Apple Cider Vinegar, Baking Soda and Coconut Oil:
Have used the described protocol several times now on small BCCs, for 7 days of treatment. It's worked each time.
To reduce the pain, try earthing:
- Attach an earthing pad to the skin near the treatment area. or put the treated body part on an earthing pad.
For earthing equipment and how to earth: https://betterearthing.com.au/
- Make sure that the contact of your skin with the earthing pad is firm.
E.g. when treating your left shin, lie on your left side with the left leg on the earthing pad and put your right leg onto your left leg for extra weight (the weight of the left leg on the earthing pad by itself wasn't enough for me to take the pain away).
I discovered this by chance. It's cut down half an hour of intense sting from ACV to just 5 minutes, and helped me with the baking soda and H2O2 treatments, too.
Apple Cider Vinegar, Baking Soda and Coconut Oil
Cured 3 BCC with ACV and baking soda with coconut oil.
The first time I removed my bcc, I used ACV soaked in a cotton ball and taped it to my BCC every night. After a few days it turned red and after about a month I was BCC free.
The second time I removed my bcc, it was close to my eyes, so I used baking soda with coconut oil 1 tbsp each mixed and made a paste and applied it to the area. After about 2 weeks I was bcc free. I had to deal with scabbing and redness but after that I'm bcc free.
I'm a 60 year young, white female, 130 pounds, living in the U.S.A., with basal cell carcinoma on the right side of my nose. A blackhead is what I thought it was and had gone to have a different non bcc spot checked on my left cheek. Biopsy was July 28,2015.
I started August 4th using organic apple cider vinegar, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide as a paste, alternating with fresh cut aloe vera (using the inside of the leaf) at night...securing either solution with a band aide. My nose looks horrible, due to the fact of more bcc there than what I'd hoped for. The area is puffy, red and just really looks bad. I believe I had read where it will get worse before it gets better. I'd love to post pictures of this process for two reasons, informative and feedback. Thank you for allowing me to join this discussion.
I had my first basal cell on my chest which a dr cut out and left a big scar. It came back so I used apple cider vinegar to clean the area and allowed it to sit on the basal cell which at times burned but nothing intolerable. I then mixed baking soda, vitamin c crystals and a little water to dissolve the crystals. The site grew into a half heart shape, turned black, crusted, and eventually closed in about 3 weeks. My husband made me go for a biopsy because he doesn't believe in my "witch doctoring" as he calls it. Biopsy clear 😊.
I got another one above my lip and along my hairline. I treated them the same and again my husband made me biopsy. All clear! I told him I healed 3 so I will not biopsy any more because it is 2 cuts, 1 to diagnose and 1 to prove to him it is clear. He is very cautious because he had one on his back that required mohrs surgery so he couldn't believe I was able to cure my own. He then got another one on his back and gave me the opportunity to "Witch doctor" on him. It took about 2 months to cure his simply because he would vascilate between whether he believed it would work or not but I convinced him to at least let me try before his appointment and now it is all clear. 😊
IF you use the treatment faithful 2 times a day, it should honestly not take more than 2-3 weeks to clear up but I know depending on location, you can't walk around with a white paste.
Aloha, I have a very large bcc on my forehead , I was going to have MOHS, I decided to wait 4 months because I have a large event happening and I did not want a 4 to 5 inch scar on my face at that time. A friend from my job told me about apple cider vinegar and peroxide. I have to say...it is working.
Now this is what I know ....from my experience
This is what I am doing
UNDERSTAND THIS IF YOU HAVE A CRATER LOOKING BCC THERE ARE ROOTS AROUND IT AS WELL...YOU CAN NOT SEE THEM ... BUT THEY ARE LURKING BENEATH YOUR SKIN.
I started with the apple cider viniger, slept with a cotton ball loaded with viniger on my forehead.
Dabbed peroxide on it thu the day many times and alternate with the vinegar.
Not only do I put it on the crater itself, but around the area about two inches.
I have been doing this since July 16, 2015
THIS IS WHAT HAS HAPPENED:
The large crater itself turned white, also bits keep coming out, another bcc appeared above the first one, this second one surfaced and is dying, around these bcc several small ones appeared, they are the roots. It looked like small dots at first..then came to the surface showing itself. The peroxide kills it because it dries it out, it cannot live, the apple cider viniger also kills it and soothes the skin.
I found that using the combo as much as possible works ...I sit and watch tv with a plastic cup and Qtip dabbing the peroxide on. I fan it to dry and add some more peroxide , 9 bcc have appeard and are dying off, just think how big of a scar I would have had if I did go for the MOHS
Depending on how long and deep the bcc is you may have a small scar, but better than a big one or having your eyes look weird because of the pull of the skin to repair your face.

Apple Cider Vinegar, Hydrogen Peroxide
I was diagnosed with BCC August 2013 via biopsy of pearly bump on upper forehead. Dermo DR recommended Mohs surgery ASAP. The biopsy removed half of the bump, I still had a small bump remaining after biopsy scar cured. I said 'wait, I'm going backpacking for 2 weeks - not a good time to be out in the woods with stitches. And 2 - what's the cost as I have a $5k deductible' (he said that I would probably use it up). After my trip, I found EC and read all the info.
Decided on hydrogen peroxide (standard 3%) applied 2x daily with strong scrub using a peroxide-soaked q-tip for one month, starting Nov. 2013. It stung but I would not say 'painful'. Small bump area was irritated (YES, peroxide is doing its thing). Eventually saw significant reduction in size of remaining bump but also no more signs of irritation.
Then I moved on to organic Apple Cider Vinegar Treatment using same 2x/day application with q-tip. this did not have same sting but caused a more general red rash area across my forehead but I did this for almost a month as well.
In both Treatment modes I left the area open (no bandages). In Jan. 2014 I returned to peroxide Treatment but there didn't seem to be any reaction thus stopped.
Today Feb. 4, 2014 I visited a NEW Dermo DR asking for a full skin scan (I'm 50 YO female, fair-haired, fair-skinned caucasian with lots of hours outdoors). NEW DR gave me full exam and declared that there were no concerns with my skin (any of it). I then told NEW DR of BCC Dx in August.... he rubbed my forehead with alcohol-soaked gauze and examined thru his 10x polar-light magnifier and declared 'yes, he could see a small pink bump (MINISCULE) in the scar tissue. and then he 'lawyered' up and agreed that the 'STANDARD of CARE' is Moh's surgery for this.
After he left, his assistant (who was there for the whole thing) said that I could wait until I got medicare insurance to cover the cost of surgery. So, I will NOT be getting Moh's surgery, I will be monitoring my skin for pearly bumps and other strange things. For pearly bumps I will invoke the peroxide Treatment (seemed more effective and makes sense when I think of my mom putting it on cuts and scrapes when I was a kid-'get rid of the bad stuff'); for other things I will go back to NEW DR for exam and Diagnosis.

I had a small BCC (basal cell carcinoma) on the bridge of my nose for 5 years. It looked like a small brown scab. It would just stay there for months, unless I pealed it off ... in which case it would bleed and form a new scab. Nothing would take it away, until I began trying apple cider vinegar. I dipped a small, flat, cotton oval pad (the kind used to remove makeup) into apple cider vinegar, and I placed the pad on the bridge of my nose. I left the soaked pad on my nose for 20 minutes a day. Slowly, the small scab-looking BCC started to fade, leaving a bumpy, pink lesion underneath.
At about the 4th week of treatment, the pink lesion seemed to suddenly become wider. I was frightened, until I read that BCC's can actually run deeper and wider than their surface appearance: BCC's can have deeper tentacle-like structures underneath their surface. Unless all of these "tentacles" of the BCC are removed, the cancer will grow back. So I continued applying the ACV-soaked pads to the bridge of my nose.
By the 7th week of treatment, the bumpy pink lesion flattened out. By then it looked like flat new skin had completely replaced the BCC. Nevertheless, I continued another week of treatment. It looked like the BCC was actually gone, after only 8 weeks! Since then, I have not applied apple cider vinegar to the area, and the BCC has never returned!
Update: May 9, 2017
Although the apple cider vinegar seemed to completely get rid of my BCC, it started to regrow very slowly like a scab three months later (Jan 2017). This time, I did not retreat the BCC with apple cider vinegar. I just ignored it and went on with my life, since it was still very small. However, by April, I decided to try a different treatment. Since I had read that cancers feed off sugar, I began a ketogenic diet (no sugar and no carbs) to try and see if I could starve out the cancer. Within a week, the BCC started to shrink, and within a month the BCC was completely gone! So I have decided to remain on the ketogenic diet for the rest of this summer, just to make sure the cancer does not return. Meanwhile, I have discovered another benefit of the ketogenic diet ... my psoriasis has cleared up!
Greeting from Australia and my heartfelt thanks to those who were willing to share their experience of using natural treatment for basal cell carcinoma. Very happy to add my experience of using VCO/BS during the day and ACV morning and night. This is my story so far. 22 years ago I had 2 bcc's removed from my face (eyelid and chin). At the same time I was advised to also remove some precancerous tissue from my eyebrows and just above it. I decided against that. Lately I had noticed many small red blobs appearing on my forehead and saw dermatologist who immediately diagnosed spreading bcc's. Advised chemo/radiation with possible surgery backup. I'm female, aged 75 and all through my life I have used natural remedies and not taking any pharma drugs. After doing a lot of research, including checking out feedback from earth clinic contributors, I decided for treatment with paste of Virgin Coconut Oil and Baking Soda half/half during the day, and a compress of half strength Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) am and pm for an hour. Oh my, after first application the extent of BCC spread and became clear. From my left brow it had spread all over my forehead and down to both my temples. Also a spot on the bridge of my nose. The stinging pain was intense, almost unbearable and this continued for about a week. I'm on day 8 now and still applying twice a day, the VCO and BS, and the pain has decreased somewhat, at least it is more tolerable. Initially my face was very inflamed and swollen and looked terribly alarming to my kids, who are not into natural therapies and wanted to take me to emergency. By day 4 my skin had a sandy feel to it and I realised this was the early beginning of crust forming. At no time did my skin bleed and right now I see how the outer edges are slowly diminishing. When I apply half strength ACV compress I need to protect my eyes with 3 layers of cotton pads to prevent ACV leaking into my eyes and for the same reason I am not able to treat my nose with acv. I realise that it may take another couple of weeks to know how successful or not this treatment has been. I hope that my sharing can assist others in making their decisions. Wishing good health to you all.

Baking Soda and Coconut Oil
I had a scab on my scalp that was 12mm in diameter and very slowly getting bigger. My doctor referred me to a surgeon who did a punch biopsy. The results showed that it was BCC and the surgeon said that I would need surgical removal fairly soon. The wait for an appointment to see a surgeon for an evaluation was two months so that made it easy to decide to use an alternative treatment. Although I had Black Salve available, it felt too extreme to use on the thin flesh of my scalp so I chose instead to apply baking soda and coconut oil once a day, thanks to all the Earth Clinic reports.
After a week, it got a bit irritated with some small amounts of blood expressed. At that point, I cut away the hair in the area and started applying a Band-Aid to keep it from my pillow when I slept. In the shower every day I washed my hair normally and then applied pHisohex anti-bacterial face wash as an antiseptic and then rinsed that as well.
After eight weeks the bleeding stopped and signs of the BCC were disappearing. I kept applying the mix for four more weeks just in case. Now the hair is growing back well although it's a little lighter and the only way I can tell where it was it is a slight dent in my scalp. I stopped six weeks ago. In a follow-up visit to my doctor I had to show him twice where the BCC used to be.
FYI, I consulted three more surgeons who all said it needed to be cut out and one even said I'd need a skin graft (where no hair would grow) to cover the wound. At that point the (free) surgery wouldn't actually be available for another three months as I am a public patient with a low time-priority issue. None of them would discuss my self-treatment for legal reasons.
In retrospect, I'd try the Black Salve as a quicker treatment and possibly more certain cure. Thank you EARTHCLINIC!
Baking Soda and Coconut Oil
I had a bcc on my scalp. Had surgery but it came back with a leison that grew larger. I researched and found a lady who had cured her mother's bcc in the same spot as mine with baking soda and coconut oil. She gave a pictorial ongoing account so I tried it and put it on every day and cleaned it at night. It was tender but gradually came off a little at a time. After several weeks the last part came off today. My scalp is red but I am going to put aloe vera on it. Now I'm hoping my hair will grow back there. Not sure if there is any of it remaining under my scalp but guess I'll find out.
Baking Soda and Coconut Oil
I started treatment of BCC on my chest yesterday with baking soda and coconut oil. Before the treatment I had only two small visible lesions. Now my chest is full of "new" visible "spots". Is it this normal reaction to the treatment? Thanks, Vessna
Baking Soda and Coconut Oil
I was just diagnosed with basal cell on the tip of my nose. I used a paste of coconut oil and baking soda (1 tsp of each) as often as I could. I also first swabbed the area with apple cider vinegar. I am happy to say after about 6 weeks, I am free of any cancer on my nose. It works and looks completely normal.

Hi my mother is suffering for late stage skin cancer, I'm not sure what type of skin cancer it is. Can I just ask if it Baking soda + coconut oil can still heal late stages of skin cancer? Please email me if possible. thanks :)))) badly needed.
BCC skin cancer removal: I had a multi-point BCC [Basil Cell Carcinoma] removed surgically from an area between my right eye and ear. A painful and nasty procedure with only local anestetic and skin graft leaving a circular scar about the size of a 50cent piece. I noticed that a part of the cancer may have been missed about 1yr later and my concerns grew after it hollowed out and expanded. I really didn't wish to have another op. so I tried a treatment that I was using for skin tags and moles. I placed about a table spoon of bi-carb soda into a small measuring cup and added a small amount of csstor oil BP to blend up to a fairly consistent paste, no lumps but firm enough so it wouldn't run when placed on my lesion. I covered this with fabric band-aids and replaced it before going to bed and in the morning. As these lesions tend to bleed and weep freely anyway it helped more so to have the band-aid coverings on not only to stop the bleeding and weeping running down my face but to also hold the paste on the lesion. Ugly and not fun for about 2 weeks then I realised the bleeding was slowing. After 3 weeks I removed the covering one day and noticed the affected area had flattened out and no more bleeding but the area below and around it was very red and sensitive as if the solution had been burning the skin. I allowed it to air for a day placing Hydrogen Peroxide all over the area. It scabbed up overnight and I continued to keep it covered for the next few days. The scab was trying to lift and I was a little concerned that all was in vain but once the scab came off it left a smooth almost completely healed spot. That was yesterday 4/07/08 and today even better. I slept on it last night without being covered and even showered today without concern and not a hint of problem thus far. I hope to leave a little more feedback over the next 2 weeks on progress and I sincerely hope this is of help to many others who have real concerns over BCC's.
Warning though, the compound stings a bit and the burning and redness of surrounds may be disconcerting but please try it for yourself. All the best to all with this ailment and I hope I have been helpful to you.

For around 2yrs I had a sore on my head that wouldn't heal, it was risen around the edge and depressed in the middle, kinda like a crater. I had a bad habit of picking it and assumed that was why it wouldn't heal so I decided to leave it alone and I put a paste of water and bicarbonate of soda on it at night for a few weeks and it cleared up in no time even although I would forget to put the bicarb on for days at a time.
A few months later a similar eruption appeared nearer the crown of my head and shortly after that another smaller one near it. This time I used 3% Hydrogen Peroxide as I could put it on throughout the day without the hassle of the caked bicarb in my hair. It felt like a needle being stabbed into my brain the first few times I done it, I got such a shock but it only lasted a minute or two and by the third of fourth application I didn't feel anything. Both sores cleared up within two weeks.
Now I couldn't see these sores on my head so don't know what they looked like, only what they felt like so last year when I noticed a small, raised, whiteish circle on my arm I didn't associate it with the things i'd felt on my head until recently when it started to pit/depress in the middle and felt just like them. This time I done a bit of research on skin problems that won't heal by themselves and as soon as I saw pictures and read about Basal Cell Carcinoma I am certain that is what these sores are. I will buy some Hydrogen Peroxide this week and do a follow up in a week or twos time.
