I have not been bothered by hemmoroids for YEARS, and out of the blue... ugh! I could not imagine what triggered this episode. After a couple days of treating with OTC ointment I BINGED remedies and found your website. I have bookmarked you!

After reading the reviews, I am using the Apple Cider Vinegar. One of the replies stated that the person had eaten dry white rice and thought that is exactly what I had eaten the day before at a Mexican restaurant. I did attempt to moisten it because it was extremely dry rice with vegetables. I guess I did not hydrate it enough.

I diluted the ACV after reading about the burn many experienced, but went back and strengthened the batch I mixed up so it is about 2/3 ACV, because it really did not burn at all. I do feel a slight itch and for me that is a healing itch.

I can already feel the relief and I am thrilled.

After 3 days of swelling and discomfort tried OTC cures for my "roids." Nothing was working and just getting more uncomfortable. Read the posts on here and tried it. First day had some relief, by second day swelling down by half and pain is minimal. So far I've spent $50 on OTC junk. Found the ACV in my pantry because I always stock for Kidney Stones. Why don't I look on this site before running to the pharmacy? Thanks guys. I think a few more days and I'm out of the woods.

I can attest to the fact that ACV will get rid of hemorrhoids. I just dabbed a bit on with a paper towel after my morning shower. Stung a bit. Gone in a week.

I took a small syringe of ACV and washed my hemorroids and then inserted only the tip into my rectum and it did burn for awhile but after 10-15 minutes, wow what a relief finally. After that I took cotton pads soaked in ACV and left them as a compress. I've been doing this now for about 6 hours and geesh what a relief.

I live in India. I have three hemmorids for sometime (almost year) and anal papilla. I started drinking ACV and directly putting ACV 2-3ml using syringe. Not sure the mild pain is due to Hemmorids or papilla. Had gone to different Doctors and surgery is the only option given since they say it is Grade4.

Please help. Any of you had papilla and you have any other suggestions for cure? Thank You, Sunder

Sunder, I live in Pakistan and hence I think I can help. I am extremely obese with an irregular schedule (12 hour sitting job at night) and would eat a lot of fast food/processed food (don't cook myself, always order delivery or takeaway) hence I suffer from both internal and external Hemorrhoids,

I have found a way to help myself by some very simple dietary changes. I try to incorporate some of the following items in my daily diet to keep hemorrhoids away, hope they can help you also.

  • papaya
  • psyllium (ispaghol)
  • Flax Seeds Powder(alsi k beej)
  • Garlic powder
  • prunes (idrak or bari kishmish)
  • figs in water (injeer)
  • onion
  • Barley water (jau ka pani)

If I continue with my routine of including any two of these items, I stay okay but if I mismanage my diet, I am again confronted with these hemorrhoids from hell. When these painful devils appear, the following things have worked for me.

1- Mix one table spoon of turmeric (haldi) with equal quantity of mustard oil (sarsoon ka tail) and heat it over direct fire, let it cool slightly and apply on a cotton pad and apply on the hemorrhoids, this is one of the best. Do this many times a day along with good fiber and within 24 hours you will be cured.

2- Yes American Garden Apple Cider also works nicely, though I would prefer an organic saib ka surqa more. I keep a small bottle of apple cider vinegar and coconut oil in my office drawer also for emergencies.

3- Coconut oil, slightly warm can also be helpful

4- vicks are also offered temporary relief

5- a portion of prickly heat powder mixed with a portion of rash cream (have tried it only once when I had a sudden appearance of a worst hemorrhoids at works and had to complete the shift (12 hours shift in a call center, standing is not permitted). This provided temporary relief.

Hello Sunder and Farha,

Re hemorrhoids...

Very informative post by Farha....

Another topical application of Castor Oil is leaving tissue with ten drops of CO on for at least thirty minutes. See if after five applications the condition has not improved.

Dear Farha and others,

Thanks for your tip. Could you tell me how the ACV is applied. I applied it and it burnt my anus. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

Regards,

Hussain

Ever since the birth of my daughter two years ago I've been battling hemorrhoids. Once I was unfortunate enough to get one during labor with her it was like they would come on at the smallest provocation. Usually they last a few weeks, while I use witch hazel to try to get rid of them. Well I was 3 days in with one today, and this one was much less bareable than the previous ones I've had. Witch hazel just wasn't cutting it. I got on here and looked to see if ACV would help, because it seems like that stuff helps with everything. Sure enough, I read tons of posts saying that it would help, so I tried it out. 3 hours later and the pain and irritation are mostly gone, and the hemorrhoid has already shrunken considerably! I can hardly believe it. I just applied some ACV to a paper towel and then pressed it up against the hemorrhoid and left it there. It didn't even sting all that much, for which I was very thankful. I would definitely recommend to anyone using ACV for hemorrhoids!

Only one person has mentioned about a cut on external hemorrhoids and I wanted to discuss my experience. I have an external one and applying ACV on it directly has worked in the past, but not this past week. The burn from the cut is so intense after applying the ACV, I was shaking in pain. I'm still ingesting it (8oz water to 2 tsp of acv), because I'm a firm believer of the ACV.

I'm going on 6 days and the rawness of the cut is still fresh. I want to try ACV again, but so scared the pain will set me back another few days of healing time. I waddle, I can't sit and I'm either lying down or standing most of the time. I found the sitz bath in cold water for 2 minutes is sufficient. I also switched from warm methods like using a cold pack, wrapped in new plastic food wrap for hygience purposes and applying directly to the roid for 2 minutes max.

I'm still in pain (fresh cut), but it's tolerable since it's shrunk a tiny bit since using all my methods above.

After having my thyroid removed, almost two years ago, my whole system has been out of whack. My doc re-evaluated all my meds as I was seriously in need of some help, but the side effect of this was constant diarrhea. ( I just realised the cause ) Sometimes I go 3 times a day, the constant pain and dread of pooing razor blades has sapped my energy and joy for so long! I have been in total agony for 8 months with roids that creams would not fix. I tried wheatgrass which helped after about 6 weeks but not competely as I ran out and they were worse than ever.

I read this Apple Cider Vinegar natural treatment last week and have tried it out of desperation. Finally something that works! I keep a small bottle of it near the loo and wipe myself with it whenever I go, and took the suggestion of a cotton ball soaked in acv and used that three times a day. It sure did sting for a while but after the roid shrunk in size after about 4-5 days I realised there was another one there behind it that was causing the recent pain. Now it too is finally shrinking with acv! Even wiping myself with it on some tp means for the first time in months I've been able to clean myself properly. I've also added it to some foods and been sipping a few teaspoons in a drink bottle as often as I think of it. ACv really does work and it's been such a relief! I hope it cures them completely which may take another week at this rate but after what we go thru it's worth it. So very worth trying! I hope it works for all other readers who give it a go.

After suffering the past 6 weeks with a painful hemorrhoid, I finally found EarthClinic and the apple cider vinegar treatment. I have been in agony and tears the past few weeks. I have tried everything until today when I bought some ACV. I first poured about a cup of it in the bath along with warm water and immediately felt relief.

I was afraid to put it directly on the area, my skin is very sensitive anyway, so I first diluted a cotton pad with a little water and then soaked it in ACV. I felt a cooling sensation and it didn't burn at all. I got braver and then soaked the cotton pad in ACV and stuck it in my "area". I finished getting dressed and afterward felt a lot better, more so than anything I have tried. I also drank a bit diluted in water, it wasn't that bad. I will continue to drink this. I also think that my hemorrhoids were caused by the sugary, fattening holiday foods! I hope that this helps someone.

Yes it worked for me. Sitz bath 15 to 25 min. each with 1 cup of ancestral type apple cider vinegar 3 to 4 times per day. 97% gone so I keep going. I also increased fiber intake and put cornstach on between treatment. Having a laptop or tablet while bath sitting will make the treatment more 'fun'.

I have just started using Apple Cider Vinegar last week after coming across this site and wow what a difference!!! The bunch of grapes has almost disappeared. I have tried the cotton wool dabbed with the Apple Cider Vinegar and when it burned I decided to sit in the bath with a cup full mixed with water. I'm now also having a teaspoon of it every morning. And being a diabetic the Apple Cider Vinegar has being bringing my sugar levels down. So I I'm killing to birds with one stone.

Have been suffering with hemmoroids for the past 3-4 weeks, but have had them for years. This flare up has been particularly rough. Have tried otc medications plus things ordered over internet. Nothing worked!!! Was considering surgery when I found this website and thought it was worth trying.

Started using ACV and within the past 3 days and there has been considerable reduction in the size, with minimal itching and burning. I no longer wake up at night in agony. Tried sitz bath but that burned alot, so now I just apply to cotton ball and leave on. Still get some burning from that so don't leave on for prolonged period of time (i. E. I could not sleep with the cotton ball in place). After I take the cotton ball off, I then place small cloth covered ice pack post application of ACV. You can buy these ice packs at your local pharmacy - the packs are made for this. Note - I had been using the ice packs with otc meds, but they didn't help reduce size, itching, or burning. The combination of ACV and ice packs IS working!!! Amazed that this is the only thing that has worked for me. They are taking time to heal but think that is just because they had gotten so bad. From now on when I feel them flaring up I will use ACV immediately. Hope this helps someone else.

I have been suffering from hemorrhoids for the past 2 weeks. I have gone to the emergency room and I have gotten so many medications and creams I can't even remember them all. Today at work I was about to quit my job because the pain that I was feeling was unbearable. My friend found this website and told me to go to the store and buy the ACV and to try it out. I rushed to the store and I applied to a cotton ball for like 10 sec. I did this 3 times. In about 2 hours I was able to sit at my desk and go on about my day. I am amazed at how this simply thing took my pain away. This is WONDERFUL!!!!!

I just wanted to share my story of mild success...

I have chronic constipation. I also have a 9-5 office job and also do computer work from home so this has lead to me getting some internal hems. I tried to change my diet to include more fiber in most all meals, which helped a little. When I eat cereal I put a little flaxseed oil as well. I am also taking psyllium husk with breakfast and dinner to ease BMs. I started putting a cap full of ACV into a glass of water and drinking that after breakfast and dinner, so I can brush my teeth after. I feel better in general and I think it's from drinking the ACV.

As for the hems, I've been soaking a Q-tip in AVC and applying that directly on the hems. It stings a little but has really worked for me. The only problem is with itching. For the first couple weeks it stopped the itching, but now it's coming back with a fury! It seems like a cut that's trying to heal, so it naturally itches. Not sure what I can do to allieviate that yet, but with all the comments on this thread I am greatful. I'm getting positive results and feel better.

I cured a hemorrhoid in a couple of days with ACV. Mine was an external one so I soaked a bit of cotton wool and put in in there while I did computer work. I never felt raw or anything and I never washed it away. In maybe two days it was gone. First I had tried some cream which did nothing at all!
