Apple Cider Vinegar for Genital Warts

Firstly, thanks to all that have posted in here, your input was wonderful and gave me a very positive mind set to tackle the problem of Genital warts. Here is my story. Diagnosed one year ago with anal GW I was devastated. Not knowing much about the virus I was overcome with the reality that I had to tell my partner of 2 months that I had GW. After much hesitation I was coaxed by my new partner to tell him what was going on, he knew I had something on my mind so I told him. Being a very supportive type of guy he understood the situation and supported me through the initial shock of finding out I had GW. So, firstly the Doctor gave me a topical cream to try and sort the problem, did not work for me and the warts just got bigger. I had them burnt off with Cryotherapy, was a relief to see them disappear, but within a month they were back! With a vengeance! I noticed more than 5 re-appeared. Tired of visits to my local sexual health clinic (located in the most indiscreet position on the main street!), I was determined to find a natural cure. That is when I found this web site (yesterday). Anxious to try the ACV method I rushed to the store and got some cheap ACV and cotton buds. I used the cotton bud soaked in ACV method. Placed the soaked bud just inside my anus and went to bed, the pain was severe! but don't let that put you off, after 5 hours trying to sleep with the uncomfortable stinging I took the bud out and managed to sleep well through the night. I took a look in the mirror in the morning and I too had the warts turn white. Deciding to shower and clean the area I was AMAZED to find the warts coming off in fleshy bits as I washed. All cleaned I took another look in the mirror and most of the warts had disappeared! With only one application of ACV for 5 hours! I was STUNNED! Yes there was some bleeding of surrounding tissue and I have applied some antiseptic cream to ensure no infection will get into the abrasions. I will let the area rest for a day or two and then re-apply the cotton bud soaked in ACV method, perhaps for only 3 hours next time. Will update in a few days to let you all know how I am getting on. MANY MANY MANY THANKS to you all! And for anyone considering the ACV method, DO IT!! Never mind the pain, it is well worth it!

Next day began treament using ACV, three times daily with washes in between. noticed after 24 hours began going black, and today just over 48hrs since the beginning its has all but vanished..

continuing treament today to be sure.. moral of the story, this natural inexpensive treatment is bloody genius, with some positive thinking this embarassing problem can be sorted 'toute suite'

Thank you all for sharing your experiences, I noticed two days ago that I had a cluster of warts on my old fellow. I was shocked at the timing, given my girlfriend and I had just moved in together. 5 months earlier before we started dating I had 7 warts removed at a clinic in LA at $150 per wart it was not cheap but I wanted this over before starting a committed relationship!

I do not have medicare so wanted to avoid such an outrageous bill, then I found your site. I started treatment last night and this morning one of the smaller ones has already given up the fight!

I'm so grateful for all of you sharing, because of you I was able to have a very straight conversation with my girlfriend and turns out she had HPV before and understands. She is very supportive and understands that this is very common and to be safe will get checked as well.

OMG!!! I practice medicine and I have to say that the Apple Cider Vinegar actually works!!! I have been in a relationship for 2 years and was recently diagnosed with HPV/anal condyloma (warts). So, my primary care and my derm put me on Aldara and used liquid nitrogen to freeze them. After reading all the side effects and length of time it would take the Aldara to work I thought of looking into some home remedy and found Earth Clinic's website (THANKFULLY!) I bought some ACV and used regular toilet paper and applied it for 45 minutes. I couldn't believe my eyes! All the areas with the HPV (not only the warts themselves) turned whitish. So bascially it was treating areas that I would never have known to be infected. So that night, as many recommended by people who've posted, I slept with cotton balls soaked with ACV. The next morning I could already see a difference. The areas that were whitish were now greyish and in some areas black. I repeated the process again that night and though kinda sore (it does sting a little at first for sure), I kept it on over night. By the 2nd day the warts DISAPPEARED and some areas that had turned blackish were a little excoriated. So, I have been using neosporin and Vit. E gel to alleviate any possible irritation. It has been about a week and the area is almost totally healed. DEFINITELY give this a try!!!!

Apple Cider Vinegar absolutely works. I have a small wart on the foreskin of my penis. Since it was on the foreskin that can be wrapped over the head, I decided it may work better if I don't use any tape or Band-Aid. I just took a cotton swab and remove the small amount of cotton from the tip. Then dipped into the ACV. The cotton with ACV was placed on the foreskin near the head. That is where the wart was. Then the foreskin is wrapped over the head keeping the cotton in place. I started at midnight. I had it in place until 9am in the morning. When I check in the morning, it was white and bigger than before. Then I replaced a new cotton containing more ACV. I had this on for another 9 hours until end of work day at 6PM. When I when to take a shower at around 9PM. The wart fell off when I try to clean it before another application.

I am currently applying one last application to ensure the wart is totally destroyed. My first and second application was not painful at all. The last application sting just a little bit. This pain is very light as I don't have high tolerance for pain. The only other thing to mention is that there is a small color change on skin right next to it. It is so small that this not much to worry about. I am sure it will heal in the next few days so I am not going to try to apply anything else to it after my last application.

I really appreciate all the feed and input from people on this site. I read quite a few before take this step. But this turn out so good that I owe it to all you to post my experience hoping that this can help others.

YES! This totally works! I am so excited because I didn't really expect it to work at all, but figured I'd give it a shot anyway. I have been self-conscious about this for a long time and now it's completely gone! I am so pleased!

While most people state their wart was removed within 3 or 4 days, my treatment took 9 days. I think this is because I'd had the wart for a long time (6 years) and it was quite large. I did not have the same trouble a lot of people mentioned with this treatment. It was really easy and totally convenient for me. I never developed any raw skin as a result of the treatment. I did have a little burning after the first few days, but only for 10-15 minutes and it wasn't bad AT ALL!

Here's what I did- at night I'd apply VITAMIN E OIL to the area surrounding the wart using a q-tip. I tried to be careful not to get any on the wart. I think this is why I did not experience any discomfort during the treatment. Then I'd apply a very small (just large enough to cover the wart) ball of cotton that was soaked in Apple Cider Vinegar. Then I'd cover it with a bandaid. In the morning I'd shower and apply the vitamin E oil again to the surrounding skin.

My wart did not just simply fall off, but I'd see discolored pieces of it and knew they were ready to come off. So I'd pick at it really gently and the pieces would come right off. After doing this for over a week, the wart finally became so small it eventually rolled right off of my skin when I pushed it with my finger.

I hope this helps! If you're anything like me, you're thinking this treatment might not work for you but TRY IT! It really works! And if you think you might experience skin discomfort, try vitamin E oil with your treatment!

ok everyone... i sucked it up and put a tampon with acv in my vagina...omg!!!!! i didnt think there were any in there.. couldnt see one... my entire vagina was infected!!!! its all white after two days.. take tylenol and advil this is a doozy!!!! will hurt like crazy.... but warts are turning black after two days of use... today will try again... just do overnight girls.. put a and d or vitamin e on everything during the day.. i am drinking aloe vera pure juice 3 times a day 4 oz.... taking a shot of acv at night before bed... i think this is it... the aloe ive been drinking for over a week for detox.. just started acv drinking last night... it is bringing everything out.. all at once.. get ready but seems like its is working out great so far!!!! thanks for all the info everyone on here...

I was cursed with hpv after 7 months of a relationship not knowing what the hell to do. I went to the gyno & got them frozen off and it was the worst experience of my life, so I was really hesitant to go back when they re-appeared. I saw this website and got some ACV and Tee Tree Oil. I taped a little peice of cottonball damp with ACV over all of them. The pain gets worse as it gets better but it's not nearly as bad as the pain of the gyno freezing them off. To make the stinging subside I'd put some Tea Tree Oil on a Q-Tip & apply it, it also helps any scarring. To my surprise in the past week and a half I've gone from about 10-15 warts to 1 without one trip to the horrifying gyno. I am SO happy that I found this site and that other people could give me their input. 2 more days I won't have to worry about these nasty things anymore. If you're skeptical, try it! It seriously works.

ACV Treatment Cont.

Well it's been 5 days since I first started treatment and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with how things are going. The three day miracle that I was hoping for didn't exactly come true, but I am well on my way!! I'm choosing to do the slowly but surely method of things instead of ripping my skin apart trying to get rid of these things overnight. The past few days I did a couple 'spot treatments' at the reccommendation of Mr. E (THANK YOU!!) using cotton swab tips and ACV. I left them in place for about an hour. A couple times I felt like I could pass out from the burning/stinging, but I stuck it out. I was pretty tender today so I chose to forego much ACV - just on one spot that creeped up, but it's tiny and I think that should be gone soon. I did have some skin that got a little burned right outside of my vaginal opening so I have been spot treating it with A&D ointment and it's feeling way better.

I've also been bathing lots in warm water and then keeping the entire area dry and clean with hydrogen peroxide. I've also been taking a shot of ACV in a glass of water in the mornings (tastes like hell, but whatever) as well as garlic and vitamin e tablets in addition to the multivitamin that I always take. I'm also really watching my diet and exercising everyday. I did so some Vitamin E treatments yesterday but really kept it simple today with just a little ACV because, again, I don't want to do any real damage! I will probably do another round of ACV maybe tomorrow or the following day.

I'm worried about internal warts at this point. Has anyone tried douching with ACV? I've never douched because as it's said not to be such a good thing, but I figure it wouldn't be a bad idea all things considered. YES! ACV WORKS!! I used the ACV on one wart near the anal area, and it turned black and fell off after ONE treatment! The rest of mine were located right inside my vagina, within the first inch or so. I was hesitant, but I decided to do it anyways, so here's what I did (sorry, it's so long but VERY helpful):

I took a cotton ball and saturated it in diluted ACV (about half and half, maybe a little more ACV than water). Then, I stuck it right inside the opening to cover the ones within that 1 inch region. I left it there for about an hour or so, maybe a little longer. I figured that since it's such a sensitive area, I'd better not do it too often. So then I took it out and left it alone for about 2 hours, then I stuck another one (same solution) in and left it for about 20 or so minutes, then took it out. After these treatments my labia was SO SWOLLEN and it was definitely burning a lot and then subsiding after a little while, then it would get bad again. So then, I took some Vitamin E capsules I bought and poked a hole in them and rubbed them all around my labia, then inserted one all the way up in my va-jay-jay, and the other right inside the first 1 inch region so it could break and run down and coat that area.

The next day, my labia was very raw looking, so I decided maybe I shouldn't do the ACV again, so I just repeated the Vitamin E treatment the same way as before. (ladies you may want to put a small panty liner in your panties so that when the vitamin E drips down it doesn't get all sticky/hard in your panties.

The next day, I woke up and looked at it and it looked really gross! Almost like a chunky, white discharge! I hopped in the shower and washed really well down there, got out, and ALL of the warts that were in the first part of my vagina are GONE! It looked all chunky and white because those were the warts sloughing off! I thought the warts inside would turn black and fall off too, but this area is so wet and moist they just turn really white and then turn almost cheesy like (i know, SO gross) and you can wipe them right off! I was astounded.

There are 1 or 2 more deeper inside my vagina, almost to the cervix. So I'm going to repeat the vitamin E until they go away. If they do not, I'm going to try a new treatment I've found.

If the vitamin E doesn't work or you don't want to put the ACV there, try tea tree oil suppositories. We've all heard about the tea tree oil remedy for the outside part, but I had no idea that they had tea tree oil suppositories too! I looked them up a little bit more, and found that many women actually use them to prevent or treat cervical dysplasia and genital warts on the inside. Just take a suppository, and stick it right on up as far as you can. I'm not sure how often to repeat this treatment, but it probably says so on the bottle. They're sold at most stores like Whole Foods, herbal drug stores, places like that.

I really hope I could help you guys out! If anybody has any issues, just shoot me an email because I know how hard it is to be in this situation.. especially when you're a complete health nut like me, are not promiscuous, and never thought anything like this would ever happen to you. Just realize that this is not life-threatening and it's not the end of the world! You're not alone, just look at this forum and you can see how common GW are! around 5 months ago I have noticed a small bump on my dear friend down there and I did what always do when I see something that bothers me, I ignored it. The time passed by and another one came, and another one. I then realized that I got to do something about it. so I did what any person with ugly pimples growing on his penis will do, I went to see a doctor.

The doctor scared the hell out of me and send me to the pharmacy to by Podofilox. at that point I was already shy $200 - the doctor visit and the medication plus - I was scared to death. after 2 weeks of using this topical solution my GW got smaller but where still there, alive and a kicking and... It hurts. it hurts and I had cuts down my skin. another week passed by and I ran out of podofilox so I started looking online.

I found this web site and I could not believe it. this stuff works like magic. after 2 days of use the GW was almost gone! I applied it twice a day for about 30 minutes or so it killed those ugly looking things I had over there.

My tips are these: make sure you apply it on the affected area only and not on the "healthy" skin. it left some browses on my good skin and know I am waiting till these will heal. make sure you keep the area clean, I took at least 2 showers a day and washed it well with Tea tree soap. and cleaned with hydrogen peroxide to prevent infection.

THINK POSITIVE - THE ACV IS THE CURE FOR GW - I am now drinking this stuff twice a day with water and lemon to clean out my body. make sure you eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, this will build up your immune system. I will never have an unsafe sex again in my life. and will ask to see paper with tests results from each partner - I consider my self lucky that I did not get something worse.

So this morning i woke up and the three in a cluster that i thought weren't budging are completely gone!! the other big ones are white and hopefully on their way out, but now there are like 6 little ones in the anal region that i never noticed and probably a hundred little tiny white ones that have popped up and i think that they are ones that were there before that just never showed before, but part of me wonders if i maybe spread the virus by messing with it.???? I'm gonna keep up with it though since the three are gone and will continue to update.

I had a small wart growing on the shaft of my penis, so I tried the apple cider vinegar remedy. It worked, and I am now wart free. The only down side is that I now have a scar that is much larger than the actual size of the former wart. If I were to do it again, I would apply a smaller piece of cotton to the wart to try to minimize the affected area. I was just too eager to get rid of it. Oh well, I'd rather have a small scar than a wart.

OMG the ACV really works I found out 7 yrs ago that I have HPV. I have tryed everything and nothing works till I viewed this site. I thought what could it hurt. I went to the store and bought acv for $1.38 and I have cottonballs and papertape (medical). I soaked two cotton balls and taped it to my boy over a big cluster of 20 warts. I only applied before bed time. Well two days later I could nota stand to put it on any more so i left it alone for a day every thing turned black. First and foremost, I would like to thank EarthClinic and all of my fellow posters. Ok, Now that that's out of the way, here's my story:

It all begins when I began showing some growths in my vaginal area (all external) right after giving birth. At first I thought they (the growths) were vaginal skin tags which are common in pregnant women and are believed to be caused by hormones and excess weight gain. I began reading and searching online for what I could do about them. Upon my research, and reading about HPV and GW, I determined that I exhibited symptoms of GW-- and since a large percentage of genital skin tags are directly linked with HPV, I deducted that somewhere along the line, I had contracted HPV. Due to The stress of the Pregnancy, along with the compromised immune system that comes along with pregnancy- my HPV came out of its "dormant" state. Mortified at my discovery- I began a quest for knowledge and treatment. After reading on the CDC's website that 90% of HPV infestations disappear within two years of discovery--- I didn't feel all was completely lost. I stumbled upon this site while searching for treatment plans. Since DR's can be EXTEMELY EXPENSIVE,I was hoping to find a treatment that wouldn't empty my pockets. ACV was mentioned in quite a few sites, and after reading the posts by all those before me, I decided... why not give it a try- and put the skepticism aside.

The Course of Treatment:
I went to the local drug store and purchased a tea tree oil blend w/ vit. E and other wonderful oils. Then straight to the grocery for a 2 dollar bottle of ACV. Bag of cotton balls and some maxi thins.

I took a warm shower and cleased the area well.
I then made sure the area was clean with some Hydrogen Peroxide..
I placed an ACV soaked cotton ball directly over the growths (suspected warts) that had claimed my pleasure organ for their home. At first It slightly burned...not too bad...yet....
Put on some clean underware (not thongs, or g strings ladies-- good old cotton undies) stuck a maxi pad in there- and wore the pickeled smelling contraption for about 30 minutes.
I then took it off (growths had turned a whitish color) and put the tea tree oil (VERY SOOTHING) blend over the area- and left it alone.
I repeated the process about 8 hours later...this time the burning a little more severe.
I continued doing this for two days-- now on my third day-- the growths have turned black--and are falling out one by one. I will note that ACV burns more with each treatment--but take it with a grain of salt- and if you simply can't bare it... stop, put some tea tree on and try again a little later. (I've had to bite down on a towel to keep from screaming)
This really does work great... and for a couple of reasons- 1) the acidity of ACV is like a chemical peel- and a disinfectant 2) the price of prescriptions is about 300 times more. 3) The humility of the doc's office is mortifying 4) The results of ACV are quick and effective.

Again, there is minor discomfort--- but who cares if it works-
I am not sure of the long term benefits- but will post back in a few months with an update.

I am a few growths away from being growth free..YAY!
