Cloves

I have been dealing with a toothache that has been radiating through my mouth all week long. I have been in so much pain and even strong pain killers were not providing an ounce of relief. I was also using tons of numbing solutions only to find myself in pain again a few minutes later. My Mom pulled up your site as we usually do (I don't know why we didn't do it sooner) and after reading the feedback about clove oil, went right out to find some. It was hard to find, major chains and vitamin shops didn't carry it but we do have a wonderful whole foods shop that did carry it. So when the pain fired up again this evening.. I put some of the Clove oil onto a gauze pad and held it down on the area that has been bothering me the most and I can't believe the results. I'm sitting here pain free. It seemed to work very quickly too.

Cloves

I had a horrible toothache. I held a whole clove on the tooth for 2-3 minutes and the pain is gone!

Be careful what you put out in the universe, keep it positive at all times! Yesterday there was a boring meeting I just did not feel like attending so I crossed my fingers and used the little "white lie" about a toothache! This morning I woke up to a throbbing in an upper molar, and drinking cold water set me over the edge! Grabbed a tiny bottle of pure Clove Oil. Applied two drops to outside of my cheek opposite my toothe, then one drop on gum area! I couldn't believe it...sure it's a tad bitter, but ten minutes later I am pain free...like magic!
Cloves

I was in agony with an infected tooth and even codeine and anti-inflammatories didn't seem to much ease the pain. Then I tried 100% clove oil. WOW is all I can say! The pain went in just seconds. It was truly amazing. Thank you so much and for this great site.

WOW! is all I can say. I was in such severe pain from an exposed tooth nerve that I thought I was going to go to the E.R. Then I tried cloves and my goodness the pain was gone in 2 minutes. Thank you for this web site- It is now on my favorites list.!!!!!

Tried the whole cloves, only took a few minutes, and seems to be working great!

Powdered clove cured my tooth ache. Thank the Divine; this worked IMMEDIATELY!

Tooth Pain: Fill the tooth with clove powder. Works better than anything.
Comfrey

Hi, just wanted to add this to the mix, I have found that sipping comfrey tea is helpful for toothache. One of it's other names is 'knitbone' which might explain why it seems to me to strengthen teeth :)
Ginger

Have used this remedy a few times, take a slice off fresh Ginger root, put on gum of bothersome tooth, relieves the pain and discomfort
Glycerin
Here's a suggestion re toothache: buy a bottle of Glycerin. Either the '100% pure Vegetable Source' from a health supplement store, or a drugstore's 'USP' grade is fine. Brush your teeth with it, pure. It is a moderately sweet, intensely hygroscopic 3-carbon alcohol, somewhat syrupy in texture. You can swallow it, if you wish. In fact, a swish on the back of the tongue and swallow kills the sulfur-loving bacteria back there and instantly ends 'death breath'. The G. will kill all bacteria in your mouth, and penetrate cavities, and filter down under the gumline and clean out periodontal disease bacteria, as well. When I figgered this out, years ago, I had only a few, loose teeth left. They immediately firmed up and I've had no problems since.
It has a myriad other uses; any skin condition responds rapidly, from sunburn to bites to psoriasis. Reorders and rebuilds the skin layers from the bottom up. Subdues inflammation, and turns off "alarm chemicals" causing pain; it is often prescribed for arthritis sufferers for that and other reasons. It naturally penetrates the skin without rubbing. Marvelous stuff. Dirt cheap; expect to pay $1/oz for it, and it goes a long way. BTW, it's the most widely used chemical in existence, partly because it is 'GRAS*' as a food additive, virtually the highest rating. Raisins soaked in it stay soft, e.g. used as a lubricant instead of oil in food processing equipment where contamination might be an issue. Currently, a glut on the world market as it is a high-volume byproduct of biofuels. *FDA-rating "Generally Regarded as Safe"
Green Tea

I used the acv, but I also tried green tea unsweetened and then sucked on the tea bags over the tooth and within an hour toothache was gone, then I drank the warm tea and that helped better than any over the counter pain meds. Hope this helps someone it did me.
Green Tea

I started having a toothache a week ago, I read before that green tea is suppose to help with gum disease, so I bought a bottle of green tea pills (I don't like the taste of the tea). They are 250 mg, and 95% polyphenols. I have been taking 4 of those a day, and mouth washing with peroxide and my toothache pain has reduced to almost no pain at all.
Hydrogen Peroxide

I had shooting nerve pain on an upper molar all of a sudden, maybe from overdoing a water pik but it seemed like a dental infection. I read on Earth Clinic about tea bags, but sticking a soggy black tea bag in the back of my mouth and trying to hold it there made me gag and throw up! So then I swished with regular hydrogen peroxide. I held it in my mouth for about 30 seconds. It foamed up real fast so I spit it out and did it again but added water. I more minute. I did this morning and evening. The pain was gone by the next day. No problems since then and it's been a week.
