acts as a natural barrier to protect infection. After taking Serra your immune system is allowed to kill infection, but is not enough as the infection is advanced. I would recommend following the Serra with Berberine. Ted's Borax protocol would also help your situation. Magnet Therapy is very effective at removing local infection & inflammation (which is the cause of pain). Following Magnet Therapy, place Salonpas on the affected area (your knee & hip) to further eradicate infection.

I have had chronic pain from fibromyalgia, and bone-on-bone in left knee for 11 years. With the fibro, it used to hurt just to move or try and get out of bed. Excruciating to try and turn over in bed at night, and could barely walk during waking hours. Couldn't straighten up due to hip pain and all. Well, not anymore. Serrapeptase has literally given me a new lease on life. I also take MSM faithfully. No pain at night anymore. Talk about relief!! Immediate relief with the Serrapeptase, especially. Every bone in my body hurt before taking that. I thank God for it! You won't be sorry if you try these. I've recently added ACV and use either honey or Stevia to tame the taste. Makes it pleasant to taste and still does the job. Hope this helps someone. I'll never be without any of these.

Siphoning Energy Technique

To alieve pain from a burn, a technique called siphoning. Put your left hand (it must be the LEFT hand) -- on, over, or near the site of a burn. In my case, it was three square inches of a burn from boiling liquid. Then I put my RIGHT hand in a position that was below the left hand, on the right side of my body. In less than a minute, the pain from the burn lessened -- and was largely gone in a few more minutes. I learned this in an energy medicine class and from my Eden energy practitioner. I was amazed at how prompt the healing was in this instance.

Black Seed and Olive Oils

My mother has suffered from back, knee and body pain for more than 10yrs. She had to have surgery on her back 7years ago to ease the pain and she was fine for a few years. She recently began to get the pains again and this time she had knee swelling as well. She would wake up at night very sad and in pains. Sometimes she would shed a few tears of frustration as she didn't want to have another surgery.

One night, unable to sleep from the pain, she suddenly remembered that a neighbour had once told her about a boy who had leg swellings that defied conventional medicine so his family decided to mix equal parts olive oil and black seed oil and rubbed on his swollen legs and he was healed. My mother remembered she had both oils on her dressing table so she got some, mixed and rubbed on her her and knees. WOW! She said that the relief was almost immediate. She said she was asleep in less than half and hour and even over slept the next morning! She hasn't looked back since.

She told me this and I was happy for her but didn't really think about it until I also had serious back and leg pain from walking around so much and lifting heavy suitcases while on a holiday. Things got so bad that I would toss and turn for hours before I could sleep. Then I remembered my mother's remedy and went out to but the two oils the very next day and mixed them in equal parts. Again...WOW! I rubbed it on my back, legs and knees and slept off. I didn't even think about it the next day until around 10pm when I started getting agitated over the prospect of tossing and turning in bed and it suddenly dawned on me that I hadn't spared a thought to my back and knees all day!!! My husband told me that he had been meaning to tell me that I didn't turn or toss AT ALL when I slept that night before and he was pleasantly surprised. I have used it since then too and have been very satisfied.

My husband used the mixture on his swollen calf two days ago and the pain and swelling was down by half after just a few hours. As of this evening, all swelling is gone and the pain is less than 10%. Just google Black Seed oil and its benefits. Its available in most health store. It's an ancient Aran/Asian medicinal oil.

Sea Salt and Water

I'm wanting to report the experience I had from using sea salt and water. I'm wanting to add this here because I've read of so many others on here with the same kind of issues I was having.

For years I would get up in the morning stiff and sore, with my whole body aching, I use to get up 2 hours early to get myself warmed up for the day. My hands where so sore that the pain is usually what woke me up in the mornings. Then I would have to crawl around and start working my body so I could get my legs on the floor. I was so stiff in the morning and the pain was immense, I used MSM and have tried a lot of other stuff to make my life easier. The msm did help but there was always a level of pain and stiffness that never left. I saw the site watercure2.org that talked about taking sea salt and drinking water and how it had helped a lot of people. I went to the site and read a lot of information about it. I was leary about the drinking water part as I had already tried drinking tons of water of various forms with no help.

I decided to try the formula suggested, 1/8 of a teaspoon of sea salt to 16 ounces of water. Take your body weight and divide it in half and change the answer into ounces of water you need to drink each day. So at the time I weight 190 lbs so I needed to drink 95 ounces of water in a day along with the 1/8 of a teaspoon sea salt. I divided the 95 by 6 so I would drink around 15 ounces of water 6 times a day along with 1/8th of a teaspoon of sea salt which I would just put on my tongue as suggested on the site and wash it down with the water.

I started slow so the first day I only did it once, then the second day I did it twice and so on only for the first week I only drank the 15 ounces of water and 1/8th of a teaspoon 3 times a day. I started on Tuesday and on Sunday morning, after only 5 days of sea salt and water, I woke up with hardly any pain in my hands, I was then able to jump out of bed and get going right away. It was so remarkable for me that I have been using sea salt and water ever since.

That was on Sun, 31 Jan 2010 when I had my experience with this. I have since recovered from a lot of other issues. I had acid reflux which I no longer need any medicine for. I quit wearing glasses after about 3 months using sea salt and water. I still have some issues but I have to say that this gave me my life back. I have more energy and can still out work people half my age. I use to be a truck driver, cowboy, and heavy duty mechanic. My body has been beat up pretty bad over the years between the rough kind of work I used to do along with several car accidents and work injuries that layed me up for long periods of time. I was thinking I was getting old when I was about 45, something I don't believe in, but it was happening to me.

While the sea salt and water helped me with a lot of issues it didn't fix everything. I am taking msm, niacin, and collagen for my joints as I seem to have damaged them. I have tweaked onto the boron today so will be adding this to the regime as I know I'm still missing something. I am confident that this will be the icing on the cake. Good luck to everyone and I hope this little bit will help some people out there.

P.S. I can also eat radishes and cucumbers now, something I had to give up years ago.

I had a pain on one hip and it was now starting on the other side. This pain was only there about two days when product arrived. I took a capsule 400mg in the morning and evening. The pain left right away. ln the middle of the day it tried to come back, but when I got home I took the second capsules and the pain has not returned. I will tell you this carry water with you the Olive leaf extract made me desert thirsty. It is like taking a water pill so be ready to run. I can say it healed before I knew what was wrong.

I just want to suggest that you read up on Olive Leaf and start with a low dose oleuropein percentage, I ordered a low dose by accident. it was 400 mg Olive Leave but about 1 percent oleuropein. Don't laugh, it worked. The strong dose is 20 percent oleuropein - work your way up. Oleuropein is what they say is the healing agent in Olive Leaf. You can aways by the liquid and start off with a few drops at a time to avoid a negative experience.

I started taking a supplement called MSM and within three weeks the pain in my thumbs and leg was gone. I have been taking it for five years now and find that even when I work in the yard doing heavy lifting the pain that I would have normaly have gotten from doing this is no longer a problem.

Thank you for this site, I came here to try and help my honey with her RLS and we will try the bar of soap tonight.

I am 68 and feel better than I have for most of my life. I pray that this helps even if it is only one.

P.S. I take 1 MSM in the morning and 1 at dinner time.

When you use MahaNarayan Oil, other items are not necessary. But with plain sesame oil one could include Amala and or Turmeric at special times. Both these are also taken internally as you know. Honey is also a help with bitter meds.

For exfoliation it seems best after a bath and then showering. It is great for skin care and circulation. For self massage you could use also circular method with long strokes along the legs, for example. Doesn't everybody like a full massage . It is heavenly.

Amala can be included in shampoos. Wait a while when you are doing something else, then rinse.

I take both Amala and Turmeric at least twice a week to keep tissue elastic and for the many benefits. But as for all regimens one should introduce a week's pause as Ted on EC also suggests. But as in foods, I take it every time it is called for.

I hope I have answered your questions and I wish you the enjoyment of radiant health.

I agree about the transdermal magnesium, and have been using it for a couple of years. Magnesium saturated baths are my favorite. I believe most any and every one will greatly benefit from more magnesium. Your other suggestions are new to me... and they sound wonderful! I'm only wishing I had someone who could do the oiling for me! (wink) Is the idea of oiling to incorporate a self massage? I'm envisioning a Swedish style with long brisk upward strokes. Should the amla and turmeric be added to the oil for oiling, or should we take it internally? Is the exfoliation done dry / before bathing, or wet / after soaking? Sorry for all the questions!

Avielle, Santa Clara, CA ---

I am glad you found the post useful. For vitiated vata, regular oiling with MahaNarayan oil, or if not available, pure cold pressed sesame oil . You could enquire in an Indian grocery store or find a wholesaler (which I have done) that sells Ayurvedic meds, or online. MahaNaryan oil is sesame oil with added minerals. So if you use that, always shake the bottle as the minerals collect at the bottom. I have used this for many years as Vata constitution requires oiling regularly to keep skin youthfull and soft. For plugged pores etc. always do exfoliation with oatmeal, turmeric and a little coconut oil to hold it together. I myself do UT (urine theraphy) externally and internally and my skin is perfect.

The things I do for legs in particular, is hydro therapy. Before bed fill a tall bucket with cold water and do water treading for at least two minutes. Do not dry and put on warm socks and you will sleep well. This sees to good blood circulation. Your legs will warm up while covered by the bedding. Also remember to water tread up to at least half of your calves.

Do oiling as often as you can as this also addresses circulation and helps with good quality sleep and improved skin.

Both turmeric with some oil and Amala (vit C) do marvellous things for health especially since Turmeric nourishes muscles and ligaments in particular beside numerous other benefits.

While Ayurveda always works with the individual doshas, once one reaches fifty, the major treatment will be for vata.

Overriding all these treatments is topical application (transdermal) of Magnesium oil which seems to be the underlying cause for all the twitches, etc. Which is a real art to fit all this in.

I hope this is not too overwhelming. All the best.

Namaste, Om

I am quite amazed. I have been taking Turmeric for umpteen years but now that an old injury started to cause bad pain from hip to ankle and did not go away, I found a very tasty drink which made it disappear. I had to repeat it about three days after the first drink. It is so good tasting and healthy --- so here it is:

  • 3" piece root of ginger or 2 tblsp. powder.
  • The root can be juiced or slices simmered for short time in a very small amount of water.
  • 4" piece of turmeric root OR 2 tsp. powder.
  • Juice of 3 lemons, organic if possible and utilize the skin for other uses.
  • dash cayenne
  • 4 cups coconut water. Watch what quality
  • Raw honey to taste, not heated but warmed in a small glass inside a pot with warm water off the heat.

Store in fridge up to three days.

This is a refreshing drink. But any similar drink with turmeric will be good, too.

MahaNarayan oil on alternative days will also help a great deal for treatment of pain.

Healing PORES on bottom of feet....Y E S, Amen!

I got the large bandaids( that have the tape part all around the edges of the cloth part) and put coconut oil on the cotton part and sprinkled activated charcoal powder on top of the oil and put on bottoms of my feet and went to bed. I also ate a capsule of activated charcoal at bedtime for a couple weeks.

In the morning all the pain in my feet I had for over a year was gone and that was three weeks ago and it hasn't returned. Ankles feel so nice now. They were miserable

A follow up on my back muscle pain. I am using essential oils of Peppermint and then DMSO gel 99.9 pure on the lower back. The spasms are greatly reduced this morning. I worked yesterday and moved about. This morning I still had some discomfort but an application of those two things has worked wonderfully. Hi Dave...Dr William Kelly was very successful against cancer and Nick Gonzales has been just as succesful. I read somewhere that in Nick's Metabolic Protocol for cancer, his patients take between 150 to 170 pills a day, as well as diet, enemas etc. In Max Gerson's cancer protocol, his cure appeared to be almost solely based on defending the liver at all costs -- by getting all the poisons and toxins out of the body as fast as possible using both the coffee enemas and castor oil laxatives at the same time (thus avoiding re-absorption and redistribution of both cancer toxins and heavy metals via the colon). For each cancer patient (all of them usually with Stage 4 cancer where the doctors had already given up hope), Gerson gave them 4 enemas a day and 4 enemas during the sleeping hours. That's 8 enemas every 24 hours!! Interestingly, Max Gerson originally started curing people of TB in 1928 with this protocol. Then, so the story goes, someone aproached him desperate to try his therapy for someone in the familly with cancer in the 1930s and his protocol worked -- and the rest is history.

Gerson's strategy of always protecting the liver is therefore pretty logical. Walter Last has written about pleomorphic microbes and describes his own belief that, especially in chronic autoimmune diseases, we have a sludge build-up in our blood(as we get older) that cannot be cleared -- so it never goes away but just keeps building up. It is here that this sludge -- which contains bits of proteins, DNA and RNA -- can suddenly develop on their own to become viruses. Depending on the state of the body at the time, these new dangerous pathogens will simply adapt and change into viruses, bacteria or fungus as their living medium(the host body) demands and end up causing or contributing to our vast array of idiopathic and autoimmune diseases that we have today. See Walter Last's detailed article here.

So this is where protease enzymes and other useful and helpful liver protocols(such as the coffee enema, ALA, Milk Thistle, Selenium, MSM etc) will help to clear these toxins, heavy metals, proteins and sludge from the blood.

Doctors are completely unable to cure autoimmune diseases because they think like this: One Disease -- One Germ -- One Cure. How wrong or dumb can they be ? Their strategy and treatment for any chronic auto-immune disease is always palliative -- just treat the symptoms. So its a fail for them in my book.

That's why treatments like CS or MMS or Hydrogen Peroxide are so useful -- they kill a wide range of pathogens in the blood.

Of all the high, respected professions in this world, I find it most peculiar that being a doctor is NOT a performance related profession (in terms of lives saved or improved). If modern medicine were indeed performance related then I'm pretty sure that there would be alot of doctors and specialists who would be jobless out on the street mumbling, "...But I was following the Standard of Care Manual...Honest!! ...And they still died!! ". I guess doctoring is no longer a free-thinking, common sense profession anymore. And, of course, DO NO HARM doesn't enter into any part of the equation now where another drug sale is involved.

Sorry, ranting a bit...

Hello again Bill,

Thank you for the update on the "hip" issue.

About the enemas .... Dr. Nick Gonzales (MD) in Manhattan, the renowned cancer doctor, has enemas as a major part of his anti cancer protocol. That comes from his mentor under whom he studies; Dr William Kelley (who was a dentist but developed Dr Beard's ideas about the use of the enzyme "pancreatin"...). But his are all coffee enemas so interesting the many variations you are going to use. Looking forward to the outcome.

Your student,

dave

Hi Dave...I always appreciate comments and new ideas -- thanks for your input.

Well, my strange hip problem appears to be rapidly receding. I seems to be clear of the shooting pains now although the compression feeling in the left hip region is still there(but fading too). I doubled my dose of Organic Brewer's Yeast a couple of days ago to two tablespoons and this seems to have greatly helped. Brewer's Yeast contains all sorts of other heavyweight nutrient goodies besides the B vitamins including Selenium, Coenzyme Q10 and beta glucan. And Brewer's Yeast is cheap as well as natural.

I also sometimes get the leg cramps that you mention -- at night mostly -- and I know that this problem for me is mainly due to a lack of potassium/magnesium. I usually get the leg cramps after taking turpentine or Makabuhay(Tinospora cordifolia) because these two protocols have diuretic action -- they remove water and minerals from the body and I always forget to add minerals into these protocols.

I always read your comments on using Colloidal Silver. This is a most useful protocol for any blood infections like you have said. I haven't been able to find any CS in the Philippines yet but I will probably be buying some again off the internet soon. For now, I just rely on nutrients like Lugol's Iodine, Methylene Blue, Borax, Hydrogen Peroxide, Turpentine, DMSO etc against the various different types of blood born infections.

I am also looking to start taking enemas regularly for the first time and have been studying them recently. The reason for this new interest is that I have seen the amazing benefits and results -- first hand -- on the autism site that I'm involved with at the moment. The kids are taking enemas on a daily basis and their health is undoubtedly improving rapidly. The coffee enema is a must to clear out all the poisons from my liver and body. Then there is the soda enema, the milk and salt enema(gets rid of excess mucus from the intestines), the MMS enema(parasites), the Iodine enema, the turpentine enema(with soap) etc -- I expect to be having hours of fun experimenting with my new enema kit and Lord only knows what sort of "rust" is going to come tumbling out of my old back pipe...!!

Hello Bill,

I have a similar hip issue; mine is related to pelvis shift problem. I have some scoliosis and the lower back is turned a bit and also the pelvis. So my problem is skeletal basically. My right leg, back side of leg above knee, if I've been driving in my car for a while starts aching, something like a cramp but not a cramping; just aching...like it needs stretching. Well, that's what helps. I do a lot of "karate" styled stretching. The more I do, the less the problem manifests itself.

Don't mean to say this is your problem; I'm just playing off your issue for anyone out there who might have similar issues...to add to the index of possibilities.

By the way, I love how you list the nutritional items in your post and then describe what that nutrient does. Your posts are always so informative.

About a month ago I got out of bed one morning and couldn't walk very well. There was a continual dull pain in my upper left hip area that turned into a shooting pain whenever I tried to walk. It was quite painful and, much more annoying, prevented me from going on my walks every day.

I had a think and then took the following supplements:

A decoction of Makabuhay (Tinospora cordifolia) -- Also known as Gudduchi in Ayurvedic medicine. Took it to get rid of the pain -- worked a treat as usual. This is the best remedy I have for any inflammation or pain problems in the tissues. Half a glass of the decoction, with water and fresh fruit juice, twice a day. Very bitter.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (300 mgs twice a day with food)-- To heal any nerve problems.

Lugol's iodine -- 8 drops a day to kill any involved pathogens. Also helps to heal bone problems like osteoporosis.

MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) -- To heal tissues problems and to reduce pain and inflammation. One teaspoon (5 grams) a day.

Brewer's Yeast -- One tablespoon a day to heal the nerves.

Borax (1/4 tspn per day in water) -- To kill any pathogens involved in any arthritic or rheumatic problems. Also balances hormones and removes fluoride from the body.

Magnesium Oil (sat solution of magnesium chloride) -- 10 drops twice a day to help heal bone/tissue problems.

This is how I took the supplements.

Took the Makabuhay first thing in the morning and last thing at night on its own. This remedy was free from my own garden.

Mixed Borax, MSM and Sodium Bicarbonate(1/2 tspn) in a large glass of water. Taken once a day. Sipped this throughout the day. Occasionally added magnesium oxide(1/4 tspn) to this mix for higher alkalinity. Taken outside mealtimes.

Drank lots of water.

Took Magnesium oil, Brewer's Yeast and ALA at mealtimes with a glass of water. If I got the ALA burning sensation after a meal -- I just took a glass of sodium bicarb with water (1/2 hour after the meal) which would get rid of this problem in minutes.

Lugol's Iodine -- 8 drops a day in a glass of water outside mealtimes on its own.

This protocol has worked well and the pain in my damaged hip has all but gone now but I'll be staying on this protocol for another month at least just to make sure.

Light Therapy for Pain

Hello Gertal,

About light therapy...

Under Earth Clinic's "Remedies" list...go to Blue Glass and Sunlight Therapy ... the EC information is from a book and is absolutely fascinating...Maybe that will answer your question.

I just read about a study using red light therapy for pain. I would be interested in this. What is red light and how do I use it? When I google it, I get results for the other kind of red-light (as in working women), not what I wanted.

One is enough to cause it you don't have to be an addict!!! I have been in hell for many yea's. I tried telling DRS THE PAINKILLER WAS MAKING IT WORSE!!! PLEASE LOOK IT UP. THE ONLY WAY I CAN SEE OUT IS TOTAL DETOX. IT IS HELL!! BUT AT LEAST AFTER SOME TIME IT WILL GET BETTER. I AM SORRY BUT EVEN NON OPIATE PAIN KILLERS WILL NOT HELP. OXYCODONE STARTED MINE. XXX

I have been suffering with severe back and neck pain for 3 months. I tried getting chiropractic treatments done and nothing was working. I couldn't really take any pain medicine because I am breastfeeding my infant daughter. I decided 3 days ago to start taking ACV. It was in no way intended for my back/neck pain, it was just for all the health benefits I've heard about, which at the time did not include chronic pain. Since taking it, I've been able to sleep on my sides again and my neck pain is almost gone. I didn't even know ACV helped with that so wasn't expecting these results! AMAZING!!! I am a true believer.

Shooting Pain Remedies

Happy New Year Al,

The problem you describe, shooting pain down inner thigh when you cough or sneeze, could be pelvis twisted a bit and that pinches nerves in the dorsal and down leg. Do you feel pain in lower back...especially very low in back?

I have low back issues, two rear end collisions (I was hit)...but have not had the shooting pain, but that doesn't mean a rotated pelvis would not manifest as you describe.

I've had success with Chiropractors over the years. I've had to try different ones until I got ones who nailed the problem. Also I've had some success with physical therapists.

So if the problem is really the vertebra/pelvis maybe a good DC or PT could help.

Looking at their site it says the ingredients of this Neutralizer Gel are Electrically engineered eloptic energized stabilized oxygenated water, ash of dedecyl solution, calcium, potassium, magnesium and carbopol 940. So it seems like the first ingredients is maybe hydrogen peroxide or maybe just oxygenated water. Then they add some minerals but combine that with some carbopol to make it thick (bulky) like a gel and the dedecyl to make it foamy and sticky. So basically it seems like with this stuff all you're really doing is putting on the 3 minerals calcium, potassium, magnesium. I take both potassium and magnesium (magnesium citrate) tablets for rheumatism pain. I also externally apply magnesium in 2 forms as magneium oil (magnesium chloride) and baths of epsom salts (magnesium sulphate). But never thought of rubbing the potassium on the body too, as well as taking it in tablets. Maybe I'll give it a try. See how potassium rubs work out.

Try taking ACV with aluminium free bi-carbonate of soda :-1 tps with 2 tbls ACV with the mother left in it two times a day once in the morning then again at night after the evening meal, buy some PH strips from your health store to monitor your ph levels , ph should be maintained @7.3 the bi-carbonate soda neutralises the Acid in the ACV as well as in your blood, good luck and keep looking for what is good for you ,

Have thought of you during your absence and tried not to succumb to worry as most times things turn out not-so-bad at least during peace-time.

My hip where I had bone marrow biopsy hurts only occasionally (in my weakest times) so I immediately place large magnet over it for about 15 min and all the pain and inflammation is gone.

The squatting is probably a form of "earthing" and earthing is the same principle of energy medicine as magnets. I sleep on a magnet pad nightly, wear a belt for about 2 hrs daily, and use strong magnet over any severe place like liver. I have several times achieved substantial reduction in BP w/ large magn over liver.

Anyway, welcome back.
