My husband and a neighbor ate hedge apples for cancer. Unfortunately, it did not help my husband's cancer but it didn't hurt him either. Our neighbor had pancreatic cancer. The doctor had given him 5-6 months to live. He ended up living for 3 years and died of sepsis that he got in the hospital because of diabetes. While he was in the hospital they could not find any evidence of disease from the cancer. Apparently, the hedge apple and bindweed that he took made it so there was no evidence of the cancer. These are the only two things he did. I fixed the hedge apple for him and my husband. We gathered the hedge apples in the fall and washed them. Then we froze them. Then I would thaw them just enough so as to cut them and put the entire hedge apple in the food processor. When they were mush, I took an ice cube tray and put a tablespoon in each ice cube slot and froze them. Everyday my husband and our neighbor would each take out one hedge apple ice cube and let it thaw then eat it.
