WARNING!

Warning: As I found out… My GF has HBP which is under control with meds but I don't have HPB. The baking soda baths are really helping me with RA so I tried it on my GF… BIG MISTAKE. Her heart felt like it was going to jump out of her chest for the next 3 hours.

People with high blood pressure should avoid baking soda baths or consult their healthcare provider first. Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) contains sodium, which can be absorbed through the skin and may increase blood pressure or cause complications for individuals with hypertension or heart conditions. Baking soda can be absorbed through the skin, introducing excess sodium into the bloodstream. High sodium levels can be dangerous for people with pre-existing high blood pressure, heart failure, or kidney disease.
