One year to be diagnosed with H Pylori. I had all the test, Colonscopy/endoscopy 2 x blood. 3 parasite stool check, even a tested for H pylori all the tests were negative. My symptoms : nausea, chills, abdomen pressure, stiff neck, slight back pain, rash, nausea, sometimes shortness of breath, light- headed, my hands and feet tingled, fatique lymph nodes were swollen. weight loss to 99. susceptiability increased had sinus, yeast, bladder kidney infection. I went to dr for kidney inflammation (H pylori can cause issues with Kidney because it create Ketones) there is a pattern here. My medical dr did a quick blood test for H. Pylori, ten minutes later the dr announces " positive for H pylori. " Finally diagnosed! Right well infectious disease dr says he only looks at the stool tests and the stool says negative. The ND did a breath test it was super high in Hydrogen he dignosed it as SIBO guess what H pylori releases Hydrogen gas! I think it just depends on the dr on what test they like! Being severely ill for 1 year - not working or leaving the house I have no time to lose I HAVE to take antibiotics.

My dr says the antibiotics should get rid of a lot to the symtoms within seven days I prefer natural route this is what I have been taking coconut oil 4 times a day, drinking 1-2 drops of clove oil in water through a straw drink it all all day to bombard the H Pylori. The key is to drink real green tea to get eliminate the biofilm that protects H pylori then drink more clove oil or some other item to kill them! I took Ted's advice on the one day cure (you can look it up) I just took 1 turmeric pill with curcumin every hour for 11 hours straight and on the 12th, 13th and 14th hour I took dissolved aspirin 325 mg in half glass of water. The next day I had no more symptoms. But the day after that I did not feel so great so perhaps turmeric for three days straight maybe you could kill it. Ted also writes that H pylori has a weakness 1/4 tsp borax and 3% FOOD GRADE hydrogen peroxide 3%

I have been burping at least 100 times a day for 3 weeks. I tried everything like, eat less but frequently and avoided a lot of stuff that contraindicated. None of this worked. I am kind of worried about having h-pylori cuz a nurse I am working with told me that her husband had the same symptoms been diagnosed for h-pylori. I am a nurse but don't believe in medicine I want to do the natural way. So, last night I asked my husband to squeeze me 2 big pieces of garlic and mix it with apple cider vinegar. I took it by not chewing it, in other words, I just swallowed it. I got instant relief and had only 6 burp. When I got up this morning I dont feel bloated. Then this morning after I ate breakfast (probably an hour ago) I repeated it again. And I only have 3 burp so far. I feel so happy to have so much relief from this kitchen product. Hopefully it will help solve this problem cuz I hate taking medicine. I will give update after a week to see if this really a wonder cure.

I've had problems with H. Pylori due to multiple overseas tours. Got it in Iraq in 2006, had it untreated for a couple of years and then a doctor friend who had also been over there told me to get checked for h. Pylori. Sure enough, there it was. Went on antibiotics for a month and it went away. My symptoms were frequent, multiple attacks of almost purely liquid diarrhea, no matter what I ate. After raw/pure foods like sushi, it was less than 20 minutes between eating and elimination. Probably got it again last year in either Iraq or Afg. It's gotten really bad again, with frequent, uncontrollable, and watery eliminations. Between four and six a night after eating. My wife was telling me to go to the doctor, but I wanted to beat it naturally and I, like many of you, hate antibiotics.

Saw someone talking about coconut oil. I always have some on standby. The kind I used was unrefined, cold-pressed, whole kernel. Two nights ago, before eating dinner (I fast about 16 hours every day), I scooped about 1.5-2 tablespoons of coconut oil into my mouth and ate it. I had my first solid elimination in I can't remember how long. I make sure to have a large scoop every day before breaking my fast, and I haven't had a problem since. I am so happy. To all sufferers out there, I'm telling you, this is the cure. No meds, no big pharma, just good old fashioned Mother Nature. Don't be afraid to have too much. Organic coconut oil is a miracle food. Just take a big dumb scoop before you eat. Thank you for this site.

I had h. Pylori bacteria and was on ranitidine and other antibiotics for a few months. When I finished taking the medication, I consulted with a naturopathic doctor and decided to use a natural homeopathic method to heal my stomach, strengthen my immune system, and eliminate the bacteria from returning. I currently drink 2-4 oz of 100% aloe vera juice daily and apply magnesium chloride oil topically to my body daily. I have also used manuka honey successfully to ease the discomfort in my stomach. I feel alot better now and do not take any medication. My energy level has increased and I can eat food without any discomfort. My overall health has greatly improved. I am a believer in God and know that prayer works. Along with my health regimen, I pray and read bible scriptures regarding healing. God is good and provides us with natural foods, herbs, and plants to heal our bodies. I hope this helps someone out there.

I would have to agree with this, all of my severe episodes involving my stomach-reflux, indigestion, nausea- happen if I eat a big dinner which includes a concentrated protein like chicken or beef. Also, stomach acid is the lowest in the evening and it takes a lot of acid to digest meat.

I posted before on h-pylori and this is a follow up. I went to a health food store in Mexico for h-pylori, and the homeopath gave me the following: Colloidal silver, Chaparal, Shitake mushrooms.

I take 2 pills Chaparral 1/2 hour before breakfast and lunch, take 2 pills Shitake mushroom 10 minutes after breakfast and lunch. Take Colloidal silver after every meal, after breakfast, lunch and dinner. You finish all of it, the big bottle of Colloidal silver took one month to finsih. I have not tested yet, I am waiting for the two week period before testing.

I met with the Chinese Medicine doctor and she said that I need to stabilize my stomach first, then I will take herbs.

I hope that I can help by posting this.

Source: Centre for Infectious Diseases and International Health, Royal Free and University College London Medical School, Windeyer Building, 46 Cleveland Street, London, W1P 6DB, United Kingdom.

Abstract

AIM: To investigate the bactericidal and anti-adhesive properties of 25 plants against Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori).

METHODS: Twenty-five plants were boiled in water to produce aqueous extracts that simulate the effect of cooking. The bactericidal activity of the extracts was assessed by a standard kill-curve with seven strains of H. Pylori. The anti-adhesive property was assessed by the inhibition of binding of four strains of FITC-labeled H. pylori to stomach sections.

RESULTS: Of all the plants tested, eight plants, including Bengal quince, nightshade, garlic, dill, black pepper, coriander, fenugreek and black tea, were found to have no bactericidal effect on any of the isolates. Columbo weed, long pepper, parsley, tarragon, nutmeg, yellow-berried nightshade, threadstem carpetweed, sage and cinnamon had bactericidal activities against H. Pylori, but total inhibition of growth was not achieved in this study. Among the plants that killed H. Pylori, turmeric was the most efficient, followed by cumin, ginger, chilli, borage, black caraway, oregano and liquorice. Moreover, extracts of turmeric, borage and parsley were able to inhibit the adhesion of H. pylori strains to the stomach sections.

CONCLUSION: Several plants that were tested in our study had bactericidal and/or anti-adhesive effects on H. Pylori. Ingestion of the plants with anti-adhesive properties could therefore provide a potent alternative therapy for H. pylori infection, which overcomes the problem of resistance associated with current antibiotic treatment.

In an attempt to clear the stomach of urea I spit out all saliva and mucous formation in my mouth. If and to what extent this reduces the urea level in the stomach is not certain.

H. pylori expresses the highest level of urease seen in bacteria. The urease activity was recognized as an important parameter enabling acid survival early on in reasearch on the gastric mechanisma of H. Pylori. (Modlin I. M. , Sachs G. Acid related diseases: biology and treatment. Philadelphia: Lippincott Williams & Wilkins; 2004. P. 467)

Urea is a major end product of nitrogen metabolism by mammals. Diffusing from the blood through mucosal tissues and into the gastrointestinal tract. [... ] By metabolozing urea, H. Pylori is naturally acid resistant. [... ] When urea is added to H. Pylori cell suspensions at low pH values (down to 2. 0), bacterial survival is enhanced 10^3 - 10^6-fold compared with that in suspensions without urea, and survival is associated with rapid alkalinization of the suspensions by urease. (Brodgen, K. A. , Roth, J. A. , Stanton, T. B. , e. A. Virulence mechanisms of bacterial pathogens. Washington, D. C. : ASM Press; 2000. P. 69)

  • Drink liquorice tea
  • Chew mastic gum / eat mastic powder
  • Increase stomach acidity with vitamin C
  • Take aspirin in low doses

Conclusion of a study by W. H. Wang e. A. (doi:10.1136/gut.52.4.490): Aspirin inhibited the growth of H pylori, suppressed the mutagenic effect of metronidazole, and enhanced the susceptibility of H pylori to antimicrobial agents.

Be careful with the dosage: A study by E. S. Huang e. A. (doi:10.1016/j.amjmed.2010.12.022) concludes: Regular aspirin use is associated with gastrointestinal bleeding. Risk seems more strongly related to dose than duration of aspirin use. Efforts to minimize adverse effects of aspirin therapy should emphasize using the lowest effective dose among both short- and long-term users.

  • Take bismuth subgallate pills or pepto-bismol
  • Eat broccoli sprouts or broccoli

We showed that H. Pylori can be eradicated from human gastric xenografts after short-term administration of sulforaphane at a dose (1. 33 mg/day in each xenograft [volume, %u223C7 ml]; 0. 19 mg/ml) that can be achieved in the human diet (100 mg/day [stomach volume, 0. 5 to 1 liter]; 0. 1 to 0. 2 mg/liter). Thus, the administration of sulforaphane that can be safely delivered in the diet, particularly from broccoli sprouts, could be beneficial for the treatment of H. pylori-associated gastric diseases.

  • Use antimicrobial herbs: Cayenne, Turmeric, Cumin

Herbal or naturalistic treatment of ulcers includes the use of cayenne pepper and licorice root, among other things. Since the population of Thailand has little or no Hpylori-caused stomach ulcers, this has lead to the belief that eating cayenne pepper is an effective H-pylori preventive. Thai children begin eating small amounts of cayenne pepper when very young and increase their intake as they age. Some studies say cayenne kills the bacteria and stimulates mucous lining development in the stomach and intestine."

  • Drink cranberry juice

The double-blind, randomized placebo-controlled trial study by Lian Zang e. A. (DOI: 10.1111/j.1523-5378.2005.00301.x) into the efficacy of cranberry juice on Helicobacter pylori infection concluded:

Regular consumption of cranberry juice can suppress H. pylori infection in endemically afflicted populations.

  • Take red wine and green tea

A study by Paolo Ruggiero e. A. "To investigate whether red wine and green tea could exert anti-H pylori or anti-VacA (VacA is a pore-forming toxin produced by H. Pylori) activity in vivo in a mouse model of experimental infection" (ISSN 1007-9327 CN 14-1219/R):

Red wine and green tea are able to prevent H pylori-induced gastric epithelium damage, possibly involving VacA inhibition. This observation supports the possible relevance of diet on the pathological outcome of H pylori infection.

  • Drink peppermint tea to treat dyspepsia

Conclusion of a double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trial by B. May e. A. (DOI: 10.1046/j.1365-2036.2003.01522.x) "to assess the efficacy and safety of enteric coated capsules containing a fixed combination of 90 mg peppermint oil and 50 mg caraway oil (PCC; Enteroplant) in patients with functional dyspepsia.":

These results demonstrate the good tolerability and the favourable risk-benefit ratio of PCC for the treatment of functional dyspepsia. And another study by B. May concludes "In our trial, however, H. pylori-positive patients given PCC showed a substantially better treatment response, and there were no interpretable differences in treatment outcome between the two sub-groups given placebo."

Try to incorporate as many of available treatments as you can into your daily diet to improve the long-term outcome of H. pylori infection.

When I feel my stomach burning or stinging in the night I take vitamin C to increase acidity which seems to stop the pain by killing the bacterium. I also take aspirin which might improve the susceptibility to various treatments. Cranberry juice, red wine, peppermint- and liquorice tea also seem to improve the treatment.

Yes, thank you all you guys for sharing this truth that broccoli really cures H Pylori without any surgeries performed! My daugther of 14 years old was suffering from severe H P for 7 days. All medicine didn't cure it. Almost gave up. Then she tried your broccoli method and it works almost instantly! While eating it, she felt the pain just gone almost instantly! After eating the broccoli for the rest of the day, she was cured within that day itself!!!! Our entire family have been eating more broccoli since then to kill all bacteria in the stomach and body. Now even scientists say broccoli can cure cancer, not just prevent it. So guys, please eat more broccoli.

Acidophilus, Coconut Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar

I hope my post helps someone. I had Helicobacter Pylori for almost 2years, I am not sure how I picked up although I do suspect it may have been at the nursing home where I spent many days with my mother before she passed. Anyway after 3 failed rounds of antibiotics I resorted to antibiotics which they used to give H, Pylori patients back in the late 70's made up at a compound chemist, you take 17 antibiotics and acid lowering drugs per day. I made it through one day and had a bad reaction which resulted in a migraine for 1 week. After I recovered, I tried to accept there was nothing I could do and live with it (as one doctor told me), so I went home depressed and feeling sorry for myself.

Then I thought I don't have to accept this I wasn't born with it so I can get rid of it. Long story short I started taking Acidophilus "I.... H..... " sold here in Australia the dosage is 1 per day but I took 5 - 6 per day for the first week then alternated between 1 - 4 after that (Please note this is the dosage I took I am not suggesting that you take that many) its what you feel comfortable with. Then I took VCO (virgin coconut oil), the dosage varied from 1 teaspoon 3 x times a day to sometimes just 1 or 2 tablespoons the trick is to be consistant and take it every day no matter what dosage. I also took ACV with the mother regulary at first then every other day. And I am happy to say I cured it I no longer have Helicobacter Pylori, I have been tested and it came back negative and you couldn't wipe the smile off my face. If you have had no luck with antibiotics don't give up- this way may take a little longer but it was worth it. PS. I still take Acidophilus every day (1per day) and the occaional VCO & ACV.

Colloidal Silver

I actually spent 12 years in the laboratory researching the uses of colloidal silver. One of the more difficult projects was the effect on H. Pylori since it is an anaerobe (doesn't like oxygen) so we had to culture in a CO2 environment. However... We were testing a product called Super Neti Juice (which is a powerful colloidal silver) and found that it worked very well on H. Pylori even down to a stomach pH of about 3.0.

The trick is to take about 1 ounce on and empty stomach three times per day for about a week. If you take it with anything else... It will bond with that and not work. If you add sugar... It will not work. If you take it once a day it will not work. But when we tested just this simple product by itself, on an empty stomach, three times per day, it dropped the H. Pylori titer down to un-measurable. Even months later.

Hope this helps you. I have since used it on a few friends with ulcers and it has dumb-founded hte folks at the hospital because when they use the endoscope and see the ulcer and then the titer comes back for negative H. Pylori, they just shake their heads. Then... of course, the ulcers heal very quickly and everyone is happy.

ive been battleing pylori for along time and ive been ill for many years. I have ulcers for many years and I couldnt even function, but now im rebuilding my stomach. First you need to get rid of the pylori and parasites, yes parasites.

Im married to a latin fellow, and ive been sick most of our marriage. I tried one herb to take out the parasites first. The name is epazote, tribal people from the rainforest and people in mexico use it to take out parasites, of every kind. Ive never felt better, once I took the plant which is sold in any mexican grocery strore, I made a tea, but only drink 1 quarter cup in the morning on an empty stomach for 3 days and on the fourth day they will die and exit in your feces, do again in 2 weeks to get any eggs that are left, you must do it a second time.

Then I took probiotics to put the good bacteria back and changed my diet, I also drink apple cider vinager in a glass of water before bed, I was amazed all acne is gone and my skin is soft as a babys bottem, now its time to heal it, im about to drink the cabbage juice, what I have is sort of a leaky gut syndrome, that is caused by to much over the counter pain aids and it wore the stomach lining down and thats when the stomach lining was damaged, then that gives the parasites and pylori the greenlight to take over, I was to the point where the toxins went into my blood stream and caused alot of pain and sickness, do not exceed 1 fourth cup of epazote tea a day for 3 days and make sure you do it a second time. This is the only way to really rid yourself of this nasty sickness, I also eat enzymes with every meal. goodluck my life made a total turn around.

Hi, My husband had H. Pylori many years ago. The antibiotic treatment did not work. What did was homemade (strong) colloidal silver. I'm sorry but I do not remember quantities and as it was homemade I have no strength measurement either. He did have to take it for quite a while though.

Matula Tea
Posted by Alib (Swansea, Wales, Uk) on 10/26/2010

You have to be careful about condemning the product when you get a bad reaction - because the reaction may not have been to the tea itself but could have been the bugs reacting to it and throwing out some kind of toxin that your body reacted to. We assume when we get an 'allergic' reaction that it is to some kind of food, but is our body reacting to the food, or a toxin that is being produced by the microbes?

Some people need to start with a very small amount and gradually build up to the full dose. I have found this with other things - many react to things like eggs, or coconut oil when they first start a Candida diet, but by just starting with a teaspoon, or even half a teaspoon and gradually increasing it, eventually they are able to tolerate the full amount. It is not them reacting - but the Candida. Just to bear in mind too, that things like diarrhea, rashes, nausea and vomiting, etc. , are actually detox reactions and are not necessarily bad. Your body has to get rid of the microbes and other rubbish some way!
